Well, you've read the notes, the notes hate when that happens, and now it is time for you to post until the I hate when that happens cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RESURRECT!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept very well. I worked so hard yesterday, much harder than I do when I'm here alone, since I'm both a cripple and a lazy slob, my legs are a complete mess today. I can barely move so I need to give them a rest today. I have to be out and abot tomorrow for lab work, so I need a day of rest. I just texted Mario to cancel today's session.
-
DR Jrand72, both Annabelle and Stella did their usual "Hey, Sailor!" act with Mario, climbing all over him, wanting pets and hugs, although Stella has begun doing something curious when company shows up. Before she is nice to my guest, she climbs into my lap, as if to say to the guest, he's my property. She stays in my lap for 15-30 minutes, then ignores me.
As to Thatch, he's no longer the scaredy-cat he was for years, hiding out until the company leaves. He's not friendly to Mario, he checks out the work going on and stays out of Mario;s way.
-
So, I'm doing as little as possible today. I have forms to fill out for Medicaid, so I may work on those today.
-
Last night, I fiished No. 28 for the ballet; I think I now have ten numbers left to score.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
This day is already flying by like a gazelle singing five choruses of "Chiribiribim."
-
:)
-
Access-a-Ride scheduled for tomorrow. I'm going to 2 West 86th Street, but the first, very lovely lady I spoke to reversed my home address and location address, and I had to call back to correct the situation. Both AAR folk were pleasant and delightful, so I have no complaints.
-
Good morning
-
My dear friend for the past 52 years is visiting from Michigan, arriving today .
-
So tonight we will go out to dinner with my mom and Vixdad
-
I slept through the night I and know I dreamt but the dreams vanished as I woke , leaving no memory behind

Happy Graduation Day for Rodzinski Jr!
-
DR ELMORE it sounds like the kats have it down to a routine!
-
Major miracle vibes for MR BK.
-
I remembered a dream from last night. It was something to do with a production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris in some club space in Manhattan, and I was hanging out with Elly Stone, who rode about on a bicycle.
-
DR ELMORE it sounds like the kats have it down to a routine!
The Annabelle & Stella show, indeed!
-
:)
-
Slogging toward page two.
-
Will check out the Rock Hudson documentary.
-
A Rockumentary, as it were.
-
Oy.

Those Bing wallpapers ARE cool, DR George!

Morning.
Thursday morning.
Beautiful day outside my windows.
Having coffee now.
-
Sleep was very, very good. Used my CPAP all night long without any sinus blockages. Still breathing freely this morning, so things are looking up...until they aren't.
Dreamed a lot. I recall a little. I was in the Navy. Reported to a new assignment. Everyone in my office I had worked with before. That actually never happened, so the dream was a new experience.
-
Am listening to Anna Cabrera on MSNBC in the background as they discuss the Supreme Court's ruling that affirmative action is un-Constitutional.
This, apparently, impacts higher education. Universities are now going to have to change their selection processes and not base any decisions on race.
-
Expect some major political fallout.
-
Donnie Deutsch was on "Morning Joe" doing his "Brand Up/Brand Down" stint. Today, organizations that are deemed patriotic (all American, as it were) were highlighted with Jeep being Number 1, and Disney being Number 2.
That led to comments that Governor DeSantis has only heightened Americans' opinion of Disney and that he is on the losing side of any action he takes against Disney.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I and 0 guests say good morning, ChasSmith.
-
I have to run out of here for a while, for a quick preliminary rehearsal with someone on a song we're doing in August.
-
I and 0 guests say good morning, ChasSmith.
Good morning, sir!
-
I had what seems like several dreams last night, but the only one I remember was a doozy of a nightmare (though not the yelling-myself-awake kind) about being trapped in a place with a friend (not sure who) by two very evil men who had almost supernaturally sadistic powers.
-
With that, I must leave you till later!
-

All righty, then! DR JRand72 is needed here, I believe.

Yay, my order has been processed for my medication and I have tracking number.

