Well, you've read the notes, the notes were pre-owned, and now it is time for you to post until the pre-owned cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AVOUCH!
-
That's a very nice looking car, BK! Hope it gives you MANY years of fun and safe driving!
-
So, this could either be very good, or very not good: FOX Entertainment to Develop Berkeley Breathed's BLOOM COUNTY as an Animated Comedy (https://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwtv/article/FOX-Entertainment-to-Develop-Berkeley-Breatheds-BLOOM-COUNTY-as-an-Animated-Comedy-20220215).
I'll have to tell my sister about this. She LOVED the Bloom County comic strip.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept in until 6:00, and I am moving very slowly.
-
Good morning to all
-
Congrats on the new car Bruce.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I’m up and at ‘em earlier than usual because I must drive down to Norwalk this morning to pick up some music.
Then, back home, I must finish programming my keyboard for other music.
Then this evening I have my monthly dinner meeting with my director.
-
Good morning, all.
-
BK, do you name your cars?
-
Meeting a friend for lunch today. We used to work together when I lived in Florida.
-
That’s about all that’s on the agenda.
-
I'm awake!
-
Good morning, y'all! (That's how we say it down here in South Carolina).
Y'all means "you all" or "all of you".
-
In case y'all were wondering:
-
It is already 70 degrees and the sun is shining.
-
Last night, I started a novella called Gwendy’s Magic Feather, a sequel to Gwendy’s Button Box, written by Stephen King and Richard Chizmar. I had liked the first book a lot. This one was written only by Chizmar and I knew nothing about it until seeing a review of the third one, again written by King and Chizmar.
In this volume, our young heroine has grown up to become an AOC-type congresswoman. It’s very entertaining.

In case y'all were wondering:
This is so Annabelle!

Does she take plastic?

I forgot to mention that the Lunatic Emailer is off his meds again and sending his repetitive, dreadful emails to everyone on his "conspiracy against me" list of victims bored silly by his serious need for psychological healthcare. One of these days - since he's refused every request to delete me from these rants - he's going to really get my goat, and I will out him on every site I'm on.
-
In case y'all were wondering:
This is so Annabelle!
Does she take plastic?
And paypal.
-
Good morning, friends.

I'm pleased to announce that JOHN IRELAND, my one-person stage play, is now available for purchase in both paperback and Kindle editions via Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SKVYS3R
“They told me I was being just another temperamental actor…” – John Ireland
John Ireland was a fine actor, who had many opportunities to go right to the top of the motion picture business.
He co-starred with John Wayne in RED RIVER (1948) and got an Academy Award nomination for ALL THE KING’S MEN (1949).
After that, he continued to work in movies and on television, but the important roles did not come his way. Powerful people, like Howard Hawks, Darryl Zanuck and Jack Warner saw that that didn’t happen.
What was Ireland’s problem?
Simply, he let his “little head” dictate when he should have listened to his “big head”.
JOHN IRELAND, Michael B. Druxman’s one-person stage play, joins the actor at two points in his career. First, when he’s about to finish his role in the Kirk Douglas film, SPARTACUS, then later when he is filming the pilot for a new TV series.
One man; one set.

