Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a successful journey, and now it is time for you to post until the journeying cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AMITY!
-
As of this posting, yesterday is still unlocked and postable. ::) But I'm off to bed. Tonight, my uncle from Germany is visiting and I'm going to my mom's to visit. He'll be here until next Wednesday, so there's plenty of time to visit, but it's fun to visit when visitors first arrive.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Glad to hear of bk's miracle success. AND the licensing deal! All good news.
-
Good morning, all!

I want to know why those damned HHW vibes work for everyone but me. That piece of crap property in Ohio still sits there like so much fish, just as it has since 2007, thanks to my brothers. It will never sell, and my estate will see the money or the banks will end up owning it when we no longer can afford to pay the property taxes.
-
Thatch just threw up. but at least it's not in the area where I walk, thank God.
-
I guess I'm crabby today. Yesterday a friend called and she asked if the property had ever sold, so I've been brooding over that, and then she told me she didn't like Annabelle & Thatch and she couldn't finish reading it; it wasn't as funny as my original stories on Facebook.
Life sucks.
-
So, I sit here pondering my diminishing mortality and my reasons for existence.
-
DR TCB, in summer 1998 or 1999, for my first and only time, I saw Oscar Peterson at a Jazz at Carnegie Hall event. He was wonderful.
-
I have no idea what I'm doing today, none.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Hugs, Elmore.
-
Miracle vibes for BK.
-
I don’t want to stir today.
-
I saw Oscar Peterson play for Ella Fitzgerald. Music doesn’t get much better than that.
-
Congrats to MR BK! I'm glad he called last night.
There is a Mars-Uranus opposition today/tomorrow that messes things up and breaks up our routine.
-
Thanks to everyone for the vibes. We shall see.
-
I'm glad DR GINNY explained what happened at her doctor's office.
Still very strange.
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE.
-
I have a 15% off ENTIRE PURCHASE coupon for OLLIE'S so even though I don't need anything, I'm going to wander over there and see what they have.....
Coupon expires Sunday......
-
BARNUM is singing a solo to himself in his little mirror.
-
Oops.....now he's tossing out cranberries.
-
Since I last posted, I get a note from former DR Jose, and he is coming by for a visit today. I haven't seen him in ages, and I really look forward to seeing him.
-
Good morning, all.
-
A visit from Jose??? Excellent!
-
Happy to hear about the miracle. And yes, many more vibes are needed for all of us. Did DR Jrand71 say something about Uranus acting up again?
-
But in other news, the McRib is back for a short time.
-
T.O.D.
Corned beef of rye.

Sounds nice. Give him an HHW greeting.

{{{HUGS}}} to DR elmore3003!!!

I have had a little miracle of my own. A great medical appointment this morning.
My A1C is dramatically lower, and my doctor has asked me to stop taking two medications, as they are apparently no longer needed. I am quite pleased.

Excellent news.

From DR Singdaw:
....my singing voice was much stronger at choir rehearsal tonight.
Excellent news.
-
I guess that means I'll have to alter my Thanksgiving plans, and not eat this:
-
George I loved the cat elevator video.
-
Except for the bacon good news DR singdaw.
-
Nice story from TCB as were the additional photos from George.
-
DR ELMORE please tell my birthday twin HELLO!
-
Yes DR CHAS SMITH it is true.
Today is a day for an interrupted routine......everyone watch your Uranus!
-
I'm glad DR GINNY explained what happened at her doctor's office.
Still very strange.
Not so strange as you would think.
Now when women get mammograms the place that does them must notify the woman directly with the results as well their doctor. This began in part because some women never heard from their doctor that they had cancer, also in part as a doctor does not need to order the test in order to have one.
-
I like DR DRUXY's choice for the TOD.

CONGRATULATIONS!

When MR BK & former DR CHARLES POGUE were in town - former DR KURT and I took them to the famous Indy Deli Shapiro's!
I had a corned beef on rye and some delicious potato salad - so I loved that.
And MR BK was very interested to see some real original genuine Indiana Jews in their natural habitat.
A BTW - MR BK paid for all four dinners.
-
Bruce, congrats on the miracle happening.
VIBES ALL GOES WELL WITH THE SIGNING!
-
Pastrami on rye
Matzoh ball soup
Stuffed cabbage
Bagel and lox
Potato latkes
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep - was up for thirty minutes at seven-thirty, but thankfully got more sleep.
-
I shall now be on my way to a lunch thing and then picking up a package and then home, James.
-
What I eat at a deli now is very different then what I ate when I was young.
-
What I order will begin with which treat I am craving the most, an egg bagel, rye bread with seeds, or challah.
-
I might order lox and cream cheese, a soft boiled egg with a toasted egg bagel, or an egg salad sandwich on challah.
-
Sometimes I am a bad vegetarian and have a turkey sandwich on rye with mayo. Coleslaw on the side or on the sandwich, depending how good it is.
-
I’ll have what Elmore is having, but my favorite of all is that kosher dill pickle. Can be a whole, a spear or a slice. That really sends me.
-
This morning I asked Alexa to play Winter Was Warm. She complied with Victoria Clark’s version, which she said was sung by “various artists.” I asked for it again this afternoon and was told it was available on Amazon Prime only. Da noive.
-
So I played Jodi Benson’s version on my iphone. Far better version.
-
Former DR Jose just left. It was really nice to see him and catch up.
-
Just before he showed up, Shon from Dr Blacksburg's office called to tell me that the health insurance problems should be over within 48 hours, when everything should be approved.
-
BK, I think you need this book!

