Well, you've read the notes, the notes were ravishing, and now it is time for you to post until the ravishing cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PERENNIAL!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.

Bruce, the price of eggs and chicken have increased because of an outbreak of avian flu.

Bruce, the price of eggs and chicken have increased because of an outbreak of avian flu.
My niece has seven chickens and we put up netting over the otherwise open outside area so that it might help prevent outside birds that might have avian flu from infecting her chickens. :-\
-
George, vibes that your niece’s chickens stay healthy.
You are a very supportive uncle, and I’m sure you are most appreciated.
-
Good night, HHW.
Pleasant dreams.

Goode morning, all!
-
The problem with my sleeping is that my arthritic joints cannot get comfortable. Once I finally for to sleep. it was after I had tossed, turned, and tried many sleeping positions. I did dream that I was working with my dad at some construction company and my dad volunteered me to follow a co-worker home to allow him to take a car home. I would follow in his truck. I didn't know the vehicle or where the hell I was going. We got to the Lincoln Park area in Middletown when I lost him, and everything went to hell.

The news of DR Danise's death is very upsetting. The last time I saw her, we went to New York City Opera to see Gilbert & Sullivan's comic opera Patience, starring Michael Ball. She was a very kind - very innocent, too, in the ways of the world - lady dealt a shitty hand of cards by the gods and a rotten, manipulative mother.
-
Oh no! Not sweet Danise! I'm so sorry to hear this
-
Today Access-a-Ride will take me to my pharmacy for my many, many meds before I head to City Center. The weather at the moment stinks, so I hope it improves.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
My brain hasn't quite engaged yet.
-
You may not notice any difference, however.
-
Good morning to everyone. I hope you have a great week
-
Good morning, all.
-
I had a twinge another kidney stone could be on its way. I seriously hope not. But we shall see.
-
I got a boxed set of Hugo Alfven symphonies from the library. Swedish composer from Sweden. Imagine the boisterous baby of Sibelius and Johann Strauss. Highly enjoyable.
-
Wordle 5, Phoodle 2. An inverse of yesterday’s results.
-
I really really hope not, DR John G.
-
TOD:
My eclectic list mixes some of the establishment with a few more obscure composers:
J. S. Bach (always #1 for me)
Ludwig van Beethoven
Benjamin Britten
Maurice Duruflé
Samuel Barber
Aaron Copland
Leonard Bernstein
Robert Baksa (highly imaginative American chamber music composer)
Herbert Howells
Ralph Vaughan Williams
Morten Lauridsen
Eric Whitacre
and Levar Ravel, too, of course.
-
Monday morning greetings.
I’m stunned and saddened to hear of Danise’s passing.
-
A Scotsman walks into a bar. He notices an animal head mounted on the wall. He asks the bartender, "What's that?"
The bartender replies, "It's a moose."
The Scotsman's eyes widen, and he exclaims, "Bloody 'el. If that's a moose, I don't want to see yer rats!"

-
Did you hear about the new Verdi production at the Met?
It seemed like a good Aida at the time.
-
[insert rim shot here]
-
Let's get off this page.
-
TWO!!
-
Monday.
I remember when DR DANISE was on a talk show....was it Anderson Cooper?
I when she had all that trouble with that contractor who was taking her money and not doing work on her house.....I have followed her on Facebook as well.
Rest in peace, DR DANISE.
-
DAKOTA CELT is Sarah and she lives in North Dakota....I think.
-
TOD:
I will go with DR ELMORE's list.
-
Congrats to DR JOHN G on his millstone.
-
Good morning!
-
So sorry to hear about DR Danise.
-
DR George. could I please have a DVD ? Thanks!

