Well, you've read the notes, the notes were kicked in the ASS, and now it is time for you to post until the kicked in the ASS cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: VORACITY!
-
~~Vibes for Another Modern Major Miracle and Pronto for BK!!~~~
-
Sleep time is done.
Wednesday chores are nigh.
I drive to Augusta GA this morning for my annual cardiology appointment.
I have things to share with the doctor, so my future visits may become quarterly for a while.
-
{{{hugs}}} for DR Ron Pulliam!!!!!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Nothing to repor.
-
Except that I am happy to have met the acquaintance of famous persons DR George and DR Jrand73.
-
Congratulations on having the Powerball in the bag, DR Rodzinski.
-
And on having a working oven and a vaxxed family.
-
Not necessarily in that order.
-
A working oven is not a small consideration.
-
I slept very well.
Had dreams that, save one, now elude me.
That one was rather odd. I was walking down a narrow path, surrounded on all sides by rough terrain and trash. I was headed for a seashore. Once there, i discovered that for as far as I could see on either side of me, the shoreline was heaped with trash. People were at the shoreline at various points having a good time. Several breaks in the trash gave them access to the water which, for the most part, seemed pristine.
But all that trash! I know what triggered that dream. I read an article about how scientists have attempted to "control" the massive trash island in the Pacific...corralling it, as it were, in an attempt to keep it all together rather than breaking apart. It's very depressing.
-
It's now coffee time.
Have a great day. May your appetites for life be voracious, and may that voracity be your eternal joy!
-
Good morning, all!
-
Annabelle is most clingy this morning. Thatch avoided my bed last night. Stella slept at the bottom of the bed, My world is out of joint.
-
I lost time I could have used on "Normandy" with that Charleston discussion yesterday. I would like to finish it today.
-
Good news about your oven, DR Rodzinski. That was a fortunate meeting.
-
DR John G, how are you feeling today?
-
I can attest to the veracity of DR Ron Pulliam's voracity.
-
~~~CONTINUED MODERN MAJOR MIRACLE VIBES~~~ for the likes of BK!!!!!!!
-
I need to call Access-a-Ride (no! no!) for rides tomorrow and Friday. I've been doinf so poorly with them recently, I'd rather not
-
DR George, check your email!!
-
I've beren feeling really poorly the past couple of weeks, and I think it's the Jardiance my cardiologist prescribed: frequent urination, stomach and intestinal issues, fatigue, I'm going back to the glipizide
-
I hear Normandy is fine and fair.
-
But what do I know?
-
Good morning, all.
-
Not feeling great. But I think the fever has broken.
-
Let’s move on
-
One more.
-
Two!
-
What is not understood about why Nick Arnstein and Fanny Brice split up?
Not clear to whom? He was overshadowed by his wife and it affected his ability to win at poker. She was making more money and he decided to do something shady to earn money.
No mystery there at all.
Why would Columbia give Streisand rights to alter the film's ending? As it was her first film, what concessions could they have made?
-
May health things continue on a positive trend for you, DR John G.
-
And for you, DR Ron Pulliam.
-
:)
-
Good news about your oven, DR Rodzinski. That was a fortunate meeting.
It’s true. The only way to get tradesmen to come to your house here is basically to find them and throw yourself in front of their truck and refuse to move until they agree to come by.
-
Health vibes for John G.
-
World back in joint vibes for Elmore.
-
Compassionate vibes for Singdaw.
-
Thank you, all. I tried to work and failed. Am back in bed.
-
Access-a-Ride calls made, prescriptions requested, and I am off to Normandy.
-
Happy travels, Larry.
-
Major miracle vibes for MR BK.
-
I remember at the time of the original release of FUNNY GIRL, William Wyler said that Barbra Streisand really should be forgiven because after all - it was the first film she ever directed.
-
I did not have a good night......tested this morning....just to be safe...Negative.
Just feel a bit off.....
-
Yes I had forgotten the Special Thanks credit as well.....it's nice to know perfect strangers will be reading my name and thinking:
"Who the hell is that?"
And I, you! :-*
I did and I replied! ;D
That's some good news, at least.
-
DR John, wishing you good vibes on your upcomming tests.
-
John, my heart often beats abnormally fast and has done so for years. All the test say I am ok. I forgot what the technical term is for it.
-
My heart began racing due to an allergy medication that has since been pulled due to causing this problem.
-
I spoke to Joshie; tomorrow's date is canceled.
