Well, you've read the notes, the notes were edited and done, and now it is time for you to post until the edited cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: INCENTIVE!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Notes absorbed, taken in, assessed.

Ditto.

For the E&T, what is the new book about, generally speaking? Or is that a secret?
-
At this time, it's a secret.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Congratulations, DR John G., on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament.
-
BK, congratulations on both the finalizing of your new book and also the ten episodes of Sami. It is so interesting learning about all the behind-the-scenes steps that are required to bring a creative project to its conclusion.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept rather well. I had a lot of dreams, none of which I now remember.
-
I did not watch the SOTU. It began just after I turned off the TV and went to bed. If I did not have a doctor's appointment this morning, I would have watched it, if only in hopes that terrorists might show up and tear Ms Taylor Greene, Ms Boebert, Mr Gaetz, Mr Jordan, Mr McCarthy, and Miss Santos to shreds.
-
So, this morning I see my urologist, Dr Glickman. Access-a-Ride will hopefully be on time.
-
I do wish I had seen Mitt Romney put down George Santos. On this morning's news I saw serial liar Sarah Huckabee Sanders, whose intelligence is surpassed only by her beauty, make a reference of Democrats as going from normal to crazy and thought, really? I don't see the Democrats in congress behaving like gorillas throwing their own feces, but I see it regularly from all those MAFA morons in the GOP.
-
Reading the reports of the bad behavior by the House Republican caucus last night, my blood pressure thanks me for not watching.
-
Who wore it better?
-
Good morning, all.
-
TOD:
Is there a score for a musical that you’d like to record? It can be one that’s been recorded or not.
-
TOD 2:
Will there be Sami merch? A DVD? A CD of the score?
-
I’m not ready to stir.
-
I don’t hear any rain. I wonder how much fell.
-
Enough to stir up some molds, I am sure.
-
Congratulations to John on his new millstone

Pain free vibes for everyone

Please send vibes and prayers for WFO, he’s back at the hospital

Being evaluated for possible mini stroke
-
The Republicans behaved stupidly last night…but then that’s their current MO so no real surprise there
-
Sarah’s speech was more about Sarah than a rebuttal…congratulating herself for being a cancer survivor, congratulating herself for being the youngest governor of her state, throwing in ‘woke” a couple of times to pander to the crazies. The rest was just bald face lies.
-
Looking forward to seeing the new book cover
-
Rodzinski, while you’re catching up…remember that little Vixter? She’s been married for 3 1/2 years now….
-
Oooh page 2!

Laughed so hard at this that I spit out my coffee! 😂

She was a lousy, dishonest press secretary. She's nothing but trailer trash, no better than Mz Taylor Greene.
-
Please send vibes and prayers for WFO, he’s back at the hospital
Oh no! What happened?
I learned in DR vixmom'x next post. I am so sorry to learn this.

I laughed out loud, too. But without liquid.
-
It’s drizzling out there. Good day to stay in.
-
I tried listening to Barbra at the Bon Soir this morning, but could only take so much. Now listening to Oscar Peterson’s On a Clear Day. Just lovely.
-
Was last night the full moon? Might explain the lunatics out in force.
-
I don't know about you, but I'm giving her a vacuum cleaner for Valentine's Day.
-
Singdaw, you hoser.
-
The thunderstorms predicted for last night have just rolled in.
-
Do any cooks here have experience using baking nails for potatoes? Just wondering if they really make a difference.
-
Got an email with the cast of Dear World. Looks wonderful.
-
I don’t nail my potatoes, but I rarely cook them anyway.
-
Congrats to DR JOHN G on his new millstone.
-
Vibes for DR WFO!
-
Very interesting notes - two MR BK projects are about to be unleashed on the unsuspecting public.
I am excited about both of them!
Continued working vibes for MR BK.
-
Of course I support our current administration and there is no comparison between it and the former idiots and fools.....
I declared myself an I at the time of the last election.....after many, many decades as an R.
I hope I live to see all of the idiots OUT of office and rattling around like tin cans in the wind.
-
The End.
-
Congratulations, DR John G., on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament.
Ditto!

I don’t hear any rain. I wonder how much fell.
No rain here and I am very happy.

I expect the tree trimmers outside my window are also happy.

Nope. I will pass, even if it saves a little bit of time.
-
Wednesday afternoon greetings! Big accomplishment: I now have removed and packed all of the ornaments from our Christmas tree. Since we leave it up until Epiphany (January 6) and I was busy through the 9th, my goal was to have it gone by our anniversary (17th). But Richard’s hospitalization and recovery pushed that project to the back burner. At least I made it before Valentine’s Day!

Who wore it better?
That’s one of the goofiest dresses I’ve ever seen. And certainly not appropriate for the occasion.

I've never heard of this. I don't think I'd try it anyway. If I'm going to bake a potato, I usually cook it in a microwave, so the nail CAN'T be used! :o
-
Well, it could. But you've have a big KA-BOOM! :)

Has anyone read Oscar Hammerstein and the Invention of the Musical?

Well, you have a good excuse, too, and it sounds like it was more fun than mine!

