Well, you've read the notes, the notes were up the Amazon-style notes, and now it is time for you to post until the up the Amazon cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MITIGATE!
-
Welcome 157 GUESTS!
-
Good morning, all!
-
It's gonna be another hot day (a Jones & Schmidt reference), and I am staying inside.
-
I spoke to Joshie yesterday, and we will hit an Apple store next Wednesday after my doctor's appointment to look for a new computer.
-
I'm having second thoughts about the ballet number, so that's occupying most of my mind. I may need to look over it againbefore I proceed to the next section.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Go tell Aunt Rhody.
-
Or Aunt Edna.
-
Go tell it on the mountain.
-
Tell it high
-
And tell it low
-
Tell it to the baker
-
And the man in the square
-
(I am making it up now)
-
Tell the William Tell overture.
-
Tell Telluride.
-
Tell Tellahassee.
-
(poetic license)
-
Tell, telltale!
-
OK, I think I've gone about as fer as I can go with that one.
-
I hear sighs of relief.
-
Release the relief!
-
And the relish tray, for that matter.
-
Doesn't everyone love a good relish tray?
-
I know I do.
-
And a relish tray can provide relief.
-
Relish the relishes!
-
Oy.
-
TWO.
-
Thank goodness.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning

DR Ron Pulliam, is it time for your morning bun(s)?
My mourning bun are sleepy.

It is time for coffee, however,
And a blueberry muffin will go very well with my coffee.

Oh, gizzafratz and ratzindatz! Ear worm!!!
-
I think I finally have the missing piece of the puzzle why boys had different scouting goals than the girls.
-
I must say that DR vixmom has had some very weird days this week. I thought her dream from yesterday was going to be the most worrisome, but now I am not certain.
-
I slept very, very well, and I know I dreamed, but...as has been the case this week...the dream vanished upon my awaking.
-
Time for that cup of coffee now...and a muffin.
-
Good morning, Rodzinski!
-
I’ll take a muffin, Ron.
-
Do you know the muffin man?
-
(another earworm)
-
We need an earworm to get rid of the earworm.
-
I think I'll go eat worms.

Good morning, all.

I slept very late because I could.
-
Amazon PayPal Ebay vibes for MR BK.

DR GEORGE the faded actor is also the only male actor NOT wearing spectacles.
-
I’ve never seen BULWORTH either. I think someone told me, back when it was relatively new, that I should. So I’ll get to it one of these days.
-
Friday is good. We do not have rehearsal tonight.
-
This will be our third consecutive 90-degree day — give or take; I don’t know if it reached exactly that, so maybe or maybe not technically a heat wave.
-
I think we’re going to go see the Indiana Jones movie on Sunday afternoon. I haven’t been to the local AMC in several months, and I really do intend to be a little more regular at it, so the outing will be fun enough. I don’t expect to fall in love with the movie. Whatever interest or pleasure it provides will be fine. And this will be in their Dolby room, whatever in the HELL that’s supposed to mean.
-
George, thanks for the excellent news regarding Greene.
-
I miss a lot of news when we aren't home.
-
I also keep losing the wifi connection here.
-
Keith can't get on at all and has to connect to his phone.
-
It is odd I can connect while he can't.

I thought Dolby was just sound. I looked up their Dolby room and it is also vision.

DR Chas I look forward to reading your reaction to the Dolby room.

I am so grateful to BK for recording the Lost in Boston and Unsung Musicals series of recordings, but especially that he recorded Karen Morrow singing the 3 cut songs from Ballroom.
I saw it pre-Broadway in Stratford, Connecticut and am happy to have these remembrances.
It's a great marriage of material and performer.

Hello, everyone.

I tried to log in a couple hours ago, but kept having password problems.

The joys of technology.

I saw the ophthalmologist yesterday. I’m very grateful for having good insurance — the office visit and four tests cost me nothing, but the Uber sure did! I reserved a ride for the first time. I’ve had to wait 30 minutes at times for an Uber without a reservation and didn’t want to be late. The lowest price offered to me was $32 for a 15 minute trip! It’s usually half that or less. Are reservations more expensive? The driver didn’t know. Coming home with no reservation was $11. So I guess they are. Still cheap for all I had done, but still.

TOD:
The Great Train Robbery. I’d seen it several years ago, but mistakenly thought this was a remake. No, but it was worth seeing again. Last night I watched episode 1, which is the story of the robbery itself. Tonight I’ll watch e2, which is the story told from the side of the police.

Yes, it is. Did you lose some weight? Losing even 5% of your body weight results in lower numbers all around. (I love that statistic)

Time and again I've longed for adventure

Something to make my heart beat the faster
-
What did I long for?
-
I never really knew
-
Finding your love I've found my adventure
-
Touching your hand,
-
My heart beats the faster,
-
All that I want in all of this world is you.
-
You are the promised kiss of springtime
-
That makes the lonely winter seem long
-
You are the breathless hush of evening
-
That trembles on the brink of a lovely song.
-
You are the angel glow
-
That lights a star.
-
The dearest things I know
-
Are what you are.
-
Some day my happy arms will hold you
-
And some day I'll know that moment divine
-
When all the things you are

Are mine.

I’ve started listening to King: A Life. The book is fascinating. The reader is, at times a little rushed. He said that one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s favorite operas was Donizetti’s Lucia di L’amour.

Tonight at my mom's, we played our usual three games of Phase 10.

The big upset (for the other players, that is) is that I won all THREE games!! :D

I don't think I've ever won all three games in one night, but I might have once before.

I won no games of Phase 38.

I don't know if anyone in our group has won all the games in one night, but that's more likely.

I won no games of Phase 38.
