Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both oddly boring and constipated, and now it is time for you to post until the oddly boring, constipated cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: EUPHORIA!
-
Good morning, all!
-
This is the second day after my flu shot and I've had no reaction, so I'm quite pleased. We'll see how Friday's Covid shot goes.
-
Last night, when Midsomer Murders ended at 9:30, I decided not to turn on the alarm and to sleep in. It was quite lovely. I slept until 7:00, an hour later than I usually do.
-
I finished "The Swamps of Home" yesterday, and I've moved on to my favorite song in Mattress, "Normandy." Joshie is busy until Thursday, so I'll go to City Center then and not tomorrow, as I had originally thought.
-
I cannot wait to get to "The Spanish Panic!"
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
A lousy night of sleep. Maybe 4 hours, tops.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep.
I think we're all dragging this morning. I know I am. We turned the heat on last night, knowing today would be cold in comparison with what we've been having, and I had it set at what I thought was a very low-moderate temperature, but it still felt too warm as the night went on. And my dreams were silly but restless-making. I even have a slight headache. But I didn't have a drop, officer!
-
And in these parts, we're dragging from utter weariness of the weekly deluge. Speaking of which, guess what our most trusted local weatherperson announced last night. Never mind, I'll tell you. There's a very good chance for a coastal storm to hit...
(get ready for it)
next Friday and Saturday.
-
I heard that weather news about your area as well DR CHAS SMITH.
-
I hope MR BK has a good time at the opening night.
-
I am going to the Annual Meeting of the Board to which the public itself is invited.....so we shall have comments I am sure.....usually not about the shows....
Afterwards we will have the October Bored Meeting, election of officers for the next season, and a wrap up of the season. I have some things to say, but I'll probably just let it go.....

I'm supposed to be flying into Philly Saturday morning.
Of course.

Did anyone win the Powerball last night?
-
The Powerball jackpot is growing to $1.55 billion, with a cash value of $679.8 million, after no winning ticket was sold for Saturday night's drawing.

Happy Sunday to one and all. The latest episode of the Broadway Radio Show is now up on the site for your listening pleasure. I am joined by award winning vocalist and recording artist Celia Berk to chat about the career and legacy of Kurt Weill in conjunction with a concert coming up on October 17th as part of the 34th New York Cabaret Convention entitled Speak Low: The Music Of Kurt Weill

No
-
Good morning.
-
I have family in Israel.
-
My cousin has posted some on Facebook but her husband is unusually quiet. I expect they are ok but have asked.
-
I have a childhood friend living in Israel.
-
She and her family are safe.
-
Today her Facebook posts are filled with photos of people who have been kidnapped or are missing.
-
It is heartbreaking.
-
Listening to John Wilson's Oklahoma! I really love it.
-
It is heartbreaking.
Yes, it is.
-
Vernon Duke III has landed in the midwest.
-
And no one is a LIAR.
-
Well, I can think of some politicians that are.

"Normandy" is one of my favorites, too!

Have fun with it! ;D

Not badly. Annabelle stayed curled up at my feet, Stella slept under my computer chair and Thatch slept next to me.
-
Nice. :)

Love Celia. Looking forward to hearing this.
-
Congratulations, Singdaw, on your accomplishment of accomplishments.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep.
-
Not sure how I'm feeling yet. I'll give it another hour but I may cancel the opening night.
-
I'm congested a bit, but that could be allergies - just took my pill. They were out of the twenty-four hour kind and the twelve-hour kind don't work as well for me.
-
Not sure how I'm feeling yet. I'll give it another hour but I may cancel the opening night.
Oh no!
-
Bruce, I hope you feel better super fast.
-
It does feel like an allergy attack - those kind of symptoms.
-
BK, maybe you should switch to ordering the allergy pills online.
-
THREE
-
Just watched Angela Lansbury in Blackwater Lightship, a Hallmark Hall of Fame affair.
-
LOL!
-
You can't order Claritin-D online - it's a behind-the-counter thing in the pharmacy department, thanks to idiots using one of the ingredients for drugs.
-
You need a friend to buy a bottle for you and get you ahead one bottle so you can replace them before you run out of your pills.
-
Yes, Jane, I've done that before. Once you buy whatever version, twelve or twenty-four hours, then you can't buy again for either two or three weeks. And people go and hoard the twenty-four hour ones.
-

Oh, no! Hopefully, you won't have to.

