Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 125, and now it is time for you to post until the 125 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: EXHAUSTED!
-
Great notes about and photos of the Kritzerland show!

Good morning, friends.
-
Congratulations, DR vixmom, on your [scary] new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!
-
What a wonderful and fitting tribute to Mr. Sherman, from BK's description!
-
Must have been extraordinary to be in the room.
-
I found Smash Flops on iTunes. And Busker Alley is there, too, of course.
-
Good morning, all!
-
The morning has been interesting and a bit awkward. The alarm was set for 6:00, but around 5:15, I had another gastrointestinal crisis - thank God I see the specialist tomorrow! - that could have been a real mess, but thankfully was not. I turned off the alarm and went back to bed with Annabelle cuddled next to me. I woke just before 7:00 and debated staying in bed or getting up. I wisely ignored my wish tp hide in bed, got up, fed the cats, had my breakfast, and here I am.
-
The show sounds wonderful, BK! I wish I had been there.
-
DR George, there are conflicting tales about the Titanic and cat Jenny. A survivor who worked as a stewardess claimed in her memoir that she saw Jenny, who boarded the ship in Belfast, remove herself and her babies in Southampton. Joseph Mulholland, who worked in the scullery and fed Jenny, claimed that he saw Jenny removing her babies and decided that it was an omen to get off the boat. Others believe that she and her babies died on April 15.

~~~HEALTH VIBES~~ that your situation can be diagnosed and treated, DR elmore3003.
-
I of course need to believe that Jenny and her family lived happily in Southampton and perhaps her great-great-great-great granschildren still populate the town.
-
Don't touch the button!
I must get to kitty cleanup and then to No. 24. This afternoon I will take my bath. Tonight I will settle in with the Tonys and my Macbook.
-
A lazy good morning to all.
I wanted to "sleep in", but my sinuses had different plans. A sneezing fit and a lot of nose blowing had me up and ready for a muffin and coffee.
I am having them both now. And still blowing my nose.
-
FWIW, I had a good sleep for about six hours. A mid-day nap is more than likely going to happen.
I dreamed...very actively, as I recall. What I was dreaming about has eluded me, but I know I dreamed.
I do retain a sense of being someone else. Rather, me in someone else's body? I felt like me, but when I saw me, I wasn't me. Do you see?
-
I was neither pleased nor appalled at what I saw when I looked at me. I was simply confused...much like these posts I am scrawling.
-
I have had some wild dreams in my life, but only two have stuck with me...at least, impressions of them.
One was watching televsion with my parents. We had a large picture window in the living room. It was night time, and an occasional car could be seen passing by, although we were well away from the road and elevated.
A newscaster interrupted the programming to announce a phenomenon in the sky. Authorities weren't sure what it was yet. I went to the window and looked up.
I saw lots of lights and they seemed to change into formations of the night sky...including the big dipper.
Another dream was when i was in college. I have no idea what was going on in the world at that time, but I don't believe we were facing a potential cataclysm/political calamity of any kind. It was 1968 or 1969.
i found myself with my theater major classmates huddled in a classroom, afraid to go outside. I didn't listen to their protests and opened a door. I looked out and saw it was snowing, but I had the sense that it was poisoned snow...radiation poisoning. No one told me, I just knew. And then I thought of my parents and that I would never see them again. When I woke up I was crying.
DR DR Iris has posted this before, but in case you need a recap:
The Tonys are are 3-hour broadcast tonight on CBS starting at 8:00PM Eastern. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+ if you have a premium subscription.
Some awards will be presented from 6:30PM to 8:00PM Eastern; that is available for streaming on Pluto.
I don't know why it has to be so complicated.
-
I have had a few dreams that had me falling from various heights. I recall wondering if I would feel pain when I hit bottom or die instantly.
i would wake up at impact and feel like I had been dropped onto my bed. Weird!
This new cookbook is getting some fanfare:
-
I wonder if BK made any converts of the Disney folk that were there last night for the first time that might consider returning for another Kritzerland outing?
I'm glad the photo-posting issue was resolved.
DR Jrand72, is this a prop for your Play That Goes Wrong?
Perhaps it should be...
-
Good morning, all.
