Well, you've read the notes, the notes soldiered through, and now it is time for you to post until the soldiering through cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: GUSTATORY!

Topic of the Day: I've never been to a classic Jewish deli. ::)
-
BK, that's too bad about the miscommunication over the time the substitute pianist was called for - but really great that the show even with the sub pianist went well and the audience really enjoyed it.
-
George, that's so exciting about the show performing at World Con in August!
-
John G, those were most enjoyable recipes in last night's posts, fun to read even though maybe not to eat.
-
TOD: favorites are blintzes and knishes and matzoh ball soup.
Meat dishes and sandwiches really seem to vary depending on the deli. Potato pancakes can be quite terrific, also depending in the deli.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I wanted to sleep in. Three cats said, no you don't.
-
I have a new orchestration student, so today I need to look over the score he sent me before we meet on Tuesday afternoon via FaceTime.
-
Doug should be back from his Ballet West meeting in Salt Lake City, so I hope I hear from him today, aqd I really hope the news is posirive.
-
Jesus! Does that Pink Salad recipe sound disgusting.
-
I'm happy the shows went well last night for both BK and DR George.
-
TOD
Matzoh ball soup
Stuffed cabbage
Potato pancakes
Noodle kugel
Rice pudding
I do miss Artie's, but Zabar's matzoh ball or chicken noodle soup is a nice alternate.
-
Good morning.
-
Leonard decided he loved me. At 3 a.m. So I've been up.
-
I made a clean out the fridge breakfast. Onions, red bell pepper, delicata squash, broccoli, carrots, green beans, and probably other stuff I don't remember at the moment.
-
DH will pick up today's box soon, and I'll begin all over again.
-
Thanks George.
-
DR Jrand, thanks the continued vibes.
-
While information was a bit confusing with all the changes, we had a lovely day in Santorini.
-
DR Singdaw I hope your day went as well as possibe
-
DR John thank you for tat bit of history regarding Heraklion.
-
Good morning, all.
-
DR Laura I agree with you about Miracle Whip :P
-
TOD:
Cabbage rolls
Matzo ball soup
Gherkins
Knishes
-

-
So, the earthquakes have stopped in Santorini?
-
DR George, I'm glad your show is going well.
-
Bruce, I'm glad you had a good show under the circumstances.
-
Leonard decided he loved me. At 3 a.m. So I've been up.
Awww.
-
So, the earthquakes have stopped in Santorini?
I think so. The funicular has not reopened yet.
-
Keith got Wordle in three.
-

That's wonderful!
-
Interesting TOD considering tonight is the first night of Passover.
-
Yes, happy Passover to all who are celebrating!

Pastrami.

Hi, Vixmom.
-
I cannot see any notes after April 9!

I’m heading into Lehman College in the Bronx tonight to see David Zayas and his wife Emmy winner for The Bear Liza Colon-Zayas perform a one night only show as a benefit
-
I will give a full repor tomorrow

Off to the hills.
Enjoy!

Send them to El Salvador!

Artie’s no longer exists? Happy memories of potato pancakes with you there, Larry.
-
Could Page 3 before 1 pm (Eastern) be possible?
-
It's not that outrageous a possibility
-
It seems quite possible
-
Page Three
-
Watching some hockey.
Had my shower and picked out my clothes for tonight.
Hopefully it will be fun!
-
Yes, happy Passover to all who are celebrating!
Yes. happy Passover to all those celebrating.
-
DR Jack thank you for sharing the photo. That is our ship, and luckily for us the only one there.
-
Thank you DR Freddie.

Artie’s no longer exists? Happy memories of potato pancakes with you there, Larry.
Artie's folded and stayed empty for some time. Then its interior became one of the sets for The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
-
Listening to Gabor Szabo’s “Bacchanal” on vinyl.

Now I’m listening to the bro-sis combo, Nino Tempo & April Stevens on ATCO Records.
You haven’t lived until you’ve heard “Baby Weemus.”
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight and a half hours of sleep.
-
Tonight is the first night of Passover? We'll probably have a lighter crowd - although there was half a house as of yesterday, so who knows.
-
KevinH, which performance of DRAT! THE CAT! are you seeing?
-
Should I bring some herring to the show tonight?
-
I'm mentioned right at the top of this interview with Bill Bickley about The Partridge Family.

George, that's so exciting about the show performing at World Con in August!
Thanks, Freddie! A couple of people who are involved with this year's World Con had been involved with TAO in the past.
They actually came to us a couple of years ago asking if we'd remount it for them, and we were able to!
-
I'm happy the shows went well last night for both BK and DR George.
Thanks, Larry!
-
DR George, I'm glad your show is going well.

