Well, you've read the notes, in a pig's eye you've read the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently lobbying to change the expression to "in a cow's eye." We wish them luck.

And the word of the day is: MISOGAMY!
-
Yesterday, I was planning on cleaning up, but I didn't. ::) I could possible clean up some today, but before I can do that, I'm meeting with TCB and Jane (and Jane's husband Keith) and possibly others at Anthony's Restaurant in Tacoma for a mini-HHW-get-together!! ;D
AND I have clean clothes! I may not have cleaned my house, but I got laundry done. :)
-
And I ordered Kevin Spirtas' DVD!
-
And now, I'm going to go to sleep. Good night! 8)
-
And the word of the day is: MISOGOMY!
From what I can tell, this is an alternate spelling for MISOGAMY.
"IS MOM GAY?" Heather wondered. Nothing else could explain the single woman's MISOGAMY.
-
Three cheers for clean clothes.
Laundry detergent can be found on aisle eightteen.
The above should not be considered to an endorsement of any particular brand, of course.
::)
-
On the other hand, using the alternate spelling...
YOGI'S MOM did not hang out with any of the men bears. Her MISOGOMY led her to enjoy her pick-a-nick basket alone, by herself.

The weather has been quite nice this weekend here in Rehoboth. Der Brucer spent much of the day with the grandlads. For myself, I was at work all afternoon, and didn't mind at all missing their trip to the movies to see Nacho Libre.
I'll let der Grampa review the film, if he so chooses.
-
Our copy of Tarzan: the Broadway Musical arrived yesterday, and I listened to it before going to bed. For a production that utilizes bungee chords as much as this one does, the recording has a remarkable lack of spring.

Post 7000. 8)

Good morning all, just stopped in to say hello. I'm off to the lake. It's a beautiful day for a drive.
-
Sunday morning greetings!
DR Cillaliz - have a great day at the lake.
-
Good morning, and to all those in the Tacoma area...have a great HHW visit! I wish I could be there but there were just too many things going on for me this weekend...today I shall try to get a bit of cleaning done and then I have some family things to do.
I also woke up extremely early, and now I think I need a nap! 8)
-
I had my copy of Deceit sent to work. So maybe its there. I'll drop by later to see if its there. That will be my evening's entertainment.
-
Yes DRMBARNUM is up EARLY!!
Work today....work work work....time to make the donuts.
-
In a pig's eye! Hmmmm
Thanks for the link to the George Reeves Memorial, DR CILLALIZ. Interesting.
-
Good morning!
Another cool night and morning means no A/C needed and plenty of fresh air pumping into the house. GLorious.
But today is our last day of this heaven. TOmorrow is supposed to warm up and with great humidity, too. Yuck!
-
I was in such a terrible mood last night after wasting my time with that lousy movie that anything I watch today will HAVE to be an improvement.
After watching the remainder of the MARY TYLER MOORE episodes on the second disc in the set, I'm going to give TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE a try, but I will NOT watch the entire thing (as I did with The 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN last night) if I find the first half hour a turn-off.
-
New episodes of DEADWOOD and ENTOURAGE are on tonight that I'm looking forward to plus a COLD CASE rerun that I did not see during the regular season.
And now that I'm interested in GREY'S ANATOMY, there is an episode of it tonight that will be new to me, too.
-
I also meant to mention that I won a DVD copy of TOO MANY GIRLS off Ebay yesterday.
We had been talking about it earlier in the week, and DR George suggested I try seeing if Ebay had any separate copies of it up for sale. I got it for $4.75. Of course, the seller charged $4.50 for shipping, but at least I will have it now.
BTW, DR Elmore, I checked TCM's program listings, and the movie is not scheduled to show during the next three months. That's why I went ahead and made a bid on Ebay for a copy of the film.
-
Good morning, all! Today is a movie day with DR Ginny, possibly a dinner with my nephew.
My dad had a great time on the lake this weekend, but the other third of the Moore family causing all the aggravation seemed unhappy last night that he was having a good time (his wife seems to have resented caring for him and his medications but implies constantly that only she is capable of continuing his care). I have no wish to fight with my brother but I feel his wife is doing nothing to promote a peaceful atmosphere. I need to spend a bit of time with them befiore I leave, if only to assure my brother that we are fine after wednesday's events, but things don't seem settled to her and it troubles me.
At some point I need to discuss this with my brother, but they seem to exist as a pair.
-
BTW, DR Elmore, I checked TCM's program listings, and the movie is not scheduled to show during the next three months. That's why I went ahead and made a bid on Ebay for a copy of the film.
DR MattH, thanks! After you had mentioned there had been sales on eBay, I checked them out and found a copy for around $11.00. I've been meaning to thank you for the ebay suggestion.
-
DR Elmore and I just finalized our movie plans, so I'm off to get ready for the day.
Bye for now!
-
Off to sit on the side porch and enjoy these cool temperatures (probably for the last time this summer).

