Well, you've read the notes, the notes were good and posted on a Friday, and now it is time for you to post until the Good Friday Passover cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RESOLVE!
-
Hello.
-
Bruce, I can't order the book until I return home.
-
A few days ago I attempted to oder a different book on Kindle and couldn't.
-
When I open Amazon it is in Japanese ;D
-
I miss the ability to order Kindle and Nook books directly from their apps.
-
Notes seen. Felt.
-
Congrats (again) on the web awards for SAMI, BK!!
-
Today we went to a castle expecting to see an abundance of cherry trees in full bloom. Alas, then need another week or two before they peak.
-
Eileen the lack of blooms and the rain we only took one photo.
-
It was still pretty, and I finally found a t-shirt with cherry blossoms to purchase.
-
Finally we found a keychain we liked.
-
It is even better than the made in China one we decided to pass on ;D
-
Good morning, friends.
-
What a great and fun clip, DR Rodzinski. Thank you for sharing it.
-
Congratulations, DR vixmom, on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!!
-
Your Easter menu is impressive, ambitious, and daunting. I wouldn't even have the room to lay out such an immense spread.
-
I miss the ability to order Kindle and Nook books directly from their apps.
Absolutely!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept in. By the time I finished up the bathroom - two days of wrestling with a vacuum cleaner, mops, tubs of water, scouring the floor with scrapers to get up dried litter - my body was shot to hell. Getting up and down on my knees constantly played real havoc on my legs. By the time Kim arrived around 4:00, O could barely stand or walk. So, as soon as she left and I cleaned the cats' dinner dishes, I lay down on my bed and refused to move for the remainder of the evening. I trned off the lights at 8:30, and at 4:30 this morning., I turned off the 5:30 alarm and decided to sleep in as long as I wished.
-
By 6:30 three cats had decided I had slept long enough and they wanted breakfast, so I got out of bed. I don't know yet how my legs will behave today, but I'm hoping theu will consider all of my activity as exercise and thrive from it.
-
I've had three days with no ballet work, so I need to get back to it.
-
Leg vibes for Elmore
-
Congratulations to Bruce and Sami for all the awards!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Thank you Rodzinski forimmortalizing my fun posting numbers
-
Leg vibes for Elmore.
-
Keep well vibes and continued travel vibes for Jane and Keith
-
Thank you John. For immortalizing my fun posting numbers
Rodzinski did it. But you’re welcome anyway.

-
Congratulations to Bruce and Sami for all the awards!
I’ll second that.

Wordle time.

Thank you John. For immortalizing my fun posting numbers
Rodzinski did it. But you’re welcome anyway.
I was just fixing it, I noticed you popped in as I was typing and typed your name and realized after I posted it what I had done
-
Congratulations to Bruce and Sami for all the awards!
I’ll second that.
I see what you did there!
-
Wordle time.
Guess I shall Wordle as well

A modern-day troubadour, as it were.
-
~~~MUSHROOM VIBES~~~ for DR vixmom!!!
-
Peekaboo!
-
I'm with them!
-
The Free Design recorded an album called Cosmic Peekaboo.
-
I'm with them!
Interesting how the Tennessee representative who took video (and later deceptively edited it), ALSO against House rules, was not expelled.
-
Your friend asks a lot of questions.
:D
-
Keep well vibes and continued travel vibes for Jane and Keith
Thanks.
-
We returned to our cabin after dinner to find a cute Easter basket.
-
'night
-
A break before the bed. I've been tothe basement and the postboxes. Kitty cleanup is over, and I must now make the bed.
-
Good morning!
-
Wordle: 4/6
-
Congrats on the awards, BK!
-
Listening to Yannick Nezet-Seguin’s version of Beethoven’s Fifth. The pace is fast and unrelenting. And I think I like it. It’s perfect for spring.
-
The heater just kicked on.
-
Three!
-
Hello, 1 guest!
