Well, you've read the notes, the notes were assembled, and now it is time for you to post until the assembled cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MILIEU!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
:)
-
Good morning, all!
-
I am moving quite slowly this morning. I stayed in bed about 45 minutes longer than usual, because I was feeling lazy. I'm in a much better mood this weekend than I was most of last week, and Im very very happy7 to report it.
-
Today I must have a long telephonic conversation with the gentleman sponsoring this possible recording project, and I need to begin budgets for two recordings. The sooner the proposal is in, the sooner we'll know if it's going to happen.
-
DR George, I'm happy your show is going well.
-
Good morning to all and have a great week
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning, all.
-
What a crazy damned weekend.
Last trip to the mail room today!
It's been a good run - for me, at least. I say it that way because out of everyone in the mail room, I'm the one who really loves the material, and my first opportunity to learn and play Mr. Loesser's notes has been most gratifying.
-
Today I must have a long telephonic conversation with the gentleman sponsoring this possible recording project, and I need to begin budgets for two recordings. TYe sooner the proposal is in, the sooner we'll know if it's going to happen.
BIG BIG BIG vibes for it all to come together properly.

Corvette? I loved her so much in The Time Machine!
EDIT: I should like to remind the class that we do not allow groaning at haineshisway.com.

Incredible.

Happy Sunday! There's a new Broadway Radio Show for your listening pleasure. I had a wonderful conversation with singer Spencer Day about his new album of all show tunes. It was a fun and interesting chat and his new album, Broadway By Day, is terrific! Give it a listen:

Re those photos:
How do these incredible people manage this without even having a carrier for their beloved pets?
It's almost too much to think about.
-
Well, I must take my leave. Back this evening. Vibes to all!
-
Happy Sunday, everyone.
-
My phone rang at 8:30 a.m., and I grimaced as I got out of bed -- only to find out that I could get out without much pain at all.
I am not healed, but it is easier today than it has been.
A guy recommended to me by family members stopped by shortly after 10 a.m. to survey my house exterior to see what needs to be done to scrape, sand, and repaint all the wood trim. It's a big job, but he seems reliable. Gave me a written estimate. He works alone, so it will take some time. I just need to get this started.
-
The phone call was my cousin Debra asking me to lunch. BBQ chicken is the bill of fare. I gladly accepted.
-
I have church in just under 30 minutes, and I will be leaving the service a bit early in order to be at Debra's by noon, or shortly after.
-
Just a bit of humor...eggsactly what we all need!
-
Finally stirring. Not a great night of sleep.
-
Spring is trying its best. Today’s high is 82, but Tuesday’s high is said to be 49.
-
Life on a seesaw.

Let’s move on …
-
Two!
-
Re those photos:
How do these incredible people manage this without even having a carrier for their beloved pets?
It's almost too much to think about.
Some of the photos show carriers, and perhaps in some cases the pet owner never thought he or she would need one or maybe could not afford one.
-
:)
Aww.
-
Re those photos:

I have been wondering that. Cats jump out of your arms too easily. I expect, as I did with my cats, you hang on to them very tight.
-
We never had cat carriers until we needed them to fly from Los Angeles to New Jersey. I flew with the three cats while Keith drove the two dogs. We never flew a pet again. Fortunately they did arrive safely.
-
I have a Zoom baby shower today. There should be about 45 people attending. This should be interesting.
-
I barely slept last night and my eyes are bothering me more than usual. I hope with all those people I won't be very visible ;D
-
This was my actual Wordle #260 on 3/6 (shortly after midnight this morning):

:)

DR George, I'm happy your show is going well.
Thanks, Larry!

Matinee vibes for DR GEORGE and DR CHAS SMITH!

REPORTED YESTERDAY:
After 728 days, or two days shy of exactly two years, Indiana no longer is operating under a governor-declared statewide public health emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gov. Eric Holcomb on Thursday signed into law House Enrolled Act 1001, which includes the components the Republican said needed to be written into statute for him to immediately terminate his executive order identifying the coronavirus as an ongoing threat to the health of Hoosiers, and bring to a close an unprecedented period in the state's history.
Among other provisions, the new law enables Indiana to still receive enhanced health care and food assistance funding from the federal government, and authorizes voluntary administration of the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11.
Lawmakers also are advancing a separate proposal allowing out-of-state medical personnel to continue working at Indiana health facilities.
-
Good news from DR ELMORE - I phone conference vibes!
-
DR JANE enjoy the ZOOM shower!
-
After midnight here:
Heavy rain, thunderstorms, possible tornadoes.
And then it's headed for DR GINNY.
-
And tonight OUTLANDER starts a new season.

Rest in peace dear Anastasia Yalanskaya. You are a super champ to me!
She was killed yesterday, just outside Kiev, as she delivered supplies of animal food to a dog shelter that was without food for 3 days
The car she was in was shot by Russians.
Yalanskaya stayed behind in Kiev to volunteer as everyone fled around her . She was 26.

Up from a nap.

Sunday afternoon greetings! Just figured out that I haven't posted here in a week. Didja miss me?
-
I have no reason, good or bad, for not posting. Rest assured, I did at least look in here every day. Guess I just haven't had much to say lately.

