Well, you've read the notes, the notes inched closer, and now it is time for you to post until the inching cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: FORTITUDE!
-
Topic of the Day: lasagna. When I've made it in the past, I'd just take a recipe on the box of noodles or maybe the ricotta cheese package and double everything except the noodles. It would always be very good. :)

What?? Has the site not been available for seven hours?? :o

Notes found. Dissected.

I got for awhile a “can’t find server” message when I tried to see new notes.

Thursday morning greetings! Day 4 with Tyler (working on the siding that was torn up when the new front steps went in) and Scott (painting the family room ceiling). It's like HGTV around here!

Good morning!

Wordle: 2/6 Used the right starting word today.
-
What was quite a story, DR vixmom! Glad everything was okay.
-
Good morning, all.
-
So here we are on Thursday.
-
What?? Has the site not been available for seven hours?? :o
I can't do the math, but I was awake early and tried at 5:45 am. (2:45 am for you west coasters). It was ompletely offline and inaccessible, as was Kritzerland.com. I think it stayed offline until about the time DR George posted this, half an hour ago.

TOD:
Spaghetti & meatballs
spaghetti and ground beef....which we call glop
macaroni and cheese
garden rotini & chicken salad....
I like bow tie pasta because I like the way it looks so sometimes I use it in the mac and cheese which I guess makes it rot and cheese.

Work is crazy busy, so, of course, my laptop forced a restart.

It’s ready and I must go

JRand, you’re right about Barbara Harris in Nashville.
-
DR Jrand, I am glad Molly was feeling up to celebrating with you. Had you managed to keep her cake whole or did you snack on while waiting?
-
Thursday morning greetings! Day 4 with Tyler (working on the siding that was torn up when the new front steps went in) and Scott (painting the family room ceiling). It's like HGTV around here!
I could do major remodeling here, my heart just isn't in it let alone my wallet.
-
One is done.

Sun of a gun.
-
No more fun on one.
-
Two!
-
Good afternoon, all!
I'm still not caught up on yesterday's posts.
-
Good afternoon, friends.

Glad to see HHW restored.

What we're doing is stuff a realtor would make us do before listing the property.
-
JRand, you’re right about Barbara Harris in Nashville.
I love her in A Thousand Clowns.
-
TOD - as long as it doesn't have onions or too much garlic, there's not much pasta I don't like. When we had our last video chat with Rob's family they were all (including both granddaughters) eating cold tuna pasta salad. That sounded really good to me.
-
My fave Harris: her scene in …Harry Kellerman…
As the mom in Peggy Sue Got Married
So many others..

I am amazed how many people don't do those things even after their realtor suggest doing them.

We went to Costco. I forgot to buy peanuts.
-
I really need to eat something with protein that will add weight.
-
Silly headline but it is a post, or more ;)
-
"Kate Middleton's Coronation Outfit Is 'Under Discussion' Because She May Outshine The King".
-
Like she doesn't always outshine Charles, or most of the other royals ;D

Doesn't pretty much everybody outshine Charles?

JRand, you’re right about Barbara Harris in Nashville.
My favorite movie of the 70s. I can't think of a bad performance in it, but Harris is radiant. I like the film's implied situation at the end. Poor untalented Sueleen is promised a chance to sing at the Parthenon if she will humiliate herself and strip at that fundraiser, but when Barbara Jean is shot, the mike is handed to Barbara Harris's Abilene, and it looks as if she'll be the next country star. So brilliant, and I love her singing "It Don't Worry Me."

I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of sleep.

How long was the site down?
-
BK, if you like William Walton and you like opera, have you ever listened to Troilus and Cressida?
-
Page two is kind of ridic.
-
How can it be?
-
DR George thinks about 7 hours, I believe.
-
Must do something about it.
-
And quickly.
-
I love the Walton opera - I love ALL of Walton.
-
Is there gaslighting going on?
-
There must be.

Gaslighting 101.

See?

Page three is ridic.

