Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Gross, and now it is time for you to post until the Gross cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RUBRICATE!
-
Now, if anyone would like to be a Venmo guinea pig, go to venmo.com. Had to raise the price of the book because I'm being charged more - it's still under the Amazon price and it is signed, so... anyway, book is $32 and shipping is $8. So, $40 all in. Once you're on Venmo it should be similar to PayPal - it'll say send money or pay someone or something like that - you fill in your info as you would on PayPal and then put in our Venmo address, which is whitesheik at aol dot com, obviously not spelled out like that but with @ and .com. There should be a place to leave a note so just say it's for Kritzer World and include your address.
-
I totally fell asleep. ::) But I just ordered the book and sent payment through Venmo. Let me know if it worked or not!
-
I just checked my bank account and it already shows as pending. :D
-
Venmo arrived safe and sound. So, anyone who'd like to do it that way, please do following the instructions above.
-
Hopefully, we'll have the order page up today, too, for PayPal.
-
Good morning, all!
-
BK, I loved seeing your grandparents; address on Clinton Street and marriage certificate. I've bee thinking about joining ancestry.com to verify family legends like being a descendant of Abraham Lincoln's mother's family.
-
I survived my birthday by devouring several gifts: Ann and Jen sent me a wonderful dinner from my new favorite Mexican restaurant El Mitote, and Kevin Duda sent metwo slices of birthday cake. Both gifts were quite delicious.
-
Today, Access-a-Ride will take me to my pharmacy where I will pick up a new diabetes prescription from my cardiologist, Dr. Egelman. The medication is Jardiance, which currently runs a commercial of a large young lady singing and dancing before she selects a yellow dress and turns into a huge lemon.
-
I will then go to Staples and scan that Charleston.
-
Is yellow in your color palette, DR elmore3003? Please don't turn into a lemon!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Is yellow in your color palette, DR elmore3003? Please don't turn into a lemon!
I think I'm safe.
-
I've seen many photos of my beloved Bob the Street Cat, who died in June 2020, but I have never seen this one before, and I love his smile
-
Ordered Kritzer World via Venmo.
-
The tables are empty. The dance floor's deserted.
-
I've had my first lesson in learnin' the blues.
-
Good morning
-
I am glad you had a good birthday Elmore
-
I don’t do Venmo, so I shall await the PayPal link
-
I am out today and tonight , visiting with friends who have gathered in Brooklyn
-
Still not sleeping well. Damn.

~~~SAFE & EASY TRAVEL VIBES~~~ today for DR Jane and DH Keith!!!!!!!
A foggy day in London town.
It had me up.
Have fun today with your friends, DR vixmom!
-
Interesting stuff in today's Notes. I've been meaning to join ancestry.com myself. All of the traditional German hymns were translated into English by a relative, and are still sung today - and I'd like to figure out exactly how we're related.
-
Glad to read of the modern major miracle happening.
-
Somewhere in your youth or childhood you must have done something good.
-
Good morning, all.
-
After a couple of muddled attempts, Venmo worked. At least I hope it did.
-
Glad to read of the modern major miracle happening.
Ditto.
I don’t do Venmo, so I shall await the PayPal link
Same here!
Have fun today with your friends, DR vixmom!
-
Good morning, all.
Welcome home, DR JohnG!
-
:)
-
I couldn’t remember if I had to go back to work today. I don’t. It’s tomorrow.
-
But I did try to log on and it led me to a 45-minute call with IT.
-
She seems to have straightened everything out but I had to change my password.
-
I changed my password two days before vacation. Surprised I remembered it.
-
Our passwords have to be 12 characters long and some unholy mix of letters, numbers and symbols.
-
Mine looks like I’m cursing.
-
I had a thought about DR Elmo shortly after waking up (a few minutes ago).
He could give a whole new meaning to "77 Sunset Strip"...if he put his mind to it.
-
Otherwise, happy Wednesday, all!
(Wait! Was I in Belgium yesterday??)
-
I slept extremely well.
I know I dreamed, but not a clue about what.
Am taking my last medication doses today.
Yay!
-
That's great, DR Ron Pulliam.
-
I'm convinced that my crop of current symptoms are seasonal allergies.
-
Boo!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Much to get done today, and at nearly 11:30 in the a.m. I've barely started.
-
The Ancestry finds are wonderful.
I do encourage people to join if you're at all interested in finding family information and occasionally unearthing a treasure like BK did. I've had that pleasure a number of times. It's a bit pricier than it used to be, but when renewal time comes around I look the other way. I don't want to not have it at my disposal.
You will also prove/disprove stuff about your family along the way, both trivial and "major". When my dad remarried back in 2001, we all thought the world of his second wife who was a wonderful companion to him until she died some ten years later. And it just happened that her own family had a long running "history" of having been related to John Ritter the actor, and likewise Tex Ritter the country singer. This was an occasional mention in conversation, and being curious, I asked a couple of times what the relationship actually was. The answers were always vague, and one day I sat down at Ancestry and did everything I could to link her family with anyone of the Ritter clan...to no avail.
