Show vibes for MR BK & Co!
Both of my nieces got their 2nd shots today. They could have gotten them 2 weeks ago. However they were advised that they would be more effective at 8 weeks.
That is what I am talking about. Different people are being given different “facts” by different doctors and/or governments. Why should Canada and America be operating under different rules?
I have a busy day today. First, the lab work I missed yesterday and then a taxi ride to Columbus Circle for that CT scan. I will arrive early, so I'm taking the Al Hirschfewld biography with me.

12-17 year olds were only eligible here at the end of May. At that time their scheduled second appointment was only for September. But they were eventually able to change it to 8 weeks. But then people were allowed to get them at 4 weeks.
So they could have gotten them 2 weeks ago. It's at the parents discretion. And since the numbers are quite low here my sister decided to wait the extra 2 weeks. Part of it was to do with my younger niece's training schedule. She didn't want her to get her shot on Friday which would mean that she would not be able to do her Friday morning swim, her Friday night soccer practice or her Sat and Sun soccer games.
Oh, and yesterday we signed on the dotted line to have our basement water-proofed. Bring on the jack hammers!
DR Vixmom, how is Vixdad feeling today?
I am home and happy to be here. All went well.

You will be very happy to have a water free basement.

Wow! I have absolutely no idea what that entails, but what a great sounding endeavor. Congratulations!

Yes, and I hope the mold abatement helps my allergies, too.
Hopefully, someone in the audience can record a little video??
CBS News this morning had an idiot woman from Phoenix explaining why she refuses to wear a mask.

Has anyone besides me seen the miniseries Belgravia?

Today, for anyone who's missed it, is
NATIONAL MILK CHOCOLATE DAY!!
Of course I indulged. It would have been rude not to.

And then there's the minister in Tennessee who said he won't allow anyone to come to church wearing a mask. He feels the lockdown was the government's way to damage business. He seemed to miss the part about the 600,000 deaths.

DR Ginny, what are you having done? I'm familiar with the waterproofing spray that some companies use, but I don't think it's that effective. Some people install french drains to keep their basements dry, but that's a bid deal. You found something in between?
It's time to rinse my eye again.
TTFN.
To my utter delight this afternoon I found Thatch sitting in the top level of the cat tree. I guess he's feeling himself.

I can’t explain the whole thing, DR Jeanne, but it’s supposed to take 5 days and be very noisy. And we don’t know exactly when it will happen because we’re on the “flexibility” list, for which we received a discount.
Well last night a cast member quit.....at least it wasn't a brother! A young girl playing the Baker and also in the ensemble had a "family emergency" and had to leave the show.....so there. Take That!
Ah well.....I think if I could find an assistant stage manager, I would feel much better about the whole enterprise.
Tonight we block The Megamix......
It's time to rinse my eye again.

Is this still from the alcohol in your eye?
Hi, George.

DR George the story on Anita Bryant and her granddaughter is interesting, sad too.

Did the quick errand, had a little miracle that makes today easier, and am still relaxing and resting my voice.

Emily Post would agree.

I have spent the last hour searching the condo for Sasha.
I was about to call for help.
I finally found Sasha trapped behind the washing machine.
I tore apart everything I was capable of tearing.
This is her second disappearance in the last 24 hours.
A lot of it has to do with how frantically Buddy has been chasing her around the condo.
Now I need oxygen and some medication.
Good night, George.
