Well, you've read the notes, the notes were at 38% and hopefully climbing, and now it is time for you to post until the hopefully climbing cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: LUCID!
-
Great video, George, but not as impressive as 90,000 posts,
-
Great video, George, but not as impressive as 90,000 posts,
But, of course! :)
-
40%! That's what I'M talkin' about.
-
And we're now over $3,000. 50% is the next tier. We can DO this.
-
Good morning, friends.

Good morning, all!
-
Finally, a pretty good night's sleep. I had this strange dream that I was driving back to Miami University for a prodiuction, and I had forgotten my work kit of pens, tape, music paper, rulers, etc. There was some nonsense as well about a ballet benefit, with each "group" responsible for the music for a sequence. My group was responsible for Delibes' wonderful Variations on a Slavic Theme from his ballet Coppelia.
There were a lot of friends in the dream, but I only remember now my late Middletown friend Rick Snelling, an AIDS victim from the 1980s, who moved to Florida shortly after I moved to New York, and Wade Russo, one of Goodspeed's musical directors.
-
Speaking about Coppelia, last night before President Biden's address, I watched the latest Royal Ballet production on DVD. I like the production quite a lot, and the beautiful score is played very nicely by the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. Marianela Nuñez, a real star, is an amazing dancer with a good sense of humor.
-
Today I have a few messes - some kitties, some mine - to tidy up, a few bills to pay, and a leather jacket to pack for its Amazon return. Then I will move on to Jerome Kern's Oh, Boy!
-
DR George, I loved the soccer-playing cat. I won't even try to pronounce or spell its name.
-
DR TCB, I do not understand ewhy, since your MRI is in March, your doctor cannot see you before June. That's ridiculous.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Weird dreams last night about returning to work.
-
Second shot later today.

I think this may be the most painful version of all:

Here's the trailer for my play, CLAIRE TREVOR, available in paperback and Kindle editions via Amazon and elsewhere.

Physical therapist coming today
Not fun.
-
Good morning.
-
Hugs, TCB. I hope they can quickly find out what's going on so you can get some help.
-
So sorry to hear about your friend, John.
-
We got some rain overnight. Very nice.
-
My parents got their first vaccine shots yesterday. Here they are not doing the 2nd shots here for 3+ months. They give you your appointment at this appointment.
-
Good morning, all.
-
In a few hours it will have been 48 hours since my second Pfizer cocktail, and all is well. Aside from the expected sore arm, my only reaction was feeling like I was dragging my ASS yesterday. Today, back to normal.
-
Kitty cleanup is over, bed made, mail picked up, and I will have a wee lie down before I tackle my next assignment. Stella has been zooming about the apartment all morning, Annabelle has been eating)!), and Thatch, a born flirt, has been doing his untmost to let me know he needs chin scratches and lots of PDA this morning.
-
Congrats to MR BK on 42% this morning.
-
Congrats to DR TCB on his millstone and his second shot.

PAGE TWO.
Jayne Mansfield - Sophia Loren side eye dance.

-
What I like about this photo is that sitting to Jayne's right and usually cropped out of the photo is Clifton Webb whose reaction is nearly as priceless as Miss Loren's is.
-
Friday.
WKU won last night so they will be playing in the semi-finals today at Noon. If they win then, they will play in the finals on Saturday at 9 p.m.
I thought that everybody would want to know that.
-
We got some rain overnight. Very nice.
We did not. Forecast was only 50% possible, but I was hoping.
-
What I like about this photo is that sitting to Jayne's right and usually cropped out of the photo is Clifton Webb whose reaction is nearly as priceless as Miss Loren's is.
So many reasons to like this photo.

I think this may be the most painful version of all:

Now if that invitation doesn’t attract you, well, ...
-
And you’re right, Singdaw. Perhaps the worst. And funniest.
-
She’s like a gift that keeps on giving.
-
That one doesn't attempt to change keys with her, which is actually just as funny as the others that did. It's also hilarious in the held note and the final flourish. Bravo, well done!
-
And now pardon me while I scrape my eardrums up off the floor.
-
Well, Hillbilly Elegy picked up quite a few Razzie nominations.
-
Good Morning. No school today (local holiday) and it's a lovely day out. Happy Birthday, Liza!

