Well, you've read the notes, the notes were speedy, and now it is time for you to post until the speedy cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PRUDENCE!
-
Didn’t post fast enough.
-
The company is DFL Naturals.
I was able to test purchase Solace and put it in my online shopping cart.
-
TCB, a balm is more soothing than a cream.
It’s meant to be used on hands and joints.
-
Well, since I’m the last one here, I’ll go and turn off the lights.
Good night, all.
-
Got to fourteen pages, so that's good. Could stay up and do one more but it's already two and if I can get up at ten then I'll catch up on the one page.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I am having a helluva morning with this wonky computer.
-
I'm still sore and my right hip still tender, but I'm staying inside today. I have no urge to cvrawl up stairs if my legs aren't up to helpiong me walk up, and I have housework and ballet wotk to attend to. I'll go back to City Center on Monday.
-
I just heard the Funny Girl commercial with the former star of Glee, and I really hate both her voice and her pronunciation.

Good morning, all.

She’s still doing a Streisand impersonation.

Slept right through the night but feel tired

Good morning, friends.
-
DR vixmom, I am glad to hear that there is a least a little glimmer of progress.
-
DR elmore3003, I am glad that you are staying home today.
-
Thrilled to hear that DR TCB has found some relief, at last.
-
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, DR George!!!!!!
-
:)
-
Good morning, all.
-
Let’s all enjoy a nice, calm, quiet, uneventful Friday the 13th, shall we?
-
BK, I sympathize with your writing frustration, but take it easy on yourself. What would be the worst that could happen if you don't write 15 pages every single day?
-
Two!
-
I concur, DR ChasSmith.
-
Let's be calm and not rock the boat.
-
So to speak.
-
Open enrollment ends Sunday at midnight. We are not working on Sunday, but we are working all day Saturday. So I expect today and tomorrow will be very busy.
-
And we observe the holiday Monday, so that will be a nice break.
-
I just heard the Funny Girl commercial with the former star of Glee, and I really hate both her voice and her pronunciation.
She’s still doing a Streisand impersonation.
It's poor one: Streisand never uttered such affected pronunciation.
-
For folks with infinite kitchen counter space, I give you: the Presto waffle bowl maker.
-
We’re picking our own subject today, and I’ll stick to the standard one. This week I watched the new Blu-ray of INVADERS FROM MARS (1953) which is a gem of restoration.
But wait, there’s more! On Sunday morning I’ll be at the exquisite Bedford Playhouse watching it again, in 4k on the 38-foot screen, along with Robert Harris and the film’s restorer Scott MacQueen who will be presenting it and having a Q&A session afterward.
So that’s one way to spend a Sunday. Right? It’s an ugly job, but somebody’s got to do it. Right? Now, if I could just go right from there to the Kritzerland show, I’d really be doing all right, wouldn’t I? Wouldn’t that be one HELL of a day?
-
In further news, last night I watched for my first time ever:
RACE WITH THE DEVIL (1975) with Peter Fonda and Warren Oates.
Whoa. Holy moley.
It’s on a double feature Blu-ray with DIRTY MARY CRAZY LARRY which is what I was thinking of watching when I pulled it out. But I decided to broaden my horizons, and so I did. As I sit here right now, in this recliner, they’re pretty damned broad.
-
Sounds like fun, ChasSmith.
-
My weekend includes volunteering for the cocktail conference’s coffee brunch.
-
Friday morning greetings! Like DR Ron, I felt like yesterday was Friday, so today seems like Saturday.
-
Whatever day it is, I get to continue putting away Christmas decorations. Richard says, “What’s the rush?”

Last year, when we had the early ‘60s aluminum tree up for the first time in a decade or longer, it ended up sticking around till sometime in March!
(Which, if blame is to be assigned, is no one’s fault but my own, as I am the only one permitted to put that tree up and take it down.) 8)
-
ChasSmith: The Ultimate Take-Down sounds like it would be quite exciting and suspenseful, no?
-
Will he or won't he?
-
Stay tuned to find out.

Good morning!

Vibes for all!
-
Continued writing vibes for MR BK.
-
Healing vibes for all of our Dear Readers suffering pain.....
-
DR TCB a member of congress must have FIVE years of service to qualify for the pension plan.....the LIFETIME pension plan.
-
So a one-term senator qualifies, but a one term representative does not......I'm surprised they haven't voted to change that.
-
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, DR George!!!!!!
Umm...thanks??
-
A carefully made - nay, exquisitely made - two-egg-and-swiss sandwich is resting happily in my belly.
-
Oh. If you mean my college graduation on the only Friday the 13th of 1986, that actually happened in June. ::)
-
But happy anniversary anyway, George!
-
And a very merry unbirthday, too.
-
Three!
-
A very merry unbirthday to all of us.
-
A carefully made - nay, exquisitely made - two-egg-and-swiss sandwich is resting happily in my belly.
In a waffle cup? ;)
-
Sorry, DR George. I'm a silly goose.
-
DR TCB, I am glad you have your pain medication.
-
I ordered an OP 3-CD opera set from an Amazon Marketplace vendor. It arrived yesterday and I just picked it up: no accompanying booklet and libretto and no third CD. Now I have to deal with refund and returning the damned thing. Really pisses me off.
-
TCB, I did not share all of Thelma's email, just mentioned a bit from it.
-
I never imagined Lisa Marie actually slept with Michael Jackson.
-
My back has settled down to a dull constant ache
Back ache be gone vibes!