Congrats to BK & Co. - and the Shermans - on a most successful show and special event!
I look forward to a few videos surfacing at some point.
-
And now...
Here it is...
The moment you've all been waiting for...
-
I never heard of Pluto TV or whatever it's called before today.
No, actually, to be fair, it was yesterday. I've known about it for nearly 24 hours.
-
In other news, we (Kristi, Nathan, and my glorious self) all had fish & chips last night, too. Kristi had just spent the week in Fort Myers with a good friend who retired and moved there last year. When we picked her up at Westchester Co. Airport yesterday evening we wanted to stop to eat somewhere we hadn't been, that was also outside of Danbury. I mentioned how I'd been thinking about fish sandwiches or fish tacos or fish & chips these past few days, and that sounded good to everyone. So, with help from our good friend Mr. Google, we found a place in Katonah, NY - Farmhouse Tavern - that sounded like just the ticket, and it was most enjoyable.
-
Thanks for preserving that, DR ChasSmith.
-
And now, I really want fish & chips.
-
I cannot explain why.
-
But I blame Tiler Peck.
-
:)
Hey everyone, there's a new Broadway Radio Show up on the site! We celebrate the just concluded Broadway season and tonight's Tony Awards with a look back at all the musicals (new and revival), including all the Tony nominees. Lots of great music and performances!
And the photos are terrific!
I think I have PLUTO tv.
I know I have GOOFY tv.
-
Great news about WFO. Vibes he walks better every day.
-
From DR Ron:
That reminds me of something funny I heard in the news many years ago when i lived in the Bay Area of California.
The Virginia Slims Tennis Tournament was being played at some venue in The City (San Francisco). Martina Navratilova was playing someone and one of her shots was called "out" by the referee. Martina said it looked like it was legitimately on the line to her.
The referee told her it was "out by eight inches".
Martina muttered, "Men have been telling women it's 8 inches since the beginning of time."
;D
Guess I've used all my free trial options and cannot watch the Tony Awards this evening. Last year, I did a free trial for Fubo TV - if I want to use Fubo again - 89.00. Nope. I've already done the free trial on Paramount +. And even if you want to take it for a month, you have to do the premium for a month - nope.
Well, let's make up for lost time.
Anyone watching the first part of the Tonys on Pluto TV?
PAGE FOUR I CAUGHT COVID AGAIN DANCE!! :'(
-
Lunch meeting was fun - meal was not. Mel's - had the exact same thing as the other day - BLTA and potato salad. They were jammed with people so maybe that's why, but the sandwich was half the size as the other day, bacon was severely undercooked, so much so that I had to remove some of it and I honestly don't recall any tomato on the sandwich. Absolutely ridiculous. Potato salad was good. Should have had a Cobb salad. Anyway, it wasn't even a sandwich, so I'll have to get something later.
You caught Covid??? Why are you even testing?
You caught Covid??? Why are you even testing?
Because I woke up this morning with cold-like symptoms (headache, sore throat), and figured that since I had been in three very large crowds over the last three days, that it may not just be a cold...so I tested. :(
The last time, I don't think my temperature went above 99.3° or so...not very high, at all.
Sunday evening greetings! I worked the closing shift both days of the AAUW garage sale (Friday and Saturday). Right before I left for yesterday’s shift I bent wrong over the dishwasher and have been nursing a sore back ever since.
Missed the opening number, thankfully - but got another free week on Paramount Plus, so that's good. Saw the opening whatever that was she was gabbing about - the writing is never good on these shows - letting her babble on like that was not a good idea and it was obviously planned by her.
-
Did not like anything about that New York, New York thing - hate the fake standing ovation, hate the sweetened applause and screaming.
Featured Actor in a play: Brandon Uranowitz
I love him!
-
Happy that Brandon Uranowitz won - he was in two episodes of Outside the Box and I really enjoyed him.
-
I'll stick to the OBC of Camelot.
-
HA! I knew I had seen him somewhere!
-
This is looking like a very good night for Kimberly Akimbo.
-
What was THAT??? THAT was certainly not Camelot!
-
Why is no one talking about the numbers?
-
So far, don't want to see New York, New York or Camelot, which really looks dreadful.