You're not going to change your name to Lurker Ginny, are you?
-
Yes we missed you DR GINNY.
-
Thanks for the links DR ELMORE.
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of needed sleep - but, the day is pretty much done.
-
I hope other states follow Indiana's lead. As I've repeatedly said, we never hear about the positive news from the media, but let there be a spike of ten cases, then fear and panic all over again. Cases are down to the lowest they've ever been from what I understand. There is no need to carry this on as we're about to enter year three of it. Everyone can do what they feel comfortable doing in terms of masking and whatever else makes them comfortable.
-
San Antonio has two major seasons: Christmas and Fiesta.
I bought my first Fiesta medal today, in support of the striking members of the San Antonio Symphony, and I got invited to a Fiesta event.
-
I guess it's Fiesta time!
-
Thanks, DRs John G and JRand. No name change and I'll try to post more often instead of just lurking.
-
Well, that was tense for a bit! :o
-
One of the actors jumped a few lines, but a cue was within those lines, so the order of the light cues were off for a bit.
-
Then, during the first murder, the lights were up too high (they're supposed to be in the dark) and the audience could see the murderer, AND I goobered the sound out of sympathetic tension and set off the doorbell instead of the WHUMP of the pipe hitting the murder victim! :-\
-
But everything's back on track now.
-
WHEW!
-
As Patti LuPone once referred to it..."the joy and terror of live theater!"
-
And now...intermission! ;D

I hope it was played for laughs.
-
There were some...and it kind of worked.
-
And we're done!
-
It had its moments, but most of it went pretty well.
-
Time to head home.
-
I have no reason, good or bad, for not posting. Rest assured, I did at least look in here every day. Guess I just haven't had much to say lately.
Of course, just figured you were busy with other things.
-
Four!
-
Glad your performance worked out, George.
-
Reading anything fun, Jane?
-
I'm binge-watching Riverdale season 5. It's stranger than usual.
-
Well the Zoom
shower/sprinkle was very nice. I would have liked cake but otherwise I had a very enjoyable afternoon.
-
Death by... doorbell?
-
;D
-
Sounds like a Carol Burnett sketch.
-
The mother to be eight year old twins were also include which was super cute.
-
I made it to church and back safely this morning, but there were SO many spinouts and cars in ditches all around us.
-
Sprinkle as in only a Zoom gathering for a 3rd baby. Keith joked full shower gifts though. In reality we gave two gifts last time. Thank goodness it is only one baby this time.
-
This afternoon, I saw an original children's musical written by an acquaintance of mine: The Dragon that Liked to Spit Fire.
-
One of the questions to the twins is do you want a brother or sister. I don't know how people wait to find out the sex of the baby when they don't have to.
-
I made it to church and back safely this morning, but there were SO many spinouts and cars in ditches all around us.
I am glad you were not one of those and safely made it both ways.
-
Reading anything fun, Jane?
Not fun but interesting. I'm reading On Gold Mountain: The One-Hundred-Year Odyssey of My Chinese-American Family
by Lisa See. See normally writes fiction.
-
I just speed read through the parts I don't find interesting.
-
:)

I have a slight fever. Just wondering if it's the aftermath of the Hep 2 vaccine.

I have a slight fever. Just wondering if it's the aftermath of the Hep 2 vaccine.
It could be.
-
It WAS fun, DR John G.
-
90 minutes without an intermission, and didn't overstay its welcome.
-
Apparently it is based on a children's book about the importance of leaning in to your uniqueness.
-
Apparently it is based on a children's book about the importance of leaning in to your uniqueness.
I had to read that twice. Instead of uniqueness, I scanned underpants. I don't lean into mine. And I don't know where my eyes were.

;D
-
Farm animal cupcakes:
-
I think I have enough energy left to get us to five.
-
But after that, I make no promises.

Egregious #119

FIVE!!!!!

Good night, friends.
-
Happy Monday vibes, Singdaw.

Tony Kotsur won two awards today for CODA.
-
I really want to see that movie.

Back from a fun meal with Yacko. Art's Deli - had a bacon and cheese omelet and a bagel.

For Audra fans. She sings a little of I Am What I Am in the beginning. Halfway through, she does a nice version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

I had a nice day, all things said.
Great lunch of BBQ chicken and pleasant company. Didn't stay too long. Got home by 1:37 p.m. and joined a Zoom session that lasted until 3 or so.
The guy who is going to paint my house called and told me he found a guy who would completely re-screen my back porch. That sealed the deal that today was a very good day!
I will be getting up in the morning and going to my chiropractor. Despite my morning optimism about feeling a bit spryer, the tweak acted up in church and has stayed prominent all day. I can still walk upright, but I feel every step.
An adjustment of some sort is needed. Perhaps it's mental. But I am taking no chances.
-
Good to see DR Ginny posting again.
-
I watched a three-part mini-series on Amazon Prime this evening.
Agatha Christie's "Ordeal of Innocence". Nicely done.
-
Yawning now.
Good night.
-
Okay, 12 episodes into season 5 of Riverdale. No high school musical yet, but there was a drug-fueled version of Walking in Space from Hair. Quite a lot of fun.
-
Good night, all.
-
A memory from two years ago before the world closed.

Glad your performance worked out, George.
Thanks, John!

Death by... doorbell?
Pretty much. ;)

Sounds like a Carol Burnett sketch.
I think the whole play is almost a Carol Burnett sketch.

Yikes! :o Glad you were safe, Singdaw!

-
A lull. ::)
-
At least, we made it to Page Five.
-
Let's see if Page Six is a possibility.
-
Hmm...
-
We're getting closer...
-
And now...
-
...since we're so close, it's finally...
-
PAGE SIX!! :D
-
Whew!