Which is better than the sharp debilitating pains I was dealing with, so progress!
Yes, much better than sharp debilitating pains.
-
BK, I sympathize with your writing frustration, but take it easy on yourself. What would be the worst that could happen if you don't write 15 pages every single day?
I agree.
-
Open enrollment ends Sunday at midnight. We are not working on Sunday, but we are working all day Saturday. So I expect today and tomorrow will be very busy.
What happens to the people who want to enroll on the last day?
-
Healing vibes for all of our Dear Readers suffering pain.....
DITTO!
-
But happy anniversary anyway, George!
And a very merry unbirthday, too.
Thanks, John, and to you, too!
-
Sorry, DR George. I'm a silly goose.

No problem at all. We all at one time or another. :D

Damn them! Damn them all to hell! >:(

DR Jane - they go without insurance for the year, or sometimes they can buy a limited private plan off-market. If they experience a qualifying event of some kind (like loss of other coverage, or a birth in the family), they can receive a limited window to enroll.
-
I'm up, I'm up - maybe seven hours of sleep.
-
Of course, I don't have to write fifteen pages a day, it just became a thing and I'm trying to get this down while it's fresh in my head every day. But I'm not going to worry at all about this weekend. I'll write what I can each day and that will be that.
-
Well, this is cool...Graham Phillips & Krystina Alabado to Star in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE at Pasadena Playhouse (https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Graham-Phillips-Krystina-Alabado-to-Star-in-SUNDAY-IN-THE-PARK-WITH-GEORGE-at-Pasadena-Playhouse-20230112).
The production will run Tuesday, February 14 to Sunday, March 19.
-
In the cast are Liz Larsen as Old Lady/Blair, and Marc Ginsburg! :)

While that is very interesting, I was referring to the fact that enrollment was open through Sunday, except you are not open to enroll anyone.
-
Futzed and finessed a lot but I was surprised how much I liked what I'd written. Then I did over two new pages and I'll try to do a few more before rehearsal begins.
-
I think it will be awhile before they get these ski lifts working again.

Oh, my goodness!! 😱
-
Oh, look! Jane has passed a posting plateau! ;D
-
Had my little pepperoni pizza for food - quick and easy - and have written eight new pages and I may write another couple before the rehearsal, and then maybe a few more after, if I'm not too wasted.
-
Where's page four?
-
Shouldn't we already be on page four?
-
Shouldn't we already be on page five?
-
I think we should.
-
Congrats to DR JANE on her millstone.
-
Sorry DR ELMORE.....I hate it when that happens.
-
Friday....it doesn't seem like it....I don't know what it seems like....but not Friday.
-
Congratulations, Jane.
-
Traffic was ridiculous tonight. So, I stopped for a burger. The fries and onion rings were disappointing.
-
Oh, look! Jane has passed a posting plateau! ;D
:o Thanks for mentioning it.
-
I’m enjoying a wonderful book called The Book of Goose, by Yiyun Li. It’s like Frances Hodgson Burnett meets Murial Spark. Quite enjoyable.
-
Three-day weekend. Yay!!!!!
-
Congrats to DR JANE on her millstone.
Thanks.
-
Congratulations, Jane.
Thank you.
-
My iphone says I need to manage my icloud storage. Now I need to figure out what to do about that.
-
I don't intentionally put anything into my iCloud.
-
Is that like saying does this iPhone make me look fat?
-
Or is my iPhone hanging out?
-
Traffic was ridiculous tonight. So, I stopped for a burger. The fries and onion rings were disappointing.
That's too bad about the fries and onion rings, John. :-\
-
Today, I went to the local Eagan's burger joint and got a chili cheeseburger with tater tots, all of which were quite delish.
-
Listening to Ned Rorem's Organ Concerto (late 1980's). Dissonant, but also very romantic in spots.
-
Congratulations on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament, DR Jane.
-
I now understand what you were asking. My group does not serve the general public. The lines that support the general public are open until 10PM on Sunday night.
-
I’m enjoying a wonderful book called The Book of Goose
I must be ahead of my time. I mentioned goose earlier today in these here postings.
-
Is that like saying does this iPhone make me look fat?
;D

