Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a year in the life of the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the 1962 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: COLTISH!
-
I have Tom's phone number (assuming he didn't change it when he moved), so I can text him in the morning.
-
I was in Webelos too, DR George!
That is funny about the line.
-
I should greet you with the secret handshake. 8)
-
Well, I did sleep for a bit.
-
But now, I'm awake.
-
Hope DR TCB is OK.
-
I did have a little dream.
I was onstage playing Dolly Gallagher Levi. But then, later in the number, I was suddenly Horace. Part of the staging was that I had to attach stray gloves to the outside of my costume. Only I couldn't get the safety pins to work.
-
Oh, and good morning, everyone.
-
I should greet you with the secret handshake. 8)
The other actor had a line about a secret handshake! ;D
-
Oh, and good morning, everyone.
Good morning, Singdaw!
-
I am really hoping I'll be able to go back and get a few more hours.
-
I know you'll enjoy your day off, DR George!
-
Guess I'd better go back and read today's notes, so I'm not out of order.
-
I am really hoping I'll be able to go back and get a few more hours.
Good luck!!
-
Looking forward to bk's comments about the new Show Boat blu ray.
-
All caught up.
-
Thanks, DR George.
-
Suddenly the phrase "I wish my brother George were here" popped into my head.
-
Someone told me that all of the original Looney Tunes cartoons were available now on some streaming platform. I just can't remember which one.
-
It appears the platform is HBO Max.
-
Good night, Singdaw. I'm off to bed now, too.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
As I was scrolling through my emails this morning, there were five emails in a row from the loony harasser, full of sound and fury, since the world is out to get him, and all tedious nonsense. Then, to make it worse, when I reached the end of the new emails, there was one more, repetitive verbiage reminding me of King Lear screaming at the wind and rain.
-
I slept rather well, much better than the night before. I remember no dreams.
-
BK, good news about your Monday vaccine. Mine's on Tuesday, so we casn compare sore arms on Wednesday.
-
Palestrina is another opera I do not know. I am very impressed!
-
Today I return after two weeks to Jerome Kern's Oh, Boy! I also need to look for a Jerome Moross film score in my carton of Moross scores ands put away my 2020 taxes.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I don't know from Pfitzner's Palestrina, but I love his vaccine.
-
;D
-
Good morning, all.
-
I don't know from Pfitzner's Palestrina, but I love his vaccine.
And his faucets.
-
Interested in checking out Palestrina. It appears there are several recordings and even a DVD to choose from.
-
Congrats to MR BK on his vaccine appointment.
My second Moderna will be on March 19 - I know about the side effects, but as someone said, it's not as uncomfortable as being in the hospital on a ventilator.....
-
I loved reading about the year 1962 in the notes.....most excellent.
-
Last night my two favorite basketball teams were playing. And of course the games were on at the same time.....so I was switching back and forth between them.
Both of my favorite teams .... LOST.
I will only say to one team: IF your best player is getting guarded and blocked and it is impossible for him to make the points he usually makes - SOMEONE ELSE has to step up and score some points. And this includes two other players who happen to be the sons of the COACH and another player with a face only a mother could love.....they have been riding the coat tails of the other guy all season.....and have now been exposed as the weak players they truly are.
-
Big fire in Compton California.

I don't know from Pfitzner's Palestrina, but I love his vaccine.

Yes, she was quite popular in the late 70s, early 80s.

The year I was born.

That is funny.
-
Happy Purim.
-
Let's go home for it!
-
Such a morning! My debit card arrived in yesterday's mail, I had to report a shipping issue to Chewy.com, my insurance agent had sent me a reminder my apartment insurance premium was due on March 3 and I had to send him an email telling him I had never received an invoice, and my doctor wanted to know if that prostate biopsy had been scheduled. Not yet, I replied.
-
And I had to create 38 pdf files from Finale scores.
-
Friday
morning afternoon greetings! How did it get to be so late?

Here is promised photo of My Chair in the wrong room on the wrong carpet.

DR JRand, I like your new-to-you chair.
-
I like the chair, too. Except you can tell it's used; the previous owner's signature is all over it.
-
DR elmore3003, you've been a busy bee. Exhausting just reading it all.
-

;D
-
I also like the new chair. I also like the carpet, just not with the chair.
-
DR Jrand did your sister say when she will take her chair home?

Nice.
-
Good morning.
-
Hugs to you, Elmore. I hope your treatment will be easy and very effective. Every man in my DH's family has had prostate problems, and they all lived to be very old.
-
I won't be eligible for any covid vaccination probably until summer.
Sometimes, though, a second person in the car with the person with the appointment is given a shot. They said NO to me when I went with my DH. However, a 30-something woman from my church who took her mother in got offered a shot. Same location.
-
DR elmore3003, you've been a busy bee. Exhausting just reading it all.
He's got three helpers!
-
The harassing group emails continue. I am not amused, and I am about ready to reveal the author of these emails because he needs serious help.
-
Maybe I will even post a few here so you DRs can see the drivel he's sending to everyone on his ever-growing list of folk out to get him.
-

Maybe it depends on how much unused vaccination they have or the time of day. I am sorry it didn't also work for you.
-
Just browned and seasoned a couple of pounds of ground beef - some for tonight, some for whenever - because tonight has been designated Taco Night. I also sliced, diced, and shredded the lettuce, onion, tomato, and cilantro. The Mexican blend shredded cheese, taco sauces, hard and soft shells, and sour cream are standing by. Then I threw a few Oxford commas into the mix for added flavor. It's just good old all-American tacos, and we're ready to roll.
-
I know people who have gone into locations and waited to see if there were unused vaccinations. They actually got vaccinated.
-
Then I threw a few Oxford commas into the mix for added flavor.
My favorite!
-
Good afternoon!
-
I'm glad to hear that BK and DR elmore have vaccine appointments!
-
I hope DR George hears from DR TCB.

