Well, you've read the notes, the notes met Esther, and now it is time for you to post until the Bad Seed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: IMPRIMATUR!

First after BK?
-
Is everyone still struggling with Wordle?
-
I thought it had finally beaten me for a moment there
-
The omens since I got out of bed have been pure unadulterated shit.
-
My email is screwed up and I need some time to figure out what happened. My suspoicion is cvats on the keyboard.
That was the first thing.
-
I took the laundry to the basement. I loaded the two washers, added detergent and discovered both were dead. They were unplugged. I plugged them in and one came to liofe. The other had ac fklashing light: out of order. Well, goddammit. I started the other washer and came upstairs.
That's two
-
Good morning to all
-
45 minutes later I went down to do the other l;oad. As I approached the laundry room I heard dripping water and that was distressing. My clothes are washed, but the sink the washers drain into is clogged and there was water everywhere. I could not unclog it. I put the clothes from the washer into a dryer started it. I packed up the unwashed load and brpought it back upstairs.
That's three.
-
I was talking to one of the men who has an office in the basement. He says the super tried to unclog the drain yesterday . I suspect he's the one who unplugged thew washers. Why the fat hell didn't he imply post a sign: WASHERS OUT Of ORDER or DRAIN CLOGGED- DO NOT USE.
That's four.
-
I'm lucky that second washer was out or the flood would be even worse.
I am so furious over hte situation.
-
The email was easier to fix than I thought. I am not happy about the rest of this morning so far.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Work dreams. Ugh.
-
Sounds more like nightmares.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
DR elmore3003 - your day can only improve from here.
-
~~~GOOD VIBES~~~ for you!!!
-
Good Wednesday, everyone.
That includes even you, ever-the-optimist singdaw.
-
I slept the sleep of the dead.
It was so nice, and I suspect the reason is that it got chilly out there. It hit the upper 30s, and it's 44 right now.
I am up now, I think.
I have done my daily vitals (BP and glucose), recorded them for posterity and have printed out my latest meds schedule to give to my cardiologist when I see him at noon-thirty.
Ain't life grand!!
-
Hey, Elmo!
-
The painting continues today.
The porch man will be here either today or tomorrow to begin his work.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Weirdest dream ever, combining two people from my long past work life, a recent sold-out box set of films I was interested in, and a couple of people I have no idea who they were. How these things make sense, even when asleep, is beyond me.
Maybe I should get into writing screenplays for Netflix.
-
More basement mishegoss for DR Elmore! Oy! I hope they take care of that forthwith. I mean, how long can the building tolerate that situation? I know, I shouldn't ask.
Progress is good.
There's nothing earth-shattering or life-threatening involved, but I am in one of those periods in which I have emails or other messages out to -- I think the count is up to five now -- FIVE people, dating back to Friday morning (which yes, I know that was Good Friday and Passover and all, so that day is forgiven) -- not one of which has replied as of today, the following Wednesday morning.
I contrast that with the three days prior to Friday in which I sent out notes to two other people with much larger questions than those in the above, and each one responded within 24 hours with exactly the answer I'd hoped to hear.
Is there another communications snafu going on with the planets, DR Jrand71?
I think you have a promising career ahead of you in Netflix screenwriting, DR ChasSmith.
-
Good Wednesday, everyone.
Why thank you kindly, DR Ron Pulliam.
TOD: Bruce, do you ever wish you HAD directed "You Light Up My Life"?
-
Think I'd best go read bk's notes. Which are actually words.
Yes, they are. He abandoned hieroglyphics about 1,800 years ago in a previous life.
-
I'm still not happy that I have a load of laundry I would like to wash, God knows when the hell I can in this building these days.
-
Vibes for DR NOAH.....I mean DR ELMORE.
-
It is supposed to be a very nice day here as well....weather wise.
-
I enjoyed the notes.
I liked directing The Bad Seed a few years ago......it was quite the audience pleaser.....even though Rhoda survives in the play - to play another day.
-
Christine just found the "lost" penmanship medal in Rhoda's room.
Well DR CHAS SMITH with the moon squaring both Neptune and Venus we are all getting mixed signals and it is likely that there are indeed delays in communication - sometimes there are difficulties in getting others to understand us.
Things however will even out as we get into the weekend.
-
:)
Good morning.
Did anyone see the horror movie Hereditary?
-
Really dragging today.
I think it’s the pollen and the mold.
Mother Nature wants to kill her young.
-
And if, by "young," you mean a certain former President, I am all for it!
-
TOD: Bruce, do you ever wish you HAD directed "You Light Up My Life"?
