I must say I have mixed feelings about the time change.

I did not fail to advance any of the clocks I must do manually, and all the rest of my equipment changed automatically.

Still, I have a lingering doubt in my mind that it's all some enormous joke being perpetrated upon me.

What if I am still in bed asleep?

I woke up at about 3:30 to visit the necessary, and got back into bed grateful that it was only about 3:30.

And then I remembered. I was looking at the beloved old clock radio that I hadn't yet changed manually, and it was really 4:30.

Well, I think I can say with some authority that that harshed my mellow a little bit.

So once again we have to go out and clean up parts of the driveway.

And this should really be it for the winter storms. It simply has to be. Of course I've said that before. The weather forecast for the entire upcoming week is 50s and clear. But THEY'VE said that before, too, damn them.

Having read about the newly revised wrestling scene and seeing the poster on Facebook this morning, I'm more interested than ever to see whatever I can of the new L.A. Now and Then.

I am really hoping there will be video. BK -- is this the show that you were disappointed in how it was shot last time? I don't remember now, but it seems like we did see it all, but you only left it up for a very short time. Or maybe it was individual scenes? No, I think I remember the whole thing.

There is an Open House at The House That Must Be Sold today - and I think there will be good weather.

I am hoping that it is featured on the Sunday morning Realty Show that is on at 11:30 a.m. which used to be 10:30 a.m.  So I shall watch that....

There is a tentative viewing for someone named Nelson today as well.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  I'm back after a 2-day virtual cardmaking event that I did with my sister, niece, and about 1,000 other crafters.  Nancy and Laura are smart enough to be together in Florida, but I stayed here in snowy Ohio.  We had fun and learned some cool new techniques.

I just formally gave my regrets for not attending my high school 55th reunion in May.

I never ended up attending any of them. I do somewhat regret that, but only in looking back to the earlier years when it might have been great fun. Nowadays I'm fine just having contact with a few people and keeping in touch with the group as a whole on Facebook and on their private website.

Interesting, too, in that a quick glance at Google shows him being remembered right off the bat for Kiss of the Spider Woman. And Broadcast News, certainly. That's probably the one I'd probably put first. Maybe. He certainly had some hugely notable ones.

Wow, what a story.  Two women, both born and raised in Kyiv, fled to the Polish border to unite with their sons in Israel.  While boarding a plan they noticed their last name called out twice.  Talking they discovered they were half sisters and never knew about each other.

I made sugar-free cupcakes, which hardly anyone took.

I made gluten-free cupcakes, some of which were taken; the rest were packaged up and sent home with the Birthday Boy for his grandson, who needs gluten-free stuff.

I made some chocolate and some white cupcakes, some of which had raspberry jam inside.

I made stiff buttercream frosting and piped big beautiful piles of frosting on top.

Lots of cupcakes.

Sundays are intended as Me Days, but I was busy all day. I need to be up early tomorrow for the outpatient surgery. I'll text BK when I'm home and, if I'm up to it, I'll post here, too. I've had several of these now and sometimes they wipe me out. I'll have to stay off my feet until Friday's post-op. I have plenty here to keep me amused. Well, occupied, anyway.
