Well, you've read the notes, the notes were tracked, and now it is time for you to post until the trapped cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CACHET!
-
For the question in the Notes: Are Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick considered a theatrical couple? They've been doing "Plaza Suite" together for quite a while, it seems.
-
Happy first month birthday to vixmom's grandson!
-
(also known as the Vixter's son)
-
Good morning.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
.
-
Who decides these things?
-
Theatrical couples: I would count Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn.
-
Good morning, all!
-
The only other couple I can think of is Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee.
-
I slept well after spending most of yesterday dragging myself around. The cats behaved, which is rare. I had several dreams, one involving the used book shop a block away on Broadway, but I don't remember much about it now.
-
Lat night I watched the live stream of Indiana University Opera Theater's propduction of Eugene Onegin. It was beautifully staged, and the cast and orchestra were wonderful.
-
I have no plans for today. I need to put laundry together and I need to tidy up the apartment.
-
Good morning, all.
-
We have here a going-up-to-60-degrees (and dry!) Sunday. I might get outdoors to do a couple of little things. Mostly, I must work on music. I should also get a load of laundry done.
My, don’t I sound ambitious?
-
Gordon and Sheila MacRae?
-
Good morning, all.
-
Andy Karl and Orfeh?
-
;)

Been enjoying Rod Stewart’s new Swing album. He’s channeling Louis Prima and more in a brassy array of songs, ranging from Lullaby of Broadway to Almost Like Being in Love to Sentimental Journey. I was indifferent to his songbook albums, but the joy on this album is infectious. Here’s Oh, Marie.

The whole album seems to be online: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nUhxpc_2_zj1MfQskeHMM5SL_wpMRGWOM&si=-7t7WMyoFyM7gGDs

That was fun DR JOHN G.....I didn't know there was such a thing.
-
Very exciting reading about the new book.
-
I think I know a director who will be receiving a copy for her birthday in June.
-
Happy birthday to the Vixson.
-
Temps up to the 70's today....bring it on.
The sun is shining.
-
DR ELMORE of course it was good - as I have said before - when it comes to culture, Indiana is the first hog to the trough.
-
Onward!
-
Two!
-
Kitty cleanup finished, trash taken to the basement and the mail picked up; all that's left is the bed and putting away Grandma's beautiful quilt.

Kismet fans, wait about 35 seconds for it to start:

Happy first Sunday of March to everyone! There's a new Broadway Radio Show up on the site and I am chatting with Tony Award nominated writer/composer Paul Gordon about his latest musical The Gospel According to Heather! Give it a listen...lots of interesting conversation and, of course, selections from the recently released cast recording.

Back to Rich and Strange. The premise is that a bored, young, poor couple get unexpected wealth, and this discover they’re bored but in a higher class. It’s an early talkie, some odd moments of dubbed sound but it’s visually fascinating.
-
From Vixmom:
She and I spent an hour on a video call with the Vixter and Vixhubby while Vixson slept peacefully in his mama’s arms the entire call.
Sweet.
-
From Vixmom:
At this point I suddenly realized I never put my monitor back on…it was only supposed to charge for 90 minutes
Oops. Maybe they wll want you to extend the study to make up for the missing time.
-
I disconnected my ankle bracelet for 90 minutes. They had a fit.
-
;D
-
Andy Karl and Orfeh?
Jason Daniely and (the late :( ) Marin Mazzie.
-
Danny Burstein and the late Rebecca Luker. :-X

Imogene Coca and King Donovan. Right, JRand?
-
Started watching Jupiter Ascending, a cheesy sci-fi film with Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. According to a hilarious review on rogerebert.com, Eddie Redmayne appears to be doing an impression of Glenn Close if she were 100. It’s accurate.
-
LOL I wonder if that was intentional.
-
Bruce enjoy your family lunch.
-
I just watched a house hunter episode where they were looking in Studio City. The poor buyers had a budget of only 7 million.
-
They were complaining that the massive kitchen island didn't have a second built-in sink.
-
ATTENTION:
There are 527,040 minutes this year.
Please adjust your production of RENT accordingly.
-
This movie is so bad that it’s enjoyable for the mess that it is.
-
The score is the worst kind of faux Carmina Burana imaginable.

