Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fishy, and now it is time for you to post until the fishy cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: REGALE!
-
I was just about to post this last night:
And speaking of "Suddenly Seymore," here are Ellen Green and Lee Wilkof performing the song on the 1983 MDA Labor Day Telethon:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4tddRw6JVU (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4tddRw6JVU)
:)
-
Topic of the Day: umm...McDonald's Filet-O-Fish and Fish & Chips. ::) There are a couple of local joints that have pretty good fish sandwiches, but other that that, I don't care for fish dishes.
-
~~~Continuing Vibes for a Modern Major Miracle for BK!!~~~
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Not one "What is it, fish?" in the entire fishy notes? That just seems wrong.
-
Today it is back to work for the likes of me.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I'm up early to deal with all of the household chores before Access-a-Ride shows up. I slept rather well, and Thatch has returned to cuddle next to me when it's chilly. Annabelle has returned to her Alpine chalet in the bookcases.
-
DR Rodzinski, even if you decline the job, it's great to still be in the race.
-
Hope DR DR Iris is doing OK.
-
~~~TRAVEL VIBES~~~ for DR elmore3003 this morning.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Bad night of sleep.
-
~~~TRAVEL VIBES~~~ for DR elmore3003 this morning.
Ditto
-
Miracle vibes for BK.
-
And vibes for the rest of us.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Had an okay sleep, and trust me, "okay" is most welcome. These past two nights, Mikey (the cat) suddenly discovered he could sleep next to me on the left side as opposed to the right which has been his habit all of these years, and that's actually a little more comfortable and convenient for me. I'll encourage him in that direction from now on.
~~~CONTINUED MODERN MAJOR MIRACLE VIBES~~~ for the likes of BK!!!!!
-
Tuesday.
I am having lunch with my cousin Carol unless the man calls her to come and work on her windows.....which he said he would do "...one day next week....." last week.
-
Modern Major Miracle vibes for MR BK.
-
Happy Tuesday, everyone. I hope it's happy for all.
-
TOD:
The very best fish I ever had was Blue Dolphin (which is a fish and not the mammal). It was extraordinary, actually, but it's hard to come by.
i love Red Snapper, flounder, trout, catfish and swordfish.
Shrimp is wonderful fried or as a cocktail with sauce. I love lobster, as well, but don't crave it as some do. Ditto crab.
I do not care for hard shell fish - oysters, mussels, clams I can eat the occasional "fried" version of one of them on a seafood platter, but I am always mindful of when I am chewing on one. I swallow hard and get something I like to chew upon afterward.
And I love hush puppies.
-
Notes fished. Caught.
-
DR Rodzinski, even if you decline the job, it's great to still be in the race.
It’s true!
-
Lake perch in the Midwest. That was the best.
-
DR Jane, did you say that you take 1000mg of Glycine 3 times per day?
-
Good Morning - It's Tuesday, not sure where Monday went. We closed Pippin thank goodness and most of us went on to play Something Rotten at another high school. I'm playing Keys 2, where last time I played Keys 3 - so last nights rehearsal was a lot of fun. It's such a great score. Everything else is moving along, the DD"s are lovely and have been behaving well. They love to listen to Chopin when I'm not home, I really do think they connect with piano music. They do love when I just sit down at the keyboard and play. They are good boys. Besides the show, nothing exciting is happening.
-
I’m hungry.
-
Two!
-
Back from the local dump (unfortunately, not a municipal one but a commercial one - we're weird here) where I relieved myself of:
1) a falling apart recliner
2) fifteen dollars
Yes, you guessed right. We have to pay to unload certain items down there. They nickel and dime you to death. We actually have a lot to clean out here, and we're going to rent a dumpster for a week sometime soon. Then everything will go in there for one lump sum.
But it's a racket, man. Trash. Think: THE SOPRANOS. Right? Am I right?
-
TOD Redux:
How could I leave out salmon? I love a baked salmon with a wonderful sauce of lemon, white wine and capers. YUM!
-
I love me some fish. All of the above.
-
Salt-baked whole fish, Spanish style, is a favorite. It’s easy, too.
-
In Lisbon, friends and I stumbled on a place called Nunes that served us a massive platter heaped with several sizes of shrimp, clams, whelks, a crab salad and more. It remains a favorite meal.
-
Anchovies, sardines, scallops, skate, sole, salmon, I love them all.
-
I remember an outstanding bouillabaisse at Mama’s Fish House on Maui that had shrimp -and a host of fish as fresh and delicious as anything I have ever eaten.
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine and a half hours of sleep - weird dreams.
-
A modern major miracle has happened, so that's a relief.
-
But more drama with our show. I've been mostly mum about what's going on, but mum's about to fly out the window.
-

Huzzah!

But more drama with our show.
Boo!
-
DR Laura, congrats on walking over nine miles yesterday.
-
Good afternoon!

From DR Vixmom:
So apparently I can do a really good high soprano scream when I unexpectedly nearly trod barefoot on a snake in the living room
:))
-
Snakes do not belong inside of living rooms.
-
From Vixmom:
Vixdad tried to catch it but it went into a hole in the wall so now we must burn down the complex
;D
-
I am glad you had duct tape for the hole.
-
DR Vixmom did you sleep last night?
-
Hope DR DR Iris is doing OK.
I think of her often and also hope she is ok.
-

Awww.
-
I still miss having a cat curled up next to me.
-
DR Jane, did you say that you take 1000mg of Glycine 3 times per day?
Three pills a day that total 1,000mg.
-
Glycine doesn't help if I am in pain.
-
I should have said exceptional pain. I always hurt ;D
-
Wordle: 3/6
Nice.
-
I am happy to hear of the miracle for MR BK.
-
A modern major miracle has happened, so that's a relief.
Yay.

-
I am happy to hear that DR JOHN G will soon join several of us in the ranks of the retired!
You will find much more to do and your time will be even more filled up with things you enjoy doing.
-
DR LAURA walked nine miles!
I would not do so without a strong incentive at the end - which I then might not be able to avail myself of.
-
It is 77 degrees here....so I shall sit on the porch in the rocker in a bit and watch the cars drive by.
-
TOD:
Shrimp & lobster.
My palate is not educated - fish speaking - but I also enjoy the Long John Silver's fish platters......and the Gorton's frozen fish.....both of which contain assorted fish bits and parts, I am sure.
-
My favorite fast food fish will always be the Frisch's Big Boy Fish Filet....McDonald's and others leave me cold so to speak.....although I wouldn't turn one down if offered.
-
It is 77 degrees here....so I shall sit on the porch in the rocker in a bit and watch the cars drive by.
I wish it was warm here. My allergies do not like the damp weather.
-
Elvis and Priscilla are squawking and calling as if they've seen a snake.
But I do not think that is the case.
-
DR JOHN G perhaps JB was trying to tune into Animal Planet or find The Penguin on BATMAN.

Hello, everyone.
-
I had to return to the dentist today. One of the temporary crowns was hurting me, I couldn’t sleep, and it was aggravating my neck injuries. It’s better now. I suggested we not do so much at once in the future. It really wiped me out. He agreed. I was surprised he didn’t charge me.
-
The bakery was open and I bought a couple mini pies.
-
I managed to do some laundry — my go-to when I haven’t gotten much sleep and am sort of worthless brain wise.
-
You, Mrs. Lovett, you.
-
Oh, I read that as meat pies! LOL.

Yikes! :o Hope the rest of it goes much better!
-
But it's great that he didn't charge you!
-
Now what is this about John G retiring? A sudden decision? Eligible for Medicare? A lottery win?
Congrats!

You are the love I love the best.
