Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the strangled bush and the reason for it, and now it is time for you to post until the strangled cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: DEFIANT!

Notes dimed. Sublimed.

~~~Continued Vibes for a Modern Major Miracle For BK!!~~~
What does it cost someone all-in to mail a check for 10 cents?
-
Notes dimed. Sublimed.
I first read this as "Notes dimed. Slimed." :))
-
I want to go to this alternate universe where the show with BK and John Davidson and Sally Field is airing.
Notes dimed. Sublimed.
I first read this as "Notes dimed. Slimed." :))
I would never slime the notes. That would be just uncouth!
Whew!! There were SO many valid choices for the first letter! :o
It's not streaming anywhere. There are a few episodes on YouTube but none of the later ones. Amusingly, the script for my episode is for sale on eBay. Of course, I have mine in a box somewhere. I can see that I played a telegram messenger.
I'd do that again on Angie.
Candy Gram.
I always liked those sketches on SNL. And it turned out to be a shark that ate whoever answered the door.
Continued MODERN MAJOR MIRACLE vibes for MR BK.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I may have watched one half of one episode of The Girl With Something Extra.
I think Tv Guide's critic Cleveland Amory called Sally Field ... "the girl with nothing extra...."
-
Around 3:00 this morning I took two Tylenol to see if that would ease the leg pain. I woke at 7:00! I slept really well.
-
Last night was long a boring. I kept looking for something funny - but nothing fit the description.
Gail and I had three other folks at our table....so I kept them amused with a running commentary on what was happening at the podium. We were laughing and having a good time....
-
My state senator was there and I talked to him for a bit telling him about his great aunt who had been my Composition teacher in high school.
She had lead a very interesting life - she was an officer in the army in WWII. She went all over the world and spent a lot of time in Africa. We loved to hear her tell her stories.
-
I asked a lady at the table behind us to take a photo of Gail and me....and it turned out she was my distant cousin....Mooresville....you know.
-
But mostly it was boring.
-
When I woke, I could tell that it was later than my usual 6:30 alarm, which I did not set last night. Thatch, who was lying on the bed with Annabelle, was watching me. He suddenl;y got up, ran to me, and literally leaped into a bundle in the curve of my hip and abdomen.It was so adorable. I played with him for a couple of minutes before I announced to all three cats that it was time for breakfast.
-
DR Jrand73, I can't imagine it was that boring. You sound as if you had a good time.
-
Good morning
-
Today, I will finish the orchestration for the insert of "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, which I think will fit nicely into the score. After that, who knows?
I fell asleep almost immediately after my last post yesterday afternoon, to be awoken by Vixdad at 6 pm reminding me we had plans with two other couples to play a RPG and had to leave
DR George, as soon as I know the ballet is available to watch, I will announce it.
So I had a quick change of clothes and a hair and teeth brush and off we went
We fought the Druid, woke the dead and I lost my pet mimic in a horrid battle that nearly killed me too.
Here is photographic evidence of the soiree last night. I am wearing the current rage - a casual shirt with a zipper closure....soon everyone will be wearing them.... Actually I found it in the closet and it sort of matched, so I wore it.
I will say that the Michael Strahan jacket I am wearing is one of the first ones I have purchased in recent years that really fits and is exactly the size it says it is. If you need to buy a new jacket....check for his brand.
Or does the world go round and round all on its own?
Sometimes you're happy, sometimes you're sad
But the world goes 'round
Sometimes you lose every nickel you had
But the world goes 'round
Sometimes your dreams get broken in pieces
But that doesn't alter a thing
Take it from me, there's still gonna be
A summer, a winter, a fall and a spring
And sometimes a friend starts treating you bad
But the world goes 'round
And sometimes your heart breaks with a deafening sound
Somebody loses and somebody wins
And one day it's kicks, then it's kicks in the shins
But the planet spins, and the world goes 'round-
But the world goes 'round
But the world goes 'round
Sometimes your dreams get broken in pieces
But that doesn't matter at all
Take it from me, there's still gonna be
A summer, a winter, a spring and a fall
And sometimes a friend starts treating you bad
But the world goes 'round
And sometimes your heart breaks with a deafening sound
Somebody loses and somebody wins
Then one day it's kicks, then it's kicks in the shins
But the planet spins, and the world goes 'round
And 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round
The world goes 'round and 'round and 'round
And 'round!
It is an overcast Sunday morning here in the CSRA.
It's unusually quiet, although some bird is chirping his heart out in a nearby tree.
-
"But the World Goes Round", lyrics posted above somewhere, is a John Kander-Fred Ebb song written for Liza Minelli in "New York, New York".
-
It's a great song DR RONPULLIAM.
Thanks DR FREDDIE - sometimes a personal appearance is necessary.
The sun is shining here in Indiana so that's good. We have a freeze warning for tonight.
Lively morning here at HHW!
-
Love makes the world go square, as they sing in Richard Rodgers’ No Strings.
-
I was watching an old TCM movie intro on YouTube and it was done by the great Bob Dorian, who I’d forgotten about.
