Well, you've read the notes, the notes had photos, and now it is time for you to post until the photographed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CONVIVIAL!
-
Wordle 1,684 3/6
⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜
⬜🟨🟩🟨⬜
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
:D
-
A question for BK: did you get my email? :)
-
I did, thanks!
-
While the KFC breast was good while I was eating it, I am really nauseous right now.
-
Super nauseous.
-
Hugely nauseous.
-
Just popped a Pepcid.
-
I did, thanks!
Great!
-
Wrote more pages and am just a page shy of 170 - I'll do that one right after futzing and finessing in the morning.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I finished my work for Joshie yesterday, so I had no reason to be up early. I cuddled with the cats for an hour before I dragged my butt out of bed.
-
Those photos make me want to see the show.
-
DR John G, I may have a job for you. Good luck with your interview this morning.
-
Have you heard the new name for Kristi Gnome? Twatzi.
-
Now that my work for Joshie is finished, I can retrn to the ballet. I'm also taking my time working on my taxes and revising my last draft of the sequel to Annabelle & Thatch.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I don’t remember sending you a photo, BK. Might it have been somebody else?
-
DR John G, I may have a job for you. Good luck with your interview this morning.
Send it my way.
-
Larry, is there a ballet in Annabelle and Thatch?
-
Or an animated movie?
-
And the word of the day is: CONVIVIAL!
I remember Convivial Vance in I Love Lucy.
-
No groaning at HHW. Please.
-
John G, sending you job interview vibes!
-
Loved the show photos in today's notes!
-
Loved the show photos in today's notes!
I did, too.
-
Thanks for all the vibes. I need to get moving.
-
Great show photos in the notes.
-
Continued writing vibes for MR BK.
-
Page Two
-
Interview vibes for DR JOHN G.
-
It is -12 degrees with a feels like of -8 degrees......whatever that means.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Getting a busy and crazy start to the day here. Got a rehearsal later, actually a coaching session with a band director and student at one of the high schools where we'll be in the pit together playing PIPPIN in March. He's supposedly a talented kid who'll be using MainStage for keyboard patches for his first time, so we're having us a little introductory session to all of that.
-
Last night's rehearsal was fine, but the short drive there was horrible, with a light snowfall (because we needed more after the sixteen inches, right?) and business hour traffic and roads still very messy. That 15-minute drive in normal times took 35 or 40 minutes this time.
-
The pictures look great. Next up! Video? :)
-
I love PIPPIN!
-
Made it with a half hour to spare. I guess some people just aren’t driving yet.
-
I love PIPPIN!
Me too.
-
I hope they don’t cut all the sex because it’s a high school production.
-
I love PIPPIN!
The original Broadway production, which I saw twice, was so amazingt. I had so many friends who loved the cast recording and hated the show, and I loved both.
-
Larry, is there a ballet in Annabelle and Thatch?
I don't see either a ballet on an "A&T on Ice!" situation, but, if I had my druthers, I would love either a Saturday morning series or a movie like the ones with Jason Lee and Alvin and the Chipmunks, something with live actors as Daddy, Val, Detective Kibble, and the neighbors with A & T and the pigeons animated.
I tried to add a photo; it wouldn't work.
-
Let's try again.
Nope! I get this message: The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.
-
The interview is over. It was what it was. I answered in complete sentences, which is something I worry about. I was interested in what they had to say, demonstrated listening skills and asked questions based on what they said. Still, it was shorter than I expected. It was like at USAA where the interview featured a set of questions that all interviewees faced.
-
So, I have picked up an afternoon shift at a high school.
-
DR John, vibes they were pleased with your interview.
-
From John,
I should wind down by reading a little, but I’m not thrilled by the half dozen books I am reading now.
LOL, that is too many books to read at once. If you aren't thrilled, then put the book down. Life is too short :)
-
DR George, it is nice that Inge was able to go with you and find her husbands resting place.
-
George, thanks for the congrats to Keith x 2.
-
I saw the nice photos in the notes today, without having to click on "reload".
-
I still do not know what the missing photos were from yesterday since not a single person would tell me where they were ;D
-
I suppose the photos could have been from the night before.
-
Comic writer Paul Rudnick says these are the best scenes in the new documentary flop Melania:
- Her Mom telling her, "You'll never marry a rich obese elderly man! Stop dreaming!"
- Melania arriving in NYC with just a suitcase and a letter from Jeffrey Epstein
- Modeling an acrylic sweater
- That magical night she signed the first pre-nup
-
Perhaps AI would be the way to adapt Annabelle & Thatch.