Call the exorcist! Drive out those demons from your sentences.

Good morning! It's business as usual. School, rehearsal, rehearsal tracks, recording rehearsal tracks.... these are the days of our lives. There might be a bike ride in there today!

Are you coming to pick me and the cats up? We love tacos!
-
I'm up, I'm up - certainly I was in bed for eight hours but I don't know if I actually slept that many.
-
I solved the Oscar Brown Jr. conundrum - wasn't 1962, it was June of 1964 when he came back with a solo show called Faces of Oscar Brown at that same Music Box Theater. I would have discovered his albums the year before, that I definitely remember.
-
DR singdaw.....LOL.
DR JANE perhaps my sister will read my post on Facebook and decide to take her chair home. Time will tell.
-
It is 47 degrees here today......nearly ALL the snow is gone.

Perhaps...

I am laughing that you are not asking her to take it :)

This talk of tacos is putting me in a Mexican frame of mind. I think we shall order delivery of Mexican goodness this evening.

Joining in the worrying about DR TCB.

Anyone interested in the Pfitzner Palestrina opera, eBay ten bucks for a three-CD set https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hans-Pfitzner-Palestrina-CD-May-1989-3-Discs-Deutsche-Grammophon/174655628829?epid=44321021&hash=item28aa49661d:g:nA8AAOSw7axgKwBT
I realized I have a Pfitzner box set of all his orchestral music and I searched back and I loved that box. Now playing, another Pfitzner opera that's got narration and long orchestral passages that is just fantastic. In fact, it's like a second cousin to Hansel Und Gretel - so similar in sound and melody and this recording I'm listening to features Helen Donath in the lead, as she is in my favorite Hansel and Gretel recording with Kurt Eichhorn, who conducts here. Highly recommended, this one. Another thirty pages to proof and that will be that.
-
Had a chicken Caesar for food and picked up a couple of packages, too. Later, I'll have to put gas in the motor car. Oh, and the most important of the important envelopes arrived.
-
Here's a Palestrina for 8.50 and you can Best Offer it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hans-Pfitzner-Palestrina-CD-May-1989-3-Discs-Deutsche-Grammophon/324447276072?epid=44321021&hash=item4b8a908c28:g:OiwAAOSwWxNYydzN

Watched the end of Martin Eden. Yawn.

Four!

Hello, 2 guests!
-
Do you know where our TCB is?
-
Starting up an action movie called Greenland that's supposed to be on the fair side of ridiculous. Gerard Butler. Not singing.
-
Good night, friends.

Assassins reunion.
-
Well, Greenland has managed to make me stay with it. But it's an odd movie with an ugly, selfish premise. You've been chosen to survive the end of the world, but there are strings attached, such as no chronic conditions. Why you? Are there worthier people?
-
It's time to turn in.
-
But before I go ...
-
Gratuitous post No. 99!
-
Good night, all.
-
Finished with my viewing and finishing up the Pfitzner Das Christelflein, which I'm just loving.
-

It was distracting, kept me entertained. The medical aspect makes sense if they didn't have enough medication, still ;)
-
I think I'm done creating rehearsal tracks for the night. My eyes are about ready to pop out of my head.
-
I hope DR George hears from DR TCB.
It would've helped if I had remembered to text him this morning. ::)
-
I just now sent a text and hopefully, he'll reply. :-\
-
Happy Purim, everyone.

It's still a nice chair, Jrand. :)

George were you able to reach Tom?
Not yet. :(
-
I went to my mom's today.
-
I cut down a small tree that was in an inconvenient place, then cut up the branches so that they could be put in the yard waste bin.
-
We also added a plastic bendy pipe to one of the downspouts so that it drains farther away from the house.
-
Okay, this TCB thing has all of us worried. Can't you call him?
-
This is three days now.
-
For lunch, my mom had some Burger King coupons, so I drove through and got us Whopper meals.
-
And really, let's get some postin' goin' on.
-
Really.
-
Page four is, well, page four.
-
And so is page five.
-
Okay, this TCB thing has all of us worried. Can't you call him?
I suppose. It is late, though.
-
Okay, there was no answer, but the outgoing message was his voice, so I do have his correct number. I left a message to either call or text me, or to post here.
-
Well, I just got a text from Tom. He said he's fine.
-
He's fine but not coming on here? Did he say why this three-day absence???
-
He's fine but not coming on here? Did he say why this three-day absence???
He didn't say anything else.
-
Well...
-
I suppose it is what it is.
-
Whatever it is.
-
At least he's fine.
-
I am glad DR TCB is ok.
-
I guess we're having a very low posting day. Nothing to be done about it as I have to get to bed.
-
At least Jane and George showed up.
-
I am glad DR TCB is ok.
Hopefully, he'll come back soon.
-
His last post was on February 21 - that's SIX days. I don't get it.