-
Once I was at an outdoor table on 45th and 9th and saw Robert Osborne getting into a cab. I shouted his name. He looked over, I said “Love you!” and he gave the nicest thumbs up, and got into his car. A cherished mem’ry.
Now, I sneak out of parties to go to my house.
DR GEORGE nice present. Enjoy your closing day!
Thanks, Jrand!
Definitely! But I wouldn't want a run much longer...then we'd all complain about how it's taking so long and when will it end??
DR RODZINSKI I think that Bob Dorian was on the old AMC channel when it was commercial free.....and much better!
Oh hell, it was a real movie channel back then, very much in the TCM vein. And at one point, in no time at all, they took a huge dump on it and, as far as movies were concerned, it might as well have ceased to exist.
Sweet! I have a friend who has a beagle! I'll have to send this to him.
-
Listening to Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Stephen Ward.
That definitely was a different duck for Lord Andy. ::)
-
.
Has anyone ever had or seen a chocolated covered cashew? I don't believe I have.
I have...they are quite yummy!
-
.
National Chocolate Covered Cashews Day?? :o
I LOVE Chocolate Covered Cashews! :D
I guess I need to find some.
Yes, Jane! You do!
-
DR RODZINSKI I think that Bob Dorian was on the old AMC channel when it was commercial free.....and much better!
Oh hell, it was a real movie channel back then, very much in the TCM vein. And at one point, in no time at all, they took a huge dump on it and, as far as movies were concerned, it might as well have ceased to exist.
Exactly
Wow, you have such a fun-filled life! That's wonderful.
-
Thank you DR JANE!
-
Sunday is moving along.
-
Nice photo DR JOHNG!
-
Nothing else is happening here at the moment.
And that is okay with me.
-
Even the parakeets are apathetic and comatose right now.
-
April 21st!!!
-
Former DR JMK is having a production of his Frances Farmer musical Starstruck today.
I think there are two performances today!
-
How can it only be Sunday?
-
Sunday = Ed Sullivan, Bonanza, Candid Camera, and What's My Line and tomorrow....SCHOOL!
-
Trying to stir from a nap. I have a Fiesta fireworks party to attend this evening.
Really?? My sister used to drive a Ford Fiesta.
-
I didn't know that there was a whole party with fireworks to celebrate them!
:))
-
Intermission! It's going well, so far.
-
I didn't know that there was a whole party with fireworks to celebrate them!
:))
you live a sheltered life.
-
My sister and a friend if hers are here seeing the show today. :)
-
I always hated when Ed Sullivan had ballet dancers or opera singers or Myron Cohen or Sam Levinson... that was NOT entertainment for this younger self.
-
Obviously!
-
Good news DR GEORGE.
National Chocolate Covered Cashews Day?? :o
I LOVE Chocolate Covered Cashews! :D
I guess I need to find some.
Yes, Jane! You do!
I eat chocolated covered almonds, macadanian nuts, and peanuts. I don't care for chocolate covered walnuts. I will mix chocolate with almonds, macadanian nuts, and peanuts if I don't have ones already covered in chocolate. Next time I have chocolate to mix & cashews at the same time I will try it.
-
This joint is jumpin’.
-
Even the parakeets are apathetic and comatose right now.
I am sorry they aren't more entertaining.
-
I feel bad I didn't go. I do believe my days of watching shows are over. I simply miss too much with my hearing, or lack of it.
-
My sister and a friend if hers are here seeing the show today. :)
Nice.
-
I didn't need to help with strike...well, I guess I wasn't needed. ::)
-
Gratuitous Post #250!!
-
No one said that I needed to do anything, so I'm outta there.
-
Now, I'm off to forage for food...probably the Jersey Mike's that's pretty close to the theater.
-
I didn't need to help with strike...well, I guess I wasn't needed. ::)
Lucky you.
-
Only 6.5 days until we leave and I am having complications again. I am very discouraged and it has ruined Keith's birthday.
-
I just caught up,
-
I am sorry about your complications, Jane’s. I hope they are resolved quickly
-
Hoping Keith had a happy birthday nonetheless
-
Thank you DR Vixmom.
-
I went to church where we had a baptism of a very cheerful baby boy
-
Then I reset everything for the second service and headed out to deliver communion to my housebound parishioners
-
Then I stopped and bought an egg sandwich for Vixdad , it my hat and was beginning to ache again so I didn’t get anything for myself
-
I came home, took 2 Tylenol extra strength and fell asleep for three hours
-
When I woke up my whole right side was in agony so I headed to the walk in clinic
-
The doctor confirmed my diagnosis…inner ear infection
-
Sorry, DR Jane.
-
She prescribed ear drops and told me to continue with the tylenol
-
We watched the first two (of four) episodes of Mr. Bates vs. the Post Office on PBS. Excellent series.
-
So I went off to do the chores that still needed doing
-
I'm so sorry, DR vixmom.
-
Picked up some essentials from various stores
-
Found page ten!
