Well, you've read the notes, the notes were notes that were, and now it is time for you to post until the cows that were come home.
-
And the word of the day is: DESCRY!
-
Topic of the Day: I'm watching The Late Show with Stephen Colbert right now. Margaret Brennan is pretty interesting, and quite knowledgeable.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I am most concerned about my financial state. I'm not getting work, and I am running out of money. I applied for something the musicians union Local 802 called "No Musician Left Behind," and in January I get a check from them. There was no formation, no explanation for hopw the program worked, and I have no idea if there will be another check this month, I've sent emails and made phopneccalls to 802 and had no response.
I only know that at the moment, unless something good happens, I am screwed for good.
-
I hate this anxiety and worry.
-
DR Laura, I wish you could drive me to and from radiation. The visits would certainly cheer me up.
-
DR Jeanne, I hope that I have reached the nadir of Access-a-Ride errors yesterday. I'd love the last three sessions to go off well.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning to all I hope everyone has a great weekend
-
I plan to watch the john wick trilogy this weekend
-
Holy cats! It's Friday..AGAIN!
Where do these weeks GO?
-
Good morning, all y'all!
-
They do this on beds and sofas, too!
-
Good morning, all.

I have one of those supremely annoying skin splits on the tip of my right index finger. It was hell playing piano yesterday, and it's even more sensitve right now, typing this post with a healing cream and band-aid on it. It's a good thing I have three days before the next rehearsal.
I get one of these every now and then, mostly in winter, and they're HELL for musicians. A bass playing friend gets them, and I can't even imagine that. This is the first for me that's in such an unnegotiable location as that all-important fingertip.
-
Yesterday was plenty of other HELL, of course, what with packing and loading everything, getting it into the car, then unloading and setting up at the venue. But they are SO supportive and professional at that college that in the end it's always a pleasure.
-
TOD
Nothing these past few days, but I look forward to relaxing with some good watching and listening this evening and again tomorrow.
-
I plan to watch the john wick trilogy this weekend
Really enjoyed the first two parts.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Dickon says that when a thing is wick, it has a light about it.
-
Continued {{{hugs}}} and ~~~VIBES~~~ for you, DR elmore3003.
-
Dickon says that when a thing is wick, it has a light about it.
Who or what is Dickon?
-
I must have chased DR slapshot away. He was here one minute and gone the next.

White cotton gloves and Vaseline. Before bedtime soak your hands in a lot of Vaseline or Aquaphore, put on white cotton gloves and sleep on it. Works great.

Who or what is Dickon?
He's a character in The Secret Garden.

Has everyone seen this weekend offer?

I might or might not have time to take advantage of it this weekend, but thanks for the heads up.

I love Newspapers.com
Too bad I have a subscription and can't look for free.....but that's okay.

It will take a couple of days, but do it regularly while you're playing a gig.

Super vibes today for DR ELMORE in all areas.

Thanks! After yesterday, I could sure use 'em.

DITTO THAT!

DR Elmore -- do you have any contacts at Concord Theatricals who it would be appropriate to share?
I'll also find out who our rep is in connection with our license.
I need someone to appeal to for an advance copy of the score to STREETS OF NEW YORK. I have twice viewed it in their handy "digital perusal" app (five bucks for two weeks access), but it's online and slow and too small to work with, let alone attempt to read on a music stand. I imagine they'll say no, but I gotta try. (If only it was MTI...)
-
Good morning!
-
Vibes for DR elmore.
-
Congrats on your new car purchase, BK!
-
Because I have a subscription to HBO, I am told I also have HBO MAX....
So last night I watched the first episode of PEACEMAKER starring Mr. John Cena. It was pretty funny....so I decided to watch the other four available episodes - but I have to pay for those......for some reason.....so I guess I will never see them.
But I like the opening title sequence. It makes me laugh.

Secret Garden.
-
DR Singdaw, are you watching never before aired episodes of FATHER BROWN, or new episodes to you?
-
DR Chas I hope your supremely annoying skin splits heal quickly.
-
DR Jane - new ones are being released lately, one per week, on Acorn TV.
-
It’s in the low 80s today and lovely.
-
Just out of the pool.
-
I wish this didn’t have to end quite so soon.
-
I still have to make another citrus rustic cake. Third one since I’ve been here. They just sort of magically disappear.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
DR Ron Pulliam - sorry about your eyes. (I think it was your eyes?) Just don't rub avocados on them. You might develop guacoma.
-
Finger Vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
-
Speaking of Alan Tudyk as some were yesterday....this is one of my favorites scenes of him as a clueless PC television exec.