Great news, Larry!!

How could I forget my NEW pickle.

Back from whatever it was I just did.

It was supposed to be a lunch with this guy who bought all the Bagley CDs (thus far) and asked if I'd deliver rather than ship. So, I arrived at the appointed time to find him already having eaten with two others. They left, he asked if I wanted to order food, his treat, but I wasn't about to sit there and eat with him having finished. So, we had a nice chat and I came back to the Valley, picked up some packages, and now I'm home. I got a discount thing from Door Dash and they now deliver Lucille's Barbecue, so I ordered fried chicken breasts in country gravy just because it sounded like a cozy and warm dinner. But it won't be here for almost forty minutes.
-
That's weird. The guy should have been more upfront.
-
Good night, friends.
-
'night
-
Went out tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday.
-
We went to the Mexican place where I took Jane and Keith when they came to town, La Fonda on Main.
-
It has a beautiful patio, which we sat out on. The temperature dropped a few degrees, but we were all in sweaters or jackets, so it was comfortable.
-
I had some great fish tacos and a heft load of chips with guacamole and salsa.
-
I also had my margarita. It disappeared much too quickly.
-
Gail had churros for her birthday dessert. Very nice.
-
Her sister, Anne, was there. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in the past week. Stage zero.
-
I didn't know there was such a thing as stage zero.
-
the doctor believes that they can take care of it strictly with a lumpectomy, no chemo or radiation.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
The sisters both believe it was detected so early because of their annual mammograms.
-
I'm now at home, trying to relax.
-
If one can relax to a horror movie.
-
I'm watching the new Invisible Man with Elisabeth Moss. It's really quite effective.
-

Good for them!
-
Hi, George.
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
What's your favorite Elisabeth Moss role?
-
Gratuitous post No. 99!
-
I liked Moss most in Mad Men, I think.
-
But The Invisible Man is really effective.
-
And I want to see her as Shirley Jackson.
-
Ten minutes left in this movie and I've got to get to bed.
-
I want to wake up at around 2 a.m. to see if I can see any of the lunar eclipse.
-
So, it's off to bed.
-
Good night, all.
-
Hi, George.
Hi, John.
-
I liked Moss most in Mad Men, I think.
I agree...but mostly because that's pretty much the only thing I've seen her in except for the short-lived TV Series, Invasion.
-
I've never seen The Handmaid's Tale.
-
I want to wake up at around 2 a.m. to see if I can see any of the lunar eclipse.
It's been raining all day around here. :-\
-
The fried chicken breasts with country gravy were pretty tasty. The mac-and-cheese was ordinary, and I didn't really care for the biscuits, although I ate them, of course. There was a little salad, but I only had two bites - didn't care for the ranch. But those chicken breasts will probably make me a return customer.
-
Finished with my viewing, and listening to some Malcolm Arnold music.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
I guess I'm crabby today. Yesterday a friend called and she asked if the property had ever sold, so I've been brooding over that, and then she told me she didn't like Annabelle & Thatch and she couldn't finish reading it; it wasn't as funny as my original stories on Facebook.

What a bitch. Such positive encouragement for a friend!

DR TCB, in summer 1998 or 1999, for my first and only time, I saw Oscar Peterson at a Jazz at Carnegie Hall event. He was wonderful.
And from everything I have heard, a wonderful human being.
-
The 2015 CD Kelly released (3 or 4 discs as I remember) called OSCAR WITH LOVE is a wonderful tribute to Oscar. It contains all music written by Oscar or for him, a lot never previously released.
-
It contains a slew of artists from Chick Corea to Michel Legrand.
-
Whoops, one more.
-
Page five!
-

-
Let's move on ...
That is great to hear.
-
Tomorrow, the family is going to my mom's house to visit with my uncle who's visiting from Germany.
-
I'll work half a day and leave around 1:00.
-
I gotta tell you. And I have.
-
Oh yes, I have.
-
Why I oughta...
-
And I have.
-
Oh yes, I have.
-
George, is there a Phase 10 game, and now a Phase 20 game?
-
George, is there a Phase 10 game, and now a Phase 20 game?
Nope. There's just Phase 10...well, at least, as far as I know. ::)
-
But you never know. ;)
-
The moon was partially eclipsed. And I am off to sleep again.
-
George, is there a Phase 10 game, and now a Phase 20 game?
Nope. There's just Phase 10...well, at least, as far as I know. ::)
A week or so ago, you said you guys played Phase 20, and I didn’t know if you were serious, or just being funny.