I just watched a house hunter episode where they were looking in Studio City. The poor buyers had a budget of only 7 million.
Did it buy much?
-
They were complaining that the massive kitchen island didn't have a second built-in sink.
Does that fit the definition of first world problems? :)
-
Could some first world problems get us to page 3?
-
Like: Sleeping in too late on a day off and now having less time to do nothing.
-
Or: "Can't hear the television over my crunchy snacks."
-
Or: "The coke fizzed too much when I poured it into my glass, and I had to wait for the fizz to go down before I could continue pouring."
-
They were complaining that the massive kitchen island didn't have a second built-in sink.
I find this funny. When we designed our dream kitchen in Ashland (god I miss that kitchen) we argured over putting in a second sink on the island. I wanted the counter space for rolling and cutting cookie dough and for bread. Keith wanted the second sink for cutting vegetables and prepping meals. Since a second sink was popular for resale he won.
I will say, with two cooks in the kitchen the second space was nice to have.
-
THREE!

I hate when that happens.

My little girl is resting and taking antibiotics and Tylenol. The diagnosis is two simultaneous infections. One respiratory which we knew about, and a UTI we did not.

TOD: Sutton Foster and Christian Borle, for a little while.
I saw them once together in a Snoopy musical benefit of some sort.

Thanks Fred!
-
I'm up, I'm up - in bed for eight hours but slept seven.
-
Shaved and showered and answered a few e-mails, and then had to be on my way to Shanghai Rose for lunch.
-
We all had a splendid time - brother now has a big beard. I gave him the new book. He brought along a distant cousin on my mother's side, and he was super close with several people who get their real names in the book.
-
I didn't actually eat very much - one helping of orange chicken (not too good), string beans, one shrimp, a bit of fried rice, and a small pork bao.
-
Now I'm back home and ready to do absolutely nothing.
-

That sounds great!

And the food sounds great, too!

Poor baby. Vibes the antibiotics work quickly.

It sounds like you made the right call to go to the ER.

Also Audra McDonald and Will Swenson.
-
And Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus.
-
Poor little Gal Rodzinski. Sending her vibes
-
I woke up this morning feeling achy and tired
-
Put it down to all the curtain hanging yesterday
-
Went to church where I served as assisting minister , serving communion to half the congregation
-
Then cleaned up and reset for the next service
-
I was starting to feel more and more tired and achy and resolved to have a hot shower and nap when I got home
-
Delivered communion to three homebound parishioners
-
My throat was stating to feel a bit sore and I was getting a headache
-
Guess I’m getting a cold I says to Vixdad
-
I hope it’s nothing worse I says
-
Oh take a Covid test for peace of mind says Vixdad
-
I did not get peace of mind
-
What I got was a positive reading
-
So off to urgent care where they gave me another test
-
Same results
-
PA called in a prescription for paxlovid and we went home where I I promptly fell asleep
-
A couple of hours later. Vixdad woke me to say the insurance company denied coverage and CVS want nearly 1700.00 for 30 pills
-
I called urgent care and spoke to the PA
-
She subscribed lagevrio now.
-
Which was approved and the co pay was $10.01 for 40 pills.
-
So I’ve taken those and napped for an additional 4 hours or so
-
Called my Pastor…I hope I didn’t spread it to everyone
-
Called my boss who told me to stay home tomorrow and see how I feel tomorrow evening
-
Called My mom and Bill to alert them to be on the lookout for symptoms
-
Now I’m eating some potato soup Vixdad made for me
-
Called My mom and Bill to alert them to be on the lookout for symptoms
Sending love and vibes!
-
Oh no DR Vixmom. Mega vibes you did not give it to anyone. Did you wear a mask for any of the home visits?

