Well, you've read the notes, the notes labored, and now it is time for you to post until they laborious cows come home.

And the word of the day is: EXTOL!

~~~Vibes for Another Modern Major Miracle for BK!!~~~
Good morning, friends.
~~~ANOTHER MODERN MAJOR MIRACLE VIBES~~~ for the likes of BK!!!!!!!
-
Good morning, all!

I don't know where my mind was last night when I set the alarm, but I set it for 5:10, 5:20, and 5:40am. I kept turning it off, thinking WTF?, and going back to bed with A & T. When it rang at 6:00, I decide it was time to start moving. Beyond that, I slept well. Around 3:30 I needed a bathroom break, aqnd when I got back to bed, I couldn't get back to sleep because of next week's surgery concerns.
-
I have 16 bars of music to write to finish the Act Two Finale. I also have to call the office of my radiation doctor about Thursday's appointment, and Northwell Health aboutr next week's surgery.
-
And the AC crew arrives at some point to check my air conditioner.

Cuddling.

The kids start school today. My youngest starts Kindergarten.
The end of an era for me. I left my career in summer 2015 to be a stay at home dad, which we were lucky to be able to do. This will be my first time not having a little pal with me at some point during the day in 8 years.
-
I did freelance editorial work over the years for my old company and some other things I picked up. Now it’s time to return to the workforce full-time.
-
Good morning, all.

Here's a scare: my doctor called, There's something she did not like about my EKG resultsd. So, on Tuesday, a day before the surgery, I'm seeing Dr Egelman, a cardiologist. I may not have surgery on Wednesday.
-
I had a curiously rocky night of sleep, partly due to trying to get the AC temperature just right in our new heat wave, a bathroom visit or two, and a couple of weird dreams -- one of which has completely escaped me, but the last one was a mish-mash of a musical-gig-related conversation and a snow-covered Brooklyn landscape.

Major miracle vibes for MR 131313.

Don't worry about the access avoirdupois MR BK - according to his Georgia mugshot the ex-Prez only weighs 7 pounds more than I do, and he looks very trim at 215 lbs.

Back to feeling more myself. Two cups of coffee and a Jimmy Dean sausage, cheese and egg muffin helped immensely.

Good Morning! Yes, I'm alive. Had a weekend of hanging out with friends which was fantastic. I saw Tina - The Tine Turner Musical which was pretty intense but wonderfully perfromed, sung, etc. One of the best bio-jukebox musicals I've seen. And that's it. Back to work today.
-
From DR Vixmom:
I myself probably sticking out as one of the oddest faces there
:o
-
DR Vixmom now I wish you had taken a photo of the crowd at the bar.
-
From George:
Well, this is cool. Here's a short video about those troll statues on Seattle's KING5 TV:
Danish environmental artist creating and installing massive troll sculptures
I would like to see them.
-
DR Vixmom, I think it is wonderful you have special blankets & quilts to pass on the the baby.
-
From DR George:
Well, this is pretty cool...BK's reached a very unique posting millstone number! ;D
Good catch!

The photo of the plum cake is what I expected. Thanks for sharing it.

I was curious how high it would be.

The air conditioner men showed up around 11:15, and I'm getting a new air conditioner. I then finished writing No. 42, andhe major part of the ballet is finished. I have to write the curtain calls. So, I'll start writing the piano chart tonight.
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.

Postage problem fixed. This was a technical glitch on their end, but the helper, instead of just calling about it, kept trying to get the charge to go through - like twenty times, which caused them to block the card. I called, we got the card enabled, and she had to log out and log back in and all was well - and from now on if she gets that error message again, all she has to do is log out/log in.

About to send the book for final proofing. The designed copy.

The first episode of Jim Henson's The Muppet Show premiered on American television on this day in 1976.
-
The year Bryan was born.
-
We received back to school photos of Freyja.
-
All the kids are wearing backpacks.
-
Some of them are so big they reach the back of their knees :o
-
I don't suppose at her age there is too much in their backpacks, maybe a change of clothes and their snack for the day.
-
I used to eat a lot of tacos, however, I don't make my own anymore and it is rare I find a good vegetarian taco in a restaurant.
-
I do enjoy guacamole.
-
I don't enjoy spicey Mexican food.
-
Enchiladas with green sauce, especially if made with a blue corn tortilla, are a favorite.
-
I usually order rice and whole black beans.
-
Taquitos, also difficult to find vegetarian options, are another favorite.
-
El Cholo's in Los Angeles has enchiladas with blue corn tortillas.
-
Tacos were good.

PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
Good afternoon, all.
-
It was like a double Monday today.
-
Have you found a job, DR Rodzinski, or are you looking?
-
Either way, work vibes.
-
Munching away on a Mexican torta or sandwich stuffed with roast pork.
-
I prefer to make my own pesto, but in a pinch, Buitoni's is pretty good.
-
I love pretty much anything Mexican, but like DR Jane, not too spicy.
-
We have some pretty good local Mexican jernts, so I never have to avail myself of the chains.
-
This month is already flying by, like a gazelle doing splits with a sparkler in its mouth.
-
Had some elote en vaso. Aka corn in cup. Quite delicious.
-
I used to have really bad fall allergies. Then they abated for a long time. The last few days, though, have been a bit difficult. Not a return to the previous misery, but enough to be uncomfortable. I wonder if this is a particularly bad year.
-
It’s an odd street food with corn kernels in a cup filled with crema (a kind of sour cream) and mayo with chili powder. Sounds dreadful. Tastes great.
-

I'm sure. But it's not blueberry pie.

