Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a three-ring circus, and now it is time for you to post until the three-ring cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: TRANSMOGRIFY!
-
I hate to admit this to all of you culinary experts and deli mavens, but I love canned corned beef sandwiches. It goes back to my childhood. Two sandwiches on hamburger buns with some cheddar cheese were dinner tonight. Ahhh, heaven.
-
Unfortunately, the result is trying to quench my thirst. WATER!
-
I am still waiting for a delivery from California!
-
Tom, the article got that wrong. We won't be wearing masks for the performances. We did for some recent rehearsals (and we put on our cloth masks when we're off stage), but no onstage masks anymore.

BREAK A LEG TONIGHT, GEORGE!

Safe travels, Vixmom.

More break-a-leg vibes, George.
-
Good morning, all!

I slept very badly, but I think the cdats had a great night. Stella stayed a while and Ifell back to sleep. When I woke, some timer around 3:00, I could feel four sets odff claws digging into my back, andI thought, Stella's taking up all the bed. When I turned over, it was Thatch, snoring away. Annabelle remained on her Princess Pillow, aloof and unconcerned. I was happy to see him since he's been distant for the past 3-4 days, and I've been worried that he might be sick.
-
This morning, Access-a-Ride will (hopefully) get me to my Covid booster shot.

DR George, that was a nice article and photo. Remember, you're going out there a librarian and you're coming back a star!

