Title: KRITZERLAND AT VITELLO'S 114
Post by: bk on July 29, 2021, 01:06:35 AM
Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Vitello's 114, and now it is time for you to post until the 114 cows come home.

I have to put the laundry into the washers in about five minutes.

The show sounds wonderful, BK! I'm happy it went well. Is "Meantime" the song that Carol Burnett sang in Julie & Carol at Catnrgire Hall?

I loved the photo. Sharon McNight looks much thinner than when I last saw her about 20 years ago. She was very Junoesque back then.

Once the laundry is finished, I plan on doing very very little.

DR TCB, Annabelle's disappearances used to drive me mad. I could tear the place apart for hours and worry that she somehow escaped into the hall to the point of tears from worry, and then she would calmy walk out of one of the closets several hours later. I'm glad you found Sasha and that she is okay.

I think the allergies were exacerbated during a walk I took yesterday. Everyone was out mowing and stirring up dust.

One of my favorite Yeston songs is By the River from his December Songs, an obsessive song about love and death. Here’s a version from Sarah Zahn.

The laundry is in the dryers, kitty cleanup finished, and the bed made. When I come up from the basement, where the humidity is really high, I will relax a bit before I put things away.

JOSEPH is moving right along.

Act Two Dress Rehearsal Tonight.

Mea Culpa.

We finished the Mega Mix blocking (19 music pages) in about 65 minutes...and it looks nice.  It's not perfect, but everyone is having fun.....so I think the audience will, too.

The Benadryl Sleep was everything it should be. I went to bed feeling better, and woke up feeling damned fine indeed... except for one of my rare flare-ups of the diverticulitis that gifts me with its presence once every year or so. Actually, not even that often. But that's of scant comfort when you have it.

Very groggy most of the day and this "cigarette" smell is really getting to me - I have no idea what it is but it's been going on for over a week. I had the guy in the back house come in - he didn't think it smelled like cigarettes but noticed the smell right away. So, Grant's coming tomorrow and we'll see what he thinks, but something is wrong somewhere.

I left work and have just finished having a my regular Combo sub at the local Meconi's Subs (https://www.meconissubs.com/).  Delish!

Damn!  I wish I had thought about Meconi’s while I was having lunch on Tuesday with my cousin at Budd’s Bay.

Found a recipe in one of Mom’s old cookbooks called Soufflé Meat Salad. Two cups of meat and Miracle Whip, plus celery, parsley and onion, all suspended in lemon gelatin.

Avoid it like the plague.

And speaking of OverDrive, I got notice that my library purchased the Kindle version of "Hitler in Los Angeles" that Jane mentioned last week.  I have that on my Kindle now, too.
