Well, you've read the notes, the notes were nauseous from nausea, and now it it time for you to post until the nauseous cows come home.

HA First post after BK.

We had a great rehearsal last night. We did Dream Explained/Stone the Crows and Brothers Come to Egypt/Grovel Grovel.
I had one brother message me that he would not be there.....two other brothers gone for the second day in a row without explanation and one ensemble member ditto.
It seems our ensemble member is in quarantine - and I shall message the two brothers to find out what's what.

If they have Covid.....Potiphar is already in quarantine after a positive test.....and another brother had been exposed to Covid so he was wearing a mask last night and stayed offstage (which made it easier for him to tell me what was wrong with the staging and how it could be improved).

And of course now I am up at 4:30 a.m. worried because what happens to the show if someone gets Covid? How do we go on? No understudies and actually the rehearsals are being impacted adversely....I have never had an entire cast here when they're needed.
So I am up and wondering what to do.

DR Ron Pulliam asked where I was yesterday, and the answer is very simple: I was drugged up and lying down. This damned new affliction, which I hope will work itself out in the next few days is so painful that standing and moving are hard to bear. I' spent most of the day dozing and whishing one of two things: I could afford to hirev another helper like last summer to come in and do things around the apartment ore I could just die and be out of this mess.

There's no word from Ohio about the City-Purchaser summit meeting - maybe it hasn't happened yet? - or a closing. I hate it.

Then, around 5:00, the neighbor below me called. My AC is leaking and it's ruining her drapes and putting a hole in her ceiling. I went to check, and she was correct. The problem is the damned building, which has those AC in the wall units. The humidity and water roused up by the AC should drain out onto the street, only mty \air conditioner needs to be propped up agasin so it tilts up toward me and down to the street. I cannot do it in my current state, and my efforts to repair it last night only made it worse. I leftv a message for maintenance, but there's been no response. On top of that, I woke this morning to a huge puddle opf water on my floor.
Have I mentioned how much I hate my life?

I just got another one of those bizarre emails from the Go-Go people asking if I've received my perk from the "Tonight's the Night" campaign a year ago.

After getting home from the car place, I made a 3-egg chili and cheese omelet, using the chili left over from last night's delicious hot dogs on the grill.
Bizarrely, we are completely out of onions. End of the world, man. But both the hot dogs and the omelet were tasty enough without them, and my breath could probably use a break.
The hot dogs we buy are usually Sabrett with natural casing. The store was out of them last week so we chose Boar's Head, also with natural casing. Everyone's hot dogs have a different taste, and it took me a couple of times to find I liked these just fine. But what seemed to have happened last night is that these hot dogs, combined with the Hormel chili without beans and some grated white cheddar and a li'l decorative spritz of traditional yellow mustard caused an explosion in my mouth for which I'm very grateful. They were the best chili dogs I've made yet. And again, without the onions. I'll see if this holds up next time I have these ingredients plus the onions.

Randy just called me. It looks like the closing won't be until August. The City of Middletown is being difficult - when my dad died - the property was still outside the city's jurisdiction, and if things hadn't been handled so incompetently then, perhaps it would have sold then - and the prospective buyer has to bring in consultants from Cincinnati. The good news is, they want thew land; the bad news is the damned City of Middletown.

Jane, yes, I am still taking glycine at night, but just once a day. It did help when I first started it. Not sure if I still need it, but it has other benefits as well. I'm convinced there are many factors to the sleep puzzle and also convinced that the sleep "experts" are only aware of a few of them.

I spent yesterday working on the 2022 Stupendous, Comprehensive, Let's-Get-Rid-of-More- of-This-Stuff Cull. It was the linen closet's turn. The linen closet is my go-to place for all those otherwise homeless items that give you pause and make you say, "Now, where the hell can I put this?" I didn't expect to do it all in one pass, but accomplished about as much as I expected. Some things will be going to charity, a few were tossed. There are others that left me still scratching my head.

But today I ACHE! Muscles that may not have been used in years are letting me know they're still there. Mind you, I stretch for an hour every morning, a comprehensive program that I've done for many years. Thank God for that! But it's not enough.

Fortunately, there isn't a lot that must be done today. Plenty that should be done, but not a lot that must be done. And I can only take so much culling at once.

True. I used to have definite food triggers, such as eating chocolate or popcorn at night. In the last five years I've noticed those triggers don't necessarily trigger an all-nighter anymore. I can think I did everything correct all day and not sleep-lol.

I hope you both loved it on the big screen! For me, it's the best way to see it...the camera lighting is magical on the big screen...and Liza is larger than life!!
