Well, you've read the notes, the notes were unplugged, and now it is time for you to post until the unplugged cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: WELKIN!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Glad everyone was able to pull through the loss of the sound system.
-
Good morning, all!
-
DR Jeanne, as one whose bathroom ceiling has fallen 4-6 times in the past 42 years here, I sympathize completely with your situation. I do hope it's resolved quickly to your satisfaction.
-
I slept rather well. Thatch returned to his old sleeping post next to my pillow, so I slept happily and comfortably with both A & T for most of the night. Around 5:00 Stella showed up, very bossy and demanding hugs and cuddles, when all I wanted was another hour of sleep.
-
DR vixmom, thanks for the happy news about DR WFO.
-
DR TCB, your belated birthday celebrations yesterday sound fantastic. I'm very happy for you.
-
DR vixmom, I'm sorry the chill is giving your back some trouble.
-
I need to call Access-a-Ride for tomorrow's trek to City Center. Today, I need to finish the piano arrangement of one ballet number that only exists in the violin rehearsal score. I got about 2/3 of it written yesterday.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I’m up early on a Sunday because of the 11:00 am showing of INVADERS FROM MARS.
I also stayed up too late last night.
Coffee!
-
I hope there will be some audio and video evidence of Kritzerland Unplugged!
-
Happy Birthday-and-a-Half to TCB!

Good morning I must rush because I overslept a bit and must get me to church
-
I’ll wordle while coffeeing and then must run

Thinking about church was helpful

Today I must read the lesson and serve communion

I am glad Elmore is feeling well enough to go out tomorrow
-
I wish he were coming with me to the play today
-
I am feeling still achy so I am taking the train and intending to head right home afterwards
-
Vibes for all
-
I am glad you are feeling well enough to attend the play, DR vixmom.
-
Good morning!
-
Wordle: No luck today. There were too many words with similar letters.
-
Good to hear that WFO is better.

Good morning, all.
-
I slept fairly well. Would like more.

I wish he were coming with me to the play today
I wish I were too!
I don't know a thing about the play, but I know all three performers: Danny's a dear friedn, I worked with Nathan Lane on his Boston Pops concert, and I worked with Zoe Wanamaker, whom I adore, on the Encores! production of Zorba (she was heartbreaking) as the old whore. I gave her a program for the first London production of Threepenny Opera, which her father directed.
-
Besides being a fantastic reed player, Joshie's brother Jeremy is a fantastic artist! He was playing the Broadway production of Into the Woods and drawing on his orchestra parts. I've asked him if he wants to illustrate the A&T stories.
-
Wow, DR elmore3003 - that's amazing!

Enjoyed the video clips you posted last night, DR John G.

Greetings from the Bedford Playhouse.

OMG, who knew??
Well, I didn’t. Those are beautiful.
-
They are beautiful, Elmore.

Elmore, I was hoping we would be able to grab dinner tonight but between your legs and my back and the cold and wind I think it’s better put off for a bit

Well if I run into any of them I’ll drop your name liberally :D

I finished my ballet work, ad I have the remainder of the day to myself.

I doubt Nathan or Zoe would remember me by name. maybe if they saw me.

HA!
-
I broiled a couple of steaks and baked some biscuits - so now I have something to eat with the mac and cheese which in this case is more CHEESE and mac.....
-
Good news about DR WFO.....I hope we get a Broadway Report from DR VIXMOM.
-
DR CHAS SMITH's movie should be ending about now.....
-
Show and SOUND vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
I guess I am not a very observant person. I read all about the new 3D version of GOG....a 1954 sci fi film from Ivan Tors.
It seemed to me that the Blu Ray could be shown on my television....not in the 4K version but in the anaglyph version viewed with red/blue glasses.
I ordered it - and a couple of other 3D Blu Rays......and of course I need a 3D BluRay player AND a 3D television (which I don't think they even make anymore) to view it. Although I can view the 2D version......
-
So I guess now I have to read everything THREE or FOUR times before I order anything. I still don't see on the AMAZON sight where it says MUST HAVE.......TO VIEW.....

We had some good food, including a coffee french toast that like a bread pudding with some coffee custard and whipped horchata cream on top.
I agree with DR Vixmom, "Oh my goodness that sounds wonderful".
-
Great news that DR WFO has returned to rehab. I hope he can go home soon.
-
Continued back healing vibes for DR Vixmom.
-
Healing vibes for all of us that need them.
-
DR TCB I have very happy you finally had your birthday celebration with Sharry & Micheal.
-

Isn’t it supposed to be more cheese than mac? Lower carb, right?