-
I suspect Kimberly will have swept the awards.
-
I liked the Camelot costumes - but I don't really need to see it.....the kid at the end was awful.....
I guess I need to listen to Kimberly Akimbo although Jeanne Tesori is way down on my list of composers, although she is high on my list of mediocrities.
-
Page six, in case no one has noticed.
-
I don't care for Jeanine Tesori much.
-
Opening number was weird.....literally all over the place.
-
Happy that Brandon Uranowitz won - he was in two episodes of Outside the Box and I really enjoyed him.
When Encores! did Grand Hotel, he was wonderful as Kringelein.
-
Where's Robert Goulet when you need him?
-
That Guenevere sounds like she has that screechy kind of voice that Jane Powell used to have.....
-
I do love Jordan Donica’s voice.
-
Not to mention Richard Burton and Julie Andrews.
-
I don't miss the patter at all.....but Ariana de Bore was up to her usual standards.
-
This is looking like a very good night for Kimberly Akimbo.
I'm sure Vicki Clark is counting on that.
-
I'll probably have to eat something later - that sandwich was horrible.
-
And I'll have a week to catch up on Paramount Plus stuff before I cancel.
-
I'll stick to the OBC of Camelot.
I think I will too. ::)
-
Brandon Uranowitz was also very good in the revival of Falsettos.
-
They have Showtime, too, now.
-
Congratulations on the show, bk! Would have loved to have been there. Spending a day and having dinner with Richard Sherman and his wife was one of the only positive things about that Johnny Mercer doc!
-
Leopoldstadt is also having a good night, as expected.
-
Best direction of a play: Patrick Marber for Leopoldstadt
-
Camelot was embarrassing. I can't say I liked any of the leads. I think Sher and Kushner really fucked it over.
-
Best direction of a musical: Michael Arden for Parade
-
Look who I found in NYC today
Nice.
-
I liked Marber's speech.
The idea of & Juliet is intriguing to me.....not sure I like the execution - this doesn't make me want to see or hear it.
That's a great photo from DR VIXMOM with my birthday twin.
-
I liked Marber's speech.
The idea of & Juliet is intriguing to me.....not sure I like the execution - this doesn't make me want to see or hear it.
As I was watching it, I thought it might be a lot of fun, like the wonderful Two Gentlemen of Verona.
-
Could be. I just don't find the music appealing.
-
So, they try to cut Patrick Marber off, but let Michael Arden go on and on and on with his stuff. Marber was actually charming and funny. Not right.
-
And Juliet - that is literally everything that's wrong with musical theater - from the grandstanding big notes to that terrible choreography with the inventible flipping.
-
I guess they do need writers after all.
Notes written on an arm.
😄
-
I thought I'd be able to watch and have the laptop with me, but that didn't work out. I'm watching but won't be very fast on the posting.
-
Featured Actress in a play: Miriam Silverman
I did not.
Thank you, Jane.
Featured Actor in a play: Brandon Uranowitz
I was very disappointed with that . I just saw Leopoldstadt last week, I couldn’t even tell you which character he played, he certainly didn’t give an outstanding performance.
IMHO David Zayas wuz robbed
-
Ketchuping here and just saw the picture. Wonderful, vixmom!
-
Feel better vibes for George.
-
Featured Actress in a musical: Bonnie Milligan
I didn’t see that play so I cannot fairly compare but I was rooting for Katie Sullivan
-
We’re missing a lot of the Tony show because our local CBS station keeps bringing in their 3rd-string meteorologist to belabor some bad weather way east of Cincinnati.
-
Nice to see you, Edisaurus.
-
Why did I never get a feeling from Some Like It Hot that it took place in 1929?
-
First of all, could they have made the stairs to the stage any more awkward?
-
Edi!!!
-
They have been traveling for 3 weeks, including a cruise.
At least he wasn’t sick during that time.
Yes, better to get sick after returning home.
-
I have landed in Honolulu (cue “How the hell do you spell Honolulu” from “The Cradle Will Rock”). Waiting for the connection to Maui.
-
When this Macbook's battery dies, I'll be signing off.
