Well, you've read the notes, the notes were on the cusp, and now it is time for you to post until the on the cusp cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AUTEUR!
-
A Very Happy Birthday to DR Michael!! :D
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to dear DR Michael!!!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
~~~CONTINUED MULTIPLE MODERN MAJOR MIRACLE VIBES~~~ for the likes of BK!!!!!!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I had a pretty good night of sleep. The cats behaved, Annabelle stayed with me all night. Thatch likes to come up and cuddle when the apartment gets really chilly, and Stella at the moment prefers to sleep next to the bed in a plastic tub.
-
Last night we watched Joan Hickson as Miss Marple in The Mirror Cracked. I knew the plot from the Angela Lansbury film version, which I enjoyed, but I really enjoyed the Hickson take with its wonderful cast - a lot of recurring characters - and humor.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Wednesday! Hump day!
And I’ve got lots of humping to do.
Wait. Is that dirty? It sounds dirty. I am posting so ris-kaye this morning! Just pay no mind.
-
I need to, like, learn to play the Drowsy Keyboard 1 book for the reading tomorrow.
And it looks like I have some other reading to do! :)
-
Tomorrow, my final (for a while, at least?) eye checkup, followed by the rehearsal.
-
I have to pay my property taxes, too, which necessitates a trip to the bank. Damn them. Damn them all to HELL.
-
Thank you everyone so far for the wonderful wishes
-
Good morning, all.
-
Happy birthday, Michael!
-
Weird dreams. In one I kept thinking my feet were cold, but when I woke, my feet were fine.
-
Thank you everyone so far for the wonderful wishes
Good news last night from DR singdaw
Modern Major Miracle vibes for MR BK.
There's a husband killer loose in Oregon and she's armed and dangerous - so look out over there!
-
Happy Birthday to Michael!
-
Notes observed. Enveloped.
-
Wednesday morning greetings! We about to go to Cafe 210 here on campus for brunch and then to Richard’s eye appointment.
-
Happiest of birthdays to DR Michael!
-
Thank you to DRs Vixmom and Rodzinski for last night’s congratulations!
Now that the deal is done, I can tell you about the buyers of our house. They’re young professionals - he’s an architect, she teaches nursing at Miami University. They have a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son.
If I’d gone to central casting for the perfect buyers, this would have been my selection.
-
DR ChasSmith, thanks for your email report.
-
Happy Birthday, enjoy your day.
Guess I had better find out where in Oregon, not that I am likely to see her unless she is hiding along our walking path.
Lovely. It is comforting to know that nice people purchased the home you spent most of your life living in.
-
DR Singdaw what is a a prescription prep or it it a particular prescription? I thought prescription preps were typical.
-
Singdaw I hope your dental appointment went well.
-
From DR Singdaw:
In other news, my mother had her post-surgery check in. They are very pleased with her progress, and within a week she'll be cleared for driving again.
Excellent news!
DR Vixmom a Biscoff Bomb sounds very good.
Can't believe I missed Michael - will add to the notes now - I remember looking at the birthdays and I didn't see any names. Adding right now.
I'm up, I'm up - a bit over eight hours of sleep.
Birthday added to the notes.
It looks delicious even though I am not usually a fan of puff pastry. I would definately try that, and I love Biscoff's.
My iron supplement tablets look like M&Ms.
Oh goodness I forgot…
Not to get too political or anything, but this looks like a new strategy for Biden:
New Biden Ad On Truth Social Hits 'Confused' Trump Over Cognitive Decline (https://www.meidastouch.com/news/new-biden-ad-on-truth-social-hits-confused-trump-over-cognitive-decline)
Biden campaign drops new ad highlighting Trump's cognitive slow-down on Trump's own platform*
*emphasis mine. ;)
-
That's funny. They're placing this kind of ad where his "fans" will actually see it. ;D
-
Nice pitcher DR VIXMOM.
-
Purdue has a basketball player named Camden Heide - pronounced like the book.
-
What is this page three merde?
-
Marshall Harvey came by and we watched his student film - lots of fun. Then we went to Barone's for food - a pepperoni pizza that was great and I had a little salad.
-
DR Jane - thanks. Had a great dental appointment. Unfortunately, I'll have to go through the process again fairly soon on a different area.
But it hasn't been too bad.
-
As far as the Rx, it's just a big jug with powder. It's the same type of deal as over the counter, just a gentler formulation.
-
And a big thank you to everyone else for the birthday wishes. It means the world to me. Lots of love
Hope it was a terrific day and a terrific year ahead!
-
I am disappointed with DR Jrand73 that there wasn't a donut.
-
Or, more importantly, a donut deliverer.
-
Inching toward page four.