Former DR Jose is currently working in Milwaukee.
-
I need to visit before he leaves.
-
We went to Costco. I forgot to buy peanuts.
That reminds me that I need to go to Costco, too. I forget what I need to get, though. ::)
-
I'm meeting my friend Margo for lunch at the local Red Wagon (https://www.redwagontumwater.com/) in about 15 minutes, but I'll go to Costco later.
-
DR ELMORE I always like to pretend that Karen Black's character in Five Easy Pieces moved to Nashville and became Connie White in Nashville.
And yes Abilene was on track to become a STAR....because of what happened at the Parthenon.
Poor little Gaylene - she couldn't sing and as a stripper she was even worse.
I really like Keith Carradine, Lily Tomlin, Ronee Blakeley, and Geraldine Chaplin in NASHVILLE, too.....well I like everyone. And the songs are spot on.
-
I went to the gas station $3.849 and to the bank.
When I got home, since rain is predicted for Friday and Saturday....I decided to mow the back yard......then I went ahead and mowed the front/side yard.....and I am still recovering....
-
I suppose I should view Nashville for the first time.
-
Tonight I am attending a dance recital. I am connected to it by an acquaintance. I am not sure what to expect, but i have been told to bring earplugs on account of the first number. Oh joy.

My eyes! I thought that was a comma instead of a decimal. :D
-
LOL Dr CHAS SMITH.....not yet....but who knows....
-
DR JANE I had not been able to resist Molly's strawberry cake.....so I had eaten some - but there was plenty left for both of us to enjoy.

I got to know Keith Carradine a bit when he starred in Paint Your Wagon at Encores! He's a sweetheart. I want him to play the lead in Moonshine & Mistletoe.

I do love a good spinach fettuccini with a cream red tomato sauce, with eggplant or artichoke hearts.
-
I had something like that in Rome that was incredible, best pasta dish ever.
-
My plan had been to order the fettuccini alfredo, the reviews for that were the reason we went to that particular restaurant, and then I saw the other dish on the menu.
-
Oh, my goodness! Look at the millstone I've reached!! ;D
-
Congrats George.
-
In a week DR George will have surpassed my posting numbers ;D
-
George, I was about to ask what happened to your article on fettuccini. I see what you did-lol
-
Gratuitous Post #100!!

George, I was about to ask what happened to your article on fettuccini. I see what you did-lol
Here's post that I changed so that I could reach my millstone and post the proof in the same posting...
-

Jane, did you know that fettuccini Alfredo is not an authentic Italian dish (https://issuu.com/nas_sigonella/docs/23apr2021/s/12144840)...along with the five other seemingly "Italian" dishes in this article?
-
Congrats George.
Thanks, Jane!

True, but it was still created in Rome ;)
-
I used to eat it at Alfredo's of Rome in Philadelphia until we moved. It was always a delicious treat. I once had it at the Epcot Center and it was delicious there. I don't order it at too many restaurants since it can be disgusting if not made correctly.
-
My plan before going to Rome was to eat at Alfredo's. The location wasn't convenient and the review for the restaurant not that great. Just in case I searched for other restaurants that might serve it.
-
Where we ended up, the reviews were excellent for the restaurant as well as the fettuccini alfredo. The dish may have been offered for the tourists, however, the restaurant was indeed excellent. Everything we ate was superb.