Air Quality Index is 163 here in Fairfax County, Virginia.
-
Yay, my order has been processed for my medication and I have tracking number.
That's great, DR Jane!
-
Fed-x estimates it will arrive on the 3rd. I was hoping for Saturday though the 3rd is still OK.
-
Once Fed-x actually processes my package the delivery date will be updated.
-
Fingers crossed it won't be later than the 3rd.
-
Happy graduation day to Rodzinski Jr.

Health vibes for everyone

Has anyone heard of Amazon Vine? Is it a phishing email scam?

Health vibes for everyone
Ditto!
-
A Rockumentary, as it were.
I saw what you did there.
-
I forgive you.
-
Can’t speak for the rest of the groaning members at HHW.
-
Three!
-
Good morn! Just ordered my Preview Harvey book from B&N.
-
DR Ron, looking to work from home, most likely, unless I can find something cool to do around my village. This summer, might help out the contractor who did our kitchen and baths as he lost his one employee and good help is hard to find here. I cannot legally work in Canada.
-
I had a somewhat steady stream of freelance editorial work over the years, but my main client dried up over the last few months.
-
Has anyone heard of Amazon Vine? Is it a phishing email scam?
I haven't.
-
I asked Keith and he hasn't heard of it.
-
Work vibes for DR Rodzinski.
-
We are on the way home.
-
Two and a half hours of driving left.
-
Before returning home we will stop at the car wash.
-
Then we will go to the market.
-
I miss the days when taking my kids through a car wash was akin to a day at an amusement park to them.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep.

Those Bing wallpapers ARE cool, DR George!
I know! I've actually been saving them myself since almost the beginning in 2009.
-
I only discovered that website a couple of years ago.
-
There was another fan-created Bing picture archive that I used, but it shut down several years ago, so I was really glad I found this one.
-
There is still another online archive, but it's all in Chinese (but easy to translate) and is just very slow, so this other website is better in that respect, also. :)
-
Yay, my order has been processed for my medication and I have tracking number.
Whew!!
-
Has anyone heard of Amazon Vine? Is it a phishing email scam?
I don't think I've heard of it. :-\

We are in Washington.
-
Good medicine news from DR JANE.
-
DR JOHN G I used to be an Amazon Vine person......but I always ended up with junk to review.....nothing I really wanted, so I stopped....it's nice if you can something now and then for a product you like and get some free stuff.
But it is a hassle.
-
Hmmm.....we just had a severe thunderstorm here with some very high winds.
A neighbor's tree branch fell into his yard.....not big enough to cause much damage.....but it's pretty big!
-
The news reports say that half of Greencastle is without power, so I am kind of waiting to see if rehearsal is canceled.
-
Nicole Wallace is interviewing Joe Biden at the moment. What a decent man he is.
-

Take them through in the back of a pickup truck.
-
I had a somewhat steady stream of freelance editorial work over the years, but my main client dried up over the last few months.
Does your village have a newspaper? Would freelancing for them be of interest to you?
i think that assisting in home improvement projects sounds good, too.
-
Weren't Jane and Keith just elsewhere on two separate occasions - do they EVER stay home?
-
What is this page four malarky?
-
I decided not to go out for food - made some pasta with butter and cheese and onions. It was good. I will go out later for some Diet Coke.
-
We are in Washington.
Welcome home, Jane!
-
The news reports say that half of Greencastle is without power, so I am kind of waiting to see if rehearsal is canceled.
Yikes!

Nicole Wallace is interviewing Joe Biden at the moment. What a decent man he is.
Definitely! And Nicole Wallace is one of the good interviewers, too!
-
Weren't Jane and Keith just elsewhere on two separate occasions - do they EVER stay home?
Not for the duration of DH Keith receiving weekly treatments.
-
My used copy of the Fog City Diner Cookbook arrived today. Should I bake and send you something, DR DR Iris? :)
-
The New York Times is encouraging me to make Oreo cookie bark.
-
I have been doing something I've thought about doing for the past thirteen years. We'll see how it goes. It involves writing and that's all I'll say for the moment.
-

Cole Porter. Why Don’t We Try Staying Home?
-
Good medicine news from DR JANE.
Thanks.
-
Weren't Jane and Keith just elsewhere on two separate occasions - do they EVER stay home?
What, you think we are having fun on these recent trips. I assure you, we are not having fun.
-
We are home now.
-
We don't leave until the 5th :)
-
Loving Chita’s autobiography. She gives lavish space to the Shoestring Revue. I didn’t know she introduced Garbage since she wasn’t on the album.

