Well, you've read the notes, the notes plotzed in rhythm, and now it is time for you to post until the plotzing in rhythm cows come home.

And the word of the day is: LAMBENT!

Congrats to both George and John G on your truly magnificent millstone in last night's posts!
-
Can they be called Twin millstones, even though they're different numbers of postings.
-
Vibes that BK's lighting designer communicates real soon.
-
Good morning, all!
-
The alarm rang at 5:30 but I was having such a good time playing with Thatch that I turned it off and stayed in bed. We couldn't coax Annabelle into joining us, and Stella, whom I will occasionaly wake in the middle of the night to find sleeping next to me, strangely prefers not to join in the fun. As soon as I decided to get up, Annabelle jumped from the cat tree to the bed, where she remained aloof. As soon as I was dressed and moving about, she and Thatch took over the teacart: Thatch on the top shelf, and Annabelle on the bottom.
-
When I pushed the cart to the kitchen, Thatch moved to the dresser and Annabelle had to be forcibly removed. Now that we have all had breakfast, she's peacefully sleeping next to me.
-
I have no plans for today. I think I will declare a ME day, read my mystery and do little as possible. At some point, today or to want to watch Wicked, but I need two and a half hours to sit through it.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Up early to collect trash.
-
1941, or what I saw of it, is the worst comedy I can remember. I’m sure there are many others.
-
I just got an interesting Fascebook message from Modern Cat:
Hi Larry, thank you for reaching out. We apologize for the delayed response.
Your book sounds adorable and full of adventure! We’d love to learn more. Could you please send us your email so we can discuss further?

That's great! Hoping this book will bring you lots of coverage and interviews! I'd bet your publisher is figuring out some events for you.

A gracious good Saturday morning to all and each of you.
It's another beautiful day in the CSRA. We will be having warmer temperatures the next few days. More like Spring than winter.
That's just as well, too, because all the peach orchards are in full bloom. If a major cold snap were to hit us, the peach crop would be ruined.
Somehow, I can imagine it and also imagine Trump blaming Biden for it.
-
I received my 4K/UHD/Blu-ray of "Wicked" yesterday.
That isn't remarkable until you take into account that I had pre-ordered it Dec. 23, 2024. I checked up on it two days ago and saw that Amazon had adjusted delivery day to June 4. Meanwhile, if I ordered it that day, I could have it the next day.
So, I reordered it and cancelled the first order.
Isn't that the oddest thing?!!
-
Miss Lindsey Graham had a major hissy fit on Facebook yesterday.
Using a photo of himself visiting the area where thousands of acres burned in northeast South Carolina, he railed against the "liberal left" who made no issue of the fires or the heroism of the fire fighters and, instead, were only concerned with all the "fine work" being done by DOGE.
I was so irritated that I gave him a HUGE piece of whatever mind I had left. Almost all the replies were in a similar vein, too. That included the DOGE abolition of funding for fire fighters and his beloved Trump turning his back on climate issues which caused the damned fire.
Graham is a s**thead, plain and simple.
-
Good morning.
-
For Lent I deleted all the games on my phone.
-
Then yesterday I deleted Facebook from my phone, because I was watching those stupid reels.
-
Now my phone can only be used for calls and texts. And looking at news, I guess.
-
Today is the day I go to a wedding and my friend and her daughter use my Wicked tickets. They are so excited.
-
Good morning.
Good morning, Laura. You've been a busy bee deleting stuff from your phone.
Alas, alack, alarum, I fear I'd be very sad to delete some of my games, especially Solitaire and Vita Mahjong.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Slept in just a wee bit this morning, which was most welcome.
-
A matinee today, and it's goodbye to a mermaid.

Excellent!
-
We will travel for a memorial service in a couple of weeks, with some layovers. I guess I will people watch.
-
Like we used to do before phones took over our lives.

