What is the mouthwash brand, BK?
We are being blessed with a real Indian Summer for the first time in some years, at least by my definition.

That looks like what I aspired to as a child. I never made it though…
Now I realize the problem, my swing set had chains… I needed solid rods
Oh, no...Richard Roundtree, ‘Shaft’ Star, Dies After Pancreatic Cancer Battle (https://www.thedailybeast.com/richard-roundtree-shaft-star-dies-at-81-after-pancreatic-cancer-battle). :(
Roundtree’s swaggering private eye saw him hailed as one of cinema’s first Black action heroes and helped usher in the 1970s’ Blaxploitation era.
Meanwhile, I tried taking some Glycine last night, and I did sleep better. Coincidence? I think not.
:)
This has been a very leisurely vacation. Doing nothing in particular and visiting with the kids after they’re done with work
We are expecting snow here this weekend.
Thanks for the Loudon link, DR George!

And if you hadn't already looked, Robbie Rozelle, who posted it on YouTube, also posted four, count 'em, FOUR of the six Sondheim shows from the 2002 Kennedy Center Celebration!

Wow
DR RODZINSKI was asking about my sister's AI gig.
Here is the link to the company where you can read all about it and apply.... Might be a nice side gig to make a bit of $$$.

DR Laura, when I took my break to lie down and watch The Young and the Restless, Thatch crawled onto my lap and proceeded to nap for an hour. You can see my feet at the end of hte bed. Your prediction of 2018 came true.
One thing I hadn't yet remembered to do when re-setting up a computer is disabling autocorrect, and it was driving me nuts. So I think I've got it turned off now. I've unchecked the three things it so badly wanted to do for me: correct spelling (I was getting wholly different words), capitalize words automatically, and and a period after any double-space. No thank YOU, sir!

DR VIXMOM from my sister's description - and now another sister is also doing it.....
You post questions to AI/Chat GPT devices and then grade them on how "human" or "real" the responses are......
Leonard mostly ignores me. He will decide when to love me, and then he is insistent that I put everything away so he can sit on my lap. He walked across my lap, steps up to the arm of the sofa, repeat a couple of times, before he will settle down and sit. And then suddenly he will just get up and walk away and ignore me again.
I asked my DH if there was a new Diamondback baseball player who just appeared out of nowhere. Because our mediocre team is going to the World Series. Someone must have sold his soul to the devil.
Loving the Thatch photos.

On This Day in 1955, the first domestic microwave ovens went on sale to the public.

Here in the Washington DC area we're expecting a temperature of 83 on Saturday. Crazy late October weather!
The car is in the shop for the hail damage and should be done sometime next week. The cost estimate has blossomed to $10,000. Fortunately, all covered by insurance after the deductible.
DR JANE I doubt I will dabble.....I like days of not having to DO anything.....because summers are so busy.
A bit of extra $$$ would be fun.....but....so is getting up when I want to.....
Loving the Thatch photos.
DITTO!!

I didn't know anyone back then who had a microwave oven.

I just read that they think annual flu shots may protect against the risk of Alzheimer's and related dementias.
Of course, "they" could be wrong.

Not sure how but I like that thought.

The earliest I ever saw a microwave oven in someone else's house was when I was a senior in high school ('83-'84 school year). I don't remember when my parents got one.

So do I! It has reared its ugly head in my family.
I'm going to watch a bootleg of the Encores! The New Yorkers tonight. It was either that or Bright Star.

I first saw a microwave in the early 1970s. A coworker of Dad’s got one and she was anxious to show it off. She made hamburgers. They tasted raw to us.
Heating pizza in the microwave doesn't work very well.
I had read that there is now, or very soon will be, a shortage of the RSV vaccine.
But my mother and her sister were able to schedule appointments for tomorrow morning at a local pharmacy.
DR vixmom: at least they're not snakes.
But I do hope that the duct tape has been reinforced.

No.
Not I.

To me a microwave is basically for heating food quickly.

I believe that DR Jeanne posted that it was called Closys.

Would anyone travel to Jordan or Egypt right now?