-
DR singdaw - in fact I like the Aniston dog movie.....but my comment was open to interpretation.....
One Grecian Urn.
-
What's a Grecian urn?
-
About 40 drachmas a week, if he's lucky.
-
I didn't see the picture in the rain that DR JANE was talking about.....maybe it will show up later today.
If it does, I shall post it here.
-
Nice festival wins for SAMI!
-
In one of the medical/police shows years ago, Cindy Williams played a mother like the one in the documentary MR BK was walking about in the notes.
She was very scary.
-
I guess I should go check to see how many members of the Class of '68 decided to attend the Alumni Dinner.....or if it will just be the three of us.
-
Maybe I will get some mail today.
-
The Beethoven 4 is at a similar pace. Maybe Red Bull sponsored the recording.
-
About 40 drachmas a week, if he's lucky.
Shtick around for the jokes.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Indulged in a leisurely morning, and now I must needs get moving.
-
The Free Design recorded an album called Cosmic Peekaboo.
I love the Free Design!
-
Thank you Rodzinski forimmortalizing my fun posting numbers
I simply asked myself WWGD? “What would George do?”
-
Does one warble as they Wordle?
I wonder as I wander.
-
Just WHY is it that no groaning is allowed on HHW?
-
I ask you.
-
...but I prevaricate.
-
I dissemble.
-
I stumble upon happenstance.
-
And let me let you, happenstance doesn't like being stumbled upon.
-
Stammering, though: that's another matter entirely.
-
And don't even talk about simpering.
-
It simply isn't done.
-
Or stultifying.
-
Or stupefying, for that matter.
-
Ask Jones.
-
Enough of this silliness.
-
FOUR!
-
And that's a fine fettle of phish.
-
What is it, lutefisk?
-
I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep.
-
I received my Bank Statement today. And my assessment from the County Auditor.
The value of my house has increased by $30,300. I probably shouldn't have put that plant out on the front porch. Or maybe it's my new vinyl fence in the back yard. Or maybe the Smart Car in the driveway.
-
Mine has also skyrocketed, JRand. Disgusting.
-
My neighbor Ann stopped by to drop off my gift from Italy, a carry bag with Botticelli's Primavera as an illustration. Only . . . all the faces are cats. IThe bag is actually something I've been wanting so I'm quite happy with it. She says Jen just tested negative for Covid, so I'm very happy about that, too.
-
I hope the Judge bitchslaps him hard as possible ASAP. I would love to see the whining little bitch and his smug smirk jerked out of shape.
Back, and worn out, from what should have been two quick and easy errands, but which turned out to be wearying and aggravating.
People, man.
-
That happened here, too, and property taxes here are horrible.
They're pretty good, though, about adjusting the mill rate so that there's only a small change, if any, in the tax payments. But they're horrible anyway, like I said.
-
No taxation without representation! Oh, wait a minute......never mind.
-
"Big Ham Butts" is the name of the eleven o'clock number in my new musical - Hello, Piggy!
-
I expect a Tony nomination.
-
The boss an let us go early so I am home
-
I have t eaten all day and I have to be at church in an hour
-
So I am indulging in two slices of seeded rye with melter cheddar on top
-
Lovely comfort food
-
Mom hasn’t invited any more people in the last 48 hours
-
As far as I’m aware
-
Jack tell your folks not to be tardy if they want a chair
-
Latecomers will be relegated to the staircase to eat with a plate on their lap
-
Jack tell your folks not to be tardy if they want a chair
I could sit on the floor, as long as there’s elbow room and access to the trough.
-
Ginny, you might get a kick out of Eligible. Pride and Prejudice in Cincinnati with plenty of the city in it.
-
The first half of the book is only so-so, but the second half is better.
-
Peekaboo!
Interesting how the Tennessee representative who took video (and later deceptively edited it), ALSO against House rules, was not expelled.
F*cking hypocrites, every one of them!! >:(
Agreed!!
