BTW, for anyone here who thinks I'm just guessing it was the stalker on the film score message board - the username was nocturne_cvs. I just did a Google search on it for fun and gee whizzakers, look what the first thing that came up was:
Barbara Peterson
@nocturne_cvs
That's our darling stalker making it so easy. She'll be back under another name and eventually she'll be found out again.

Good morning, all!

Annabelle is sick. She vomited all over the place.
-
I hope it's just a hairball.

Health vibes for Annabelle

This morning, I have my second six-month appointment with the new head of Radiology at Lenox Hill. I really liked Seth Blacksburg, former head of Radiology, who saw me through my treatments. Then he left for a new post.

Good morning, friends.

DR John G. - the book, or the movie?
I’m afraid I don’t remember the context of your question. Was it Spoiler Alert? The movie.

Stop Throwing Up vibes for Annabelle, and preventative vibes for Thatch!
I know what cat sick days are like. Once or twice a year, Poe would suddenly have a sick day or evening in which he’d throw up several times in different places, until he had nothing left to bring up. It would take several hours or till the next morning to pass, then he’d be fine.

-
We got quite a bit of rain last night. I expect this will be the last until summer.
-
Good news, DR Laura.
-
About getting some rain, I mean.
-
DR vixmom has given me an idea. I think I will file my taxes as a cake.

MR BK I think you have a Facebook friend Paul Galloway who is a pianist. He played SWEENEY TODD at some LA theatre last year. He is excellent.

Today I think my car will be repaired! We shall see what happens.
I certainly could use a bonus to buy the battery - it's $209!
But then again....it's a three year battery. Who knows if I will even be driving in three years?
-
Must find some energy.
-
Can I push us to page four?
-
Four!
-
I am home. I see Dr Potters again in six months. He's quite pleased with my situation.
-
Both AAR rides arrived exactly on time. Both drivers were fine, but the first one was one of the truly exceptional ones. The second was good, but maybe not so helpful as the best drivers.
-
My trek to Staples was less successful. Their print-scan-it-yourself software is really geared for easy, simple jobs. Mine was morte complex and, as a result, did not reduce the large 9x12 score pages successfully. I could fix it in a second, but it would mean redoing their software, and that's not allowed. Still, I got the pages reduced, scanned and sent to Seattle.
-
DR George, thanks for the links last night. I will watch them later today.

Congrats to DR ELMORE!
-
DR JANE to cost of a new battery for the PT CRUISER was about $100.....maybe a bit more.....so that is about what I've paid in the past.
I imagine the battery for the SMART CAR is just expensive because the car is made by Mercedes.....or something.....but maybe it's not that much because it has a THREE YEAR replacement warranty....not just one year or two.

Five years ago I read Red Notice: A True Story of High Finance, Murder, and One Man's Fight for Justice by Bill Browder.
-
Yesterday I finished reading the sequel, Freezing Order: A True Story of Money Laundering, Murder, and Surviving Vladimir Putin's Wrath.
-
I highly recommend reading Freezing Order. Since it recaps parts of Red Notice you don't need to read the first book.
-
There is some interesting stuff about the man who became president during the events in Freezing Order.
-
I am referring to the former president, and friend of Putin.

Haven't we been on this damn page too much.
-
We have been having issues with our internet going out. It is especially annoying when watching tv.
-
Even more frustrating is I cannot reach my audiologist. I fear he isn't well. I need things on my hearing aids changed out before our trip. I hate not being able to hear.
-
I am very worried about my audiologist and hope he is ok. I think he is the best audiologist I have been to, and he is very nice.

DR TCB is back and all is right with the world.

Watched a wonderful documentary on Meredith Willson tonight on PBS. It really captures his astonishing and multi-faceted career. And I know one of the talking heads, so that was fun.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Or is it turkey?

Well, poultry of some sort.
-
At any rate.
-
Would you rather have a tiara?
-
Or a sculpture of yourself made of butter?
-
Or BOTH?
-
I guess you could have a tiara made of butter.
-
But it might get a bit messy.
-
And messy is as messy does.
-
Messiness is not next to Godliness.
-
Less mess is best.
-
Sometimes, the weather is a mess.

No, wait. HOW THE WEST WAS WON is actually a Western. I don't think you could call BLAZING SADDLES an actual Western.
I did :D
-
Does anyone remember Wacky Packages?
-
So happy to see our dear Tom!
-
It was bubble gum that came packaged with sticker decals that were Mad-Magazine like parodies of packaging of popular products.
-
Don't know what made me think of that, but they were all the rage when I was in elementary school.
-
:)
-
One more...

EIGHT!
-
I do remember those Singdaw!

I'm sure my mother threw up her hands, that her son was wasting his allowance money on such nonsense.

-
Good night, friends.
-
Anyone still have their Beanie Baby collection?
We have a ton of beanie babies in a box somewhere
-
My siblings and I covered the doors of our childhood bedrooms in Wacky Packages stickers.
-
I’m finishing up Spoiler Alert.
-
Things you do when you’re a kid and you think you’re going to live in your house forever.
-
I loved Wacky Packages. But they never created Black Cloud, recycled toilet paper. I waited for that one.
-
Wacky Noodles were good but not quite enough. I'm kind of craving some creamy tomato soup from Gelson's but really don't want to go out. And so, I won't. I'll try to find that Meredith Willson thing on the PBS app.
-
It was nice seeing TCB tonight.
-
We had some storms tonight, including hail. The drive home from dance was stressful.
-
Good night, all.
-
DR Rodzinski, is there a boat marina near you?
I have memories of relatives who had a boat in that area.
They would go fishing for salmon.
-
We cleaned it and baked it.
Best salmon I ever had.
-
I worked for an airline that flew from LAX to Vancouver, and we were trained to answer many questions, including passport information.
-
BK’s new book looks great.
I attended as many sneak previews in Westwood as possible.
I worked many night shifts in those days, or I would have attended all of them, just like Harvey.
-
Sneak previews, then snacks at The Moustache Cafe.
Or Alice’s Restaurant.
Or Yesterdays.
There was also a restaurant with cleverly named sandwiches years later.
D.B. Levy’s?
-
I remember waiting in line at the Avco Theater in Westwood for many hours to see Star Wars.

Today, I helped my mom buy a new toilet for one of the rental units that she owns.
-
Quite a few years ago, she bought this duplex from someone that she knows, and one of the toilets needs to be replaced, so she bought it, and we brought it to the unit.
-
A plumber will be going to the apartment tomorrow to install it.
-
I will never learn to install toilets.

Page eight? Still?

Page nine? Still?

Nine will have to be fine.

I don't have the energy to make twenty-eight more posts.

We got the toilet from Home Depot, and my mom gets a 10% military discount on top of any sale price.
-
She was very happy about that.
-
Ten percent may not be much when the price is only $110, but it covers the tax amount.

Tumwater sales tax is 9.5%, but I don't know what it is in Lacey.

I'm sure it's comparable, but it's not exactly the same.