We are truly tired of this, especially Keith.
-
My used copy of the Fog City Diner Cookbook arrived today. Should I bake and send you something, DR DR Iris? :)
Cool :)
-
I have our new sheets in the laundry to put on the bed. We did not want to use the flannel sheets in this weather.
-
They are not my first choice of sheets, however, the color matches the new spread Keith picked.
-
It’s so hot today I could just sploot.
-
How hot is it?
-
I have been doing something I've thought about doing for the past thirteen years. We'll see how it goes. It involves writing and that's all I'll say for the moment.
Can't wait to find out about it!
-
I'm now off to the Washington Center to work concessions/bartending, after which I'll watch the Prince tribute show!
Until later!
-
Loving Chita’s autobiography. She gives lavish space to the Shoestring Revue. I didn’t know she introduced Garbage since she wasn’t on the album.
Bea Arthur sang "Garbage."

On the recording, yes, which Chita wasn’t on.
-
Five!

What a day. Rehearsal, and lots of other stuff got done. It oddly feels like a Friday evening right now. More specifically, it feels like the start of a long Fourth of July weekend. I think that's partly because I'm suddenly so free of all the musical stuff. Maybe. Who knows. Well, tomorrow's the real Friday and I have to get up early to drop the car off at the car place...proving that there's no rest for the wicked.
-
I need to get Chita's book one of these days.
-
DR JOHN G I used to be an Amazon Vine person......but I always ended up with junk to review.....nothing I really wanted, so I stopped....it's nice if you can something now and then for a product you like and get some free stuff.

Thank you. I’ll try it awhile. I ordered a cake top and two shirts today.

Last episode of The Night Manager. Most excellent series.
-
Watered the plants. Even the water isn’t totally helping in this heat.
-
Doing a 180 from John Le Carre spy land. Watching Island of the Blue Dolphins.
-

I am glad you agree.

-
I need to get the last load out of the dryer.
-
The last load for today, more to be done tomorrow.
-
Back from a birthday dinner celebration with a friend. WAY too much food was consumed.
I skipped the appetizers. I had:
A popover. A wedge salad. A filet with baked potato and sauteed mushrooms.
A bite of flourless chocolate cake.
-
That was more than enough.
-
'night

