What was your original self-imposed deadline, DR elmore3003? September 1? Two numbers to go on Sep 2 isn't so bad.
The alarm rang, I turned it off, and cuddled with Annabelle for another forty minutes.
“Cheeseburger in Paradise” is a fine philosophy for the likes of moi.
TOD: Haven’t been to Subway in many moons, but their meatball sub was my jam. Loved the carbonara chicken sub from Quizno’s but I don’t know if that corrupt chain even still exists.
Meanwhile, I raise an ice cream cone in DR Ron Pulliam's honor.

Jimmy Buffet RIP. I never dug as deep as the Parrotheads, but “Margaritaville “ is essentially a perfect pop song.
I remember my dad or older brother bringing home that 45 one Saturday and we just played it over and over. I had no idea what it was about, but it was infinitely listenable.

You say that like it's a bad thing. 8)
Quizno’s got exposed for being a bit of a racket. They sold franchises to people and then milked the franchisees for every penny.
A good article…

DR George, in quite a coincidence, we bought two boxes of mini popcorn bags from Costco the other day, and not having enough room in the pantry, I elected to store them in the garage until needed. Though they are up on a shelf, your story is making me rethink my strategy.

In honor of DR Ron's birthday Keith got Wordle in 2 :)
DR George,
Why did your mother leave food outside?

So will my mom.
DR George,
Why did your mother leave food outside?
Because it was a box of individual bags, and probably assumed that since it was under cover, it would be protected from the weather, not thinking about critters that can chew through plastic bags.

Congrats to Keith!
Thank goodness you were able to fix the problem.
OKLAHOMA! is on the schedule for next summer - and I realized that I didn't have a copy of the piano/vocal score for the show.
I looked around on EBAY and they were mostly $45-$80.....except for one lonely little one with a bent edge......the photos didn't really reveal much.....but at a $9.50 price, I took a chance.
Still only about $14 including shipping. It arrived today and will serve my purpose well. Lots of pencil markings and cuts marked in pencil. And stamped "Property of Rosemary Bailey."
I reinforced the spine with lovely gray duct tape....and it will do.
To skim is better than to scam.
DR John, with only one day in Cyprus (Limassol port) what would you suggest doing?
It will be very hot here through Monday night. Not Texas hot, but hot nonetheless.
Staff layoffs at Steppenwolf. A rough week for my sis, though she’s safe.
I had a blocked toilet since yesterday. I've plunged at least 100 times. So, I went to the Home Depot and bought a snake. I guess it worked as the toilet is fine now. I know I live in an apartment building, but there is no maintenance on call -ever. So, I took care of it. I was happy to, now I own a third plunger and a snake. Actually, one of the three is going in the garbage today.
And these are the days of our lives

Just enjoy being in a new place. What time of year again? The sculpture park is beautiful. Ask if it's a good time of year for any other gardens. I loved the plumbago.

I think this is the day the plants decided to die.
So many look horrible, dried out and sad.
I watered anyway. I hope it does some good.

Vibes for her and her co-workers and soon-to-be ex-co-workers.
How's that for hyphenation?
I have started a new series on Max: "The Last of Us"
And, wow! WOW1
BACK -- from JFK airport where I dropped off Nathan and Kristi for their flight to Tucson. They're taking a week-long vacation there, neither of them having been out west at all (except for a two-day visit years ago that didn't count). But they have a high school friend who they'll be staying with and exploring with, and it should be a great time.
I just got texted. In the "Rooftop" at the Jet Blue terminal, they had two appetizers and two drinks that totaled $82.00.
Time for me to rustle up some dinner.
It won't cost $82.00, I can tell you that.

I suppose she is lucky to not have had similiar experiences in the past.

I have plumbers blood in me.... but I have to say, while I love my place, the list of things that need improvement is getting longer.
I hope you can get them fixed.

I had to buy one of those. I've used it once, but it was on the dishwasher, not one of the toilets. Glad I've got in on hand just in case.

Well, she did have some birdseed in a plastic container and rats ate through that, so you'd think that she would've remembered that. ::)

I feel your pain, Matthew. I'm in a condo and I have to do all those kinds of repairs myself, too.

Fortunately, I have never needed a snake for any of my pipes...so far.

I'm happy your sister's job is still safe at Steppenwolf, DR Rodznski.
I think I'll have pizza for dinner.
Pepperoni is likely, although I also have a supreme in the freezer, as well.

But you own your condo, he pays rent and should be able to get someone else to do them ;)

Uber sent me a 50% off coupon. So, I went and checked which Subway they deliver from and it's the one next to K's Donuts and guess what. Prices are all cheaper - I got my ham and turkey wrap - 440 calories, and a veggie wrap - 350 calories. Ate one at around 12:30 and the other at 5:00. Cheaper than driving over there.
Next up was Arrival (2015), starring Amy Adams.
Has anyone ever watched the original The Avengers television series? Is it enjoyable?