Physical therapist coming today
Not fun.
~~~Therapist Vibes for Druxy!!~~~
My parents got their first vaccine shots yesterday. Here they are not doing the 2nd shots here for 3+ months. They give you your appointment at this appointment.
Isn't that weird...waiting for 3+months? I've never heard of waiting that long. But then, I haven't gotten my first shot, yet. ::)
-
Congrats to MR BK on 42% this morning.
Ditto!! ;D
-
Second shot done. Waiting for a nice carnitas plate as my reward for being good
-
It is so great reading about everybody getting signed up and getting their vaccines.....1st and 2nd shots.....
-
I wonder how the In Diegogo campaign is going?
Thanks DR VIXMOM.
-
Birdy Barnum is dropping off his winter feathers.....I will soon have enough of them to build a whole other parakeet.
-
And WKU won its game this afternoon. The Hilltoppers trailed by three at the half but came back to win by six points in the end.
SO they will play in tomorrow nights Conference-USA game at 9 p.m. EST.
-
Friday. This must be a slow day at HHW.
Seeing the new perks make me hope I win the lottery this week so that I can buy some of the things being offered.
-
I may have missed it, but I didn't see any autographed cast photos offered.
-
Well, this is really cool! One-take drone video of Minnesota bowling alley goes viral (https://youtu.be/Tvkot4jGLWU)! The first minute and a half is the drone flying through a bowling alley, and the rest is of the video creators talking about how it all happened. :)
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep.
-
42%!!! Hoping we can at least do 8% more today.
-
I forgot to offer DR TDB a hearty congratulations on his lofty new perch in the HHW firmament.
(I can't say or write the word "firmament" without thinking of "Singing in the Rain.")
-
Funny, that.
-
THREE!!!
-
If all goes according to Hoyle, I expect to be fully COVID-protected by the last week in April.
-
But I'm still going to be hand-washing, social distancing, and mask-wearing. Because I don't want other people to die.
Who can?
-
No action in the last hour. Need ACTION.
-
DR TCB congratulations on your second CoVid 19 vaccination. How do you feel?
-
Tom I am sorry yesterday was so difficult. Do you have to wait until the next appointment to get oxygen?
-
My parents got their first vaccine shots yesterday. Here they are not doing the 2nd shots here for 3+ months. They give you your appointment at this appointment.
Like in England, sorry. I hope they are feeling ok today.
So, The Prom has opened in Japan. Apparently "Love thy neighbor" has no Japanese translation and neither does "It's time to dance."
https://www.playbill.com/article/watch-highlights-from-the-prom-now-open-in-japan
-
The two operas what were supposed to arrive today aren't.
-
Ended up ordering food from The Federal - mac-and-cheese (great) and a Caesar salad (also great).
-
But in other news: DRUM ROLL - 49%! I was beginning to fear this would be a bad day, contribution-wise, but one person came in, didn't even take a perk, and just contributed $500!
-
So, 1% to being halfway there.
-
But in other news: DRUM ROLL - 49%! I was beginning to fear this would be a bad day, contribution-wise, but one person came in, didn't even take a perk, and just contributed $500!
That's amazing!! :D :D :D
I wish I had friends like that.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I ran some errands today. My watch needs a new band. I called the jeweler I usually go to only to learn that they no longer service watches. What?! And they had such good prices, too. I'll have to take care of it another day. But I did take care of some other things. It was just starting to rain again as I pulled into the driveway.
-
Wow!
-
So, so much has changed. Largely from Covid, of course, but I think lots of businesses are simply rethinking things.
-
Health vibes for TCB and anyone else who needs them.
-
I wish I had some interesting news, but I don't.
TTFN.
-
Is anyone surprised that J-Lo and A-Rod called the whole thing off? Does anybody care?
-
Time for me to leave work and play some cards.
Until later.
I had no idea :))