-
I sort of liked the number from SOME LIKE IT HOT - but it's kind of disappointing how all of the creators/performers of the show keep saying how much they DON'T like the source material and how awful it is....and how their show is NOTHING like it.....
-
Second of all, Some Like it Hot - yet another pastiche score from those writers - and a very uninspired number at that. This will probably be the shortest Tony Awards ever and they could have given all the awards on the main broadcast - no excuse not to.
-
That Camelot mash-up was most disheartening.
-
I don’t know if the awards will be on later. So keep the announcements coming.
-
I do not care for page seven.
-
The leading lady's costume was weird.....like it needed one more hook & eye.
-
Vixmom! Love the photo of you and Jose!
-
Of course, they might have another hour of commercials...
-
I am hoping I like the INTO THE WOODS number.
-
Hello DR EDI!
-
How is the lack of writers?
Page eight.
-
And the number from SWEENEY TODD.
Time will tell.
-
DR Edi, I am sorry I missed you.
I do love seeing Christian Borle, even for a bit.
-
Hey, JANE and Jane!
-
Hey, JANE and Jane!
Hi :)
-
I still feel it’s incredibly wrong to leave out the Tony Award for Best Score from the main broadcast.
I don’t understand that way of thinking.
Unforgivable.
-
Feel better vibes for George.
Thanks, John.
-
That theater looks really beautiful. I had never known about it. Is it used often?
-
I do love seeing Christian Borle, even for a bit.
Hi, Edi!
I am also a huge fan of Christian Borle.
-
That was supposed to be a JRand hello, lol!
-
I don’t know if the awards will be on later. So keep the announcements coming.
It will be rebroadcast right after the first broadcast is done.
-
Don't know. It's incredible!
-
I do love seeing Christian Borle, even for a bit.
Hi, Edi!
I am also a huge fan of Christian Borle.
et moi aussi!
-
How is the lack of writers?
Lacking. ::)
-
For the first time, the Tony Awards will be presented at the historic United Palace. The history of the United Palace begins in 1930 when it opened as one of five Loew’s “Wonder Theatres,” premiere vaudeville and movie houses located in four boroughs and New Jersey. With nearly 3,400 seats the United Palace is Manhattan’s 4th largest theatre, and hosts concerts, movie premieres, film shoots, and other events. The United Palace serves the Washington Heights community by showcasing the performing and visual art of local artists – many of them school children – and housing the non-profit Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance.
-
I still feel it’s incredibly wrong to leave out the Tony Award for Best Score from the main broadcast.
I don’t understand that way of thinking.
Unforgivable.
Exactly!
-
Leaving out Best Score from the broadcast makes NO sense!
So cute! And so was the cow. ;)
Eh.
Since I am not watching the awards.............
-
I liked the INTO THE WOODS number!
Yes Milky White was fun!
I too am a Christian Borle fan.
And of course a Brian D'Arcy James fan.
I pity whoever is sitting behind them
Hello, everyone.
I liked the INTO THE WOODS number!
Yes Milky White was fun!
I too am a Christian Borle fan.
And of course a Brian D'Arcy James fan.
I did like the Milky White puppet when I saw the Encores production
-
Feel better vibes for DRs george, Ginny, and anyone else who is ailing.
-
The sweetened hooting and hollering is nauseating.
-
Who is that person in the ridiculous red glitter hood?
I think that that was producer Jordan Roth...just a guess, though.
-
And I'm weary of all the grandstanding about stuff.
-
Best featured actor in a musical: Alex Newell
Nice. Did they thank Lea Michele?
-
Just kidding.
-
I would love to see Parade.
-
I was asking the same thing DR VIXMOM.
-
What's non-bianary? Maybe they meant non-binary.
-
I love PARADE but when did Ben Platt start singing like Teresa Brewer?
-
What on earth is with Ben Platt's vibrato and singing???
-
Light bump - every time, every number.
-
Remember when musicals had intricate sets?
The original Into the Woods had a great set.
It isn't really fair to judge the scenery from the Tony's. I believe the producers of the nominated shows have to pay for the sets for the Tony awards.
-
Heavy mitts.
-
Remember when musicals had intricate sets?
The original Into the Woods had a great set.
YES!
-
Not a fan of Michael Arden. I am in the minority.