-
I'm up, I'm up - eight and a half hours of sleep.
-
I'll have our tech guy check on the photos.
-
Sorry, it was Singdaw who sent the photo.
-
I attempted to post a photo.
First photo "Your file is too large. The maximum attachment size allowed is 256 KB."
Second photo: "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."
-
Have you heard the new bane for Kristi Gnome? Twatzi.
:))
-
Loved the show photos in today's notes!
I did, too.
As did I!
-
Oh, look! It's Page Three!!!
-
Let's try again.
Nope! I get this message: The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.
Oh, no! :o
-
George, what happens if you attempt to post a photo?
George is gone, so anyone?
-
DR Jrand, your photo was the only one I could see yesterday. Was that from Facebook?
-
Photos won't work until the fix them - they're working on it. When you switch to an entirely new server, certain functions need to be reset - it's very complicated and we're lucky we came back mostly working fine.
-
Had a tri-salad from Uncle Bernie's deli. Pretty good.
-
And sixteen bucks cheaper than Art's.
-
Yes, you read that right.

Wrote three new pages after futzing and finessing and in ten minutes will try to write at least three more, then a break, than three or four more.
-
Keith got Wordle in four.
-
Yes DR JANE my photo was a Facebook link.
-
We did finally get mail today.
I am waiting for one more document before I can do my taxes.
-
Notice that I didn't say waiting PATIENTLY.
-
My forearms are a bit sore from the shoveling....had to take a WalMart Tylenol.

I think an animated musical would be great.
-
I had a great and lengthy phone call with our Elmore tonight. We need to do that more often.
-
It was a cherry on top of the sundae of a good day.
-
Had a seriously good dinner tonight with smoked salmon, a braised lamb shank and a scoop of heavenly espresso gelato.
-
Getting to and home from the restaurant was a nightmare. The exit to the restaurant and the following exit were both closed, so I had to go five miles of unmoving traffic to get around the mess. My first exit home was also closed. The second exit, a mile later, was open.
-
PAGE I AM NUMBER FOUR DANCE!!
Great page turner. Did you read the book or see the movie?

Groan!

I did manage to get close to half of one of my books read. That’s Loving by Henry Green. I mentioned it earlier this year and got bored by it. But I am now only a few pages from the end.
-
I’m also making headway in Clea, the last volume of Lawrence Durrell’s Alexandria Quartet. It’s dated. And none of the characters come convincingly to life. It’s all lengthy diatribes that all sound the same, no matter who’s saying. And some of what he says is silly or tommyrot. But I have made up my mind to finish the verbal masturbation.

Can’t post a photo.

Bummer.

I started reading and was quickly bored. I haven't returned it to the library yet. Maybe I should just return it.

Yup.

Yes, a bummer.

