Post by: George on September 24, 2022, 11:07:47 PM: Last night, my friend Shelly and I went to Applebee's for dinner. I had their Quesadilla Burger with an Impossible burger patty. After ordering, I was told that it normally comes with bacon bits and did I want them not added. I said that I just wanted to try the patty and to keep the bacon. It was quite good. Less greasy than the beef burger...definitely delightful. :D

So, I had to go in this morning and fix that, so they're up now. They actually should have been up before unless you tuned in just as I was doing the fix. Tonight, I'll schedule for just after midnight and that should work.

Yesterday afternoon, Ann and Jen replaced a couple for me now that I cannot stand on a ladder, and I am much happier about the light in the room than I was yesterday morning.

I've shaved and will shortly shower, but I don't have to leave here until eight-thirty. I'm trying this new Curb app - it's like Uber but with cabs.

Can anyone here tell me what kind of stand lights are commonly used in Broadway pits and elsewhere these days? The traditional incandescent ones are still made but are increasingly hard to find in local stores. I'm interested in plug-in lamps, not the little battery-operated or rechargeable ones.

I can't find the kind of lamp we use.....my uncle had a bunch of them and I bought them from his estate. No manufacturer listed on them and a search of the model number brings up nothing.

But in addition to them we also sometimes use an LED clipon book light that is small and convenient - sometimes the pianist used two of them. They are USB rechargeable.