Interesting customer service!
-
Time change tonight, everyone*. Prepare to spring the HELL forward!
*Well, maybe not everyone. I never remember how this works or who does what. Indiana? Arizona?
-
I listened to Nicole Wallace and Canadian reporter Suzanne Craig disciss Trump's Canada annexation threats last night. There was discussion about Trump wanting access to Canada's minerals. I think his motives are much more nefarious.
I think he wants to make Canada a state to get his hands on Canada's treasury. His DOGE-bags aren't trimming enough to pay for more tax cuts for the billionaires.
-
Congratulations to John G on your new millstone!
-
Congratulations to George on your new millstone!
-
Elmore that email sounds promising, I hope. It leads to wonderful opportunities
-
Yesterday I had a closing first thing in the morning
-
On the way there I was quite pleased to find no traffic and I zipped along merrily
-
Apparently a bit too merrily
-
And a bit too zippy
-
At least according to the state trooper who stopped to have a little chat with me
-
It’s been decades since I was stopped for such an offense
-
I haven’t even read the paperwork yet, I dread to see the fine
-
The day did get better after that however
-
Back to the office for a reasonably productive day
-
Then I caught a train to the city where I met a friend for dinner at the TickTock Diner
-
Then we took the 1 up to 96th where we met another friend and saw a filmed production of the Scottish play starring David Tennant
-
It was shown at the Leonard Nimoy theatre at Symphony Space
-
I haven’t even read the paperwork yet, I dread to see the fine
Oh no!
-
Afterwards we bid adieu to our friend who drive back to Wappenger Falls
-
And we two zipped back to Penn
-
There she headed to NJ Transit, and I to the LIRR
-
As is our won’t we all texted when we arrived safely home
-
We all made it to our respective destinations within minutes of midnight, and one another .
-
Tonight I have a chili cook off at church
-
Congrats to DR JOHN G and DR GEORGE on their millstones.
-
Have fun today DR LAURA.
-
Saturday is a good ME day.

Good morning, friends.

Congratulations, George.

TOD:
Well just this week on the Filmrise app I saw a movie called "Fairy Tales" directed by Harry Hurwitz.

-
I could not find my fellow cleanup volunteers, so I am having brunch.
-
I did walk around the university campus where the meeting place was supposed to be. The red bud trees are in bloom. The mountain laurel is perfuming the air. And I met a nice lady who feeds and fixes the feral cats on campus.
-
Scrambled eggs, grits, fried green tomatoes, praline bacon and avocado
-
DR vixmom, how was the filmed production? It sounds like a lovely evening. You could have even come to visit me.
-
I think we should all show up at the chili cook-off.
-
Great news, Elmore.
-
I think we should all show up at the chili cook-off.
I missed the one at my church a few weeks back. So I am ready.
-
Hot out of the fryer
-
I look forward to an evening of relaxing and probably watching something. Must decide on something worthy. Tomorrow is a ME day, during which some things around the house must be done, but that will still be good.
-
DR John G., I shall require a pot of chicory coffee with that.
-
Actually, I should try to get to the closing matinee tomorrow of a local production of Mamet's American Buffalo that's receiving accolades.
But ... we'll see.
-
DR John G., I shall require a pot of chicory coffee with that.
It’s available.
-
How are your digits today, ChasSmith?
-
Every day is a ME day … in Maine.
-
I have been unlucky enough to see Don’t Worry We’ll Think of a Title. It is tremendously bad, but fascinatingly so.
-
DR Iris, thank you for explaining how fast Hantavirus progresses. I thought the earlier stages lasted longer.
-
DR John, vibes that the trash doesn’t include a dead body.
-
Congratulations John on reaching 99,000 plus posts.
-
DR George fingers crossed that they can do the work on Tuesday, and that it won't cost too much.
-
Congratulations George on reaching 145,000 plus posts

Back to the last half hour of King Lear.

I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep.

Greeted with a photo of our actress who was in a car accident. No way she's doing the show. So, now we hunt for someone who can learn blocking, dialogue and a complicated song in a week and a half.
-
Oh no!

Is that gal who played the teenager in Brain From Planet X available?

I somehow missed the news that today was Tesla Takedown Protest day. A young friend went to one today wearing a pin her daughter made that said I support Ukraine. She was extremely nervous about going and it turned out to be a great experience. I'm glad she went to a smaller protest that stayed calm.
-
The closest Tesla plant near her was an hour away. She said she drove the farthest of the other protesters.

Keith got Wordle in four today.

May have found a solution - not optimal, but would work. I'm also waiting to hear back from a couple of folks.

Good night, friends.

Starting the director’s cut of Nosferatu. I think BK might have been too kind in his assessment. It really is visually uninteresting. Maybe because it tries so hard. Herzog’s remake was remarkable. This is twaddle. Twaddle dumb and Tweedle dumber?
-
Dancing was fun tonight.
-
We’re learning Boots on the Ground in the line dances as well as Last Cheater’s Waltz. Both are easy.
-
The winds outside are really picking up.
-
I could only take so much of Nosferatu.
-
I'm exhausted.
-
Good night, all.
-
Dinner sounds good. Have a nice evening.
Thanks, Jane. It was good.
-
The play was very well done. It's a literally word-for-word transcription (including ums and uhs, etc.) of an interview with Reality Winner (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reality_Winner) (her real name) when it was found out that she had leaked classified information.

We are a far distance from page eight.

I bought some earlier.