Three!

A very merry unbirthday to Tom!
-
A lazy Sunday afternoon. My favorite kind.

If any of the actors falls off the stage theyll be in my lap
-
I want to live in a house with a vast, comfortable personal library and just read and listen to good music all day long. An occasional movie might also be permitted.
-
Exciting, DR vixmom. Although it might not do your back any good.

Sounds like a plan. :)
-
And now, I must be off. I'm picking up my niece, then we're going to my mom's to take down her (manufactured) Christmas tree. Then sometime later, my sister and her boyfriend will come over and we'll have out quasi-weekly family dinner.
Until later!

I hadn't thought about that, hopefully it will feel good to sit.
-
Back from the movie, which was stunning on that big screen, even after watching the same transfer on Blu-ray twice in the past couple of weeks.
-
DR Jrand72, I'll have to dig out my copy, but are you sure that the GOG Blu-ray has an anaglyph (I almost put an "L" in there, which felt right when I first typed it, but ... oops) 3-D version on the disc? If it does, you don't need anything special except the red/blue glasses, just a decent flat-screen TV. Is a pair of the glasses included?
I think. I'd better shut up and go check.
THE VERDICT: No, sadly, it does not include an anaglyph 3-D version. Mine only has the polarized type requiring the actual 3-D player and TV. They've included anaglyph on some later releases, but not GOG.
Does this even begin to answer the question? Sorry for confusion.
-
I'm up, I'm up - maybe six hours of sleep - probably shouldn't have eaten as rich a dish so late, but alas... I fear no writing until I get home, but I did do a couple more pages when I was up early. I didn't fall asleep until six-thirty. I'll futz and finesse, though.

A question for whomsoever uses a Mac or an iPad and reads Facebook using the Safari browser:
When you're in your feed, or timeline, whatever it's called, is it scrolling and behaving all right for you? At some point yesterday it started jumping around and scrolling (in big jumps) uncontrollably, and that's continuing today. After all of these years, right out of the blue, that's what it's doing. But only on my "feed". When I enter a group page or anyone else's page, it behaves again.
It's happening on the MacBook, the iPad, and the iPhone. Oh wait, maybe I didn't try the iPhone. But the fix for it on the Mac just now is to use Chrome instead of Safari. I'll be trying that on the iPad next.
-
I just tested my iPhone and it was fine.
-
I have noticed on my computer, when I "like" a post the page jumps up a few posts and I have to scroll back down to where I was.
-
I do not have an Apple computer and am not using a Safari browser.
-
I have noticed on my computer, when I "like" a post the page jumps up a few posts and I have to scroll back down to where I was.
I've had that happen, too, but only a few times - very intermittently.

It jumps around like a god damned flea! I have to go to Opera to get a sane Facebook page.

I have soul-crushing news. It's doing it in Chrome, too, on the iPad. Chrome worked on the Mac, but no go otherwise. I'll install Opera and give that a try. Won't hurt to have it on hand on both.
-
DR JOHN G mine is very LOW CARB.
-
Yes DR CHAS SMITH there is no Anaglyph (no L) option......that makes me very sad.
I'm hoping the other couple of disks I ordered have them.
-
Everyone is complaining about the jumping around thing. I haven't had that issue on the computer.
-
Futzed and finessed and wrote a couple of new pages and will definitely write at least five more when I get home, since I'm in the middle of a fun section.
-
Already shaved, so in about fifteen minutes I'll shower, then I'll leave here around three-thirty.
-
Page three seems awfully - three-ish.
-
After all, page four is waiting in the wings.
-
As am I.
-
Page four has made its entrance.
-
Page five is waiting in the wings.
-
As am I.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
I, for example, know it.
-
Because I'm there.

Consider yourself lucky.
-
Even though my jumping is minor, it isn't fun with a migraine. I'm fine now but I have been having more of them lately.
-
Thankfully my migraines are mild.

I didn’t know you were moving in.
-
I shall now be on my way to The Gardenia for sound check and show.
-
Vibes for BK and company.
-
I opted to stay home and rest my knee today. Now I wish I had gone for a walk.
-
Stirring from a nap.
-
My sister ndex finger is swollen and not terribly flexible today.
-
I had never read any Russell Banks, who died recently. So, I tried a collection of his stories, A Permanent Member of the Family. Some were quite funny, most were effective and efficient. I make look into more.
-
My sister ndex finger is swollen and not terribly flexible today.
I am sorry. Are setbacks expected? Maybe you need to rest your finger more.
-
I’ve now started The Facemaker. It’s about the surgeon who pioneered plastic surgery to help soldiers disfigured in World War I.
-

I thought about reading something of his but none of the books grabbed my attention. Maybe in the future one will.