DR George. could I please have a DVD ? Thanks!
Yes, you can, Kevin.
-
Good morning, all.
-
A calm but busy Monday morning so far.
-
I only knew Danise from what were probably her later postings here, and she seemed like someone who truly had a very dark cloud hanging over her. The ripoff contractor situation rings a bell, and I think I recall a string of bad luck in various ventures being the norm…sad to say.
-
From DR Singdaw:
The last crafty thing I did involved popsicle sticks. About 55 years ago.
;D
-
Bruce, this might be easier for you since you have so many friends. Go to my Facebook page and look at our mutual friends. You will see Danise and Sarah (with the wolf avatar) who is Dakota Celt.
-
From DR TCB:
I am sorry. I can’t get past Danise passing away.
I am having the same problem and I knew how sick she was. I contemplated saying something here but didn't feel right doing so.
-
Bruce was not at the big NY gathering when Jose took us on the all day walking/eating tour.
-
TCB, your memory is excellent. Danise was very happy how nice we all were to her after her bad experience with the other group.
-
Bruce, the price of eggs and chicken have increased because of an outbreak of avian flu.
My niece has seven chickens and we put up netting over the otherwise open outside area so that it might help prevent outside birds that might have avian flu from infecting her chickens. :-\
Vibes they continue to stay healthy!

I had a twinge another kidney stone could be on its way. I seriously hope not. But we shall see.
Oh no! Vibes you are wrong!
-
There is a heartwarming video of Danise online.
It’s a lovely interview with her, in which she shows how the community helped restore the interior of her home after a contractor destroyed it.
-
She enjoyed doing that interview. Do you have the link for it?
-
I believe I found it with her full name, Danise Hegerty and ABC.
-
I have to go. When I return I will share a bit from the long email I received from DR Danise's dear friend Thelma.
-
Looking for the link.
I think it was through ABC and littlethings.com
-
DR Elmore, what’s the latest on the publication of Annabelle and Thatch?
Really looking forward to reading it!
-

Thanks, maybe I will find it on her Facebook page. I have watched it a few times in the past.

She was a very kind - very innocent, too, in the ways of the world - lady dealt a shitty hand of cards by the gods and a rotten, manipulative mother.
She was a sweet soul, to be sure, plagued by life's mysterious ugliness at times. May she rest in peace.

Thanks.
-
I have sent Thelma a long response to her email. I forwarded the condolences to her, as she is truly the person who will miss Danise the most. They talked every morning.
-
Danise was home and Toby was with her when she passed away. Thelma was with her on Friday. They spoke on the phone a few times Saturday morning, and then Thelma could not reach her in the afternoon :(
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep. I'll futz and finesse shortly, but then have to go out and to an errand.
-
Yes, I remember now - Danise and Sarah was/is Dakota Celt.
-
Good afternoon.
-
It is very sad about Danise. I knew from her Facebook posts that she was quite ill. I am very surprised they kept discharging her from the hospital over and over in the last couple of weeks.
-
I am home from City Center and pharmacy. Access-a-Ride was really good today. I must feed the cats now.

DR Elmore, what’s the latest on the publication of Annabelle and Thatch?
Really looking forward to reading it!
Well, that's a good question! I was told by March, but I need to check in with the publisher and learn two things: how his health is at the present and how the book ahead of me is progressing.
-
Good news from DR ELMORE.....yes I am also very excited about your book.
That photo of Annabelle yesterday was most excellent.
-
Yes, I remember now - Danise and Sarah was/is Dakota Celt.
I am glad you remember now.

It is very sad about Danise. I knew from her Facebook posts that she was quite ill. I am very surprised they kept discharging her from the hospital over and over in the last couple of weeks.
When we chatted briefly on the 31st she was tired having just returned from picking up prescriptions from the pharmacy. I wondered why she was home. That night she was back in the ER.
Saturday she told Thelma she was feeling a little better, just tired. I hope she just went to sleep.

A fun handrail.

Futzed and finessed for ninety minutes, wrote a few lines, then did the errand. Food is ordered and I'll now write as many pages as I can.
-
I’m being asked when we use the word accidently.
To quote Lily Gardland, Never. That is the word I seek. Never! That is the word I shriek!
-
Criminently!