You're all going to have to be patient with the photos and avatars till we're fully updated to the latest versions of everything. The board will have to go off-line one more time. The complication has always been that the board and the thing in which I write the notes are tied together and each update has to be done manually and they could only get halfway on the new server. So, they put a copy of the forum (board) and the notes thing on another server - they will do the last half of the updates there, then move that fully updated version to the new server and then we'll never have the update issues again, they'll be able to get into the folders that are causing some to have avatar issues (I can see everyone's avatars and so can others - it's random), and the folder for the photos, and fix those settings. We're all very lucky we're as far along as we were, and I shudder to think of what the cost of all this is going to be, but it had to be done.
-
I'd intended to start writing at two but got waylaid. Then I was going to start at three, but sat on the couch and the next thing I knew the phone was ringing and it was six. Damn.
-
I forgot to mention that I did a search for Green and the book, and nothing. Now a search brings up the current posts. This is why I get frustrated with search for old posts.
-
Good evening.
-
Test.
-
Just knocked out almost seven pages. Only three more for ten but I'm gonna try for twelve or more, since I'm in a dialogue heavy sequence.
-
OMG! Been unable to post here for days. Have to destroy my old bookmark for this page which was infected with bitcoin malware.
-
Dialogue pages move along much more quickly. Will definitely pass page 180 for sure and I'd like to get closer to 183. That way, the Muse can get at least ninety pages tomorrow or Friday.
-
Ok let’s test new bookmarked HHW…
-
Interesting. Can't see Rodzinski's avatar - that's a first since moving. Anyway, it'll all get fixed. Glad to see Rodzinski is back with us.
-
And yes, if you've bookmarked us, get rid of that and do a new bookmark.
-
Ok I’m back. Weird. I can see my own avatar.
-
The past few days I could read but if I tried to post, it said I wasn’t allowed.
-
Seems to be random. When I go into your settings I'm seeing upload an avatar - but if you can see it, then it's uploaded. Check your forum settings and tell me what it says under avatar.
-
I can't see Rodzinski either. But I'm glad to see him posting.
-
It was a darn good day today.
-
And it will have to end soon as I am tired.
-
Good night, all.
-
Back from the Met in HD. Mason Bate's opera The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay was stunning and really, really beautiful. Such lyrical music!
-
The story is so pertinent to what is happening in our world right now. I haven't read the original novel.
-
But the mixing of the various worlds, musically and visually, was really inventive.
-
The music was modern but very easy to assimilate.
-
I am easily assimilated.
-
It's way past my bedtime.
-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-

Agreed! :D

Very cool!

PAGE I AM NUMBER FOUR DANCE!!
Great page turner. Did you read the book or see the movie?
Neither. It was just a random picture from a Google search. ::)
-
Can’t post a photo.
I can't post a photo either, but I can see everyone's avatar.
-

Welcome back, Rodzinski!
Glad to be back. All my profile settings look the same to me, and my avatar is there. Maybe it will fix itself in time.
-
Now everyone’s avatars disappeared, so who knows? I’ll give BK’s team time to sort things out.
-
Page five? Really?
-
Everything will be fixed.
-
Including me.
-
Meanwhile - page five???
-
Meanwhile - page SIX???
-
Not very sporting.
-
Has me snorting.
-
And going courting.
-
But not aborting.
-
Although I'm sorting.
-
Let's not be thwarting.
-
Or exporting.
-
Or retorting.
-
I haven't left the house today, not even to check the mail. ::)
-
Tomorrow, I'm working concessions for Harlequin Productions' production of Wait Until Dark (https://harlequinproductions.org/show/wait-until-dark/).
-
I know at least one actor in the show, so it'll be fun to see him.
-
On the website, it has this description:
She can’t see them—but she knows they’re there. In this white-knuckle thriller, Susan Hendrix, newly blind, seems an easy mark when three ruthless criminals invade her Greenwich Village apartment. Forty-seven years after its 1966 premiere, Jeffrey Hatcher has adapted Frederick Knott’s (Dial ‘M’ for Murder) original script with crackling, claustrophobic, and calculated efficiency. When the lights go out, survival comes down to nerve, instinct, and the element of surprise.
In a Harlequin first, Wait Until Dark will be presented in monochrome, creating the illusion that the audience is watching a black-and-white film noir unfold live onstage.
:)
-
Wait Until Dark did not need Jeffery Hatcher's help. It's a perfectly constructed play, with great dialogue. Hatcher is a hack and is making a career out of doing this. His Dial 'M' adaptation doesn't help that play either.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
