I then tried to set up a wi-fi hotspot on my phone so that my computer could connect through that, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.

For those who love the "golden era" of old Hollywood film scores, you might enjoy a new release, "Hollywood Soundstage," by John Wilson and the Sinfonia of London on Chandos.

I think you will enjoy it.
More than the parents who are trying to get it banned.
Wow DR VIXMOM this makes us all at HHW only about 4 degrees of separation from the late monarch!
thanks for the vibes for my brother - he is out of surgery and doing well.....two stents put in.
I don't know, what do you call a dog magician?
DR Jrand72, your choreographic assistance is desperately needed!
No groaning at HHW
No groaning at HHW
Groaning? I'm clapping with glee!
DR George, vibes all goes well with your mother's minor surgery. Minor or not, I agree about taking it easy.
I always scratch my head when I hear My Favorite Things sung as a Christmas song. Some Enchanted Evening is even more questionable. Yet here it is on a Petula Clark album.

Someone at work guessed Penn & Old Yeller, which I think is quite good.

When I walked at 11:00 this morning the wind was blowing 19 miles an hour. It is up to 26 miles now.

Nothing compared to Wyoming. But not fun, I’m sure.
Several friends have panned Disney's new live action Pinocchio. I think I'll stick with the old, terrifying animated version.
As I was just sitting on my front porch, an SUV drove by with a cutout of Queen Elizabeth II on the back seat window waving as though she were seated in the car.
And that DR JOHN G is Indiania.
Well we have a Mercury retrograde starting tonight at 11:06 p.m. EST.
And already Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Pluto are in retrograde - so this is going to be a few weeks of world shaking events.
This is in addition of course to the usual communication, computer, car and electronics interruptions....
It lasts until October 1.

Another cheer for the CD announcements. Cole Porter V sounds intriguing, and I'm absolutely thrilled to hear about the London How to Succeed... which I have never heard, and for some reason had never even looked for.
Vibes for your mother, George. There's a lot more in the category of "minor surgery" than one would think. I also find that as I get older these things take more out of me. Rest is a good option.
I went out today to pick up some foodstuffs. It was like a sauna! 99 degrees and with a storm on the way. We could really use the rain, but they're predicting flooding, of course. the ground's just too dry to handle it.
Gas was $2.84 at Costco.
There’s a soul singer at Mr. Crabby’s.
There was a surprise rain shower when I left the restaurant. And it rained all the way home.
Health vibes to DR George’s mother.
