Thanks for capturing my quad-6 post, George. I did not see that coming.

Wasn't Harry Potter a neighbor, also?
OH, this was in Germany. Never mind.
A former co-worker said that her (adult) daughter was on Wheel of Fortune, and the contestants were told that if for any reason the episode didn't air, they wouldn't actually get any of the prizes that they won on the show. The prizes are essentially paid for by the advertising, so if they aren't advertised on the show when broadcast, they wouldn't be paid for.

It would be extremely disappointing to win and then not receive anything.
There must be a trick to searching in HHW, but I can never find anything I'm looking for. I searched BK's notes archive and couldn't find any mention of the M Night Shyamalan film.
:)

And then a day of D&D with Vixdad and some of his friends
I just ate a very nice bagel — sesame, toasted, one side butter and the other cream cheese, with a sprinkle of everything seasoning. It was especially delicious.
The bagel was very nice because of its wonderful texture, and the sad thing is that we don’t know which place it came from. It’s from a batch that Kristi’s office brought in, and the people who supply them get those things from various sources.
Correction/update to my post yesterday:
That nearby production is canceled THIS weekend, the same as DR Matthew’s, with half the cast and SIX of the EIGHT pit players testing positive.
Lemme tell you, I will be first in line for the presumably upcoming new and updated vaccination. My last booster was a year ago, so let’s partay.
Good Morning. I'm off to play a funeral at a different parish this morning, and the request is that it's all on the organ. I'm hoping to get their early to get acquainted with the instrument before the service. You can't just walk in and sit down at a organ and start playing if you've never seen the instrument before as they are are different and do different things, stop names may be in German, all those sort of things. I find it fun, I just hope there is time. Other than that, seeing a show this evening etc... hopefully there will be a bike ride this afternoon.
Those of you who enjoy audio books might find this interesting:

There are some who want to use AI voices instead of celebrities or actors to create audio books.
I really want to spend the day napping and dozing wth the cats, but I have a ballet to finish up, questions from the copyist to answer, Ann and Jen's mail to hetch while they are away, and a TV issue to solve if I can.
Luxuriating in a slow start to the Saturday here. But it’s time to get started on a few things.

Reminds me of this legendary Emmy speech…

DR George, thank you for mentioning Jed was in the photo. Once I clicked to enlarge it I could see him.
Oh, and thanks for sharing the photo.

Another hurkle-durkle fan!
"Your move."

Thank ye all kindly. On balance, most of my posts are probably just numbers.

But what numbers!
The mother-in-law's move to the Twin Cities is this coming week.
So that will be a big deal.
I got a Facebook message that a good theeder friend that I haven't seen in over a decade will also be at the performance.
It will be very nice to see him.
DR Laura have you been tracking Hillary?
DR Laura have you been tracking Hillary?
Not really. My computer is so slow that the weather radar map is expired before it loads.
It has been very cloudy and cool today. It never even hit 100 today.
"They" are saying we should get the hurricane tomorrow evening.
I just wanted to post a picture of my vegetarian enchilada that I had:
They were really good.
Thanks, DR Jane. The DH is going down tomorrow to help her pack up, and he and one of his brothers will be bringing her up here by car on Tuesday. A moving company is hauling the furniture and boxes, of which there won't be too much. The main downsizing was accomplished 5 years ago.
In this one, Julie gets to say the F word quite a few times and also briefly appears topless.
Three-layer cake with cupcakes represents a peacock.
I'm thinking DR Laura should try this for her next church event.

Back from Staples - it now costs 93.00 to Xerox a 462 page document, double-sided, spiral bound. I remember when it was thirty bucks.
Was watching a noir called He Walked hy Night but the disc just died.
Hurricane vibes for California.
Sounds like a harrowing night of cues!
Did you get scared every audio cue was going to go awry after that one did?
Rodz, checking in, by the way. Hello G!
The illusion of flight was achieved with wind and mist (as we flew through clouds or past whitewater rapids), smells… it was pretty effective.
The area in front of our seats disappeared and it literally felt like you were flying over vast areas of Canada, from east to west until we “flew” back over the very building the theater was in. About 15 minutes total.
They make a big deal of buckling you in and stuff, but your seat isn’t flying around. It’s being acted in by forces simulating speed in time with the incredible visuals. Your feet are off the ground though. Anyway, it was neat.
Sorry I didn’t catch your millstone, G! Someone should be looking out for you. Who watches for the watcher?
Or maybe what you saw was this:
