Well, you've read the notes, the notes were certainly notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows that are certainly cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: LUMINOUS!

Great pictures in the notes, BK!

~~~Vibes for a Modern Major Miracle for Sure!!~~~
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept rather well, although I spent too much time yesterday trying to charge my 12-year-macBook. The charger has died - I hope that's the case - and now the damned macBook is useless until I can afford to purchase a new charger. If the problem's the macBook itself, then God knows when I can afford another.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I slept pretty well, but as always, I could use more of it.
-
Today will be a busy one working on all the songs for the student recital I'm playing this weekend.
Somewhere in there I also need to get outside and cut the yard down to size. That activity has been erratic this summer, no thanks to the extreme heat and humidity and all the rain. The next few days look to be good.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
.
-
Wash that filet down with some prosecco.
-
Congrats to MR BK on his millstone.
-
I also enjoyed the photos in the notes.
-
Perhaps the painter is Mr Sammy Cahn.
-
I have to go buy some more makeup for the theatre.....they guys suddenly think instead of doing Something Rotten, we are presenting RuPaul's Drag Race.
-
Last night the cats and I watched David Lean's film of Blithe Spirit, which I hadn't seen in maybe ten years. I had forgotten how wonderful Margaret Rutherford is as Madame Arcati.
-
I also enjoyed the photos in the notes.
Ditto!
-
I just went down the IMDB rabbit hole looking over the "Blithe Spirit" credits.
-
I'm, guessing the photo is a painting by George Gershwin. Leonora Gershwin gave me a Gershwin sketch when I did Strike Up the Band around 1988.
-
Like everyone else, love all the photos in today's Notes.
-
~~~CONTINUED MULTIPLE MODERN MAJOR MIRACLE VIBES~~~ for the likes o' BK!!!!!
-
(that's MMMM)
-
Just like Campbell's soup.
-
In case you were wondering.
-
And I know you were.
-
I just know it.
-
I'm canny that way.

PAGE TWO

Never drink prosecco when eating a filet mignon! You should always drink reds with beef!
-
Today is eye doctor day and setting up my cataract surgery appointment.
-
Now to the important thing:
I am shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED!
DR springdraw has completely ignored the most important thing about today!
it is INTERNATIONAL LEFTHANDERS DAY!
That is correct. It's today. Why didn't DR stripstraw acknowledge this!
I am appalled. Yes! That's it! Appalled.
-
George, I really enjoyed your renovation photos in last night's posts!
-
Excellent Kritzerland show photos in the Notes!
-
Last night, BK wrote: "Speaking of salacious - how about The Randy Vicar and the Tsetse Fly."
If there's a possible variation on stories about a Randy Vicar, I suspect the new Vicar on GRANTCHESTER will be involved in some version of it.
The writing is still quite good, though, and the new star is quite excellent as an actor, but Randy Vicar seems to be the persona the writers have chosen as the direction to take the show.
-
This is important!
-
This is important!
:)
-
I am appalled. Yes! That's it! Appalled.
I join you in that appallation.
-
I wonder if they're appalled in Appalachia?
-
I wonder what the farmer and the cowman would think about that?
-
I wonder what the farmer and the cowman would think about that?
They should be friends by now.
-
I wonder if they're appalled in Appalachia?
APPALLED could be another misread title for APPLAUSE, couldn't it?
What is it that we feel today?
Appalled! Appalled!
There's a good chance
With Trump and Vance,
We'll be appalled!
-
I wonder what the farmer and the cowman would think about that?
Does anyone know - does Randy Rainbow write his videos himself, or does he have a staff that helps with that?
For example, his website has someone listed as
Executive Producer
Musical Director
Arranger
Pianist
-
Good morning, all.
-
Randy writes his stuff himself.
-
And he used to be Sondheim's dog walker
-
I slept mostly well. Some dreams involved JB and moving.
-
And he used to be Sondheim's dog walker
Wow! Do you know if Sondheim ever mentored him?
It's interesting to see that he was in the cast of the City Center Encores CALL ME MADAM!
-
And he used to be Sondheim's dog walker
Wow! Do you know if Sondheim ever mentored him?
It's interesting to see that he was in the cast of the City Center Encores CALL ME MADAM!
He tells all in his autobiography, which was fun.
-
Short answer is no. But Sondheim was a fan, which meant the world to Randy.
-
We’re on a first-name basis, don’cha know.
-
I’m going from having a lazy morning to an I’m late morning.
-
And he used to be Sondheim's dog walker

He tells all in his autobiography, which was fun.
On his site, https://www.randyrainbow.com
he does take "song requests" meaning gives a space to fill out if you have ideas
"What song would you like Randy to parody? - Enter the song title"
"Explain yourself! - Briefly describe your idea"
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.
-
Tree people are grinding up what they're cutting down. I don't hear anything of the cutting down, but the grinding up may as well be happening next to me.
-
From DR Jrand:
Both of my small packages were in my mailbox when i got home.
Excellent!
-
Sammy Cahn is a lyricist - the painting is by a composer with many classics in The Great American Songbook, with some B'way shows, and lots of movie songs. I found the painting itself fascinating.
-
DR George, WOW regarding your kitchen.
-
I slept mostly well. Some dreams involved JB and moving.
I read that as JB moving and wondered what that looked like-lol
-
THREE!
-
George where is all of your "clutter" going to go?
-
George, I really enjoyed your renovation photos in last night's posts!
Thanks, Freddie! There's still the clean-up, but that's pretty much all the demo that I'm doing.
-
This is important!