-
I didn't see the picture in the rain that DR JANE was talking about.....maybe it will show up later today.
If it does, I shall post it here.
There was only one photo for the day and a video of a shamisen musician. Since Keith can't get the video to download to FB he isn't bothering with the photo.
-
It's going to be a chilly night. I told the cats to get into their pajamas.
-
The musician was very good.
-
;D
Do you plan to dispute it?
-
Work session done and fine, pianist is very good and very nice.
-
Prior to that, interesting dealings with Venmo.
-
Up from a nice nap. Thinking about a snack before services.
-
Keith finally got the video of the tsugaru shamisen player to load on FB.
-
He isn't going to add the one photo of the castle.
-
We are on another bus.
-
Soon we will be on our hour drive to Onuma National Park
-
Thanks for the info DR JANE.
I doubt that I will dispute the increased assessment......never have.....
-
Thanks for the info DR JANE.
I doubt that I will dispute the increased assessment......never have.....
I haven't either.
-
Starting to watch Babylon.
-
Good luck.
-
Listening to the new master.
-
Margot Robbie is an excellent actress. She doesn’t look anything like she belongs in the 1920s.
-
I think Cryin’ in the Rain would have been a better title.
-
Margot Robbie is an excellent actress.
Is she also the actress playing Barbie in the new movie? What range!
-
Back from a six-hour stint singing a Good Friday service.
-
They had folks write their sins on slips of flash paper, which were then incinerated.
-
The process created a pretty shockingly large conflagration.
-
I don't know if they rehearsed it, but the pastor seemed a bit surprised.
-
Anyway, it was a meaningful service, but it was a 6 hour commitment, and I am glad to be home.
-
And almost to page six.
-
Almost, but not quite.
-
Quite not.
-
SIX, at last.
-
Anyway, it was a meaningful service, but it was a 6 hour commitment, and I am glad to be home.
I’m sure you are.
-
I am not required for any Easter Vigil services tomorrow. Those tend to run long, too.
-
Our service was little more than an hour. It was stripped down from previous years. One year we did the strips of paper and tossed them into the fire. It was very effective.
-
When I decorate for guests, this is what it look like:
-
Do you think that's subtle enough?
-
A murmuration of starlings that happened to make one big starling:
-
What are the odds of taking that shot just at that moment?
-
I am losing steam.
-
Have you ever lost steam?
-
It can be very tricky to find again.
-
It's very good at hiding itself.
-
I made it two hours. Had to take a break.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Time to make the brownies.
-
When I decorate for guests, this is what it look like:
;D
-
I made the brownies.
-
I have less than 30 minutes left in Babylon and I don't care.
-
It's a fascinating failure. I wish I were watching Day of the Locust instead.
-
The whole segment with Tobey Maguire was unnecessary.
-
Our Good Friday Tennenbrae service lasted about 45 minutes. I read the New Testament parts of the Passion of Christ.
As we got through each section there was a darkening until kneeled in total darkness ( except for whatever light came through the windows ).
The Pastor slammed the ( hidden from view due to the altar screen) back door to symbolize the sealing of the tomb and then there was a duet of the hymn ‘Were You There”
Then s few dim lights were brought up and the congregation departed in silence.
-
It’s always an emotional service
-
After the congregation cleared out a handful of us stripped out all the Good Friday stuff and reset for Easter Day
That's really cool!
-
What are the odds of taking that shot just at that moment?
It could be a fake (which I really hope that it's not), or it's from a combined "burst" photo where a whole bunch of pictures are taken with one push of the button, or it's one frame from an actual video recording.
-
Regardless of how it happened, it's a great image. :)
-
And now...
-
PAGE SEVEN STARLINGS SKY DANCE!! ;D
(https://scx2.b-cdn.net/gfx/news/2019/starlingmurm.gif)
-
Good night, all.
-
Good night, John.
-
I think it is a well known fact that I do not care for page seven.