That's too bad about the fries and onion rings, John. :-\
Yes, if you eat food bad for you it should be worth it;)
-
Congratulations on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament, DR Jane.
Thank you.
-
I now understand what you were asking. My group does not serve the general public. The lines that support the general public are open until 10PM on Sunday night.
Thank you for explaining.
-
I have an additional GB by deleting Keith's old iPhone.
-
I need to clear out much more than that.
-
Back to my research.
-
Does anyone actually go to their iCloud for anything?
-
I am about to go to my photos and turn off iCloud which will delete all of my photos there. The only ones saved will be the ones on my phone. I am a bit nervous I will also lose the ones on my phone.
-
I am going to do research, too.
-
On Cheez Whiz.
-
;)
-
Which isn't really cheese.
-
I don't know if it's Whiz.
-
If ever a Whiz there wuz.
-
But if's Friday night.
-
Time to splurge.
-
Time to dance.
-
Time to throw caution to the winds.
-
Time to loosen the shackles.
-
And shake off the cares of the week.
-
Footloose,
-
And fancy free.
-
I don't know if the fancy is of any great quality
-
If it's free.
-
Such are the vagaries of life.
-
Finally made it home.
-
I am still not sure the photos I can see on my phone will not be deleted. Therefore I have not turned off the iCloud option.
-
Finally made it home.
Enjoy your evening.
-
Nothing grabbed my interest at first. So I decided on Carmen Jones. Haven’t watched it in a while. I like Hammerstein’s lyrics. Otto Preminger just wasn’t the best musical director.
-
Dorothy Dandridge is wonderful.
-
Where’s page six?
-
How’s tricks?
-
When you’re watching flicks?
-
With or without sticks.
-
In the mix.
-
Don’t say nix.
-
Here’s six!
-
But seven is heaven, they say.
-
:)
-
Page Seven.
-
It's Torchy Blane night on TCM.
-
I think I will make some mac and cheese tomorrow.....still debating about that or a tuna casserole......we shall see what tomorrow brings.
-
'night
-
How about 'toad in the hole,' DR Jrand72?
-
If they packaged the symphonies of Arnold Bax, it would be a Bax Box.
-
They have packaged the works of Bach; that is a Bach Box.
-
It's funny that way.
-
The way that works.
-
The Whimsy Works.
-
OK. Enough stuff and nonsense.
-
Let's get serious.
-
Oh, who am I kidding.
-
The proof is in the pudding.
-
There are other things in the pudding, too.
-
But we don't talk about it.
-
We just don't.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Good night, sir.
-
I have begun to fade.
-
But we’re so close to seven.
-
It’s time to turn that page.
-
Patti Page.
-
Bettye Page.
-
Satchel Page.
-
Janis Paige.
-
It’s all the rage.
-
Seven!
-
Good night, all.
-
Traffic was ridiculous tonight. So, I stopped for a burger. The fries and onion rings were disappointing.
That's too bad about the fries and onion rings, John. :-\
Yes, if you eat food bad for you it should be worth it ;)
Exactly!
-
I made it through another Friday, even if I did misstate the first name of the NY Congressman named Santos.
While trying to figure out why I called him David instead of his name -- George-- I had a flashback to figure skater David Santee. That has to be the corrupter!!
-
And, of course, our poor DR George must contend with that imposter bearing the same first name.
-
Rehearsal was fun.
-
So far, I've managed to bang out nine pages and will definitely do a couple more for sure before bed. For now, I'll write the notes, but, page seven? Really.
-
You do know page eight is waiting in the wings.
-
As am I.
-
Patiently.
-
Well, maybe not patiently.
-
Where’s page six?
How’s tricks?
When you’re watching flicks?
With or without sticks.
In the mix.
Don’t say nix.
Get your kicks
On Route 66!
-
And, of course, our poor DR George must contend with that imposter bearing the same first name.
Ugg. :P
-
We played Phase 10 at my mom's (of course), and I won the first game by only five, count 'em, FIVE points!
-
My mom won the second game...by a lot more than five points.
-
She was very happy.
-
After the two games, I went to the Lacey Fred Meyer.
-
I got there at about 9:45, and almost forgot that they close at 10:00 pm.
-
The Tumwater Fred Meyer (my regular store) doesn't close until 11:00.
-
I don't know why the closing times are different.
-
Gratuitous Post #200!!
-
No TCB.
-
Page seven.
-
Even though page eight has been waiting in the wings for HOURS.
-
As have I.
-
This is not the way things are done.
-
I has spoken.
-
George has disappeared.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
I found them fascinating.
-
Page eight has made its much delayed entrance.
-
About damn time, too.
-
George is being obstinate.
-
He's just sitting there like so much fish.
-
He will not post.
-
See?
-
No TCB.
-
George has gone down a rabbit hole.
-
I have not.
-
I am above ground.
-
I am above board.
-
I am Spartacus.
-
No, I am Spartacus.
-
I'm Spartacus.
-
No, I'm Spartacus.
-
I'm old fashioned.
-
Or maybe just old.
-
No help from George who just sits there.
-
We see you, George, but we do NOT see posts.
-
Therefore you shall be flogged like Judge Turpin.
-
That's the way it is.
-
Okay, I'm tired of this monologue.
-
But first....
-
A nice round number.
-
Oops, now it's not a round number anymore.
-
I hate when that happens.
-
Guess I'll open the new topic.
-
I guess I just will
-
Page nine has made its much delayed entrance after an entire page of ME.