I know several left handers that I can send this to! ;D
-
Randy writes his stuff himself.
I'd read that.
-
And he used to be Sondheim's dog walker
I didn't know that!
-
DR George, WOW regarding your kitchen.
Thanks, Jane!
-
George where is all of your "clutter" going to go?
Some of it has been purged, and some kept.
-
I am intrigued by the identity of the artist.
Henry Mancini?
-
Well never mind.....that's not it.
Maybe Jimmy Van Heusen.
-
I used my left hand to do everything until I went to school and they made me switch hands.
I still eat left handed and use my computer mouse with my left hand and throw the ball left handed.
-
TOD:
Videos where shoplifters get caught.
SOME Trumpet idiots realizing they might be wrong - but those are few and far between.
And idiot Sov Citizens trying to "outsmart" the police and judges.
-
Not Van Heusen.
-
A/C man is here. Thankfully, hopefully, when he turned on the air it was blowing tepid - not hot like yesterday but definitely not cold like it should be - so hopefully that will enable him to trace the problem. I do wish it was blowing hot but I think he'll get the idea. He's on the roof now sussing it out.
-
This tree they're removing is HUGE.

Vibes that he figures it out - and fixes it!
-
A/C vibes for MR BK.

It's like a return to the glory years of the HHW Trivia contest.
-
Harold Arlen?
-
Back from a nice lunch with a friend.
-
DR FREDDIE that's just what I was thinking.
-
Harold Arlen?
And we have a winner!
-
Maybe we'll resurrect the trivia question.
-
Maybe we just will.
-
Sooner than later.
-
Not later than sooner.
-
Maybe we'll resurrect the trivia question.
Yay!
-
Do I win the painting? I really like it.

PAGE FIVE
-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-
Been watching various YouTube videos - lots of tours of Las Vegas homes, NY apartments, etc.
-
And, of course, some irritating videos, too. In a bit, I'll try and find some movie to watch.

That's so cool!
-
Had dinner with friends. Italian. Portions way too large. I ate all of the soup, a creamy cauliflower bisque, but I could not finish the smoked brisket lasagna or the Nutella torte.
-
I'm tired.
-
I may head to bed.
-
Good night, all.
-
Now it's page FIVE?
-
Not very sporting.
-
What is this page five malarky.
-
Finished with my viewing. A sequel I'd never seen to a movie I was and still am very fond of.
-
Then I started the second sequel. I'm only ten minutes in, though.
-
Hello!
-
BK, did you happen to ship my Directed By yet?
-
If not, wait until I get back from Japan or it may sit a long time here.
-
Ah, I was taking it to the post office tomorrow. I'll hold it until you're back.
-
Meantime, get me off this damn Geraldine Page.
-
Yes, I know you had lots of stuff going on! What a show!
-
We leave Saturday morning.
-
I’m trying to get my work squared away before we go.
-
My sister is in some adaptation of Spoon River Anthology in my old hometown in Indiana.
-
One day I’ll get to see her onstage. My niece is in this one as well.
-
I had just been reading about Charles Fox. Weird things that went on with him, Gimbel, and Lori Lieberman regarding the composition of “Killing me Softly.” Don McLean was also involved in the kerfuffle.
-
I do enjoy Fox’s music in the film Pufnstuf, though.
-
Directed by Hollingsworth Morse.
-
Whose 3rd wife was the 2nd Gladys Kravitz.
-
And that gets us to page 6.0
-
Hollingsworth Morse’s 2nd wife was actress Sally Eilers.
-
She was married 4 times, all guys whose names began with “H.”
-
Hoot, Harry Joe, Howard, and Hollingsworth, for those scoring at home.
-
Hollingsworth’s 1st wife was Wee Bonnie Baker of “Oh Johnny Oh!” fame.
-
I’ve given you all you need to know about the director of Pufnstuf and more.
-
Mama Cass has a nice turn in Pufnstuf, singing “Different.”
-
My sister is in some adaptation of Spoon River Anthology in my old hometown in Indiana.
That's really cool, Rodzinski!
-
~~~Break Legs Vibes for Rodzinski's Sister!!~~~
-
One day I’ll get to see her onstage. My niece is in this one as well.
Very nice!
-
Once again, George and his jam didn't even make a minute before midnight.
-
New notes are up.
-
~~~Break Legs Vibes for Rodzinski's Sister!!~~~
~~~And Niece!!~~~
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
I had no help.
-
There is but one photograph.
-
It may make certain people hungry.
-
She was married 4 times, all guys whose names began with “H.”
My friend Noel said that he dated four, count 'em, FOUR women named Kim...in a row! :o
-
It made me hungry.
-
But I'm done with food for today.
-
I just am.
-
Oh, I could order a sandwich, but I shan't.
-
It would be wrong.
-
Once again, George and his jam didn't even make a minute before midnight.
I was cleaning up a bit in my demolitioned kitchen for a bit tonight. ::)
-
It wouldn't be right.
-
Perhaps we need The Randy Vicar and the Pulled Muscle.
-
It wouldn't be right.
If sandwiching is wrong, I don't want to be right. ;)
-
That's a good one.
-
I was reading an article earlier and there was a brief mention that I do not care for page seven.
-
Perhaps we need The Randy Vicar and the Pulled Muscle.
Speaking of sandwiches, is there a Randy Vicar and the Pulled Pork?? ;D
-
But at least we're here.
-
Post.
-
Lord knows at least I've been there.
-
It's getting randy around here.
-
Also randy is Randy Rainbow.
-
Also randy is Randy Rainbow.
I've heard that, too. ;)
-
Hold tight while I change the topic.
-
Not Randy Bachman.
-
Of the Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive.
-
There's also Mama, a Rainbow (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm13xzazcHk).
-
Reading Rainbow