If Cindy Williams had done it, which was the original plan, yes, it would have been fun to do that picture.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep. Waiting for publisher's check-in gal to email me and then we'll send the book in.
I haven’t received my copy yet. Where’s my PayPal number?
-
In another meeting that is killing my last remaining gray cells.
-
And I have a few bottles that were supposed to do that for me.
-
Onward!
Three!!
I will be so glad when this day is over.
If it is true that April showers bring May flowers, then we're gonna have a lot of flowers.
So is the second one though the 1st one is my favorite.
I am posting using my new phone. While it is much, much easier than my old phone I prefer not to post using my phone.
We are on the road, heading to Bend Oregon where the good Thai restaurant is located. Tonight we are having dinner at a high school classmate's home. Tomorrow night we will celebrate Keith's birthday at the restaurant.
-
All I need now is sn effing choir to sing "the end of a perfect day." Indiana University haspffered me a pittance - about 1/5 of hat I asked for - to score a three act ballet of two hours of music for an orchestra of 50. I am inclined at the moment to decline, but I have a thought about the situation that I need to work out before I present it.
-
Gee whiz, that's a lot of notes!
-
Had Jersey Mike's for food and I finished the writing, so there's just a one-page epilogue to do and David will attend to that.
Last night for dinner, I had a chickpea fritter with Thai coconut soup. It was really good.
Can you/are you going to make a counter offer?
Wednesday evening greetings! I’ve had a little lack of motivation today, but did get the last of the Easter dishes put away and a grocery order picked up. Tonight I have to make the first layer of the dessert I’m serving to my book group tomorrow evening.
Thank you to DR TCB for last night’s congratulatory wishes.
It's moider, I tells ya!
Sure - why not? You only need a thin layer, so the recipe calls for a Jiffy cake mix baked in a 9x13” pan.
-
I want to try her coconut cake.
The second episode of Nero Wolfe was better than the first. I have a new addiction.
I think there are only eight episodes. Need to space them out.
I'm home.
-
Tonight, we had a rough (very rough) run through of most of the whole show!
-
We started at the top, and got through most of act one.
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
We didn't do the finale of act one, but we jumped to the beginning of act two and got through the rest of the show.
-
Turns out there is a lot of off-stage singing. ;)
-
Lots of songs with no choreography NOR do we have to memorize them! ;D
-
I'm all for that.
-
I, of course, need to work on memorizing the songs and choreography.
-
Otherwise, Father Alexandrios only has two lines...very easy.
-
Travel vibes to DR Jane and DR Kevin!
-
Kevin, if you run into Ms Streisand, say hello from me.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
Hello, George.
-
Just starting the notes now, so keep on posting, boys.
-
So, I got home tonight, and on a whim, decided to see if I could still see in my old contact lenses.
-
Well, it wasn't exactly on a whim...I bought some contact lens solution last night in preparation of the lens testing.
-
I put them in and they definitely are an older prescription. ::)
-
Things are blurry, especially my computer screen!
-
I have it zoomed up to 150% to be able to see the letters, but otherwise, if I needed to, I do believe that I could drive with these in.
-
I also have several pairs of older glasses with different kinds of frames.
-
The reason that I'm trying these out is because of Mamma Mia!
-
The director might want to have me not wear my glasses, and if the contact lenses were good enough (and they are) it's an option so that I wouldn't be as blind as I am without any eyesight correction.
-
So, we'll see what she says...she may also want my regular glasses, which would be totally fine, too.
-
Well, I wouldn’t put them on until I get down there and I would take them out before you drive home.
-
Well, I wouldn’t put them on until I get down there and I would take them out before you drive home.
That was the plan. I probably have a dozen pair, so that's just enough for the number of performances and a couple extra.
-
But that is just me. I used to hate driving on the freeways at night without my glasses.
-
These have an expiration date from 2016, so I can't get anymore right now. My next eye appointment isn't until June at the earliest.
-
But that is just me. I used to hate driving on the freeways at night without my glasses.
And I wouldn't do that. These aren't good enough to drive with, except in an emergency.
-
Well, I need to take them out, so I shall...be right back.
-
Well, I need to take them out, so I shall...be right back.
Okay, I am going to read for a time before I go to sleep.
I think that that was one of the first, if not the first time that I'd heard new lyrics for Sondheim's "I'm Still Here."
-
Both Richard Dreyfus and Rob Reiner has really small cameo appearances.
-
Too bad they don’t make that film, before all the old “stars” pass away.
-
Good night.
Good night, Tom.
At least, we made it to Page Six!