I would love to see Parade.
Yes, I would like to see that as well.
-
Did this start at five?
-
I've seen Parade three times - the original production, which was the best, the underdone Rob Ashford version, and a rip-off of the Ashford version. I just don't like the show at all, but at least the Hal Prince production was interestingly staged. For me, the score is declamatory rather than coming from the characters way of speaking, book-wise.
-
Remember when musicals had intricate sets?
The original Into the Woods had a great set.
It isn't really fair to judge the scenery from the Tony's. I believe the producers of the nominated shows have to pay for the sets for the Tony awards.
There wasn’t much of a set for the Encores production either
-
But they keep on doing it.
-
It's why Into the Woods isn't doing well on the road - it's an Encores production, which isn't really a production. Road audiences feel gypped - that's the word.
-
I love PARADE but when did Ben Platt start singing like Teresa Brewer?
It's always been that way, at least since Dear Evan Hanson.
-
Page ten.
-
Sorry about your test, DR George. ~~~QUICK RECOVERY VIBES~~~
-
Did this start at five?
Yes, and is scheduled to go until 8:00 pm (on the left coast). Then, it'll repeat as soon as it's done.
-
I watched the pre-show on Pluto but will watch the ceremony proper another time.
-
They overcame the lack of writing by showing many video clips of the technical process.
-
When Platt was sixteen or seventeen and did the Kritzerland show - he sounded nothing like what he sounds like know - he's so mannered and the vibrato is embarrassing. Not for me, I'm afraid, and then Lucille comes on and they sing as loud as they can at each other.
-
Sorry about your test, DR George. ~~~QUICK RECOVERY VIBES~~~
Thanks, Singdaw.
-
The Lifetime Achievement Awards for Joel Grey and especially John Kander were quite moving, I thought.
-
Thanks for the great photo, DR vixmom. So glad you two could connect.
-
I HATE the audience.
-
John and Joel don't even get to say "thank you"?
-
So we're not even at two hours yet?
-
Because they probably have another forty minutes of commercials to get in.
-
Best book of a musical: Kimberly Akimbo
-
Let me get this straight - they give best book of a musical on the main awards but NOT the score??? Are they NUTS?
-
Ah…
Sweeney Todd.
-
Kimberly is cleaning up.
-
Let me get this straight - they give best book of a musical on the main awards but NOT the score??? Are they NUTS?
Yes.
They have the wrong priorities.
-
DR Jrand72 - Joel and John gave their acceptance speeches on the pre-show.
-
Ah…
Sweeney Todd.
Interesting choreography.
-
What the HELL was that choreography on Sweeney Todd???
-
Looked like a bad music video.
-
AH thanks DR singdaw....I didn't join the festivities until 8 p.m.
-
Does no one know how to choreograph anymore?
-
DR Jrand72 - Joel and John gave their acceptance speeches on the pre-show.
Ridiculous
-
I always like SWEENEY TODD - so I was okay with it.
-
Hopefully the show is better.....choreography....hmmmmm.....busy.
-
Does no one know how to choreograph anymore?
What, you didn’t like that weird Jerky zombie like “dancing”?
-
What was television Giddyguts Julianne Hough doing on the Tony Awards?
-
Zombie Dancing.....we could have used some of that in GREASE.
-
Yes not even two hours in.
-
The Darling Daughter just texted me the same thing about the choreography - of course, she grew up watching the great numbers on the Tony Awards and seeing shows by Michael Bennett, Gower Champion, Bob Fosse and the like.
-
And Jerome Robbins.
-
And Onna White.
-
And Joe Layton. And Danny Daniels.
-
Zombie Dancing.....we could have used some of that in GREASE.
:D
-
And Joe Layton. And Danny Daniels.
It definitely was a different time. :-\
-
Sorry I missed DR edisaurus.
-
Today was the first day in a long while that we've had clear blue skies.
-
Oh dear - now we have the nadir.
-
That was nice.
-
At least the revival of Sweeney Todd has the full orchestra and original orchestrations.
I miss that so much.
-
This is embarrassing.
-
He sounds sharp, he sounds flat.
-
And listen to that moronic audience, seriously.