Really nice!
-
In honor of today’s TOD, I had to order the smoked pastrami on rye.
-
I don’t understand why it didn’t rotate.
-
On my way.
-
On my way.
Have a great time tonight, Jrand!
-
Good ... uh, something, all.
What time is it, anyway?
Oh. 8)
-
I am back from a kids audition, and an open call one in which ... I swear ... I was sightreading 75% of the songs set in front of me.
-
My recovery period is about to commence ... with pizza and wine.
-
DR Laura, I *LOVE* clean-out-the-refrigerator meals.
-
DR Rodzinski, I had gotten to love Artie's after several visits when the Bad People pulled the rug out from under us. It's a disgusting loss for that part of the Upper West Side.
-
DR Elmore, does Zabar's have a sit-down-and-eat area or is it all takeout?
-
It's good to hear that no blood was shed in the show, but I'm aghast and agog at the lack of communication regarding arrival time. I'm a chronically early person anyway, but that is astoundingly inconceivable to me.
-
Saturday evening greetings! It’s been a quiet week in
Lake Wobegon Monroe, OH. I’ve gotten sucked into rewatching THE CROWN while I knit a blanket for our grandson (due next month).
-
I shall now be on my way to the theater.
-
Slow posting day.
-
I went to two wineries today. Both in Kerrville.
-
One, Turtle Creek Vineyard, was a pleasant surprise.
-
It was situated on a creek with plenty of water in it.
-
Saw a hummingbird, two geese and some purple martins.
-
I had some really good gelato today: dark chocolate and amaretto chocolate chip.
-
Dancing tonight was exhausting.
-
I’m now trying to chill to the rest of Mufasa.
-
But it’s too hot to chill.
-
I think we can make it
-
To page five
-
With a gentle push
-
And an apple
-
Five!
-
By your leave or have an apple.
-
Starting an underloved thriller called Twilight.
-
Good evening.
-
Paul Newman, Gene Hackman, Susan Sarandon, James Garner, a topless Reese Witherspoon, Liev Schrieber and more.
-
Grandson and his parents dropped by tonight. They took home some produce, luckily, so there's not quite so much here now.
-
They came to sign the title to their car, which has been sitting in my driveway since June, when it broke down for the final time. They are arranging to donate it.
-
The script is by Robert Benton and Richard Russo, two writers I generally like.
-
They took my car that day, and it's still going strong. I love Corollas.
-
Imagine me driving a pickup truck.
-
Congratulations on losing the yard art, Laura.
-
Hackman and Newman together. So good.
-
I listened to Operation Mincemeat tonight. For the first two-thirds of what I heard, the score is largely quickstep numbers in a 40s style. The last few songs, though, sound like 90s power ballads screamed for all their worth.
-
Listening to Imani Perry’s Black in Blues. It’s a history of the role blue has played in the lives of blacks.
-
It’s only occasionally interesting.
-
I have nothing else I really want to listen to.
-
And I have 12 books on hold.
-
I’m ready for bed.
-
Next post is an interesting number. One to end on.
-
Here she is, world!
-
I am on the train
-
Having transferred at Jamaica
-
After getting off the train from Grand Central
-
After taking the 4 from the Bronx
-
I'll be home tomorrow
-
Since it's only 6 minutes until tomorrow
-
The show turned out to be a reading rather a fully staged play but I enjoyed it very much
-
Safe travels, Vixmom!
-
Safe blanket-making, Ginny!
-
Slow posting day.
I'm at Lakewood Playhouse in the middle of a show.
-
What's everyone else's reason??
;)
-
Oh, look! It's Page Six!
-
Saturday evening greetings! It’s been a quiet week in Lake Wobegon Monroe, OH. I’ve gotten sucked into rewatching THE CROWN while I knit a blanket for our grandson (due next month).
Congrats on the new familial addition!
-
Saw a hummingbird, two geese and some purple martins.
That's really cool!
-
I had some really good gelato today: dark chocolate and amaretto chocolate chip.
Yummy!
-
Midnight is nigh.
-
They came to sign the title to their car, which has been sitting in my driveway since June, when it broke down for the final time. They are arranging to donate it.
That's really cool, Laura. My sister donated her previous car to a local organization called Wolf Haven (https://wolfhaven.org/), which is:
...an internationaly recognized wolf sanctuary that has rescued and provided a lifetime home for over 325 displaced captive-born animals since 1982 under the mission "to conserve and protect wolves and their habitat."
-
The show is over for tonight, and we only have tomorrow's matinee left!
-
My sister and two of her friends, as well as my friends Shelly and David came tonight!
-
There were also several theater friends up from Olympia seeing the show tonight, so that was fun!
-
Otherwise, we had a good performance and a good audience.
-
It took them a little bit to warm up to the humor, but then once they did, they laughed and laughed (appropriately).
-
After the show, my friend David and I went to dinner at a local restaurant here in Lakewood and chatted and caught up.
-
He's also planning on seeing Into the Woods down in Centralia when that goes up.
-
Now, I'm still parked in the restaurant's parking lot, ketchuping on the posts before I head home, since it's after midnight and I'm still in Lakewood!
-
So...to ketchup on the posts.
-
Here she is, world!
Here's Rose John's 99999th! ;D
-
Having transferred at Jamaica
What? You were all the way to the Caribbean just to transfer trains?? :o
-
;)
-
I have ketchuped all over the posts and must now hie myself back to Tumwater.
-
Page SIX???
-
Google Maps says that it should only take me about 40-45 minutes to get home (while avoiding the road construction), so that's not too bad, so I'm off!
Be back later!
-
At this hour?
-
Not very sporting.
-
Ridic.
-
Sick.
-
Not slick.
-
No shtick.
-
Just home from the show, which went well save for the TWENTY no-shows, audience-wise. I just don't get it. If I were the theater, I would not make any reservations without payment up front.
-
Nice audience - not the most vocal, but lots of cheering at the end.
-
Leading man is still on the tail end of his cold and actually sounded like he had a cold - last night, I really couldn't hear it. He got through the show fine and I cut all the kissing stuff as I do NOT want my leading lady getting whatever it was. I just restaged a couple of them and it all worked fine and at the matinee they won't do the kissing stuff either.
-
Had someone who went to high school with me come up and chat - I didn't really remember her, but she was very sweet.
-
Now I must write some damn notes.
-
A few of us went out for food after - I had some sweet potato fries and a small piece of pie with NO extra whipped cream.
-
It was fun.
-
And NOW to the notes.
-
Without further ado.
-
Or Ado Annie.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
They did not write me.
-
Even though I wrote them.
-
Not very sporting.
-
Oh well.