Found a bunch of stuff in the garage that are potential perks, including a ton of stills I got many years ago when the Theater World collection was being sold - all the stills used for their various volumes. These are original photos, one-of-a-kind. I have a ton from Stop the World's original cast, I have one-offs from Bells Are Ringing (Judy Holliday), The Miracle Worker (two) with Duke and Bancroft, Damn Yankees (two), and lots more. I should think these would sell quickly if I put them on the Facebook B'way boards. The six theater programs that were up sold so I now have some more to put up. I also have two original cels from Kiki's Delivery Service - these seem to have gone through the roof in the past decade - I haven't yet found one for under $2,000, but most go for three or four grand.
-
Four!
-
Collecting is a strange world.
-
Strange but wonderful, I suppose.
-
I collect dust.
-
I couldn't take much more of Leave Him Alone. So, it's headed back to the library.
-
Starting Under the Yum Yum Tree. Very dated, but it's always fun to see Edie Adams, Carol Lynley, Imogene Coca, Paul Lynde, Dean Jones and, oh, yeah, Jack Lemmon.
-
Has anyone read Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro?
-
Has anyone read Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro?
Not yet. Sounds fun. Maybe soon. I go hot and cold with Ishiguro.
-
Gratuitous post No. 99!
-
Late on Friday.....tomorrow night, we lose an hour....so live it up.
I hope DR DRUXY's therapy went well.
-
Where is DR TCB?
-
Where is DR GEORGE?
-
For that matter, where is MR BK?
-
Congrats on 49%.....it may be 50% now!
-
It IS 50%!
-
Having taken delivery of a grocery order, I am now heading to bed.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Watching Nomadland. Very slow contribution day - thank goodness we got that big one. I may not wait until Monday to put up the new perks.
-
So, Sunday is Pi day. What kind of pie should I make?
-
Vixmom, Macy's is selling Martha Stewart's 2-quart Dutch oven for $39.99 ($70 off)
Finishing the evening with a few more episodes of Josie and the Pussy Cats. The music is certainly the only thing worth watching. Unless, that is, you're a Casey Kasem fan.
-
Good night, all.
-
Has anyone read Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro?
Not yet. Sounds fun. Maybe soon. I go hot and cold with Ishiguro.
I started hot and am going cold.
Time for me to leave work and play some cards.
Until later.
I lost...both games. ::)
-
Oh, well. :)
DR TCB congratulations on your second CoVid 19 vaccination. How do you feel?
I feel great. No pain at all. Although my friend, Diane, says that the second day is the worst.
-
Tom I am sorry yesterday was so difficult. Do you have to wait until the next appointment to get oxygen?
At least that long. I am not even sure the PA can order the oxygen.
-
That's too bad.
PAGE FIVE "HI, TOM!" DANCE!!
:D
-
Where is DR GEORGE?
I have arrived. ;D
-
DR TCB, I do not understand ewhy, since your MRI is in March, your doctor cannot see you before June. That's ridiculous.
I was thinking of a different word than ridiculous.
-
It IS 50%!
It's about time!
-
I'm sure most of us were. ::)
How can Clifton be sitting on Jayne’s right?
-
Health vibes for TCB and anyone else who needs them.
Thank you, Jeanne.
-
Yes, should have been 50% as soon as that contribution hit because that did put us a bit over halfway home. Hoping for some action tomorrow.
-
Is anyone surprised that J-Lo and A-Rod called the whole thing off? Does anybody care?
Poor J-Lo! But she really couldn’t expect him to continue to be unfaithful to himself.
-
The BELLS ARE RINGING would be great, if you could get Judy to sign it.
Leave Him Alone. That is the Jean Valjean number cut from LE MIZ.
-
Starting Under the Yum Yum Tree. Very dated, but it's always fun to see Edie Adams, Carol Lynley, Imogene Coca, Paul Lynde, Dean Jones and, oh, yeah, Jack Lemmon.
Imogene Coca - Blah!
Where is DR TCB?
Good question.
Yes, should have been 50% as soon as that contribution hit because that did put us a bit over halfway home. Hoping for some action tomorrow.
Ah, me too.
-
Well, there is nothing wrong with hoping.
-
Hi, George. Perhaps you should have played three games.
-
Hi, George. Perhaps you should have played three games.
Sometimes that helps, but there were four of us playing, so the odds weren't in my favor, either way.
Not to get political, but what a f*cker...GOP Sen. Ron Johnson says he never felt threatened during Jan. 6 Capitol attack (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/gop-sen-ron-johnson-says-he-never-felt-threatened-during-n1261024).
The Wisconsin lawmaker said he would have felt threatened if Black Lives Matter or Antifa had stormed the Capitol.
-
I didn't like the Yum Yum Tree movie - terrible. I'd loved the play and had seen it so many times, and the movie just didn't quite do it in the laughs department.