GET WELL QUICK VIBES FOR DR VIXMOM!
-
Sunday evening greetings! I’ve had a quiet weekend, spending a lot of time my craft desk. I missed my paper crafting so much most of last year.
-
She subscribed lagevrio now.
DR Vixmom, I’m so sorry Covid caught you! Richard and I were both prescribed Lagevrio. He tolerated the complete course, but you may remember I broke out in hives and had to stop taking it. Watch for itchy red splotches.
-
Get well vibes, too, for Little Miss Rodzinski!
-
Vibes for DR VIXMOM.

Sunday is almost over...thank goodness!

Congrats to the Indiana State Sycamores on their Missouri Valley NCAA victory.

Especially IS player Robbie Avila.

With home visits I leave the communion in their mailbox outside their door so no face to face contact . We haven’t changed that procedure since we began it during the pandemic

DR jane - 7 million bought a pretty nice house, I thought. Multiple bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, views, and pools. Much nicer than any place I've ever lived! :)

Vibes for Vixmom and Little Miss Rodzinski.

Starting a really bad movie called Murder and Cocktails. I am going to skip to the end.

I've got nothing.

But have you got plenty o’ nothing?

I skipped down to the last 15 minutes of the movie. No better than the beginning.

No, I don't have plenty.

Or good.

Or good n' plenty.

But I like "Days of Plenty."

Maureen McGovern's ballad from Little Women.

Scrounging for posts.
That reminds me of this post that I came across on Instagram (at least, I think that's where I got it...I'd hate to have downloaded it from HHW and completely forgotten that ::) ):
-
It’s past mne too, but I want to finish the movie.
-
So many good faces as extras. Alex Rocco appears in a strip club as a lech. John Hillerman runs a boutique.
-
SPOILER ALERT:
The lesbian stalker did it. Yawn.
NOOOOOOO!!! Not the lesbian stalker! :'(

;D
-
I had never heard of this one before, but I am really enjoying it.

Milestone!

The Outside Man is quite good so far. Georgia Engel and Jackie Earle Haley are in it.
I saw Georgia Engle in the national tour of The Drowsy Chaperone in Seattle!

Congrats, John!

Thank you, George, for capturing that monumental achievement. Too bad it doesn’t come with a check.

Good night, all.

I hear ya. ;)

Got the designed book for proofing. But I'm having them fix the big stuff that doesn't involve proofing. Just has to do with where things start on the page and they've used italics for all the chapter headings and sub-headings and I don't want any italics nor did I use any. Once they fix that stuff, then it will be the proper page count (because they're starting the chapters too high on the page, we lose twenty pages - so all they have to do is space down two spaces and it will pretty much match exactly what I did. But it looks quite spiffy. Hopefully, they can do that tomorrow and I'll have it back for the final go-through on Tuesday.
-
Major get well vibes for VIXMOM!!
-
And super get well vibes for Little Girl Rodzinski. ❤️
-
Theater couples:
John Dossett and Michele Pawk.
They met performing in Hello Again.
-
Also Mamma Mia!
Now they’re both in Wicked on Broadway.
Been married at least 20 years.
-
Also, Sal Viviano and Liz Larsen.
They’ve performed in Romance/Romance together.
And Evita.
-
Oh, and in Sunday in the Park with George.

Has anyone yet mentioned Debbie (Shapiro) and Beau Gravitte? Today, I just happened to hear an interview with one of their sons, an actor in his own right (but I forgot his name). ::)

For the question in the Notes: Are Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick considered a theatrical couple? They've been doing "Plaza Suite" together for quite a while, it seems.
I think so.
They also performed in How to Succeed on Broadway, when Sarah Jessica Parker took over the role of Rosemary.

New notes are up.

Up are new notes.