-
John, I hope your fever was the cause of the problem and there won't be a recurrence.
-
DR Singdaw I am glad the shivah service was lovely.
-
From DR Singdaw:
The rabbi and the cantor were a bit harried, having just arrived from a large event in support of Israel across town.
:(
-
It was very nice of the friend to provide the family with dinner before the service.
-
From George:
That's weird...and too bad. They should've made the option more noticeable.
"more" noticeable, it wasn't on the link they directed me to. I found the second link after googling when to expect a response, something else that I would have appreciated once I submitted the form.
-
From John:
Helen Shaver has directed two episodes of Station Eleven so far. Haven’t heard or seen that name in years.
Thanks for mentioning this.
-
We found the second episode of Station Eleven to be a bit strange.
-
From George:
But I totally did forget about the Special Thanks! :D
Nice.
-
From Rodzinski:
And I was sent to the store to buy Powerball tix. When I got to the parking lot, I saw the guy who I’ve been after to fix our oven. I convinced him to come over and now the oven is good. Serendipity like that means the Lotto win is in the bag for us.
Excellent.
-
George, nice Wordle yesterday.
-
Sleep time is done.
Wednesday chores are nigh.
I drive to Augusta GA this morning for my annual cardiology appointment.
I have things to share with the doctor, so my future visits may become quarterly for a while.
I hope your visit went well and you are satisfied with the answers from your doctor.
;D
-
Without problems, we currently have a tradesman at our home.
-
The HOA required that we add a special shut off something in case of water leakage.
-
We are fine with the people above us having this, might have saved us such a mess when they flooded our place. We just don't feel we need it, and we always shut the water off when we leave town.
-
They also required that we change out our washing machine hose for a metal one.
-
We are fine with doing that since it was about time we changed the hose anyway.
-
The new hose is on the washing machine but I can't test it yet until the water is turned back on.
-
Hopefully if there is a leak we will discover it before the guy leaves.
-
We have used this guy before and he is good so I am not expecting a leak.
-
Thank you, all. I tried to work and failed. Am back in bed.
Feel better. Did you let your doctor know your symptoms since you didn't have them at the office?
-
I did not have a good night......tested this morning....just to be safe...Negative.
Just feel a bit off.....
Glad your negative.
The other night we watched the opening of her Twighlight Zone episode.
-
Alexa just told me that an author I follow, Bruce Kimmel, has a new book out called Kritzer World.
That was nice of her.
-
Slept a little more. Still feeling meh.
Vibes you are completey better by tomorrow morning.
Feel better vibes for DR Jrand.
Oops, I missed doing a page four dance.
Watching a little Station Eleven. Up to episode eight. The episodes keep getting longer.
:o
-
Hello
-
I keep sneezing
-
Of course, since Vuxdads car is in the collision repair shop he is now required to go into the ofgice
-
So I have to drive him to the station before I go to work
-
Hence my morning g absences
-
Completely messing up my morning routine
-
I haven't had my coffee
Insurance should cover a rental car.
Fun.
-
Good afternoon, all!
-
Been busy all morning preparing my Mac for its GENIUS visit tomorrow, backing it up, etc., and dealing with the cable guy who, thus far, has determined our problem to be outside the house, and is waiting for a line crew to show up as we speak. It’s that kind of a day.
-
Groan.
-
We are not happy we had to add this contraption that Keith fears will mess up our water softner cycle.
-
George, nice Wordle yesterday.
Thanks, Jane.
If one has that as part of their insurance policy. ::)
-
Not everyone does.
-
Let’s move on.
-
One more.
-
Five!
-
I am very tired. I just had dinner, and I'm ready to clean my dishes and the cats' and go to bed.
-
Maybe it's the change in the weather.
-
DONE. and BACK.
Cable's fixed and working fine. It took a 3-hour visit and the assistance of a line crew, but they fixed the cables out on the poles and we're back in business. Also got a new cable box for the Music Room because the one in there had stopped working not long after it was first installed. Go figure.
-
;D Yup. I suspect they don't want to encourge people to back out due to their age.
-
Not everyone does.
True, but it might be part of the insurance for the person who hit him.
-
DR RON PULLIAM very nice photo from The Five Pennies!
-
About one o'clock I got very sick.....and had to lie down.
Feeling much better now.
Looking forward to tonight's episode of The Amazing Race.