-
And a big thank you to everyone else for the birthday wishes. It means the world to me. Lots of love
You are welcome. Did you have a nice day.
Good news but groan you have to repeat the process. At least it hasn't been too bad.
-
I went with Keith to a doctor's appointment. While waiting I walked a litt (inside the the sky bridge between the parking lot and the medical building), finished reading a book, and then walked again.
For anyone looking for it, the American Masters program about Bernstein is also called "Reaching for the Note," and it is Episode 1 from Season 13.
~~~IMPORTANT ENVELOPE VIBES OF UTMOST URGENCY~~~ for BK!!!!!
-
Good night, friends.
-
Happy Birthday to occasional DR Michael Shayne!
-
Last couple of days kind of strange for me. I don't know why.
Have felt a bit out of my normal self, whatever that might actually be.
I may be reacting, somewhat, to the new drug Dupixent, although i have nothing tangible to actually point to and say this is a side effect.
Dupixent advertises on TV as a remediation from eczema. It is also a much-vaunted remediation for the sinus issues I have which seem to be improving daily. A side effect could be eczema at the point of injection, but that's a possibility rather than a probability.
-
Today, I felt the need for a salad and went to the club and got a very nice blackened chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing.
I also unboxed my new mini-fridge and set in my dining room next to my kitchen door. I got my VA meds that require refrigeration today, so they are safely tucked away along with a bunch of soft drinks.
-
Since I last posted, I have managed to watch episode three of "True Detective: Night Country" and I remain intrigued by it.
I also re-watched "Saltburn" and continue to be in awe of the acting talents of Keoghan, Pike and Grant.
They are wonderful. The others are really good, but Barry Keoghan is amazing, Rosamund Pike is a revelation and Richard E. Grant has never been as perfectly cast as he is in this film. My opinion.
-
Back from Pretty Woman: The Musical.
-
Ouch.
-
Fun cast, but oh what a lousy show.
-
When you want less singing and more libretto, something is seriously wrong.
-
Still, it was oddly compatible with last week’s My Fair Lady. Very similar structure, though Pretty Woman has two scenes thst could be like the Ascot Races before they go to the opera (aka the ball).
-
I don’t have the cast recording, but the program said it was all based on Jerry Mitchell’s original production.
-
And yet, the audience ate it up.
-
People were whooping and hollering. And they left talking about how much they enjoyed it.
-
Bryan Adams should stick to pop songs.
-
And that’s enough of that.
-
Onward!
-
Five!
-
Good night, all.
-
It seems to me many people are in absentia.
-
Yes, that's what it seems to me.
-
It just does.

I have heard nothing but great things about "Saltburn."
-
I really want to see this.
-
Back from Pretty Woman: The Musical.
Ouch.
Yikes. ::)
-
I kinda felt this way when I listened to selections from the cast album and watched videos of songs on YouTube.
-
I just really never interested me...neither did the original movie.
-
Now, if they had adapted My Best Friend's Wedding into a musical, that would've had more potential than this. ::)
-
Just my 2¢.
-
I mean, just listen to the lyrics of "You're Beautiful (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uygPPGUORNY)" (if you dare).
-
:P
-
I do like the performers, but the score is just...lacking everything.
-
Page five is ridic.
-
Even page six would be ridic.
-
Page seven I wouldn't care for.
-
Page eight would be acceptable.
-
But page five?
-
And George just leaves us here, stranded?
-
Is that right?
-
Isn't it rich.
-
Isn't it queer.
-
I thought that we'd be on page eight
-
Sorry, my dear.
-
Send in the posts.
-
Or send in page six.
-
Don't bother - it's here.
-
And no thanks to George, who is stuffing his face with free tacos.
-
No tacos, but I did have a meatloaf frozen dinner.
-
Page six is ridic.
-
I chopped off some hair.
-
Had to.
-
It was necessary.
-
It was a must.
-
Couldn't wait.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
And they MUST be read.
-
It was a Marie Callender's® Duos Meatloaf & Country Fried Chicken Frozen Meal (https://www.qfc.com/p/marie-callender-s-duos-meatloaf-country-fried-chicken-frozen-meal/0002113100937).
-
And?
-
It was pretty good, but a little too much...and much too much sodium. ::)
-
And?
-
But I ate it all. :-\
-
And?
-
I won't be getting it again.
-
And?
-
I just wanted to try it, but I didn't notice the sodium content until after I started cooking it.
-
I wish Marie Callender's was still with us.
-
I could've saved one of the entrees (or half of each), but they certainly taste better when freshly microwaved.
-
And?
-
I wish Marie Callender's was still with us.
I've never been to an actual Marie Callender's restaurant.
-
What?