I was doing some research on strokes because of a very dear friend who suffered one recently, and the following from something called the Wright Newsletter seemed interesting, in that it mentions some degree of correlation between intense anger and negative emotion and risk of strokes:
Reducing Your Risk for Stroke
Anger Management
We know a lot about what puts us at risk for a stroke. We discussed HRT the other day, but there's also high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, heavy alcohol consumption, and physical inactivity to consider when evaluating your risk.
Now, we even know more about what triggers strokes -- particularly ischemic strokes, which result from a blood clot.
A new study reveals that 30 percent of stroke victims report experiencing either intense anger or negative emotion within two hours of their stroke.
It's interesting to note that this study also tested to see if experiencing strong positive emotions brought on strokes, and the answer is no. So it isn't that we need to avoid strong emotions -- just strong negative emotions.
We've seen other studies that try to measure the impact of emotions and attitude on health. Last year, we told you about another a study that showed pessimistic people are more likely to have heart disease than optimistic people (1/26/04 e-Tip, subject line: Half full). The stroke trigger study shows, however, that even an optimistic person can have a sudden turn of anger and their usual sunny disposition will not prevent the stroke.
When you become angry, the body experiences the ancient fight-or-flight response. Your blood pressure shoots up, at least temporarily, and the hormones adrenaline and cortisol are released and flood the body. Your heart rate increases, your muscles become tense, your digestive processes come to a halt, and certain parts of your brain are triggered, altering your brain chemistry. It's not exactly a surprise that, if you have a blood clot developing, this kind of physical response would be enough to put it into action and cause you to have a stroke.
For those of us who live life with a full range of expression, including anger, this study is a bit frightening. Of course, anger is a natural part of life, and it is impossible (even unhealthy) to attempt to never feel or acknowledge your anger. A better, more realistic course of action is to find healthy outlets for releasing anger, or even channeling your anger in healthier, more positive ways.
Some find that exercise helps to release anger, while yoga and meditation train the body to instantly relax and get grounded, and prepare to address the emotion more productively.
The two-hour time frame reported by the stroke victims was of particular interest to researchers. It could mean that if you can find a way to relax and short-circuit a sudden and extreme physical response to something that makes you angry, the event won't become a trigger, and you can go back later and deal with your emotions in more manageable doses at a later time.

This morning I went to the river on a bird walk, and I saw many different heron (almost a The Produers reference).
-
I'm up, I'm up. Have to jog soon because I must shower and shave and be ready to go. Vinnie should be here at eleven thirty, which only gives us about fifty minutes to do the clone and then doublecheck that everything is working properly.
-
The friend I gave that copy of DECEIT to just called, and thanked me even more! He hadn't noticed yesterday that it was autographed.
-
It looks like lots of people are working on the trivia contest, but having trouble fidning that one hook into the answer. So I hope the trivia contest doesn't get discontinued because of this week's submissions, assuming there are only a few. This week's and last week's were trickier than last year's questions.
-
Actually, we've had people playing (and guessing correctly) who haven't before. That's the fun of it.
-
Cool beans! It's one of the things that's made me look forward to Saturday mornings. I hope it goes on and on.
-
Found some fun $1 CDs at WALGREEN'S this morning...vintage radion shows...they had Fibber McGee and Molly, The Great Gildersleeve, Michael Shayne Private Detective, and a sci-fi one called Dimension X, which I have never heard of, along with a few other interesting titles....for $ 1 you can't go wrong!
-
Looks like if I go into the office for a few hours today, I can avoid going in at all tomorrow. I'm torn.
-
I must now go and get some things done.
-
Time to get going for a bit. Hope the Tacoma get-together is a great one!

I'm torn.