-
I'm not sure I ever need to see another Broadway musical for a long, long time.
-
Best Revival of a Musical: Parade
-
Parade, as expected.
-
What are there, fifty producers on that stage??? Ridiculous.
-
I wanted to hear what Jason Robert Brown had to say.
Boy, will he be mad that they played him off.
-
Alfred Uhry got to speak, but Jason Robert Brown got cut off before he started.
-
A song from Phantom of the Opera.
-
Hey, George!
-
Oh, the In Memoriam section.
-
Hey, George!
Hello (again), Edi!
-
Good night, friends.
-
Wow! They're actually showing the people's pictures and names!
-
PAGE TWELVE DANCE!!
-
Dear singer: Open your damn eyes - there is nothing more selfish than a singer singing with eyes closed.
-
Didn't know Perry Cline had passed. He stage managed several shows I recorded. Really nice guy.
-
I must've talked to Susan Schulman, the press agent, just before she passed - I was asking her about Sami publicity.
-
I wish we heard what JRB had to say.
-
JRB gets played off when all he got out was a preliminary "um" ?!
-
All those faces......
-
Red Press!
-
JRB could have spoken if we didn't have to wait for two minutes while fifty producers annoyingly had to get up onstage. Should not be allowed - one or two representing the mass.
-
Yes I am afraid right now choreography is in the hands of folks who don't understand the whys and wherefores of it......or in the feet, so to speak.
-
I heard him say "Mary Phagan".....
-
Not sure how an unscripted broadcast is running this long.
-
Dear singer: Open your damn eyes - there is nothing more selfish than a singer singing with eyes closed.
Ben Platt is notorious for this. ::)
-
That Neil Diamond guy was pretty bad......
-
But I called it earlier - forty minutes more of commercials - we've had fifteen or twenty so far. So...
-
Was that singer one of the Christines?
-
Best performance by a leading actor in a musical: J. Harrison Ghee
-
Hey, Singdaw. Dealing with financial stuff and dropping in when I take breaks. I'm really happy about Parade. I know some of the Montag family here in Atlanta (who owned the pencil factory and related to Uhry) and Mary Phagen's grave is across the street from my house in Marietta. Some of Marietta's most well-known families had members in the lynching party. They tried to mention Mary Phagen's name in the speech but got cut off.
-
Wow! They're actually showing the people's pictures and names!
Better than the Oscars!
-
Best leading actress in a play: Jodie Comer
-
Wow! They're actually showing the people's pictures and names!
Better than the Oscars!
Exactly! Hopefully, they'll learn something.
-
Can someone please explain to me why Jessica Chastain and everyone else in her PLAY has a microphone running down her damn face? Explain it to me. What kind of theater is that? Movie? If you can't project, don't get onstage. I just don't get it.
-
And why did Ms. Harden whisper the winner's name?
-
Why does this music remind me of Mr. Bojangles?
-
Maybe it will be three hours.
-
Still have Shucked.
-
Lead actress in a musical.
-
Best musical.
-
Best play?
-
Is that it?
-
I might like Kimberly Akimbo with a different leading lady.....
-
And why did Ms. Harden whisper the winner's name?
I didn't notice that.
-
Me too, Jrand.
-
She's not an old lady acting young......she's a young girl who looks old.....
-
Thinking about what to have for food once this thing is over.
-
Tacos?
-
Not sure.
-
I haven’t been tempted to see Kimberly Akimbo, that number didn’t inspire me to plunk down the best part of $200
-
Chili cheese burger from Tommy's? Could be.
-
Chicken breast and wing and chicken pasta salad? Possible?
-
I love Marcia Gay Harden. I ran into her at a bookstore during the Ojai Film Festival and we talked for over an hour. We were both going thru divorces and she gave me a wonderful pep talk.
-
I think Marcia GH said the winner's name wrong to begin with and had to correct herself.....she said Josie I think instead of Jodie.
-
Many, many commercials.
-
I'm kind of afraid to see the SHUCKED number.
-
Or something new and interesting for food. What that would be I have no idea. Could have a Chinese chicken salad from Stanley's - probably the healthiest and most calorie friendly.
-
But a little boring.
