So, who's going to see the new Barbie movie?
Congrats on reaching nearly the end DR ELMORE of number 30 that is.
Lordy me! No. 30 is finished and sitting in the envelope to be scanned. I can begin No. 31 tomorrow.

Thank you, John G.!
Tonight is a party for the volunteers at the theater where I usher. The theme is The Great Gatsby.
This doorbell belches fire.
Kids, don't play with superglue.

I saw this production.
Robert Yacko was great, as you can see in the YouTube video above.
Is being withnail like being with child?
Only with a nail?
But we had fun
Brent Spiner
We stopped watching it.
There are so many other programs I would like to jump into, but I mustn't be greedy and go about it in a higgledy-piggledy fashion.
We stopped watching it.
It’s not for everyone. I finally saw it a year or two ago. Not great but I understand the following it has.
The party was fun. The buffet was very good. And among the desserts was a practically perfect pineapple upside down cake. Individual rings with an almond cake base.
I usually welcome any chance to hear the score but I don’t like the Adam Pascal version. I just find the voices thin. Idina Menzel, right? Wrong in my book.
That was the concert at Royal Albert Hall, which I did not see.
I attended the Actors’ Fund Concert in New York in Sept, 2003.
Julia Murney and Sutton Foster were the female leads.
I discovered I do not like their yumm sauce.
Ah…the mysterious sauce known as un-yumm. 🤔
Are any of us using Threads?
I see that I have it, automatically, via my Instagram account.
I get that I can scroll through all the things my Instagram friends have posted.
Every other item appears to be advertising.
And I haven't a clue how to post to Threads if I should ever want to. I see that I can comment, just as I can on Instagram.
Not sure this has a "twitter" vibe to it yet, or not.
TOD:
I would pick four shows I wanted to see, most likely four musicals with great scores (or scores I love) but problematic books that could either be worked on. The first that come to mind:
Something for the Boys
Very Warm for May
Make a Wish
The Nervous Set
The newest of those is from 1959, which means they would most likely never get produced, even in a reading.
Everyone stay away from Threads. Once you download the app you can NEVER delete it. You can "hide" it and not participate but if you delete it you also delete Instagram. Be afraid, be very afraid.
The notes are turning into a novel - fifteen more minutes, so get us to page ten!

So, who's going to see the new Barbie movie?
I enjoyed DR singdaw's concert last night - a couple of my favorite songs.
And congrats to DR GEORGE on his hat trick.
Here is Heather Parisi singing One Night In Bangkok.

TOD:
She Loves Me - the perfect musical
The Secret Garden - love that score
The Light in the Piazza - ditto
Ballroom - dance, score - what's not to love? You'd need a real leading lady
They wouldn't sell a ticket, but that season would please me.

Falsettos

Congrats on reaching nearly the end DR ELMORE of number 30 that is.
I'm rather pleased with what I've done, but I suspect the powers-that-be may request a re-do.
TOD 2:
Personal favorite scores
Jubilee
On the 20th Century
The Good Companions
A Little Night Music
Aliens. They live among us.

I can't decide if I want to eat pasta salad, or to wear it.
Perhaps both.

When you slice a pizza to avoid cutting up any pepperoni and it looks strangely like gerrymandering.

I am a CHESS fanatic.
Have seen at least 6 productions, one concert (Actors Fund- fantastic), and I love the rehearsal videos for the pre-Broadway production that never came to New York, but had a few performances at The Kennedy Center.
YouTube videos to follow.
I like CHESS as well DR IRIS....but have only seen one local Indy production.
