Well, you've read the notes, the notes were wacko, and now it is time for you to post until the wacko cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: BESMIRCH!
-
And I would ascribe that word to the young actress who dropped out of our show.
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I am a bit down this morning. I fear the recording project U've been working on since last September will die today. I'm hoping I'm wrong.
-
I'm also down about the Ukraine situation and wish to God someone would assassinate Putin.
-
It's a Wednesday, so maybe I'm in a mid-week slump?
-
It is, indeed, Wednesday.
I shall be off to the chiropractor at 8:30 a.m. I am getting better by the day and will hopefully be good as new sooner rather than later.
-
The time on this here site is two hours behind me...Mountain Time, I do believe.
-
One thing it is time for...
-
Perhaps not "everywhere", but I will drink it right now while I type these misbegotten thoughts.
-
It is another gray day from the looks of things. Indeed, the weather forecast is for rain, rain, rain.
Not that I mind a bit of rain, but I do mind day after day of gray.
-
I have a haircut appointment later this morning in Edgefield. While there, I shall have my lunch at Park Row Number 1 on Courthouse Square.
-
Park Row
-
And now this bit of silliness...
-
I am minutes away from departing.
And here I sit, alone at HHW.com...with nary a guest lurking.
Is it my breath?
-
Good morning, all.
-
I send best vibes for DR Elmore's recording project.
Likewise, the Putin project. :)

Double ditto.

This looks more like Cirque du Soleil than a Broadway musical.
-
Too tired to move yet.

I'm having a lie-down for a bit. Later!

Yes!

A rare George Szell interview. Per the uploader ("Szell and Cleveland Orchestra"):
Recorded by the BBC in London, September 1968, and ripped from the Szell Centennial Edition. John Culshaw was a producer of classical music recordings for Decca (including the Solti Ring cycle) and subsequently head of music at the BBC.

Back from the chiropractor. Great session. Feeling very good.
That said, the drive to and from was quite stressful with all the gray and rain.
Ah, well.
-
Having another cup of coffee and an apple fritter. I would have had a fritter earlier, but I had forgotten I bought them at Sam's Club yesterday.
It dawned on me as I was pondering stopping on my way back for a breakfast item at Hardee's or Wendy's.
The lines at both places were simply too long. And then "fritter" propped into my head.
Ahhhh.
-
Here I sit again...alone in HHW.com with nary a lurker.