I must drive down to Norwalk
Where I lived from 1971 to 1988!
-
So thrilled about your new car, bk. It was fun to read about the process.
-
~~~NEW CAR COME HOME VIBES~~~ for DR George!!
-
I'm experiencing a lot of the same latency issues with HHW yesterday and today that DR Jane was having.
-
TWO!!
-
Congrats to MR BK on his Mercedes McCambridge.
My Smart Car - Mr Smarty - is of course also made by MB. I am still getting used to the led read out of everything on the speedometer - no gauges or lights.....so modern!
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE this morning.....almost done!
-
Den Mother Miss Susan Gordon was on The Donna Reed Show this morning as a young girl in a hospital in Hawaii.
By the end of the episode she was miraculously cured and could walk!
-
High winds today and BIG rain tonight....we shall see.
Have you ever noitriced you only show up here to pimp your latest work of art?
-
I bought a couple of New York Strip steaks. I looked for the McCormick's Steakhouse spice that DR JOHN G mentioned.
Couldn't find it, but I found the McCormick's Montreal Steak spice, so I am trying that.
-
It's a Christmas miracle!
-
Be careful, DR Jrand71. You might just start speaking French spontaneously!
-
Wednesday afternoon greetings! It's very windy here in SW Ohio and a couple of pieces of siding were just ripped from the west exterior of our house. It's in an awkward spot that requires getting up on the family room roof, so Richard has called our handyman to see if he can fix it before the rain arrives.
-
Looks like I've been away from here for several days and have missed some things.
First of all, condolences to DR JRand on the loss of your cousin.
-
Congratulations to BK on the new-to-you automobile!
-
Continued {{{{{hugs}}}}} to DR Elmore!
I must drive down to Norwalk
Where I lived from 1971 to 1988!
That almost mirrors my years in LA (1972-89) before moving to Danbury.
-
After which, I also lived in Weston, Bethel, White Plains, Harrison, and New Canaan.
-
I'm up, I'm up - just under nine hours of sleep - could have slept at least another hour but the people across the street have a big cement truck there that's been grinding away and it's rather like it's in the house with me. So, up I got and within two minutes of up I got, the noise stopped. However, if I go back to bed, it will start up.
-
In a bit, I'll see if those YouTube tutorials work.
-
Learning all manner of things. I thought it was odd that I had to use the fob to start the car and as it turns out, it IS odd. It's supposed to have a keyless GO button, just like my old car. I should never have to use the fob for anything. I'm about to test out the lock/unlock function sans fob - we'll see if that works. Also going to get a new battery for the fob, just so I have a fresh one in there.
-
The vid I watched had a link to Amazon where I bought the GO button - an official Mercedes button, so that will be here Friday and that will take care of that.
-
Exciting!
-
Thank you DR GINNY.
-
My sister and I are preparing an asset inventory that is due this month in case anyone asks for it.
It's practically done - but I am sure the circling sharks will have questions.
-
That’s the stuff.
-
Had lunch on the intracoastal waterway with a friend I hadn’t seen in seven years. It was like no time had passed.
-
I will be careful DR singdaw.
The Montreal steak seasoning was most excellent....especially compared to the Dollar (25) Tree stuff.
-
~~~NEW CAR COME HOME VIBES~~~ for DR George!!
Thanks, Singdaw!

I think my new car will still have keys. The higher level (meaning more expensive) trims (whatever that means) have keyless fob options, but mine doesn't, which is fine with me.
-
Today was an infuriating day at Lenox Hill. By 12:45 I was sp
itting, throwing F-bombs, and being generally obnoxious. And why, you ask. Well, let me tell you.
-
I have taken today off from work. I'm going to my sister's to help her daughter with getting her chicken coop ready for two new (to her) chickens that she's getting from a neighbor.
Yippee skippee. :P
;)

PAGE THREE DANCE!!
-
By my appointment time, I need a full bladder, so I begin drinking a 17 oz bottle of water as soon as I get in the car. Just before the car arrived, Shon, Dr Blacksburg's assistant called and told me the doctor wanted to see me before my treatment at 12:20. These session generally last around 15-20 minutes so I got in the car, started drinking my water, and got to Lenox Hill; by 11:40. I went straight to Blacksburg's office. I saw Nick, Dr Blacksburg's nurse around 12:50, and he told me to wait for thje doctor.
-
At 12:40 - an hour later, Nick said the doctor was tied up with a patient, and I thanked him for wasting an hour of my time. I went down to radiation and waited another 30 minutes before they finally asked me to change into a gown. By this point I was afraid I was going to pee everywhere, but we finished at 1:30, I changed back into my clothes, found a restroom, and gt up to the lobby around 2:50. At least the car was there and waiting for me.
-
If I had gone in to Lenox Hill and followed my usual routine, I would have been finished by 1:15, and maybe I might have seen Dr Bl;acksburg and still made it to the lobby in time for y 1:50 pickup time.
-
Turns out GO button doesn't work in this motor car, so cancelled the purchase. Small steps. I did, however, program the garage door opener, so the car can now open the garage - that was MAJOR for someone like me :)
-
From Bruce:
I cannot tell you how great it is to not have to leave the car running for twenty minutes so I can drive somewhere - to not have to worry if it's locking properly or if the battery will drain. It's like being FREE.
It is a relief not to worry you will be stuck someplace, and that you are FREE :)
-
I'm experiencing a lot of the same latency issues with HHW yesterday and today that DR Jane was having.
I am also experiencing it today. I find when our internet is iffy, HHW is always the most sluggish site I go to.

I am surprised you will have a key and not a keyless.
-
The nice thing about a keyless is that you canNOT lock your key in the car.

