Well, you've read the notes, the notes identified both the photograph and the rabbit hole, and now it is time for you to post until the photographed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: HYPERACTIVE!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Thanks for the report, DR George.
-
That's quite a feat of sleuthing, BK.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I got caught up in MSNBC'rump coverage and didn't get to bed before 10:00. I slept poorly until midnight, then slept well for the next six hours.
-
A Facebook message alerted me to the person responsible for Annabelle's gift yesterday. We are all very grateful for his kindness.
-
The overture got lost in all the brouhaha yesterday, so I must give it some serious attention today.

Bit of insomnia last night bi fear I will be worthless today.

Wordle and Phoodle in 4.
-
Good morning, all.

Nice rabbit hole. I wouldn’t even have gotten out of the starting gate with that photograph.
There was one posted yesterday that I hadn’t seen, of Santa Monica Blvd. at Beverly Glen, in which the lay of the land had changed so radically, at least to these eyes, that it held my attention for a while.
-
I did go back to bed for thirty minutes. I got up at 8:15, made the bed, and took ccare of ther kitty cleanup. I'm going to finish my coffee and get to work.
-
It rained overnight, which was wonderful. Then I had to join rush hour traffic, filled with drivers who don’t know how to drive in the rain. That was not wonderful.
-
Yes DR TCB - Carroll Baker played Luz Benedict II in GIANT - which was on TCM last night.
-
I am happy to have a ME day today.
Yesterday, I ordered Papa John's pizza - so I have plenty left to eat today! No cooking!

Just had a first listen to Jeff Harnar's new Sondheim album, and for me, it's a real winner. Fresh arrangements, imaginative reinterpretations and a combining of things into something new.
-
I like JRand’s list. I would add Network and Sabrina. I liked Holden in most everything, except Fedora.
-
DR George thanks for sharing the photo, thought I am wondering why you weren't wearing a mask.
-
LOL to the sound board operator wearing slippers.

Congrats on the rain, sorry about the drivers.
-
DR TCB I hope you have heard from the surgery center, and if not found out why.
-

I lay down to watch my soaps and Stella curled up next to me. Next thing I knew, it was 2:15. She and Thatch are restless now, since their dinner time is approaching.
-
It is the time when cats "assemble".
-
Thanks for the report, DR George.
Anytime!

I have it, too. Quite enjoyable!

I was looking forward to the gym this morning after a five day absence. Walking in with my mask on I groaned and realized how nice it has been barely needing to wear a mask.

DR ChasSmith, I believe you were asking about the Beritish Gilbert & Sullivan film from the early 1950s. It's on Region 2 DVD from Amazon.co.uk.

Can I take the rest of the day off?
-
There’s a photo of Sarah Palin on Washington Post, and, well, she looks like Tommy Tune. Sad.
-
I see that Patti LaPone is returning to AMERICAN HORROR STORY this year. That show is usually pretty good, but this would be just a little too scary for me!

I am having a hard time picturing that.

DR TCB did you reach your eye surgeon today?

They’re telling the same joke at work today.
-
We saw a startling sight today.
-
Driving home, approaching a four way stop but still a distance away, we saw a police car with flashing lights racing through the intersection going about 100 miles an hour.
-
It was like something out of a movie.
-
He never slowed down to even look if anyone was at the stop sign.
-
Knowing the cross street I figured even if we had been stopped we would have seen the flashing lights before driving forward.

Surely there are still some intelligent folk in the GOP who are embarrassed by the moronic majority?
-
It appears not.

Sadly.

Not a jot.

Nor a tiddle.

Not an iota.

Not a smidgeon.

Not by a chinny-chin-chin.

(and I have the chins to prove it)

Not by an ethic.

Not with green eggs and ham.

Wow! DR JANE!
-
Where is MR BK? Is he errant and truant?
-
It's nice to have a day off from rehearsal and performance and driving to the theeder.
-
Wow! DR JANE!
I was just browsing our county safety FB page for any news. I couldn't find what the hurry was ;D
-
I have notifications on Twitter, but I have to confess, I don't care.

I am sure it was something urgent going at that speed.

Holy Cow!
-
I really must be going senile - could have sworn I posted when I got up. Anyway, I'm up - eight hours of sleep.
-
I've spent the majority of the day doing the screenplay adjustments - I've done all but one little addition at the end.
-
I think David still has a large number of his things to do.

Good night, friends.

Finished Toni and all the extras. Made me want to watch another Renoir film. I'm now giving another chance to Un purge bebe, which is a Feydeau farce that isn't altogether funny. But I am enjoying it better than I did the first time I saw it.
-
It was Renoir's first sound film, and the sound is surprisingly excellent. But it's a filmed play and it's sort of stagebound.
-
But the actors are game, if a little too broad for movies.
-
Good evening.
-
That's about all I have to say tonight.

I'd like to finish my book tonight, but I won't.
-
I'm deep into Fredrick Backman's Us Against You. It's a sequel to Beartown, which was quite disturbing. This isn't quite as intense, but it is all about sports and violence and communities. Though it's about hockey in a small Scandinavian town, it might as well be about football in rural Texas.
-
Maybe that should have been two posts.
-
It's time to get off this page.

One more ...

Good night, all.

When I came in today people were wishing one of my co workers, a girl who started the week after I did, a happy birthday. Then another co-worker said, wow, and tomorrow is my birthday, so I chimed in , my birthday’s tomorrow too, and we were all laughing about it .
This afternoon someone went out and got a Carvel sheet cake for the three of us.
-
It was delicious
-
Surely there are still some intelligent folk in the GOP who are embarrassed by the moronic majority?
Evidently, there isn't an effing one.

My apologies to Jane and any other folks who might have been interested. I could have sworn that I answered the question about the surgery. I remember writing, but I don’t know what happened to it.
-
Anyway, they called and left a message asking why I didn’t show for my 10:30 surgery. I returned their call and explained that I had waited all day on Thursday and Friday waiting for their call telling me where and when.
-
I told my entire story and she said rather rudely, “Well, you know, you could have called us.”
-
Again, I started saying that I didn’t know where to call, and she said, once again, “Well, you could have called us at this phone number.”
-
They took no responsibility for not calling me as they had promised me they would do.
-
You would all be proud of me that I didn’t say, “F**k you!”
-
Surely there are still some intelligent folk in the GOP who are embarrassed by the moronic majority?
Evidently, there isn't an effing one.
I don’t know about that. They all have lots of children.
-
Not Knott's Berry Farm.
Did I ever tell you the story of having dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Knott? I am sure I have, I tend to tell everyone I know, at least once.
-
Hello, ZERO Guests.
-
I watched this fantastic documentary the other night called JFK: THE SMOKING GUN. I wasn’t agreeing with at first when they were explaining how the single bullet could have been true, but the rest I found myself agreeing with them. And it was the first time I had seen in a documentary, them talking about the Secret Service agents going out and getting smashed the night before the assassination.
-
You would all be proud of me that I didn’t say, “F**k you!”
I think you should have. ::)

TCB, a paywall means you have to have a subscription to read - the Washington Post has that, as does Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times. Most allow you five free articles.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
And yet, we're still on page five.
-
How can that be?
-
Most unseemly.
-
Most.
-
Is page five trying to gaslight me?
-
There are way too many posts on page five to still be on page five.
-
And now - page six.