-
Only 6.5 days until we leave and I am having complications again. I am very discouraged and it has ruined Keith's birthday.
Congratulations on the end of a successful run!
Thanks, Freddie! It was pretty fun, and hopefully financially successful for the theater company. :)
-
I had the slowest, rudest, nastiest cashier today.
-
I am through with using the self-checkout lane.
Sorry, DR Jane.
Thanks.
Are they antibiotic ear drops or something else?
-
Neither of us are in the mood for popcorn now. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
-
Good evening.
-
Hello, DR Laura.
-
I'm glad Keith had some nice phone calls from the kids today.
-
Feel better soon, Jane and Vixmom.
-
PAGE ELEVEN!
-
And anyone else who is under the weather.
-
Feel better soon, Jane and Vixmom.
DITTO!!!!
-
I wonder how many hamsters there were?
-
One can never have too many hamsters.
-
Guinea pigs, on the other hand...
-
DR John G., have you considered paving your patio with texagons?
-
Tomorrow is not a school day.
-
But it is a work day.
-
Good night, friends.
That's kinda cool!
-
I'm glad Keith had some nice phone calls from the kids today.
Freyja emailed him a drawing she did of a squirell. He thought it was supposed to be of him ;D
-
Thank you Laura.
-
And anyone else who is under the weather.
DITTO!
-
'night
-
Good evening.
Hi Laura!
-
Goodnight, Jane.
-
I do not care for page seven - oh, wait - page ELEVEN? That's pretty amazing. I do care for page eleven and it's still early.
-
I had four slices of pizza for food - Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn is now on DoorDash and with 20% off. Very good, very filling, and 1000 calories.
-
No sweets tonight.
-
Then I sat on my couch like so much fish and went out like a light for two hours.
-
Not sure what I'll watch.
-
I'm kind of in a fowl mood, so maybe I'll watch a movie about chickens.
-
I do not care for page seven - oh, wait - page ELEVEN? That's pretty amazing. I do care for page eleven and it's still early.
It's an early Passover miracle.
-
Congratulations DR George on the end of the run and not being called for strike!
-
Just found this rather charming little film of Hansel and Gretel from Italy. https://youtu.be/eKLw_oDIePA?si=jvpMDTkdIgQ48wEW
-
I’m curious about the story behind DR Laura’s quote
-
No sweets tonight.
Other than us!
-
Am going back to bed
-
Good night folks
-
Congratulations DR George on the end of the run and not being called for strike!
Thanks, MichaelG!
-
PAGE TWELVE DANCE!! :D
-
Good night, Vixmom.
-
Jane (and anyone else interested), my sister got me these chocolate-covered cashews:
-
And here's the back of the package:
-
We watched the first two (of four) episodes of Mr. Bates vs. the Post Office on PBS. Excellent series.
People tonight were singing its praises
-
And here's what they look like:
-
Not "pretty," but quite delish.
-
Vibes of healing for Vixmom and Jane.
-
The fireworks show tonight was most excellent.
-
A few views
-
Another
-
Three
-
It was like the finale went on for 10 minutes.
-
Good night, all.
-
Those were some great pictures, John!
-
Well, I have finally posted my Directed By review here:
https://www.amazon.com/review/R2WDPC1HBKJ2V9/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8 (https://www.amazon.com/review/R2WDPC1HBKJ2V9/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8)
I don't know if it's actually posted yet, but I could see it when I searched in my profile for the reviews that I've posted. :)
-
Well...
-
...since we're so close...
-
Gratuitous Post #350!! :D
-
Now that Incorruptible is done with, I have a little break until my next show.
-
Page twelve is a lovely way to start a week!
-
Those cashews look like little rat pellets.
-
Theater Artists Olympia is doing a new, original play called The King in Yellow.
-
Those cashews look like little rat pellets.
Fortunately, they don't taste like rat pellets.
-
Lovely review from George.
-
But he WILL be held accountable for SOMETHING. :)
-
The King in Yellow was written by Xander Layden who has acted in quite a few TAO shows.
-
New notes are up.
-
Lovely review from George.
Thanks, BK!
-
Up are new notes.
-
PAGE THIRTEEN DANCE!! ;D
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
Page thirteen is really something, but we should really get to page fourteen, don't you think?
-
How hard can it be?
-
All it takes is a little pluck.
-
A little vim.
-
A little verve.
-
A little moxie.
-
A little push.
-
I believe.
-
Gonna Build a Mountain!
-
Climb Ev'ry Mountain.
-
Ford or Studebaker every stream.
-
Follow every rainbow.
-
Till you find your dream.
-
It's not the impossible dream.
-
This time the dream's on me.
-
Is George eating a burrito all of a sudden?
-
Little Rat Pellets - that's the title of my next novel.
-
It's just on the horizon.
-
Just over the Harold Hill.
-
It's not that I'm superstitious or even just stitious.
-
But thirteen gives me the willies.
-
Page fourteen has a nice feel to it.
-
I'm feeling the fourteen.
-
Is there gaslighting going on?
-
See?
