Feel better soon, Elmore.
Feel better soon, Elmore.
Thanks! I hope so.
I clearly did not die last night, but I did sleep for about thirteen hours, and I only got up around 7:45 because I was feeling guilty about the babies getting their breakfast. I don't feel bad, only sore from the violence of the sickness. I've canceled my lunch with my friend Eamonn, and I am staying close to home today.
Good morning from Sunny Kissimmee
JB chewed up my remote (I am not amused), so I couldn’t get subtitles on Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. So, I’m watching A Bronx Tale.
Weren't we discussing the Trevi fountain not too long ago?
:)

Happily awaiting the arrival of the kids!
Yes sorting it out vibes for DR JANE.
Just completed collecting my ancestry.com DNA sample. It took many, many minutes of spitting on a sponge to collect enough for the sample.

Was it always that quiet and deserted?
Our family has been going to our modest house there since 1972.
When my mother finally decides to sell it, it will be a tear-down. The realtor says that anything that sells on the island that is over 10 years old is automatically torn down. ???
That’s sad and, in certain situations, just disgusting.
That is a daunting project, DR Ginny.
~~~COPING VIBES~~~ through this process.
Someone had this in their garden landscaping: a wrought iron doggie, stuffed with pink sponges.
Around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, I became violently ill. By 5:30 I was convinced I was dying and that my body was eliminating all waste before I croaked. Things subsided around 6:00 and by 6:30 I was in bed, ready to meet whatever deity showed up to take me away. Annabelle stayed with me all night, Stella showed up later, and Thatch checked in on me around 4:30.
Joshie is currently tied up in band rehearsals for Spamalot, so we are not meeting tomorrow, I have the week off. I think I may spend the time composing and revising a score I wrote fifty years ago.
Glad that DR singdaw is home and DR VIXMOM has reached her destination.
Everyone wants a McMansion that maximizes square footage on each lot.
At this time of year, yes. During the summer, not so much. I much prefer the "off" season.
An original Larry Moore Score?? That would be awesome! :D
Today I’m seeing a presentation of the silent film Steamboat Bill, Jr., of which I know nothing, at the Bedford Playhouse. It will be accompanied on piano by Ben Model, who I also don’t know but he’s a notable silent film organist/pianist and I will very much enjoy it all.
Jane, have I seen what?
I don't know how many cookies it takes to be happy.
But so far, it is not five.
I'm on the repaired MacBook Pro, and it's a beauty. On this type of battery replacement, you get what they call a "top case" replacement which includes the trackpad and keyboard...so the entire top of the thing is basically brand new. I'm thrilled with that part, as there's nothing like having a brand new clean and perfectly functioning keyboard.
I had them reset me to an older operating system, so things look a little different again as I begin to set this thing up. I've replaced some of my folders and files, and I'll finish that through the day tomorrow. There are still one or two configuration things I've got to resolve as well, but I'm basically up and running again.
Jane, I haven't seen the monstrosity. If you email me the address on Forrester - I can Google maps it and see it.
Back from a rehearsal - I made it basically a music rehearsal, and when we could finally get on the stage we ran what we did last night many times (the title song) and I think it's really fun.
Hello. We had a rainbow in front of the house the other day. Double rainbow, if you look closely.
Whoever owns my childhood home found a way to blur the house on Google maps so I can’t ever see how it looks these days.
Jane - I can't remember exactly, but I "think" Dolores graduated with me - but she may have been a half semester behind me.
I didn't know that was possible.
I had the best day. Vixter and Vixhubby came over at 1030 and we all just gossiped and caught up and I showed them her baby stuff we brought, along with the new baby stuff I bought.