I am on my way to my yearly appt. with my radiologist.
Unlike DR ELMORE fortunately, I do not have to wait for Access A Ride.
-
Every thing MR BK says about this current trial is TRUE.
The defendant also refuses to acknowledge his own name - he doesn't "identify" as that person. But that is intermittent.
-
~~~APPOINTMENT VIBES~~~ for you, DR Jrand72!!!!!!!!
-
If the Repugs that had been proposed had been seated on the Jan 6 Commission, I imagine those hearings would have been similar to this trial. A travesty.
Dr Lobo says keep building on our success......which is what he always says.
A bit of looking here and there and checking records and he sent me on my way until next year.
I stopped by the chemo office and let them know everything was fine and thanked them.....last chemo was five years ago.
Stopped by the surgeon's office and said THANKS again for the last five years!
EXCELLENT, DR Jrand72.
I wish every AAR day went so well! The driver was on time, and we arrived 45 minutes early for my appointment at 11:00. By 10:38 I was boosted and dismissed. The wait for a taxi was short, and I was home by 11:10.
-
You know how I mentioned the s--- word yesterday?
Well.... Guess what happened.
-
On October 14th.
-
I am so glad, DR elmore3003. That the trip went well, and that you are now ultra-protected.
For your health, you should always try to eat the freshest, in-season produce.
Randy is in surgery, which began at 7:00 this morning. My sister-in-law Jo sounds good but tired. I'm happy she's had company for the long wait with her sons Tim and Matt. Randy's son Cory from his first marriage is flying in from Arlington VA.
-
More vibes for Randy.
-
Did you see the Don or Sancho Panza anywhere in the vicinity?
I see them everywhere.
Nice photo DR JOHN G.
Thanks, everyone!
From DR George:
VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO!!
I never used to vote like this. I voted for the candidate I liked and felt would do the best job. I have voted for independent candidates and Republicans. Granted I have mostly voted for Democrats, still I wish I felt there was a choice besides voting a straight party.
Yes, no matter who :(
-
I kind of feel like we are living in one of those fictional dystopian worlds I read or watch. Sigh.
-
Nice photos George. I will read the article after returning from the gym.
-
Continued vibes for Randy and family!
-
Don't tilt at too many of those things, DR John G. It could get to be a habit.
-
Saw a baby owl by the pool tonight. Didn’t get a great and certainly no photo. But I got to see one. They’re supposedly well known on the island.
More break-a-leg vibes, George.
Thanks, John!
I enjoyed this photo, and comparing the windmill to the ones we saw on extremely windy Mikonos.
-
The octobass plays an octave lower than a double-bass.
-
That's a wonderful photo, DR Jane.
-
We're in Maryland - gas is 3.94...I paid 3.19 yesterday in NY, but that was at a warehouse club. This morning the station on the corner was 3.39
Glad to hear the morning went well, Elmore
Not fair! I got gas yesterday at the Tumwater Costco and paid $4.79⁹. Fred Meyer was at $4.99⁹ and kitty corner from that was Chevron at $5.99⁹! :o
Opening night break a leg vibes, DR George!
That was interesting.
I just finished reading HAMNET and want to thank DRs John & Ginny, if it were not for them I would have passed on reading it.
-
The writing is wonderful. Has anyone read anything else by Maggie O'Farrell?
-
Up again - got four more hours of sleep - so nine total. That was good. Of course, I woke up with allergies, so I just took a pill for that.
-
Thank goodness there's a pill for that!
-
Some feel that I'm a pill, too.
-
And on that note,
-
Six.
-
A Broadway musical, no less.
-
You don't always get that on a page turn.
-
TOD.
We are deciding if we will watch the 3rd episode of AMERICAN GODS. Now I remember why I avoided this show.
-
Since Keith is a fan of Ian McShane, and we had completed the wonderful Neil Gaiman's THE SANDMAN, I figured it was time to watch American Gods.
-
As much as I liked the novel I wasn't sure this would work, for me anyway as it seems to be popular, as a series. Sadly, so far, I am right.
-
GOOD OMEN by Gaiman, which I liked slightly better the AMERICAN GODS, I knew would make a wonderful series. I was very pleased to be right.
-
I'm at the theater and tested negative...most fortunately, but totally expected.
-
I don't know how many are in the audience tonight, but it'll be what it'll be.
-
I'm at the theater and tested negative...most fortunately, but totally expected.
Excellent.
-
Have fun.
-
Wow, I walked a total of 10 miles today :)
-
'night
-
Looking forward to hearing DR George's opening night report. I have seen several versions of this Agatha Christie property, and have always been impressed by the ingenious way it is constructed.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Have fun.
Thanks! I hope I do!
;)
-
Wow, I walked a total of 10 miles today :)
Wow!
-
I was told that tonight is pretty much sold out!
-
We're almost to the end of act one.
-
I have one more short scene then it's intermission.
-
The writing is wonderful. Has anyone read anything else by Maggie O'Farrell?
I read The Marriage Portrait. I loved most of it, but it seemed to run out of steam near the end. I’m going to reread it when I get back. Maybe it was just my mood.
-
And we're done! Off to a local restaurant to celebrate!
-
Enjoy, George. I hope the evening was great.
-
I was terribly embarrassed when my favorite local Seattle station was purchased by the Sinclair Network. Then, however, they made it worse by hiring this real gumba as one of their main newscasters. Now he is embarrassing!
-
Tonight’s new story.
Joe Biden (apparently not President Biden) will be staying in Portland tonight, thru the mid-term elections!
I would think Jill would begin to miss him by then!
-
God! What an idiot!
-
House vibes while DR Vixmom is traveling.
Maybe they should have vixter and her husband come up and take care of the house while they are on vacation?
-
The octobass plays an octave lower than a double-bass.
Tom Thumb playing the violin.
-
I am looking forward to photos of Paros.
But this won’t be April in Paros.
-
I just finished reading HAMNET and want to thank DRs John & Ginny, if it were not for them I would have passed on reading it.
I love Shakespeare!
-
Great news, Jack.
-
S E V E N !
-
And we're done! Off to a local restaurant to celebrate!
I didn’t know they had restaurants in Centrailia.
-
Enjoy, George. I hope the evening was great.
Thanks, John! It was a lot of fun!
-
And I'm home. :)
:o Who is this guy??
-
I didn’t know they had restaurants in Centrailia.
They do! And the chicken strips that I got were really good, too.
-
Hi, Tom!
-
We had almost a full house tonight!
-
They thoroughly enjoyed it!
-
I had a couple of goobers (again) ::) but they were momentary and we continued without more fuss.
-
After the show, we went to the Centralia O'Blarney's (https://oblarneyspub.com/) and had a grand time for a couple of hours.
-
I have ABSOLUTELY NO PLANS for tomorrow, until I need to pick up my fellow actor who lives on the west side of Olympia.
-
Well, we're still on Friday's day of posts, but I'm off to bed.
Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow. :)
-
DR George, pleased to hear opening night was a success.
Congrats!
-
Glad to hear the show went well.
-
New notes are up and must be read.
-
Up are new notes, which must be read.
-
Or maybe they should be red.