-
I just don't.
-
Not one whit.
-
Not two whits.
-
Not even a nitwhit.
-
I tried to watch a Garbo movie tonight - Queen Christina - the only Garbo movie I've seen is Ninotchka - I fell asleep for the entire movie. Good job.
-
Then I watched half a movie.
-
And soon I shall write some notes.
-
I got the liner notes done and we put the new text at the end of the Sami trailer.
-
I had two roast beef sandwiches and two latkes - one set for lunch, one for dinner - and then a small amount of vanilla yogurt ice cream with some chocolate chips - just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth.
-
Now I'm listening to music.
-
A piece for clarinet and string quartet by Bernard Herrmann - the clarinet is one of my favorite instruments, along with the french horn and the Armenian ukulele.
-
I have no idea what I'm talking about.
-
And I like it that way.
-
I really do.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
Are you kidding me? No posts in an hour?
-
Where the HELL is George.
-
Rabbit hole? Asleep?
-
Certainly not here helping out.
-
I do not care for page seven and I come back after an hour and not one single post.
-
Shameful.
-
Unseemly.
-
Unthinkable.
-
Unacceptable.
-
Uneverything.
-
All alone.
-
And yet, George appears to be here, but willfully NOT posting.
-
Page eight.
-
All alone.
No one is alone...to quote Sondheim. ;)
-
And unless George is posting right now, he's gone.
-
And yet, George appears to be here, but willfully NOT posting.
I was being non-hasty with my evening ablutions.
-
Yes, he was posting but that doesn't account for the entire last HOUR.
-
No, it does not.
-
And unless George is posting right now, he's gone.
No, I'm here.
-
Under no circumstances.
-
I'm still here.
-
Good times and bum times.
-
Plush velvet sometimes.
-
Yes, he was posting but that doesn't account for the entire last HOUR.
I was watching MSNBC and the weekly (left-leaning) political talk.
-
Listening to music.
-
Enough with the political talk. Way too depressing.
-
Where's page nine?
-
Anyone seen page nine?
-
Must be somewhere over the rainbow.
-
While we're under the rainbow.
-
I don't know.
-
Again, I'm doing a monologue.
-
I don't get it.
-
I'd like to get it.
-
I'd like to get something.
-
Like a check for $500,000.
-
Like a check for $500,000.
Who wouldn't??
-
Wouldn't that be loverly.
-
Are you expecting one?
-
Wouldn't that make life easier.
-
It would.
-
No doubt about it.
-
Page nine.
-
Where's page ten?
-
Wouldn't that make life easier.
Definitely!
-
Anywhere?
-
Somewhere?
-
Over there?
-
Over here?
-
Over hill?
-
Over Dale.
-
Gratuitous Post #250!
-
Hiding in plain sight.
-
250 isn't 300, which is what we've been averaging, but it was a very slow day today.
-
And this evening.
-
Everyone must have been eating fish for Good Friday.
-
That's my guess.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
Everyone must have been eating fish for Good Friday.
I didn't. I had a chili cheeseburger for lunch.
-
I did the Limbo whilst reading them.
-
No mean feat.
-
I could have sworn page ten was around here somewhere.
-
All of a sudden I want a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish.
-
But it's being elusive and playful.
-
Perhaps I should kick it in the shins.
-
I had a Filet O Fish the other night. Not great.
-
I just think it's this local McDonald's.
-
Always mediocre. Other branches are much better.
-
Page ten.
-
I just think it's this local McDonald's.
Most, but not all, of the ones that I've had around here haven't been too bad.
-
The Burger King and Arby's fish sandwiches are pretty good, too.
-
For some reason, they tend to be a little more consistent in the quality than McDonald's.
-
I don't know why.
-
I've also had Wendy's and Dairy Queen's fish sandwiches, but it's been a while, so I don't remember how they were.
-
Probably good enough...for me, at least.
-
;D