Now maybe I missed something along the way, so for that reason and just in minding my own business, I never mentioned it. It was their family and their privilege to recount their own history, substantiated or not. Though seriously, how could you not know precisely what such a link was, if it truly existed? But families are like that. And again, maybe I didn't stumble onto the right thing that would make sense of it.
It's a great pursuit, though, and for someone like BK and certainly myself, Ancestry's gradual digitalization of many city directories can be a godsend.
-
Congrats to MR BK on the miracle!
-
I hope DR ELMORE's day is going well.
-
J.B. is home.
-
Welcome home, JB!
Dead boys can’t kiss.
The title of my next zombie novel.
-
JRand, great fog photo yesterday.
-
I was not successful in setting up a Venmo account.
-
DR John G., did you order extra pickles?
-
I hope DR ELMORE's day is going well.
Given the fact that Access-a-Ride's first friver was a complete apathetic moron and the second ride back never showed up, it's been a pretty good day.
-
Good Morning - I, too, am off to the Dr today to address my T2D and high blood pressure. Both are on both sides of my family, so I'm screwed, I do believe. However, I know how to deal with the question is, do I? Yes, I am to blame as much as genetics.
-
Ask BK day - Will there be anymore titles sold in the Amazon Kindle store. - specifically Kritzerland and Kritzertime? Yes, I own them in hardback editions, but I've been reading mostly on my Kindle these days. I'd love to read all the Krtizer. books again before the new one comes out.
-
DR John G., did you order extra pickles?
Nope. That looks like the right amount.
-
I just found out that a good friend of mine and a well-known actor/musician in our theatre community has passed away at the age of 45. I am stunned and without words.
-
That is horrible, DR Matthew. What a shock. Very sorry.
-
Wednesday afternoon greetings! We had a home visit from a moving company rep who went room by room with her iPad and will send us an estimate soon. Another company will be here tomorrow.
-
DR John G., did you order extra pickles?
Nope. That looks like the right amount.
Looks all right to me, as long as they don't overwhelm the onions.
I'm loving pickles more and more these days. For most of my life, they were an "okay" side thing, but I've really gotten more fond of things that are pickled than ever before - including, of course, pickles themselves. Not so much the common gherkin, which I find mostly boring, but the dills and half sours and other spice variations are a real pleasure.
-
Interesting stuff in today's Notes. I've been meaning to join ancestry.com myself. All of the traditional German hymns were translated into English by a relative, and are still sung today - and I'd like to figure out exactly how we're related.
I played her in a Methodist church production called “A Festival of Hymns,” by Hal Hopson.
-
I see “The Faculty” is being released on 4K. Did you ever do a special feature about the creation of the screenplay?
-
I just found out that a good friend of mine and a well-known actor/musician in our theatre community has passed away at the age of 45. I am stunned and without words.
Way too young. I'm so sorry.
-
Access-a-Ride finally arrived to pick me up, but I had taken a taxi home. The pickup time was 10:13, and the car arrived at 11:12, 59 minutes late.
-
DR Matthew - condolences on the loss of your friend.
-
Also, DR Matthew - ALL of BK's previous books are available for Kindle.
-
Good morning.
I have declined to give my DNA to a company that can sell my information.
My condolences for your loss. 45 is too young 😢
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.
-
Doors are closed
-
Matthew - they should all be on Kindle - but I noticed yesterday that there wasn't a Kindle thing for Kritzer Time - I'll check Kritzerland and Kritzer Time with the publisher and see what's what.
-
I enjoyed reading the notes today and about the family history.
-
Singdaw, I got both text and email that your order had gone through, but it didn't actually show up in my Venmo account, so I'm asking them why. So far, they've sent me some article about Visa+ payments taking up to thirty minutes to show up, but since it's been twelve HOURS I told them to figure it out.
-
That's odd - the $40 is not showing as a pending transaction in my bank account, either. Perhaps I'll have to wait and re-order via PayPal.
-
Re: the original Kritzerland trilogy - I have them all on my Kindle from years ago. But perhaps new orders aren't operational, for some reason.
-
Starting 9/25, you can start ordering free COVID test kits from the Feds again.
No, you sent the payment to KRITZERLAND rather than the address I listed here. I have two Venmo accounts - personal and business. I retrieved it from the business account. Anyone else using Venmo, please use the address I provided, the whitesheik address. All is well and well is all.
-
Also, DR Matthew - ALL of BK's previous books are available for Kindle.
I don't see Kritzer Time or Kritzer Land for Kindle
-
Yes, it would help if I had followed the directions. :(
-
I got your test 1.00 just now. It all works fine. :)
-
AND I did get your main payment, so don't send that again.
Yes, I'm checking on it.
Watching the rest of After Office Hours, which I started before vacation. Clark Gable is Constance Bennett’s boss at a newspaper. They look great in evening attire.