Thanks for the AAR vibes. They were about as worthless as the vibes to sell that damned Ohio property.
My ride was scheduled for 11:26 a.m.
At 11:01, I called; the ride will be on time.
At 11:21 I called; the driver will be there in 10 minutes.
At 11:33 I called; the driver will be there in 5 minutes.
At 11:45 I called; the driver will be there in 5 minutes.
As I was standing out on 82nd Street, my neighbor Steve Williford came out of the building; he's been livingh in LA, and I hadn't seen him in years. I told him I was getting really pissed at AAR and I was going to wallk to the corder for a taxi. He volunteered to do that, he walked to the corner of Broadway, and returned in a taxi. I in the meantime called again; the driver will be there in 5 minutes.
As he helped me into the taxi, he gave me $10 "for the taxi ride," God bless him. The taxi got me to Lenox Hill by 12:15. At 12:03 the AAR driver caled to tell me he was outside my building. I told him plenty, none of it nice, since the ass was not just jerking me around but lying to the AAR dispatchers.
-
However, the driver on the retunr trip was fantastic! One of the best I've had. I was home by 1:45.
-
DR ChasSmith, sorry, but the only person I know at Concord is the one in charge of my royalties.
-
Finger vibes, ChasSmith.
-
Two more, Elmore. Only two more.
-
Dickon says that when a thing is wick, it has a light about it.
Who or what is Dickon?
He's a character in The Secret Garden.
Head slap! OF COURSE! Brain fog is real.
-
Clearly the result of a good solid GOP educational system.
-
DR Ron Pulliam - sorry about your eyes. (I think it was your eyes?) Just don't rub avocados on them. You might develop guacoma.
My eyes? My eyes? To what are you referring?
-
Silly me! There was a discussion of eye problems yesterday at HHW, and i mistakenly attributed the malady to you. Going back under my rock now.
-
THREE!!!

My favorite exercise is a cross between a lunge and a crunch.
I call it lunch.
-
I like that one, too, DR signdaw.
-
Did you notice that I gave you a new name.
-
Enjoy the weekend DR ELMORE!
-
Papers are signed - now it rests with the Carpenter Real Estate folks to bring in the $$$ for the house.
It goes online on Monday!
-
I am thinking that I will have a Marie Callender Chicken Alfredo Bowl for dinner......it is fine for my uneducated palate.
If, however, your palate has even a GED, you may want to avoid same.
-
Had a loooong two-hour Zoom with David Wechter - we're probably twenty pages away from finishing now.
-
Went to Gelson's for Diet Coke - got two onion rolls and some tuna for food.
-
Came home, made two tuna sandwiches - excellent. And now, about to have another Zoom with some chap in England.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
Enjoy the weekend DR ELMORE!
Three days! You, too.
-
DR Jane - new ones are being released lately, one per week, on Acorn TV.
Thank you. We need to get caught up.
-
I still have to make another citrus rustic cake. Third one since I’ve been here. They just sort of magically disappear.
These cakes must be extra special.

Nice! I still haven't gotten mine. ::) Costco is selling tests in 5-packs, but I don't think they last that long.
-
We were pleasantly surprised at the long expiration date.
-
DR George check your mail when you get home.

-
We are going to watch Father Brown.
-
'night
-
Took a sunset cruise today. Spectacular birding.
This is an osprey nest with the bird getting ready for takeoff
-
The takeoff
-
And the sunset
-
The originals don’t appear so blurry to me.
-
Gratuitous post 100!
-
Good night, all.
-
Slow day, today?
-
Where is everybody?
-
I guess Fridays are always slow.
-
But not this slow!
-
Today I watched OSCAR PETERSON BLACK + WHITE
-
I enjoyed most of it.
-
I thInk the producer / director, almost used his own name in the credits than he used Oscar’s.
-
A lot of talking heads in the film.
-
Herbie Habcock, Billy Joel, Jon Batiste; and, of course, Kelly
-
I got very weepy at the end.
-
I would recommend it to anyone with Hulu.
-
Safe travel vibes for John G.
-
DR George check your mail when you get home.
I always do! ;D
Assuming you mean snail-mail, I only had a package with my prescriptions from Kaiser. Nothing else.
-
Then I watched RAISE THE TITANIC…..again.
-
Where is everybody?
I'm finally home.
-
We played three games of Phase 10, and I won NONE of them! >:(
-
I first saw that movie with Kelly’s Uncle Jim in Manhattan in 1980.
-
We both loved the book and couldn’t wait to see the film.
-
And I received no package or letter from Jane.
-
There's always tomorrow. ;D
-
Page five.
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
Page five.
What he said. ;)
-
There's always tomorrow. ;D
Who are you? Scarlett O’Hara?
-
So...this happened at work today:
-
I don’t know what I will watch this weekend.
-
I had my glasses in my pocket, and when I pulled them out of my pocket, the arm must've caught on a hem on the inside of said pocket and made the hinge bend.
-
It didn't feel like it was bending, so I didn't notice it until they were out of my pocket and I saw that the arm was bent! :o
-
So...this happened at work today:
You killed Wally Cox!
-
When I tried to bend it back, it broke...and it's obvious that it's not a fixable break.
-
So...this happened at work today:
You killed Wally Cox!
Sounds like the title of something! ;)
-
One more post.
-
And then another post.
-
Fortunately, I have my bifocals, so I can wear those until my appointment in May or June.
-
So...this happened at work today:
You killed Wally Cox!
Sounds like the title of something! ;)
You are too young to know who that was.
-
The lenses in my bifocals are actually a newer prescription than what are in these glasses.
-
He used to be on the original HOLLYWOOD SQUARES.
-
So...this happened at work today:
You killed Wally Cox!
Sounds like the title of something! ;)
You are too young to know who that was.
I'm not that young! I know who Wally Cox was.
-
I've read a couple of articles that said that Marlon Brando was actually in love with Wally Cox.
-
Don't know if it's true, of course.
-
I've read a couple of articles that said that Marlon Brando was actually in love with Wally Cox.
They were “roommates” in New York.
-
Marlon was also in love with Rita Moreno.
-
Which was difficult when he was so in love with himself.
-
Which was difficult when he was so in love with himself.
That definitely could make things difficult. :D
-
When does your show open?