-
Interesting that we haven't had many GUESTS in the thread tonight.
-
But we do have 186 GUESTS here.
-
I love Marcia Gay Harden. I ran into her at a bookstore during the Ojai Film Festival and we talked for over an hour. We were both going thru divorces and she gave me a wonderful pep talk.
That's pretty cool, Edi!
-
Best new play: Leopoldstadt
-
Well that kind of made me laugh!
-
Corn.
-
SHUCKED.
-
Chicken breast sounds good.
-
First Corn Pudding from Schmigadoon, which astonishingly won best song last year at the Emmys. Now Corn.
-
I don’t think I’ll be emptying my piggy bank for Shucked either
-
But I still have some broiled chops left.
-
I think by the time eight rolls around here the chicken place will be closed.
-
Corn.
That pretty well sums it up.
-
I love Marcia Gay Harden. I ran into her at a bookstore during the Ojai Film Festival and we talked for over an hour. We were both going thru divorces and she gave me a wonderful pep talk.
Oh, that was lovely of her
-
I have dropped from 247 lbs to 222 lbs by - surprise - not eating so much.
But it isn't easy.
-
This is since I saw my new doctor in early May and my sugar was so high....
-
Sugar now is between 138 and 145 most days.
-
My sister likes Marcia Gay Hardin in her TV show.
-
It's gonna go all three hours - still commercials that need to air.
-
First Corn Pudding from Schmigadoon, which astonishingly won best song last year at the Emmys. Now Corn.
And then there was "Jerry Likes My Corn" from Grey Gardens.
-
Thinking it will be chicken breast - they're open until nine.
-
Will the corn places still be open?
-
Guess I'll order now and it usually takes ten or fifteen minutes, so should be fine. But we still have to have Funny Girl.
-
Cobb County, lol. My old home!
-
Lead actress in a musical: Victoria Clark
-
I seriously need to follow your lead, Elmore!
-
Lead actor in a play: Sean Hayes
-
I have dropped from 247 lbs to 222 lbs by - surprise - not eating so much.
But it isn't easy.
Congratulations!
-
Up next after the commercial, best musical.
-
I need to lose weight too
-
Thanks DR VIXMOM.....I would like to see the 1's again.....but I doubt it.
-
This is what theater has become - America's Got Talent/American Idol-style audiences. Cannot stand it. I just yelled at the TV.
-
I'm a big fan of Oscar Levant. Has anyone seen Good Night, Oscar?
-
Sean's me me me me me speech was a bit much.
-
I liked Lea doing that song......and she looked like she was having fun.
-
And a light change on every new line in the song - stop it.
-
Two minutes to three hours. I just ordered.
-
I'll take it.....
-
Best musical: Kimberly Akimbo
-
I guess it's Clark's weird mouth full of dentures or something that makes me not want to look at her.
-
Good eating to MR BK.
-
No Tony for me....ah well.
-
Signing off from the Corn Belt.
-
Good night, everyone.
-
That was fun.
Thanks, BK, for hosting the party.
-
Feel better vibes for George.
-
Good night, all.
-
I hate to do it, BK (no, I REALLY do), but I need to go to sleep. I'm barely able to stay awake, so I need to go.
Hopefully, I'll feel a little better tomorrow. :-\
-
More vibes for George.
-
Hope you feel better soon, George! Nytol!
-
So wonderful reading about the successful Kritzerland show last night!
-
Watching the Tonys.
-
I missed the first hour.
-
Sweeney just happened. The choreography started out like bad hula, then sank into zombie stupidity. And Josh’s mic didn’t pick up his entrance.
Still, it sounded good.
-
Parade did not sound good.
-
It was touching seeing Christian Borle cry when J. was giving their acceptance speech.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
For some reason I kept leaving the letter 'a" out of every word. It was - peculiar.
-
Hopefully, I caught all of them. And I just lett the a out of caught and all. What gives?
-
What's with the damn A's?
-
That's the news of the day.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
George went to bed at eight o'clock.
-
I, on the other hand, am up.
-
I will try to be in bed by one-thirty at the latest.
-
I just will.
-
What?
-
Did someone say something?
-
I thought I heard a voice.
-
Page sixteen.
