Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a lovely reaction, and now it is time for you to post until the lovely cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AFFABLE!
-
BK, if you regularly go to Vivian's Café every time She of the Evil Eye is at your place, hopefully those two guys talking about their "deals" won't also regularly be there either. :o

Good morning, all!
-
On the mayo front, Amazon Fresh has Duke's. I can;t try it till I'm out of the Hellman's.
-
I slept rather well. The cats got manic around 9:30, just after I turned out the lights. When I woke around midnight, they were all worn out: Thatch was asleep on my computer chair, Annabelle on her pillow next to me, and Stella in her red plastic tub.
-
I think today is the first day of printing tax receipts. I have a fresh ink cartridge close to hand.
-
Thatch has jumped up on my computer table. I think he likes to jump into my lap because he gets a cuddle and a kiss before I let him onto the table.
-
Notes enjoyed. Sensed.
-
I miss cats in bed. But now I have at least one kid show up every night.
-
And I must be ever vigilant. Daughter has wild legs that fly around, and I’ve developed a 6th sense that has many times saved Mrs R from getting kicked in the face.
-
Had two such saves tonight. The silent hero.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I may swear by Duke’s, but I also swear by a sale. Costco had Hellman’s on a super special, do that’s what I actually have in my fridge now.
-
Great heroics, DR Rodzinski.
-
Best wishes, BK, for your taping today.
-
I’m tired, but I need to stir.
-
Dancing dreams last night.
-
Had two such saves tonight. The silent hero.
That should be an Olympic sport. I'd watch.
-
Good morning, friends.

BK, if you regularly go to Vivian's Café every time She of the Evil Eye is at your place, hopefully those two guys talking about their "deals" won't also regularly be there either. :o
But what if they're entertaining? :)

Here's Elizabeth Swados' catchy song "Find Me a Hero"

More vibes for BK's taping session today!
-
Ginny - Hoping your and Richard's wall hangings get done to your liking!
-
Good morning, all.
-
This morning I'm listening to Matilda, which I'm playing in March and which I'm picking up music for today. I think I'm watching a rehearsal, too, if they're having one worth observing today.
-
More ridiculous dreams last night and early this morning.
Ridic, I tell you.
-
Page Two.
-
More interview vibes for MR BK.
And feel better vibes for MUSE MARGARET.
-
Congrats to DR JANE on her millstone.
-
DR VIXMOM I think you should definitely bring home a jar of Duke's.
How's the work on the van progressing?
-
Just home from Walgreen's and picking up my two prescriptions.
Then I bought a jar age 50+ multiple vitamins and a jar of Glucosomine......
-
My prescriptions were $0 and my vitamins and supplement were paid for by my Humana card.....so I spent NO money.
-
Both of my tax documents - State & Federal - have been accepted.
So done for 2023.
-
I have lost a book......vanished.....

I like the sound of the expression of "age 50+" or even "age 55+" - It doesn't sound as bad as older or elder.
-
Both of my tax documents - State & Federal - have been accepted.
So done for 2023.
Wow, congratulations!
-
DR VIXMOM I think you should definitely bring home a jar of Duke's.
How's the work on the van progressing?
I think it’s time they set a jar of Duke’s and a jar of Hellman’s down in front of the new kid and explained that it’s time to make a decision, let the world know where he stands, show which side he’s on.
-

But what if they're entertaining? :)
That's always a possibility.

That's great, Jrand!

But that's not great, Jrand. :-\
-
Oh well.....maybe I loaned it to someone.
-
I loved all of those AIP teen dramas.
However I think High School Hellcats - judging by the ages of the actresses - could have generously be called Grad School Hellcats.
And according to the title song - Diary of a High School Bride was actually called "Die-ree of a High School Bride."

I got the van back Friday as promised.

Singdaw, Vixson does indeed have a name
-
He has Bach’s middle name as his first .
-
The Middle name is the same as the first name of the recently deceased English monarch’s youngest child

How are the Vixter and Vixhubby feeling?
Are they able to get some rest?

I think I've floated before that a movie or show about a production of "Grease" in a senior center should be done, if only to call it "Ancient Grease."
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep.

From DR Freddie:
Jane, you just passed 131,000.
Does 131,000 count as a millstone?
Wow, I hadn't noticed. I suppose it could-lol
-
Thank you DR Singdaw.
-
From DR George:
My sister and niece get the big jars of Vegenaise, but they don't they let it go bad...they use enough of it. :)
There was a time when I could easily have used up an entire jar. Now the only sandwiches I make are egg salad. While I preferred the Vegenaise in egg salad I prefer Best/Hellman's on other sandwiches.
-
From George:
I've never had it before, but it looks like it's available here:
It came from the South: Duke’s Mayonaise makes its way to the Pacific Northwest
Yesterday I looked at the Fred Meyer website and saw it for sale.
-
George, thanks from Keith.
-
DR Vixmom, thank you from Keith.
-
Thanks George for sharing my millstone.
-
Thank you John.
-
The posts about the KEWPIE Japanese Mayonnaise are interesting.
-
From John:
Think Miracle Whip without the acrid aftertaste.
LOL Miracle Whip doesn't taste good before the aftertaste.
-
The raisin pie sounds good. Like Sho fly pie, which is very sweet, I can only imagine eating a few bites.

