Finding a nice storage unit vibes for DR GEORGE.
It IS a great song!
Willow, left, with Bear, right.
We had to give Willow up on that terrible week 9 years ago when we learned that the DH was losing his job AND the house where we were renting had been sold and we had to move out. Not a time I look back on with much fondness. But we are in a better place now.
Work?? I thought you were retired, DR John G.

We shall assume that proctoring = an activity distinct from, say, ushering at Proctors.
It's Classic Tuesday at the Bedford Playhouse. Tonight I'm seeing Witness (1985) on the big screen.
A friend’s 16-year-old cat, Evie, could use some HHW vibes. Her kidneys aren’t functioning.

I saw that opening night on the big screen. Loved it. Still do.
Vibes for Evie.
I just took the last Cipro.
Please, don't everyone start applauding and ovating all at once.

$20 an hour for this is too good to pass up.

My day yesterday was fraught with excitement (another word I haven't used in a very long time -- "fraught").
I picked up my mail, took a trunk load of disposables to the recycling center, visited my local optometrist to have my glasses repaired (one of those nose thingies had broken off), made an appointment for two weeks from now, then drove to McDonald's in Edgefield and got two quarter pounders, a large fries and a large Dr. Pepper.
Drove home, feasted, napped and the rest of the day just sort of slipped by.
I truly do not believe I can endure another day of such excitement, but it's early yet.

I imagine DR John is working in the garden before it gets hot.
I've found some options. :)

Wow! That's so cool!
And our musical director has thrown a big ol' monkey wrench into the first rehearsal - someone in his temple died and the celebration of life is on Monday and he wants to leave by four and I guess he thinks we can just move all those people earlier - which is not possible because those people needed to come from four on. So, now we have to scramble and see if he and all the post-four people can come on Tuesday. What he SHOULD do is honor his long-standing commitment because it involves about eight people.
I will, however, NOT - believe you me - miss the presentation of the new 4K restoration of North by Northwest this Sunday at noon, hosted by Robert Harris and Janet Maslin. No sirree.

Vibes that it all works out!
It’s 95 outside. It feels like it’s 58 in this testing room.
It’s supposedly 68, but it really feels colder.
Tomorrow is only a half day.
Actually 6:30 to 1:30.

Another bad rhyme from The Outsiders: dollar/father.
Huh?
Later than usual.
And now where'd he get to?
I do not care for page seven.
George is probably nursing a burrito.
