Truly?
Thanks for saving my millstone, George!
In case you have some time on your hands (10 hours), here is a video of all 32 of Beethoven's piano sonatas, with the scores:

Facebook was currently banned me from posting on groups. When I tried to post on the Musical Theatre Orchestration page, I was refused, but FB said I could protest this. I clicked on the link and got to a page where I could post aresponse. I wrote this:
There was this post about a dog who was being euthanized at the NYC Animal Control Center. A very pretty, adoptable dog who's owners had turned him in to the shelter to be murdered. There was no hope. The euthanasia command wasissued, and the dog would soon be murdered. My response was "They should euthanize the owners instead." Now, I'm no fool; that won't happen, but that's how I feel about people who adopt animals, then tire of them, and send them off to kill shelters. This is at least twice now in the past five years I've been banned for speaking out about animal protection. I think your police are often out of control in their efforts to police."
Here's the kicker: Facebook will not let me submit it!
DR CHAS SMITH click on DETAILS and you should get there.
DR singdaw taught me that.

Fingers crossed!
My checker wasn't working....so I changed the batteries in it - luckily I had a couple of new lithium batteries in my drawers.
But I couldn't remember how to do it.
So I looked online.
And it worked and my blood sugar level was 222 - which is NOT good.
And I voted. Early voting for mayor.
The swallows have returned from Capistrano or wherever the hell they went. Here's the thing about swallows. If they like your house, they will attack it all the time and poo all over it.

So after a brief few minutes of panic that seemed pretty long at the time we were able to continue our conversation

I have been a very naughty patient.
For the past year or so I have just taken one of my Metformin pills a day instead of two.....just lazy.
At my appointment on Monday, my doctor - who had forgotten to see me for a year and half - sent me for blood work.
So since Monday I have been taking my TWO Metformin pills a day....and I plan to test my blood sugar each day and I imagine it will start going down. Time will tell.
And on this page I will post the video of my new doctor - Tyler Feldman who is young enough to be my grandson....at least. I hope he is as forgiving of my shenanigans as some others are.

This afternoon has been Troy Donahue at Warner Bros......and tonight is James Dean ditto on TCM.
There is a new scan of EAST OF EDEN so I shall probably watch that and stick around for REBEL and GIANT.
Does anyone cook with these?
Because I cannot carry items from one place to another, I push them around on a teacart. Stella thinks it's her new bed. There's a bit of Thatch at the bottom of the photo.

I don’t like that Amazon Prime cuts off the end credits of Sami.
Had not seen this before:

If you hit the "back" button on your remote, once the little pop-up for the next episode appears, you can return to the full credits on the current episode.

I haven’t been quick in ages.
Very happy birthday to every now and then dear readers Jennifer, who used to post MUCH more often.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday, DR Jennifer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday, DR Jennifer!
Oh yes DR JOHN G - The Razor's Edge with Tyrone (just back from the war), Gene Tierney, Anne Baxter, and Clifton Webb is a wonderful movie.
Lucile Watson is also wonderful as Tierney's mother and John Payne is good as Gray. Herbert Marshall as Maugham himself is very touching.
I also like the book a lot. It gets a bit more metaphysical - but it's good.

Not yet. The library has it. I’ve put a reservation on it.Theresa Russell has just showed up in Razor’s Edge.
Not the 1947 version then?
My dream house is going to have a little library...

I’m enjoying the movie more than I thought. Bill Murray isn’t half bad.