The kids stopped on the way to the airport. The visit cheered me up, but now they have left I am sad :(

I survived physical therapy.
Whew! Good news, John!
-
The therapist cut off some of the scabs.

I have to start applying cold packs in the evening, heat in the morning.
-
Onward!
-
Four!
-
Good news, DR John G.
-
Montecito is being evacuated.
-
I have to start applying cold packs in the evening, heat in the morning.
That's pretty darn close to having the sun in the morning and the moon at night.
-
And would we really want it any other way?
-
Food was good - Daughter's Deli thanks to a 60% off coupon.
-
I've written eight pages so far so depending on how I feel after we finish the long rehearsal, I might be able to do seven more.
-
That rehearsal going to be L - O - N - G.
-
Hope you don't have any meddling parents, BK.
-
Or are they called stage parents?
-
Well, in any case.
-
A fun handrail.
That's really cool!
It was done by the German artist Karl-Henning Seemann.
-
MegaMillions is over a billion dollars?
-
That would buy a few groceries.
-
I survived physical therapy.
Yay. Vibes you feel improvement tomorrow. When do you return again?
-
The hand seems to be healing.
Wonderful.

The therapist cut off some of the scabs.
Nice.

I love the name of her deli.
-
Hi all - stopped in to say hi. Things are going well. I'm up to 2 dogs again, JP will turn 8 months in a few days. He and Leo are the best of pals. I'm thankful they get along so well. Two peas in a pod. It's nice to be able to do shows again, etc. teaching all day, shows at night - almost like the "before times". All is well.
-
Hi DR Matthew. It is nice to hear all is going well.
-
My elephant stamps arrived today, in a large envelope for such a small amount.
-
Montecito is being evacuated.
I hope they find the five year old boy who was swept away in the floods safe and alive.
-
And would we really want it any other way?
No, Irving. We wouldn’t.
-
Hi, Matthew!
-
I survived physical therapy.
Yay. Vibes you feel improvement tomorrow. When do you return again?
In a week. I have to learn how to massage the fingers to prevent scar tissue.
-
Why are we still on four?
-
Four on the floor.
-
Let’s move four out the door.
-
It’s such a bore.
-
Five.
-
Je t’adore.
-
We’re still on five?
-
Call me fickle.
-
I survived physical therapy.
Yay. Vibes you feel improvement tomorrow. When do you return again?
In a week. I have to learn how to massage the fingers to prevent scar tissue.
That is important.
-
My reading choices have been rather sad, excellent books just sad ones.
-
First up was The Escape Artist: The Man Who Broke Out of Auschwitz to Warn the World. As if the book wasn't difficult enough until he, and his friend, escaped. Almost as depressing was what happened AFTER he warned the world.
-
Then I read The Measure which I found excellent, intriguing, and while scifi, it relates to what has been going on with our world. The book was nominated for the Goodreads 2022 Science Fiction and best Debut novel.
-
I recommend both books.
-
Now I need to read something lighter.
-
'night
-
Grocery run accomplished.
-
I like going early in the morning or late at night to avoid the crowds.
-
That has only the slight setback of not always having the best selection.
-
I keep reading today's topic title as "ravishing ravioli."
-
Which wouldn't be untrue; they usually are.
-
:)
-
No offense meant, DR John G.
-
I noticed when I went to pay for the groceries that there wasn't 1 billion dollars in my checking account.
-
I don't know when the lottery drawing is, but perhaps I should file a PayPal dispute.
-
I blame Tiler Peck.
-
Remember years ago, when we used to post "Sean Young, Sean Young," and she would suddenly appear and post?
-
Good times.
-
I imagine BK is now about half way through his L - O - N - G rehearsal.
-
I'm vamping here, folks.
-
I figure I should get us to page six before I retire.
-
Who am I kidding? I'll never be able to afford to retire.
-
If you buy new tires, is that re-tiring?
-
Oh, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel.
-
This is it.
-
Six!
-
Vamping or cramping?
-
Good night, friends.
-
Or possibly glamping?
-
Vamping or cramping?
I'm vamping. Which engenders cramping for everyone else.
-
Sorry.
-
But a post is a post.
-
I’m back to my antiwar movie, Wooden Crosses/Les Croix du Bois.
-
Enjoy, DR John G. - if that's appropriate for a war movie.
-
Good night (again), friends.
-
Montecito is being evacuated.
:o
-