I miss that option. The option is on the car but the condo gates, for safety reasons, will not work unless we use the condo fobs.
-
The wind is whipping up a fury out there and carrying rain with it.
-
A good time to be indoors.
-
We were treated to a little show today. The man in the gray T-shirt was cutting up fish fresh off the boat. He had the attention of several fine feathered friends, including this one, who came quite close to us.
-
And again
-
Thanks for the photos, DR John G.
-
The wind is whipping
Down the plain? Are you sure you're not in Oklahoma?
-
Only 4 more times DR ELMORE.
-
Nice photos DR JOHN G.
-
Tomorrow we will meet a realtor at the Big House.....and get that rolling....
Everybody makes money!!! That's my motto.
And somebody gets a house!
-
We finished our asset inventory that was to be finished next week. So any of the heirs who requests said inventory from the attorney will be able to get it.
-
Went and had a patty melt and fries at Art's.
-
Frustrating day in certain ways. Taking a break from said frustrations.
-
Wow, great photos DR John. Where were you for this wonderful view with entertainment?
-
Good evening.
-
Hi DR Laura.
-
I've been busy all day, and I can't think of a single thing I've accomplished.
-
;D
-
Wow, great photos DR John. Where were you for this wonderful view with entertainment?
Lunch on the patio on the water.
-
I've been busy all day, and I can't think of a single thing I've accomplished.
I spend some months like that.
-
Onward!
-
Four!
-
Elmore, I hope your last four treatments go better.
-
I’ve started watching Mass, a hard-to-watch character drama about two couples involved in a school shooting. One group are the parents of the shooter, the others are parents of one victim.
The two mothers, Martha Plimpton and Ann Dowd, are spectacular. The hurt and anger and shame and horror are all there, open wounds.
-
Both women should have been nominated for Oscars.
-
'night
-
Early morning tomorrow. Have to be up at 6 a.m. and on the road at 7 a.m.
Going to bed two hours earlier than usual.
G'night y'all!
-
Just realized the song being played at the beginning of Mass is the hymn, O, Come Little Children. How perfect.
-
That film sounds difficult but compelling, DR John G.
-
:)

I know. Blame Subaru!
-
Gratuitous Post #100!
-
The nice thing about a keyless is that you canNOT lock your key in the car.
I didn't know that, but it makes sense...from what I've learned about key fobs.

Cool pelican pictures, John!

Elmore, I hope your last four treatments go better.
~~~SUPER DITTO!!~~~
-
Well, my sister and niece appreciated my help this afternoon.
-
I hope they always do, DR George.
-
I helped move a couple of big bags of bird feed from the garage to the coop so that my niece could put them in a sealable plastic container.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Then, we had to wait for my sister's boyfriend to arrive so that we could move a kitchen island from one side of the garage to the other.
-
It was heavy!
-
Fortunately, we had two piano dollies (dollys?) to use, but even lifting the thing to get it on them was fairly difficult. :P
-
But we got it done, and my sister didn't need me anymore...well, until she'll need me for the next thing. ::)
-
;)
-
So, I went to Panda Express and had too much food, but I read a couple of chapters of my book too, so that was good.
-
Then on a whim, I decided to get my hairs cut...all of them!
-
I checked in online at the Great Clips that was just across the parking lot from Panda Express, but my appointment wouldn't be for another half hour, so I drove to Costco to walk around and waste some time.
-
I went back to Great Clips when there was about 15 minutes left, but it didn't take that long for them to take me in and cut the hairs.
-
I think she did a pretty good job.
-
So, the cut was only $20...what's an appropriate tip?
-
I tipped $4.00. I hope it wasn't too little an amount.
-
PAGE FIVE HAIR CUT DANCE!!
-
;D
-
A lull. ::)
-
I hope Tom is doing well.
-
So, for the first time since late last year, I have opened my skylight!
-
That'll help circulate the air up and out of my place more than it has all winter.
-
I like my place, especially my bedroom a little cooler, but not when it's too cold. :P
-
It's certainly a little cooler now with it open than it has been, but it's not so cold that I'm uncomfortable, yet.
-
I'll close it before I go to bed because it'll get a lot colder overnight.
-
Tomorrow, I'm leaving work early to go to the first production meeting (that at least I'm going to) for The Bold, the Young and the Murdered.
-
That'll be fun.
-
Sorry, that I am so late to the party tonight.
-
I have been on the phone with my friend, Kelly Peterson.
-
We got busy chatting.
-
At about 10:30 I flipped over to HULU, and there at the top was a documentary entitled OSCAR PETERSON BLACK + WHITE.
-
I had never heard of it, so I texted Kelly to see if this was something she had produced.
-
So, she called me up to tell me about it.
-
She didn’t produce it, but she did consult with the director.
-
She didn’t tell me what she thought of it, but asked me to let her know what I think of it.
-
BK, if you can access HULU, you might want to watch it. It has a lot of jazz greats interviewed in it.
-
Hi, Tom.