Oh well.....maybe I loaned it to someone.
I stopped loaning out books for awhile after not getting them back and forgetting who I gave them to.
-
After difficulty getting to sleep last night I woke up surprised I wasn't screaming from my terrifying dream.
-
Around 3:15 I was finally drifting off to sleep when Keith kicked my leg really hard, not once but twice. I wondered what he was dreaming about ;D
-
Needless to say I didn't fall back to sleep until around 7:00, and only for about 45 minutes.
-
Congrats to HERO RODZINSKI on his quick thinking and acting.
-
DR IRIS those are my guesses about the name.
-
DR JANE I guess I missed DR VIXMOM's post about getting the van back......
-
I am flabbergasted.
An Ice Cream Truck just drove by my house playing "Polly Waddle Doodle All Day."
And the lady in the next block came out and bought something.
Is this February?
-
DR CHAS SMITH I hope you see something you like at the rehearsal.

I don't think I'll leave the home environment this day.

Muse Margaret called - feeling a bit better - so I ran all the other questions by her, we did a few and didn't do the others - she's very strong that nothing can sound arch or "proper" in a way that's not me. I read her the new thing I added and she really liked it. So, now it's the other proofer.
-
Great, BK.
-
DR Jrand73, I am envious of your tax status.
-
As in, done.
-
"Polly Wolly Doodle" is now on repeat in my brain. :)
-
It remains to be seen if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
-
Wednesday evening greetings! I was outta here at 10am to meet some DAR friends at the historical museum in Lebanon (Ohio), about 20 minutes from our new home.
-
Ginny - Hoping your and Richard's wall hangings get done to your liking!
Thank you, DR Freddie! I skipped lunch with my friends at the Golden Lamb in order to be home in time for Mike’s 1pm return. He finished up all we had ready for him and assessed the stained glass piece. He’ll be back next week to install that in one of the windows in our entryway.

Still on page four?
-
Oh dear.
-
Nothing to do but post up a storm.
-
But NOT the storm plaguing the upper Northwest.
-
To get to page 5, maybe some songs with "rain" in the title?
-
My grandniece is sell Girl Scout cookies. Of course we want to support her, once we get the correct info. For some reason we can't find the original emails my niece sent. They did not go into spam and they are not in trash.
-
We will eventually sort it out. I'm only buying boxes to donate vs eating them.
-
“Singin’ in the Rain" —Gene Kelly
-
Since we are not local donating is a better option then paying for shipping ;D
-
“Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head”—BJ Thomas
-
Why I don't buy cookies to eat. Keith would like one Samoas, that's it. Guess who would eat the rest of the box.
-
Oh, we're on page 5!
-
Freddie, good job getting us to five.
-
'night
-
There was an article (I think the Times) on Girl Scout cookies going up from $5 to $7.
-
Goodnight, Jane!

Good night, friends.

And you'll be at page 6 before me.

This afternoon Vixdad and I went grocery shopping for the recently expanded Vixter family
-
Then we delivered the groceries , and I put them away
-
Then while I made dinner, Grandad cuddled Vixson.
-
Once everything was in the oven it was my turn for cuddles
-
To get to page 5, maybe some songs with "rain" in the title?
It's Raining Men
Here Comes the Rain Again
It's Raining Again (https://www.youtube.com/watch?si=A-UbhfHKw-m3yENj&v=YZUE4_PtOk0)
-
Then the Vixter fed her boy and he went for a nap while we had dinner and played a game of Happy Little Dinosaurs.
-
Which, despite its name, is not a children’s game
-
Then I cleaned up the kitchen and Vixson woke up for an evening snack, just in time for us to get a cuddle before we left .
-
Vixdad and I stopped at the Perkins down the road from our complex for dessert
-
I had a warm slice of the Wildberry pie, a la mode
-
Vixdad had the raspberry lemon drop
-
And now we’re safely ensconced in our unit
-
Why I don't buy cookies to eat. Keith would like one Samoas, that's it. Guess who would eat the rest of the box.
Keebler has Coconut Dreams™ Cookies (https://www.keebler.com/en/sweet-treat/cookies/fudge/coconut-dreams) that remind me a lot of Samoas. They are quite delish.

I come before you to stand behind you…and say Good Night. I’m beat.

So, why is no one else here in the evening? :-\
-
Tomorrow morning, I plan to listen to (some of?) the audiostream of the arguments before the Supreme Court regarding tRump.
-
Good question, DR George.
-
Another night of fitful sleep.
-
Sigh.
-
It'll start at 7:00 am (left coast time)/10:00 am (right coast time).