-
Such beautiful weather.....67 degrees.....I sat on the front porch and felt much better.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
What do you think is the best film adaptation of a classic book?
-
I am glad you are feeling better.
-
It is quiet time here.
-
While I am not watching, I am following the Phillies game and hoping they win tonight.
-
Last episode. Ready for it to end. But episode 9 was pretty good.
-
Glad you are doing better, DR Jrand73.
-
Hope the same for you, DR John G.
-
I am feeling run down and on the verge of becoming sick. I hope not, as we are traveling on Sunday.
-
I am feeling run down and on the verge of becoming sick. I hope not, as we are traveling on Sunday.
Vibes for you.
-
Last episode is excellent. I probably wouldn’t recommend binge-watching this.
Something to look forward to, if we make it that far.
Watching the supplements on Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet. This was a favorite film of Tom’s as I recall.
-
I’ll watch the movie later, not tonight.
-
Pretty much.
-
I miss TCB.
-
Pretty much.
Pie-orities in place.
-
I miss TCB.
Yes.
-
DR vixmom isn't here.
-
She'll probably be busy counting her billions.
-
As she should.
-
Good night, friends.
-
DR RON PULLIAM very nice photo from The Five Pennies!
Thanks, DR JACK RANDALL EARLES! I saw it on FB last week and saved it for this occasion.
-
She'll probably be busy counting her billions.
Your mouth to God’s ear.
-
Starting a book of Japanese ghost stories by Lafcadio Hearn, an Irish writer who relocated to Japan. The introduction is fascinating. I hope the stories are too.
-
Good night, all.
-
Not everyone does.
True, but it might be part of the insurance for the person who hit him.
The problem is you need a parking permit to park at the train station and we only have one for Vixdad’s car. It’s affixed to the window and recites the plate # so it cannot be switched to another car.
-
DR vixmom isn't here.
Oh no! Where can she be?! We’d better look for her!
-
I miss TCB.
So do I
-
She'll probably be busy counting her billions.
Your mouth to God’s ear.
Ooh! Did I win?
-
She'll probably be busy counting her billions.
Your mouth to God’s ear.
Amen
-
Pretty much.
Yes.
So do I.
-
Home from a fun rehearsal.
-
Jrand, hands down - Rosemary's Baby. Perfect book, perfect film adaptation.
-
We can't really be on page six, can we?
-
Well we know how you despise the page whose number shall not be mentioned
-
Besides, I have to wake up in 5 hours
-
And if I’m to wake I up I must first sleep
-
So nighty night!
-
The hatred of page 7 perhaps prolongs page 6, at times.
-
And here we 7.
-
I was just listening to the new Off-Broadway revisal cast recording to The Unsinkable Molly Brown (https://www.broadwayrecords.com/collections/cast-recordings/products/the-unsinkable-molly-brown-the-new-off-broadway-cast-recording-mp3), starring Beth Malone.
-
The entire recording (or so it seems) can be streamed on Broadway Records' website!
-
It also looks like other cast recordings can be streamed from their website, also.
-
Just go to the page of the respective recording to see if there's an imbedded Spotify tracklist.
-
Pretty cool.
-
So, since today (Wednesday, October 11) was National Coming Out Day, here's "Everyone is Gay (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VG1bj4Lj1Q)" from A Great Big World (http://everyoneisgay.com/).
-
If you're gay, then you're gay
-
Don't pretend that you're straight
-
You can be who you are any day of the week
-
You are unlike the others
-
So strong and unique
-
We're all with you
-
If you're straight, well, that's great
-
You can help procreate
-
And make gay little babies
-
For the whole human race
-
Make a world we can live in
-
Where the one who you love's not an issue
-
'Cause we're all somewhere in the middle
-
Gratuitous Post #200!!
-
We're all just looking for love to change the world
-
What if the world stops spinning tomorrow?
-
We can't keep running away from who we are
-
If you're gay, then you're gay
-
If you're straight, well, that's great!
-
If you fall in between that's the best way to be
-
You've got so many options
-
Every fish in the sea wants to kiss you
-
(Muah! Aww!)
-
PAGE EIGHT DANCE!!
-
'Cause we're all somewhere in the middle
-
We're all just looking for love to change the world
-
What if the world stops spinning tomorrow?
-
We can't keep running away from who we are
-
And we're all here in it together
-
We're one step closer to breaking down the walls
-
Everyone is gay
-
Hooray! (Hooray)
-
:D
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