Sounds nice.
-
The Dolphin disc was defective, so I washed some dishes instead.
-
But the water was too hot.
-
So, now I’m starting If I Had a Million, an anthology movie with a host of stars (Gary Cooper, W.C. Fields) and directions, including Ernst Lubitsch.
-
I hope the company was as nice as the food DR singdaw.
-
Well rehearsal was had.....and the east side of Greencastle is still in the dark.....the theeder was right on the line.
WalMart and a lot of stores in that mall were dark and a few stop lights were out....so it was very exciting trying to get through town.
-
I an intrigued by MR BK's writing project.
-
I shall now go look for the Rock Hudson documentary.
-
Slow posting day
-
Hope everyone ate well.
-
I had chicken salad for dinner.
-
Didn’t have to turn the oven on.
-
It’s still too hot.
-
But I am running the dryer.
-
One more.
-
Six!
-
W.C. Fields is partnered with Marie Dressler. And a great team they make.
-
Sorry. Too pooped to post.
-
Anything noteworthy, at any rate.
-
Why don’t we try staying home
-
Why don’t we try not roam
-
What if we threw
-
A party for two
-
Watching Casa Susanna, a documentary about cross-dressers in the Catskills in the 1960s.
-
And asked only you and me
-
Though all the home folks that we know
-
Pay for it later in Reno
-
The company was also delightful, DR Jrand72. There were 8 of us, altogether. The waiter got quite a workout.
-
Sorry to interrupt your lyric, DR John G.
-
That's just rude.
-
I can't even make it to seven.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Just sitting still
-
Might give us a brand new thrill
-
So why don’t we try staying home.
-
Watching Casa Susanna, a documentary about cross-dressers in the Catskills in the 1960s.
I used to live in the same county as Casa Susanna. Didn’t know that history
-
We’re marching to page seven.
-
Won’t BK be happy.
-
But we need to get there first.
-
I never knew Gary Cooper was ever that young.
-
I’m doing a monologue here.
-
To be or not to be.
-
A plague on both your houses.
-
It is truth university accepted
-
Thst we can get to seven in one
-
Seven!
-
Tonight my best friend since we were both 14 arrived from Michigan
-
She is staying at my mom’s house
-
Tomorrow she has a high school reunion dinner
-
( we didn’t go to to the same schools)
-
We met on a church retreat and immediately became joined at the hip although we lived in different towns
-
She currently lives in Michigan
-
But tonight we had dinner , along with Vixdad and my mom at the Cheescake Factory
-
And we had a little toast , albeit with water, for the Vixter and Vixhubby who today were celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary
-
We skipped appetizers
-
I had the wonderful chicken Madeira for dinner and took half home
-
Vixdad had fish and chip and I don’t remember what Mom and Michelle had
-
Then we all had cheesecake
-
Everyone had strawberry except for me
-
I had the caramel turtle deliciousness
-
Then we drove mom and Michelle back to my Mona’s
-
Vixdad is sleeping and I shall go join him shortly
-
I do not think I can get us to 8
-
All on my lonesome
-
Isn’t it Rodzinski’s responsibility anyway?
-
After all he did open the dreaded page seven
-
The bane of BK’s existence
-
I am doing my best to make it disappear
-
But it is persistent
-
It’s a perfectly persistent page
-
I am out of posts
-
I have naught to say
-
Which generally does not prevent my posting
-
So why should today be any different?
-
Perhaps because I can barely keep my eyes open
-
And I may collapse from exhaustion
-
At any moment
-
Oh my….page eight!
-
Your dinner sounds great, Vixmom. Except for the cheesecake.
-
Good night, all.
-
I had a somewhat steady stream of freelance editorial work over the years, but my main client dried up over the last few months.
Does your village have a newspaper? Would freelancing for them be of interest to you?
It does. It only comes out once a month.
-
Vixdad had fish and chip and I don’t remember what Mom and Michelle had
Vixdad had fish and chip and I don’t remember what Mom and Michelle had
I hate when they give you only one chip.
-
People from Michigan are called Michiganders, as we all know.
Except for those from the Upper Peninsula, who they call Yoopers.
-
The boy Rodz finished school. I asked him what he did in the hour and a half they had today. He said they watched the teacher open presents.
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
Had a piece of cheesecake in addition to the pasta - I ate MUCH less pasta than usual so calorie-wise, not too terrible.
-
What are we doing on page eight?
-
Riddle me that, Tonto.
-
Who here was in the TV movie/pilot version of If I Had a Million?
-
Riddle me that, Sabu.
-
Not understanding page eight.
-
Could someone translate eight?
-
Or let eight meet its fate?
-
Before it's too late.
-
First there was Watergate, now there's Eightgate.
-
Got that straight?
-
Let's not wait.
-
And George? I guess we have to wait.
-
Wow, BK, John Schuck, Kenneth Mars, Brett Somers. Quite a cast! What do you recall?
-
Now wait just a damn minute. It is now twelve-thirty.
-
And I'm thinking where the HELL is George?
-
We're stuck on eight.
-
Gee, I wonder why?
-
I fell asleep?
-
I was out eating?
-
I went down a rabbit hole.
-
I decided that we didn't want another record-breaking month?
-
Well page nine is fine but page ten is when?
-
Certainly George isn't going to be helpful.
-
That much is abundently clear.
-
Clear as a clear blue sky.
-
We have been forsaken.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
And there are morons somewhere setting off firecrackers.
-
Note to morons: It's not even July yet.
-
Note to George: You will be bitch-slapped from here to eternity and hell and back. You may even force me to eat some damn popcorn.
