Would you like to know how much YouTube takes of channel revenue? Hold on to your hats, baby - 45%. Can you even imagine what YouTube must make in a year?
I notice that in the DR responses to the TOD, no one has listed Debra Messing.
Up way too early for an usher job.
.
My sleep was fraught with odd dreams. Truly odd. Nothing upsetting, however, except that in one I am running, running, running...and can no longer run that way. I blame an episode of "Midsomer Murders" for the running as one character does that several times, and in the last run he gets hit with a log by someone and is pushed over a cliff.
In my dream I'm running toward a place I want to get to, but at every turn, I seem to be getting further away from it.
I hate those kinds of dreams.

That sounds like a frustrating dream!
Saturday. And tonight is the High School Alumni Dinner. I hope I see more people I like than the opposite.
I like all of the lists.
Mine:
Lucille Ball
Jean Harlow (I watched Personal Property on TCM this week and she was so very funny)
Gale Storm
Betty Hutton
Kaye Ballard
Joan Rivers
Debbie Reynolds
I just had a nice discussion with Doug about putting "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" into the ballet score. Then we will have two western songs in the score. I would like to remove some of the "Russian" music in the score and make it more American.
I think it's wonderful that he remains as enthusiastic about further improving the piece as you are.

The list would be too long to be complete, but a few that come to mind:
Carole Lombard
Irene Dunne
Myrna Loy
Jean Harlow
Katharine Hepburn
Lucille Ball
Eve Arden
Kay Ballard
Mary Tyler Moore
Carole Burnett
I look like a plate of cheddar fries. Does that count?

Today at 2 p.m., I attend a "First Birthday" party for my cousin Allie Kate Mims. She is the third child of my cousin Chad Mims, and he is the first-born of my cousin Debra Mims. He is also the brother of Becky Mims Moore who gave birth this past Monday to Levi Judge Moore who I will be meeting for the first time at the party.
I will stop at my cousin Debra's house before the event to see some of the work she is having done to her back porch (a roof is being placed over it and she's really excited about how it is developing). I may use her contractor to enclose my back porch and turn it into a sun room. More on that later when I have had a meeting with him, get his suggestions and a possible estimate.
I don't suppose anyone has said anything about the man who set himself on fire outside the Lower NYC courtroom yesterday while jury selection was ongoing in the Drumpf trial?
He was a young man from St. Augustine Fl (another story called him a Long Island native), had been passing out conspiracy-based leaflets, and then doused himself with something and set himself on fire.
He died. No one is sure what statement he was making other than sacrificing himself over idiotic conspiracy theories.
Something that perplexes me:
When I log into HainesHisWay.com, I am often taken NOT here but to a page where it claims Rob Stevens is a reviewer for HainesHisWay.com.
Does anyone -- BK? -- know what this is all about?
I was finally done and ready for Vixdad to drive me home around 1115

Sending love and health wishes to you. Hoping the tests turn out OK.
Apparently my heart was beating too fast for their liking so I had to take some meds to slow it down
Then they put me on a saline drip to gkeep me hydrated
By time I got to the CAT machine it was nearly 11
Then they pushed some iodine contrast into my veins which always feels weird
Then we went to the deli where Vixdad bought us egg samiches
He’s still in his RPG

I love Harlow in Libeled Lady.
I read a list of the top 30 fiction novels. I have read all bu two on the list. What I don't understand is why Papillon is on the list. Shouldn't it be under non-fiction? I saw the movie and never felt the need to read it.

~~~RESULTS VIBES~~~ for DR vixmom!!!
Here’s the cake:
I shall soon be on my way.
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep - got up at one and have been playing catch up ever since. Must be on my way to a matinee in forty-five minutes.
My sister's allergies have struck so she will not be attending the Alumni Banquet with me.....I shall be accompanied only by my fellow classmate from 1968 - Gail.
I couldn't finish The Goldfinch.
Papillion is a novel, translated by Patrick O’Brien. Which may explain why I never finished it.
I couldn't finish The Goldfinch.
I loved that, though the drug use was depressing. Lot of drug use in The Secret History.
I am most upset with the IRS. They tell me my refund should be made within three weeks of filing, and three weeks is now up.Where the fat hell is my refund?
DR George maybe if you cook the chicken dinner in the oven and add cashews it will taste better.
I hadn't heard that he had died. :-\
It does have oven instructions, but I really don't think that that will help. It'll need some more radical enhancements to be palatable...probably.
Thanks. I'm gonna need it. I can't yet think of what I could add or change to make it better...maybe lots of cheese sauce? ;D
You can never go wrong with a main course with lots of cheese or cheese sauce.
DR Rodzinksi, that is sad about the smoker falling asleep. Did the smoker make it out alive?
That's pretty cool, but...this is, of course, only for those of us in the United States of America, and not for those in other countries where they list the dates as day/month/year. ::)
What a lovely gift, George!
And what a lovely pizza!