That's good.
-
Very good indeed.
-
I have never been a fan of eggplant parmigiana. Maybe it was the region because I don't recall seeing it the first time we were in Italy, this is what it looked like there.
-
Something like this.
-
It was served as an appetizer at the restaurants where we ate it.
-
At that restaurant in Rome it was incredible, the best we had.
-
'night
-
DR George - CONGRATULATIONS on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!
-
That's a lot of posts!
-
The dance recital was... Intriguing. Interesting. I'm glad I went. And I am also glad I had the earplugs. :P
-
TOD: I love pasta. I eat anything with pasta. And pasta with anything.
-
But my favorite is when pasta of any sort is slathered in pesto.
-
FIVE.
-
Five is (barely) alive.
-
That's jive.
-
It's a long time before six will arrive.
-
In the meantime, I'll nibble on endive.
-
[that's a visual rhyme only]
-
Who owns this dive?
-
Be careful when using a knive.
-
That's cheating, since you only seem to use the "v" when it's plural, as in Knives Out.
-
I did my best.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Starting the last episode of Aftertaste.
-
Congratulations, George!
-
There’s a new French film of The Three Musketeers that sounds wonderful.
-
Good night, all.
-
Page five?
-
Really?
-
I do not care for page seven.
-
We can only imagine what I think about page five, so let's get off this damn page.
-
I tried to watch a sixty-one minute movie - fell asleep for the entire film.
-
Oops.
-
And that after ten hours of sleep.
-
I think pasta makes me sleepy.
-
Just relaxing now.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
And?
-
What?
-
I have no idea.
-
Why should I?
-
Oh well.
-
Is there gaslighting going on?
-
See?
-
TOD:
I love spaghetti bolognese
I love tortellini bolognese (especially if the tortellini have meat inside them)
I adore and crave Spaghettic Carbonara. It has to be done correctly.
-
It's Friday morning here in Johnston SC.
It feels like a Saturday, but it's Friday.
Rather, it's a extension of Thursday, because so much is yet to happen on Friday.
-
Wouldn't you just DIE without Mahler?
-
I know I wouldn't.
-
Where is Zohra Lampert when you need her?
-
Loved Zohra and got to work with her.
-
DR George - CONGRATULATIONS on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!
Thanks, Singdaw!
-
Angel hair pasta with vodka sauce
-

-
That's a lot of posts!
Not as many as Jane, though...yet! ;)
-
Congratulations, George!
Thanks, John!
-
Meat lasagna ( no sausage just minced beef) with a robust meat sauce
-
Angel hsir oadta in a light pink cream sauce with shrimp, mushrooms and peas
-
WOW George! Congratulations on your newest heights
-
I'd keep going but I fear hitting 7
-
I know how much Bruce hates 7
-
So good night folks
-
Manicotti, when the pasta is so thin and delicate and light thst its like tissue paper with a nice homemade marinara
There's a local restaurant where you can get cannelloni, or manicotti, or half and half...which is what I usually get. It's all very good!
-
WOW George! Congratulations on your newest heights
Thanks, Vixmom!
-
So good night folks
Good night, sleep tight.
Don't let the bedbugs bite.
And if they do, just take your shoe
And knock them black and blue.
But don't hurt Oscar, 'cause he's new!
;D

Well, this is really interesting:
Cube-shaped creature with 24 eyes discovered hiding in pond in Hong Kong, study says (https://amp.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/article274451715.html)
-
So, my niece, my sister, my sister's boyfriend and my mom were supposed to go to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival tomorrow vecause my niece wanted to go for her birthday.
-
And I was supposed to go to my sister's house and get my niece's chickens into their coop since my niece would be gone all day.
-
BUT the weather wasn't very good today, and it's also supposed to be not good tomorrow, so they postponed going until some time next week.
-
So I won't have to get my niece's chickens into their coop since my niece won't be gone all day.
-
But I'll still have rehearsal tomorrow night.
-
So that's good.
-
:)
-
seven!!!!!!!
-
Gratuitous Post #181!!
-
:D
-
Tomorrow's rehearsal will be to finish blocking act one, then to run it.
-
It'll be fun to finally see the whole thing, even at this early stage.
-
I do not care for page seven.
-
I have said this repeatedly.
-
I just said it again.
-
Has George gone down a rabbit hole?
-
Then on Saturday, we'll run some more blocking.
-
Has George gone down a rabbit hole?
Nope!
-
Also on Saturday, I'm going to a memorial for a former co-worker. :(
-
Good.
-
And?
-
What about it?
-
I have no idea.
-
Wouldn't it be loverly?
-
No slacking.
-
Posting.
-
Not slacking.
-
And yet we have slacking, not posting.
-
Gratuitous Post #201!!
-
Right as the rain.
-
200 is just wrong.
-
Think I'll get to a nice round number, ME posting-wise.
-
Close.
-
Eight more.
-
And I'll be on a nice round number.
-
No slacking.
-
I'm seeing slacking.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
200 is just wrong.
It's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, though!
-
Today, I was going to mail a CD to Vixmom, but when I got to the post office, I realized that I forgot to get her address. ::)
-
Dopey me!