Dunno. It was never mentioned. I have PT Tuesday.

I’m putting some heat on it now. It feels good.

You can ask then. My personal experience, is that setbacks happen.
-
I’m putting some heat on it now. It feels good.
Did you do ice first for the swelling?
-
I’m only Supposed to do ice before bed. Heat when I get up.
-
Let’s get off this page.
-
Five’s all the rage.

Four needs to age.

Five!
-
I’m only Supposed to do ice before bed. Heat when I get up.
That is a good reason not to have to ice. I do not like being cold.
-
I think Facebook fixed the problem. For now all is fine.

Pictures From Home ( I kept typing Photographs, it’s Pictures) was amazing .
It made us laugh and cry.
All three of them were absolutely perfect, I don’t have a single quibble.
-
Elmore, if you can go absolutely spring for a front row seat, plenty of leg room, and a nice slope to get to the seats, no steps necessary.
-
Thanks for the report DR VIXMOM!
-
DR TCB your unbirthday party sounds most excellent.
-
I hope MR BK and his Co. are enjoying a good show tonight with big yocks and heavy mitts.....and of course.....SOUND.
-
My sister wants to go to Aldi this week, so we are going at 10 a.m. in the morning.
We shall see what happens.

I didn't accomplish anything more this afternoon/evening than I did this morning.
-
Which is A-OK.
-
Hope the Kritzerland crew has SOUND tonight.
-
Thanks for the theatre report, DR vixmom.
-
I am glad that some people have lives, and I get to live them vicariously.
-
Good night, friends.
-
The Critics choice winners are interesting. Glad for Sheryl Lee Ralph. And I love that RRR picked up another award for best song.
-
Here’s that song. It’s a beaut.

Back to Big Deal on Madonna Street. I would have sworn I’d seen it before, but nothing looks familiar. It is very funny.
-
A lull.
-
I’m catching up on the first episode of All Creatures’ third season, which is the wedding episode.
-
Season one of the earlier BBC version of All Creatures has come in at the library. I don’t know if I want to go back and forth, but I guess I will give it a go.
-
What I really want is to get off this page.
-
Onward!

Six!

Hi, George.
-
Good night, all.
-
Back from show two. Took forever to get out of there, almost an hour, because they pay the covers in cash. Not sure I can go back there unless we come to some understandings, which I'll explain in the notes. Having Taco Bell for food now and doing the every two weeks annoying Microsoft Office for Mac update, which means I have to reopen all my working documents once it's compete.
-
Now, listen carefully - let us not fall back to our previous ways. Let us keep our posting numbers UP, not down. Page six? Really? Not what I thought I'd be coming home to.
-
And yet, here I am, all alone.
-
Home from seeing the National Tour of Annie and it was really really good. It's one of my favorite shows, and it's always a crapshoot when go see a "professional" production of an older show, but this was stellar, bright, well sung and acted etc. Breath of fresh air for sure.
I'll need some car vibes as there seems to be a mechanical issue with the clutch. I'm on it, I'll have a mechanic look at it and I already sent an email to the deal and the credit union (who owns a percentage of the vehicle LOL) Hopefully, we can get it resolved.
Other than that, home from work tomorrow!!!!
-
BK - no one is alone
-
Clutching vibes for DR MATTHEW.
-
I may watch Satyricon which starts on TCM in 15 minutes.
I've seen bits and pieces of it here and there.
The problem of course is that Comcast will do a daily update at 3 a.m. so that I'll miss about ten minutes of it again while that happens.
-
Cash covers.....wheel covers.....bed covers.....couch covers.....book covers.....
So many......
-
No TCB. No George. No posts. Must write some notes.

Today at my mom's, we played a couple of games of Sorry.
-
We hadn't played that in a while, so it was fun to play something different.
-
After eating (I had tacos), we played our regular Phase 10.
-
My mom won.
-
Good for her. ::)
-
;D
-
Then, we left and I visited my friend Shelly.
-
We played Phase 10, and we each won a game!

I then came home from Shelly's and was going to read a bit of my book on my Kindle, but I totally zonked out.
-
I didn't even get through a couple of pages. ::)

And now, I'm awake.
-
Waiting for BK's notes. :)
-
...about tonight's Kritzerland show.
-
Did you sing Who's SORRY Now?
-
TCB is gone with the wind.

My goodness, we're rather short on postings, aren't we?
-
Like really short?
-
Super short?