Thanks for the update, Matthew!
-
This movie for the early 1030s doesn’t shy away from the horrors of war. The bombs and cannons and machine guns are belching nonstop. It’s relentless.
-
And then when it gets quiet, it’s even more horrifying, because the threat is so palpable.
-
My elephant stamps arrived today, in a large envelope for such a small amount.
And speaking of arriving...
-
Thanks so much, Jane! :-*

Good night (again), friends.
Oh, my goodness! :o I just noticed that we missed a momentous millstone for Singdaw which happened sometime yesterday.
-
Congratulations, Singdaw.
-
Don’t look, Jane. This sounds/looks ridiculously delicious.

-
Started listening to Michelle Obama read The Light We Carry. She’s on a section describing Lin-Manuel Miranda performing songs from Hamilton for the first time.
-
I enjoy spending time with her.
-
Good night, all.
-
First night of Matilda - deceptionaly difficult score, but I think we'll have fun (high school production).
-
Rehearsal is finally over. Holey moley on rye - a marathon. But very good kids.
-
We are having quite the big rainstorm - it is really coming down and has been since around three - we even had thunder and lightning.
-
Trying to write more pages now - I'd love to do three more, then five after that for fifteen.
-

That sounds yummy!!
-
And now, since we're so close...
-
PAGE SEVEN DANCE!! ;D
-
No TCB.
-
No posts for almost an hour.
-
Page eight far off in the distance.
-
Lowest posting day in two months.
-
George must have gone down another damn rabbit hole.
-
Not me.
-
I was writing notes.
-
I will have to take a twenty-minute break before trying to write three more pages.
-
Paging page eight.
-
If only George hadn't posted and run for the hills.
-
We might have made it.
-
But nooooo, he ran for the damn hills.
-
Is anybody there?
-
Does anybody care?
-
Does anybody see what I see?
-
Which is no one in the jernt but me.
-
Not one other person.
-
Just me and my shadow walking down the avenue.
-
I'm just a wandering child.
-
I guess I'll keep going because heaven knows George ain't coming back to help.
-
Just me.
-
Seems unseemly.
-
One of our kids told me their father went to Hamilton High, my high school. I said when? The 1990s. I gotta tell you.
-
Well, I see George but I don't see posts.
-
Six minutes to new notes.
-
Can it be done?
-
Are we even close?
-
George is just sitting there like a dead herring in the moonlight.
-
Name that movie.
-
No help.
-
Can it be done?
Of course, it can be done.
-
Page eight has entered the room, thanks solely to me.
-
Well, we still have a few minutes.
-
Raining.
-
Really coming down.
-
I can't think of anything to post...which has never stopped anyone before. ;)
-
George dearest, make with the posts.
-
Exactly.
-
When has it ever stopped any of us?
-
Really coming down.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
-
I love the sound of the rain.
-
And the sound of the rain loves me.
-
I'm almost used to my car again.
-
It is a mutual admiration society.
-
I dreamed I went dancing in my Maidenform Bra.
-
It was fun.
-
I drove my sister's car for over a month before mine got fixed.
-
Tonight, I did some shopping for my sister.
-
And just like that, it stops and just like that it starts up again even harder.
-
Not a lot, just a few things.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
Not necessarily in that order.
-
One thing she wanted was some refrigerated cookie dough, so I got some with toffee bits and pecans.
-
When I brought it all to her house, she baked the cookie dough...quite delish!
-
And now...
-
PAGE NINE DANCE!!
