And the word of the day is: AMBROSIAL!
I hope your body gets to feeling better, Elmore. I'm sorry you're hurting.
Elmore, I posted one on Facebook. That way I can control who sees it.
DR JohnG, was everything in your wallet? Money, etc? I'm happy it was found.
A new baking project today. Blame Jose.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
If the other theeder (the one where we're playing Wreck the Halls right now) follows through with announcing THEIR season at our closing performance next weekend, I'll have another announcement for 2022. Isn't that exciting? Can you wait a whole week for it? Is your breath appropriately bated?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mega Vibes & Xylophones for tonight's Kritzerland Holiday show! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everything that happened to the left side of my body in August 2013 - pulled groin muscle, discomfort in standing upright - is now happening to the right side of my body, and my walking is getting more painful and difficult. I don't know how long I can cope with this.
Anne Rice has died.
Here's to a great BK & Co. Kritzerland show tonight!
One of our theeders has finally announced their 2022 season, so I am now at liberty to divulge that I will be MD'ing and playing The Streets of New York next December.
I'll take those prayers for Rosemary's baby - especially for convincing the pianist I've asked that he really needs to say yes to joining me at theivoriesplastics. (For those who don't know, it's a 1963 Off-Broadway show that's scored for two pianos. And there ain't no other way to do it.)
Watched the first 40 minutes or so. Sher is excellent. Harriet Walter as Lady MacBeth owns this production. She's one of the best I've ever seen, reptilian, with ice flowing in her veins.
That was a quote from the chickens belonging to the sister of DR GEORGE.
I am doing the laundry today.
My sister is finishing the cleaning of the kitchen and small bathroom at our uncle's house. She has found a LOT of spices in the cabinet and a large quantity of tobacco on top of the refrigerator..... :D
She is going to bring a trash bag of stuff over so we can put it in the trash tomorrow. Unless of course it is just something she is misidentifying.
If that is the case, I will turn my porch light on and have a sale on wacky weed....first come first served. 8)
However, knowing my uncle....it is probably Toe-bakky. :P
I broke it into pieces and served it as cookie pieces.
I shall shortly be on my way to Vitello's for sound check and show.
I've been listening to the new 2-disc Sondheim Unplugged (volume 1).
42 songs from the entirety of SS's career, sung simply to piano accompaniment. The tracks have various degrees of success. The piano is closely miked, claustrophobic, and occasionally not entirely in tune. It's kind of an ugly sound.
I enjoyed some of the tracks, but as a whole the effort is very uneven. Too bad!
In 2012 during Hurricane Isaac, a baby squirrel fell from her nest. Her rescuers named her Jill and now she's an Instagram star. She sleeps with a tiny teddy bear and I love her.
Hello my friends! I am alive, but not particularly well. I didn’t have a second surgery. Okay hey got everything done during the first surgery. I may get moved to the hospital’s rehab center, rather than a regular nursing home. I should know more tomorrow. The break was pretty bad (compound and all that), but they are keeping me doped up. I don’t have anything to type on besides my tiny little ephone. I miss you all, even those who don’t miss me ❤️❤️.
Entering a key deadline week for work. Pray for Rosemary's baby!
Here we go
Yes, it was delicious. But so tender that the parts fell apart trying to assemble it.
When we arrived, I was shocked to see two yellow irises in full bloom. Odd for December. They smelled incredible.
These represent bluebonnets and were scattered across s real bluebonnet field.
Back from the Kritzerland show - went very well - a little weird at the start for reasons I'll explain in the notes. We all had a blast. After, Robert Yacko and a young friend of his and I went downstairs after for a bite to eat. And now I'm home, having some yummilicious chocolate bundt cake that Karen Staitman made.
Has anyone heard from TCB?
