I like two out of three of your recipes DR JOHN G.
I shall leave you to guess which one I will skip.

Oh, I know. I was just making a The Fantasticks reference.
Randy Rainbow has a new song. I see it in my recommendations, but I haven't listened to it yet.
Update: It's brilliant.

Fortunately, I was able to guess the correct word in time!

It is indeed.
May your surgery go smoothly and successfully, and may your recuperation and recovery be tolerable...
Thanks for the birthday greetings, BK!
As already stated, I'm not one to be bothered by something like that. My day was full o' matinee and other stuff, and I wasn't even online the rest of the day.
I'm here for just a short time now, because we got THAT WHITE STUFF and I need to go out soon and start working to clear it. The dreaded 7:30 a.m. rehearsal is now at 10:30 a.m. And so it goes.

THAT is the tale as old as time.
In other news.
Soylent Green Is People.
Unfortunately, Doug Haverty, who, as you know, does all the stuff for the Kritzerland site, has been in Florida with his wife much more than he was supposed to be - believe me, it's caused problems for him in other ways, but his wife had surgery and he had to be there for all of it and some of her recovery.
And because of the old software he uses for his site - he refuses to upgrade to the latest version because apparently they made lots of changes to it and he doesn't want to learn it, which is silly - and because that old software is only on his main computer here and because for whatever reason he can't get it on the laptop he uses in Florida, nor can he get it on a hard drive to use from there - he explained the reason, which made no sense to me - he can't do it until he's back in early January, when we WILL announce it. There are titles he has to take off-sale because we don't have anymore and he can't do that either - it's ridiculous and I told him he has to solve the problem. Will he? Doubtful.

I hope she is recovering well.
Mooshing it together was as disgusting as I remembered it from when my mother had me do it.

I told you I was lazy.
Well, I don't eat pasta any more because of the carbs. So I put them on a salad.
One of my favorite things to fix for myself is liver and onions and bacon.
But I doubt anyone wants the recipe.
I must say, while the meatloaf wouldn't win any beauty prizes, it was really good - I ate half and saved the half for tomorrow. That is, unless I eat it tonight.
HEB, the local grocery chain, has introduced a Spurs-inspired ice cream. The label is in black and silver, not pajama blue. It’s called Courtside Chocolate Crunch, a chocolate malt ice cream with crunchy bits and a chocolate syrup swirl.
I quite enjoyed the sample I had.
Yes. A Meatball Salad.

I hear Meat Loaf is People, too - well, a person.
I went to the doctor and all the skin things I was worried about were not concerning to my doctor. As skin is her specialty, I will call this a win.

Monday evening greetings! Today I made a batch of caramel corn for holiday gifting (and our enjoyment). Because I have a cold I wore a mask and because I’m still shedding some hair I wore a (new) disposable shower cap. I looked like I was about to perform surgery.

I think it'll be a big surprise.

It's a kitten, right?
How did you guess, DR John G.?
Does anyone else play connections?
This Kilban classic seems a propos:

last night No health issues last night, and then I slept very wwll, so that's pretty good, I think. My anxieties continue with grief last night from my co-writer about the CD release of Moonshine and Mistletoe, and I am not happy about the situation. I'm fighting the impulse to reply with inquiries on why there was no production this season after last year's success.
Now and then.....not so much now since I am watching my avoirdupois.....I used to make this.

I think 7-Up cake would be a lovely finish to a meatloaf meal.
Or gingerbread cheesecake. Are you willing, DR Laura? ;D

And by that I mean the meatloaf is in the oven and the mixing bowl in soaking in the sink......headed for the dishwasher in a bit.
The mixing bowl is the one my mother always used for mixing everything.....she got it from her mother.....so I kind of like the history of using it.
I shall probably give it to one of my sisters soon......