Good to know. I checked, they sell it at my local market.

I hope not. With the change of weather my allergies are bothering me.

Wordle 3, Phoodle 4.
Nice.

You'll find it in a refrigerated case.

What is your son saying about the first two days of school, DR Jane?
-
I always got so excited to buy my "back to school" supplies from the provided list.
-

Thanks. Normally I buy jars. It has been way too long since I have used pesto sauce that I don't remember my preferred brand.
-
What is your son saying about the first two days of school, DR Jane?
At first I was think of Freyja's father ;D We haven't spoken to our teacher son yet. With it all so new we figured he would have more to say this weekend. Thank you for asking.
-
I always got so excited to buy my "back to school" supplies from the provided list.
This list for my children was much longer than my list. I have been told it is even longer, and rather expensive these days.
-
I believe Craig's previous school provided much of what the students needed. I should ask about this school.
-
The poles for hanging clothes in our guest closet are only 2 feet long.
-
They pop up and out for easy removal.
-
Without clothes on them, they pop out very easily, usually only on one side.
-
This morning I reached up for a pillow on the shelf and accidentally knocked the entire rack up and out.
-
It then fell down and hit my forehead.
-
After bouncing twice more on my head it finally fell to the floor ;D
-
Thank goodness it didn't hit any toes :)
-
As you can imagine my forehead is a wee bit sore. Not bad though and it hasn't bruised.
-
Ouch! Sorry, DR Jane. Hope it doesn't develop into a bump.
-
Thank goodness it didn't hit any toes :)
Yes, indeed.
-
Ouch! Sorry, DR Jane. Hope it doesn't develop into a bump.
Because it is tender it is hard to tell if there is a super tiny bump. I will be surprised if it gets worse.
-
The pole is rather lightweight but fell from above. The extra bounces added insult to injury even though it was also funny.
-
'night
-
Good night, DR Jane.
-
I assume you used a cold compress to try to reduce swelling.
-
Swelling is not swell.
-
If a couple of swells were in a bar fight, they might swell.
-
And if were summer, they might be sweltering.
-
I think I've gone about at fer as I can go with that.
-
And yet, we're still on page five.
-
Paltry, really.
-
I did a few kitchen chores tonight.
-
I walked on the treadmill, which I didn't feel up to this morning.
-
The OBC recording of Mack & Mabel is exactly 45 minutes. Worked out perfectly.
-
I had to do my cool down in silence, however.
-
And then I came upstairs and tried to dry off.
-
There wasn't a dry - - - something or other - - - in the house.
-
One more.
-
SIX!
-
Ixnay on the six.
-
Seven is better, but still not great.
-
Does anyone still wear a hat?
-
Who wore it better?
-
Just making polite conversation.
-
Sometimes, he wondered if he was really the father.
-
I want buns of steel.
-
But I also want buns of cinnamon.
-
Sometimes, I wonder what happened to the people that asked me for directions.
-
OK, time to retire this monologue.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Lazy tonight.
-
Too tired for a movie.
-
DR JANE beware the closet.
-
Well rehearsal went surprisingly well tonight.....I used the REWIND Rehearsal method.
It really only works for plays - so it was perfect for this project.
Hopefully tomorrow night with Act Two Scenes One & Two will go as well.

I visited WFO today

My rehearsal consisted of singing "By the Light of the Silvery Moon" a couple of times (it's the finale number for the show), then I was done. :)

I wasn’t too tired to start a movie. Watched the first half hour of Asteroid City. Very Wes Anderson. Liking it.

She also created the Coneheads look on SNL.

Oh, no. :(
-
Good night, all.
-
Well, I bought the blood type test kit from Amazon and it arrived last week.
-
I just tested myself and according to this, I have A RhD Pos blood.
-
I don't know what this means, but at least I know what it is. :)
-
I think my mom said she has the type that makes her a universal donor, and my niece is a universal recipient.
-
Or that might be backwards.
-
I don't remember which had which type.
-
But I can find out the next time we're all together.
-
Anyway, the test kit comes with an adhesive plastic cover so that once the blood spots dry, you can cover the whole thing and keep it with you for medical purposes, like donating blood...which I've never actually done.
-
For "reasons." ::)
-
And now...
-
Gratuitous Post #200!!
-
:D
-
Well, this is pretty darned cool:
"The four little swans turned into four small frogs" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?si=psYERdLqFXKKXZNF&v=MDy_XrWfxHY&feature=youtu.be)
-
It's a Chinese production of Swan Lake, but I want to know what the rest of the ballet is like!
-
Is it all done with frogs instead of swans??
-
I do not care for page seven.
-
Notes will be late. In the midst of doing some book stuff and have to finish.
-
Here's another and longer clip of the ballet, but there's aren't any frogs.
-
Evidently, the ballet troupe is an acrobatic group:
Guangdong Acrobatic Troupe of China Swan Lake (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKf8h3anWlY)
-
Interestingly, if you sort the comments by date, this is the newest comment, from three days ago:
The lifts are impressive, and the ballerina has nice lines (though a bit over-extended to be classically beautiful). Moreover, the tricks aren’t really called for musically, and generally speaking, the musicianship of both the ballerina and the orchestra doesn’t have much nuance…they might as well be dancing to a metronome. Choreographically, it’s clever but it’s not really sensitive to the music. But as others have said, the acrobatics are excellent.
It is, of course, just one person's opinion.
-
PAGE EIGHT DANCE!!
-
Watching more of the second clip, it's definitely not just a regular ballet company.
-
It's very athletic, and quite impressive, though.
-
What the heck am I doing up now?
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