Has anyone read Oscar Hammerstein and the Invention of the Musical?
I put it on my Kindle the other day, but haven't started it yet.
-
I fear that if I had a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch, my "sensible dinner" would consist of the entire refrigerator.
-
I'm sorry I can't help you at the moment. My potatoes are having their nails done.
-
I'm sorry I can't help you at the moment. My potatoes are having their nails done.
Love it.
-
Today is exhausting.
-
Sorry, DR John G. I was hoping the relaxation of your bath last night would carry on through today.
-
Why does everyone sow their wild oats? Why don't they sew them? A nice cross-stitched beer cozy, for example.
-
Bless it! Are we still on Page Three?
-
It seems endless.
-
Endless, I tell you.
-
And I am telling you.
-
Four.
-
It’s a jaggery kind of day.
-
I’m not sewing wild oats. I’m not sowing them either. I prefer to let them stay wild.

Mario Lanza is on TCM singing away.

I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep. Was up at eleven as planned but knew I needed more sleep and got it.

Of course, I'm now way behind on everything.

Yes, I'd like to make a new recording of Li'l Abner using David Siegel's new orchestration that we used. As to unrecorded scores, two - Lolita, My Love and The Yearling.
-
One promise come true. He bought me a dress.

Gorgeous song.

I should really give those albums another listen.
-
I have done nothing but manipulate Excel spreadsheets all day.
-
It's certainly not physically strenuous, but my mind is fried.
-
As in, keep the home fries burning.
-
I worry about the folks in the NE corner of Arizona. The shaded areas show where Daylight Savings Time is not observed. It seems like chaos.
Maybe DR Laura can explain it.
-
Who can explain it? Who can tell you why?
-
;D

Eugene Lee has died. His sets for Sweeney were remarkable.

Good Afternoon. Vibes for DR WFO! Today is Wednesday, the "day-off" which has been spent working - par for the course on a Wednesday. Matilda rehearsal this evening. I believe we are doing "Revolting Children" - and we'll review everything else. I hope some memorization is happening! Everything else is fine.
bk- I seem to be out of the loop, but what is "Sami"?

Good evening!

Jane-Regarding the earthquake in Buffalo----yes, my sister reported hearing a crashing sound. No shaking.
-
Thanks. I knew people who felt the shaking, but didn't mention a crashing sound.
-
Listening to The Wailin' Jennys and feeling contented.
-
But there appears to be a paucity of posts.
-
Alas. Alack.
-
Five.
-
With six you get eggroll.
-
I don't know what you get with five.
-
A shave and a haircut, perhaps?
-
No; that's two bits.
-
Bits and bobs.
-
I don't know what I'm talking about.
-
But that doesn't stop me.
-
Nope.
-
Nosiree.
-
Not one little bit.

Don't blink or you'll miss it.

Don't miss or you'll blink it.

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.

Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair.
-
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy.
-
Was he?
-
Don't mind me; I'm just blathering.
-
Blathering whilst blithering.
-
But somebody has to get us to page six.
-
And, by hook or by crook
-
By this or by that
-
By green eggs or by ham
-
By paper or by plastic
-
By hither or by thither
-
By saints or by sinners
-
By salt or by pepper
-
By hill or by vale
-
By apples or by oranges
-
We will get there.
-
Six!

Eugene Lee has died. His sets for Sweeney were remarkable.
I read that a little earlier. :(

Thanks for the WFO updates, DR vixmom.

Good night, friends.
-
The opera was wild. And wonderful.
-
Maria de Buenos Aires had a small band (12-15 pieces) with a bandeon in a place of honor.
-
It was staged in an immersive style in the small theater with folks sitting on all sides, and the center was like an Argentine nightclub.
-
There was an impressive pair of Argentine tango dancers who performed throughout the space for a good part of the evening.
-
The star was very sensual. Voluptuous. Spilling out of a red dress that was tight in all of the right places. When she opened her mouth to sing, this tenor series of la-la-las came out. Such a surprise.
-
The libretto made no sense whatsoever. Kind of a surreal phantasmagoria. Maria is chaste, then she’s a whore, then she’s dead. And that’s just act one.
-
In act two, her dead soul has a baby. And it’s somehow all okay in the end.
-
This was the dress rehearsal. It was almost full. Both performances are sold out. Tickets at the tables on the floor, which come eith a drink and charcuterie plate, were $500, I’m told.
-
It just made me want to go to Buenos Aires all the more, DR Iris.
-
I stopped off for a chile relleno on my way home.
-
All that and no new page.
-
It’s coming.
-
Well, something’s coming.
-
Something good.
-
Or so Sondheim said.
-
He wasn’t wrong too often.
-
Well, where’s seven?
-
One more!
-
Seven!
-
I’m forcing myself to use my index finger while eating with a fork and knife. It’s not going well.
-
Rodzinski, while you’re catching up…remember that little Vixter? She’s been married for 3 1/2 years now….
Oh yes, well I knew that as you and I are Facebook friends. Still can’t believe it though. Last time I saw her she was a kid telling me about her favorite card game, Killer Bunnies.
-
Zoom thing was necessary but it interrupted my book stuff for ninety minutes and so I was irritable.
-
Had Jack in the Box for food.

Tonight, I went to Home Depot to look at vanities.
-
I need to get a new one for my downstairs bathroom (a.k.a. the powder room).
-
;)
-
They had a couple that were on sale...about $90 off!
-
I didn't get one yet, because my car looks like it's too small for any of them to fit.
-
All of the ones that I was looking at were "preassembled for [my] convenience," so the boxes were fairly large.
-
My friend Shelly has one of those boxy Scions, and she said that she'd go with me in her car to transport it...if I actually decide to get one of them.
-
It probably wouldn't hurt to go to Lowe's also, just to see what they have.
-
So, we'll see what'll happen tomorrow.