At this rate, DR Ron Pulliam will be fritterin' away his noon time, supper time, chore time, too.
-
;D
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Yesterday started in sunshine, but snow showers ensued.
We'll see what today holds.
-
~~~CONTINUED BACK IMPROVEMENT VIBES~~~ for DR Ron Pulliam!!!!
~~~SUPER-DUPER PROJECT VIBES~~~ for DR elmore3003!!!!!!!!
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE.
-
Getting the mats and all other necessary vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
Surgery vibes for DR JEANNE.
-
Temps in the teens and snow for us this weekend......
-
We received an offer on the house at $75,000 below the asking price. I said NO!
-
I did not like the meeting with the tax preparer yesterday who doesn't seem to know how to do anything involving an estate.
We learned about a document called a K-1 which I really don't think applies to us.....but we shall see.
-
Yeah, I would surmise that you don't want THAT buyer, DR Jrand71.
-
Just like all the buyers on the Home & Garden network. I want a house with this and this and this, but I don't wanna pay for it.
-
Sounds like it's time for a new tax preparer, too.
-
I guess you'd say my current mood is: pessimistic. 8)
-
Sorry for all the roadblocks, bk, with getting your show on the boards. Sometimes people are so inconsiderate.
-
But, as my supervisor always says, PVO. Positive Vibes Only.
-
I send best vibes for DR Elmore's recording project.
Likewise, the Putin project. :)
~~~Ditto and Ditto!!~~~
Conrad Janis has died at 94.
I’d have said, oh heck no!
You want a house for free? Don’t we all.
If anyone's interested, more Covid test kits are available here:
-
Why, thanks for that information, DR George! :-*
-
Yes, thank you.
To my knowledge, we never even got the ones we signed up for a few months ago.
-
Wednesday afternoon greetings! My big plan for today is picking up a curbside order at Kroger. Isn't my life a thrill?
-
From DR John:
Jane, the library has a new Italian TV series based on Nero Wolfe. Have you seen it?
No. If my brother hasn't seen this I know he will want to as he is a big fan. New and in new to the States? I see an Italian series from 2012.
-
Back from the chiropractor. Great session. Feeling very good.
That said, the drive to and from was quite stressful with all the gray and rain.
Ah, well.
That's great, except for the stressful drive.
-
Yes, thank you.
To my knowledge, we never even got the ones we signed up for a few months ago.
I stand corrected! They arrived a couple of weeks ago and were put away.
(Don't ask me where, but they're safe and sound. Somewhere.) :)
-
I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a clear view after days of grey and rain.
-
I did not like the meeting with the tax preparer yesterday who doesn't seem to know how to do anything involving an estate.
We learned about a document called a K-1 which I really don't think applies to us.....but we shall see.
Oh no. Did the attorney recommend this person?
-
Conrad Janis has died at 94.
Wow, 94.
-
Yes, thank you.
To my knowledge, we never even got the ones we signed up for a few months ago.
That is surprising. Definitely sign up again.
I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a clear view after days of grey and rain.
After spring-like weather this past weekend, we're having snow flurries today and expecting accumulating snow this coming weekend.
-
Wait, what? Another one?
Today's 1-3 inches is enough of an insult after the warm weather we just had. I don't want any more deliveries coming down the pike from your neck of the woods, DR Ginny. :)
-
That’s probably it, Jane. No telling when it was originally released. It was probably at a good price, so the library grabbed it.
-
No s**w. But it is dropping down to 29 Friday.
-
;D
Nice interview with Jamie Bernstein:
-
:)
-
It's strangely quiet here today.
-
Have a look, DR Elmore, and marvel at the wonders of modern musical notation technology.
-
It's strangely quiet here today.
No two-ton child running wild upstairs?
-
Today's mess in the laundry room. And the dumbass landlord does nothing.
-
Why, thanks for that information, DR George! :-*
A friend sent me the info, so I'm just spreading the news!
-
Yes, thank you.
To my knowledge, we never even got the ones we signed up for a few months ago.
That's great!
-
I'm up, I'm up - six and a half hours of sleep, I think, which is fine given the over eleven hours of yesterday. Just been answering e-mails and such.
-
Nice interview with Jamie Bernstein:
Very nice article.
My first thought was:
How quiet, how quiet the chamber is....
Apparently the Tony Awards will be broadcast as a live event on Sun 6/12/22 - that is, the entire country will be watching live at the same time. 4 hours, but you can only watch hour 1 if you have Paramount+.
So, is this the beginning of the end of playing Wordle for free??
New York Times Shuts Down Wordle Archive (https://gamerant.com/wordle-archive-shut-down-new-york-times/amp/).
The Wordle Archive, which allows fans to play the backlog of Wordle puzzles, is shut down per the request of New York Times.
Any way to make a buck. ::)
Thanks for letting me know.
Keith laughed when I told him and said that was to be expected. Once it happens he won't be playing anymore.
Let’s move on …
-
Four!
-
At this rate, DR Ron Pulliam will be fritterin' away his noon time, supper time, chore time, too.
So very true!
-
Happy Kitty...
-
S**w here Friday night.....but only about one inch.
-
It's NCAA tourney time so here in Indiana - all kinds of dreams are coming true and all kinds of dreams are being shattered.....all weekend...... Well all across the country.
-
DR JANE the tax preparer was the one that my uncle had used for the past few years......
My sister called and we went to pick up our papers from her and go to someone our attorney recommended when we told him some of the things she told us......we were charged a surprisingly large amount....for a 90 minute meeting. She told my sister around noon - after my sister had sent her about a half dozen emails on questions she asked yesterday - that she had seen the emails, but she was "going to work on it this weekend...."
But then we were charged for preparation......
Anyway I questioned the amount and was "set straight".....then she emailed my sister with all of her qualifications and says she doesn't understand why we don't want her.
I told my sister to ignore her. Otherwise I would say:
1. You were thirty five minutes late for the consultation.
2. You left the meeting at least twice to ask someone else for an answer to a question we had.
3. A lot of what you said seemed to be the opposite of what our attorney had said.
4. We did not have confidence that you could do the work.
So....tread lightly, Mrs. Fultz, or I'll tell you why.
-
Yesterday I forgot to add my favorite movie with a twist:
-
Don't Knock The Twist!
HA! It includes a Twist Fashion Show!
The fee doesn't surprise me. You were wise to leave and find someone else. I hope the new person is a great improvement.
Israel plans to set up a field hospital, expected to include emergency room, maternity ward, children and adult wards and a tele-health center.
Vibes they do this without being killed.
-
Beautiful music including a violinist performing in a bomb shelter & Yuriy Yurchuk singing the Ukrainian national anthem outside 10 Downing Street.
-
I shall shortly be on my way to the mail place and then rehearsal, after which I shall return.
-
Had Del Taco for food - not sure it was a good idea as I'm feeling kind of gross right now.
-
'night
-
:)
-
Good night, friends.
-
Good night, DRslipshaw!
-
It is time for me to consider dreamland, as well.
Reading of DR Jrand's tax issues, I feel very fortunate to have gotten mine done so early. Of course, I didn't have estate issues to contend with.
Good fortune to you and your sister, Jack, on finding the right tax preparer.
-
If Elmore thought things were quiet earlier, what would he think of now?
-
I had a fun cha-cha class tonight.
-
Then I went down to the Pearl Brewery complex and listened to a Latin band at the Hotel Emma, which is just a beautiful building.
-
Now home.
-
Listened to a little more of Canterbury Tales. The Summoner's Tale was my favorite 45 years ago. It's my favorite still. Very funny. Very filthy.
-
Just got a ticket to see Bob Dylan on Monday. Have never seen him before.
-
An iTunes update is logging me off.
-
Good night, all.
-
Back from a good rehearsal.
-
Currently 25 degrees and dropping fast.
-
No cloud cover to keep us warm.
-
Last one on page four.
-
Page five!
-
Happy and gay vibes to DR Elmore.
-
Well, one out of two already!
-
Back vibes to DR Ron!
-
Weather vibe to most of the country.
-
Northwest sports fans (not George) are mourning the fact that Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson, has been traded to the Denver Broncos.
-
Russell is married to pop singer Ciara.
-
They are a beautiful couple
-
Oh well! We had him here for ten years and two Super Bowls.
-
I am so angry about the Ukraine. I just want us to blow the Hell out of Russia.
-
Where was everyone today?
-
I blame Jane.
-
And Ginny.
-
And currently, George.
-
Greetings one Guest.
-
What is your favorite cake?
-
Mine is chocolate cake and cheesecake.
-
Former ambassador of Russia is on STEPHEN COLBERT. Good night!
-
Guess George has deserted us - or - like the photo above - desserted us. Most unseemly.
-
No cake for George.
-
You heard it here.
-
Not there.
-
Here.
-
I'm still here.
-
Perhaps George is having a Sunday in the Park with himself.