Geesh.

I know a few people whom I wish had discovered dynamite.
-
Don't confuse dynamite with marmite.
-
That would be an explosive situation.
-
Made some Greek potato salad. Quite wonderful if you like Kalamata olives and feta.

Why you need assistance getting ahead of this so that you always have one opened package and one or two unopened packages.
-
Loved Donald’s radio show. The last song, from Weill’s Huck Finn, is gorgeous.

DR Vixmom are you home from your short trip?
-
And now, for something completely different...

Good evening!

Wordle: 5/6

So, I'm off to my friend Kyle's house to finish last week's podcast and to record record another one.
-
I'm feeling no Covid or even cold symptoms, and my temperature is only 97.6°F, so Kyle feels comfortable having me over with a mask on.
-
I'll be back later. :)
-
Both meetings were slow.....but they are done.
Nothing theeder wise until December 3.....well the Trail Talk on November 5 - but who knows how that will turn out?

I was wondering the same thing, DR Jane. Is DR vixmom back already?
-
This may have been the last day of the year I could comfortably wear shorts and a blouse.
-
It was a lovely evening for a walk down to our little marina.
-
I was wondering the same thing, DR Jane. Is DR vixmom back already?
I expect/hope she actually made it there since we didn't have a report stating otherwise.
-
'night
-
Good night, friends.
-
Long day of dancing.
-
Back to The Wanderers.
-
Karen Allen is wonderful. What an underused actress.
-
She was great in Starman.
-
In Raiders of the Lost Ark.
-
In Shoot the Moon.
-
In Cruising
-
In Animal House.
-
What am I, imdb.com, all of a sudden?
-
Don’t answer.
-
But can we make it to five?
-
Don’t answer.
-
Just keep posting.
-
I remember the controversy over The Wanderers.
-
Seems so silly now.
-
The movie is sweet.
-
Well, when it’s not being violent.
-
Almost there.
-
One more.
-
Five!
-
Hello, 15 guests!
-
Happy Sunday, all.
Nothing new/newsworthy to report.
Had my weekly Zoom chat this afternoon, and Marshall Harvey, BK's editor, joined us from his hotel in Rome. He is staying at Hotel Fellini. He also took us into the 8 1/2 Bar where he got a glass of wine. He later showed us the Trevi Fountain...and the thousands of tourists making access to it for coin tossing relatively impossible.
-
I watched "Hello, Dolly!" on Disney+.
Love the film!!!
-
Good night, all.
-
CONTINUED STAY COVID FREE VIBES FOR DR GEORGE!
Thanks, Jane!
-
Well, the recording of the podcast at Kyle's house tonight went pretty well.
-
Kyle's friend Loucas who was supposed to come back and finish off last week's first episode forgot and never showed up. ::)
-
Kyle was finally able to get ahold of him and since the plan was to have Chris from Tacoma Little Theater (TCB had worked there and with Chris quite often before) join us in a Zoom call, Loucas will be able to finish his part via Zoom instead of in person.
-
We talked about stunt casting, and some local stuff, and other stuff, and we had a grand time.
-
Kyle had some bullet points to cover in case we needed them.
-
We did kind of ramble, but we had fun and enjoyed ourselves.
-
Hopefully, any potential audience will enjoy it, too.
-
We don't do any research or do deep dives into specific topics, but we just talked about what we know.
-
I don't think that I can (or should) post the lyrics to another song. ::)
-
At least, not yet.
-
;)
-
What the HELL is this page five malarkey?
-
We haven't had a day like this in over a year.
-
Seriously, what gives?
-
Certainly it wasn't a holiday.
-
And George arrived at midnight and has already left.
-
Someone will be held accountable.
-
Bet your bottom dollar.
-
Or your top dollar.
-
Dear Lord, this is pitiful.
-
Where the HELL did George get to?
-
Stuffing his face with free tacos?
-
Eating some Flicks?
-
Or a bear claw?
-
Down some damn rabbit hole.
-
Well, page six at least.
-
At least it's not page five.
-
Page five is ridic.
-
You heard me.
-
Ridic.
-
A joke.
-
Not a funny joke.
-
And George is STILL errant and truant.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
I've done my part.
-
I've played my part.
-
My part has happened.
-
There can be no doubt.