..trip to the movies to see Nacho Libre.
I'll let der Grampa review the film, if he so chooses.
The Grandlads had fun - and their parents enjoyed the brief respite.
For us Sexagenarians, the film brought back fond memories of a wasted pre-teenhood spent with friends gathered about a giant 8" B&W TV watching "Wrestling From Rainbow". (The hosts Mom kept a giant pot on the stove for popping corn which we all enjoyed).
Ah - Tag Teams!

Seems some reviewers found the film "juvenile" - what were they expecting, a re-working of "Birth of a Nation"?
And, although Jack Black was the star - the movie was stolen away by Hector Jimizez

Since Woody is at work and derBrucer was just posting, I assume we can count the two of them off the list for the Tacoma get together.
-
And now, I must go to my sister's house and print directions to Anthony's at Point Defiance so that I might be able to find my way to the mini-HHW Gathering today. I wasn't able to get my sister's boyfriend's camera, but I have my cell phone camera, so I can take pictures with that. Hopefully they'll turn out okay. Later! Have a good day, all!! ;D

Sadly, yes. They have a lot farther (further?) to travel than I do. See you soon!!

I like it, but couldn't you make it Mr. Demure?

Hopefully we'll have lots of photos from the gathering. I'm on my way to the Pasadena Playhouse now. Vinnie's been here, and the clone has been done, and everything seems to be working fine.
-
Back from a lovlier than lovely time at the movies with DR Elmore. We enjoyed The Devil Wears Prada and now I want my gray hair to look like Meryl Streep's.
-
Yes, indeedy! DR Ginny and I had a wonderful time. DR Ginny met Miss Julie Freeman, daughter of my dear friends Alan and Lilianne Freeman, who was working at the concession stand. The movie was fun, a different tone from the novel, with lots of plot and character chaqnges. I liked the cast, especially Ms Streep and Mr Stanley Tucci, a lot.
My dad has just stepped in so I will now step out.
I hope everyone going to Tacoma has a wonderful time! Post photos.

Good afternoon!
Because of overcast skies, it has never heated up the way they predicted, so we've ended up with another atypically cool July day. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the breeze and cooler temperatures.
-
I had to do laundry, of course, so while it was going, I watched the second disc of MARY TYLER MOORE episodes.
Among my favorites were the dinner party with Veal Prince Orloff (described last night), the one where Georgette considers becoming a nun, and the surprise birthday party for Lou Grant that goes haywire. All classic episodes from one of the show's bestg seasons.
-
Then I finally got around to TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE. Believe it or not, I laughed a good bit and found a lot to like.
I know Matt Stone and Trey Parker are bad boys who enjoy pushing the profanity and sexuality envelopes with their cartoons (and now puppet shows), but for me that was the weakest aspect of the film, and a little went a long way. Much better were the satirical jabs against some earnest liberal actors, the Ben Affleck-inspired slam against PEARL HARBOR in song, and the over the top gore and carnage with the puppets. I found the puppet work quite hilarious and mediocrely on-purpose/well done enough to get involved in the facial expressions of the characters (especially the male puppets) and all the elaborate sets and effects pretty mind-blowing.
I doubt I'd ever want to see it again, but I had a much better time with it than I did with THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN last night.
-
I started LOVESPRING INTERNATIONAL, last Monday's episode with Eric McCormack playing a straight character but with the same physical tics and body language as Will Truman. However, as I wanted to go ahead and get on the internet, I put the rest of it on hold until the get back to the TV set later this evening.
-
Now I must get to the grocery store so that I don't continue to live on chips and salsa the whole week DH Richard is away.
Bye for now!
-
Bathroom cleaning time for me and then back to the TV for the evening's viewing.
WBBL.

The wormhole between Rehoboth and Tacoma is on the fritz.
It's also on the lang.

We have been at church today, then out to lunch with some of the folks. We are just about to watch "Deceit."
-
Good Afternoon!
Yes, I've been errant and truant and truant and errant.... yadda-yadda-yadda... In the meantime...
The weather in NYC over the past couple of days has been simply glorious, and I've been spending a good chunk of time further exploring Central Park. As they say in Avenue Q - There is life outside your apartment.
I'm also finally coming out of my post-Lestat phase. I'll spare you all the dreary and sordid details, but things are starting to get back on track, and it looks like I have some nice projects lining up over the next couple of months. -Yes, I know, DR TCB, you're still waiting. ;) - But the wait will soon be over.
DR elmore - I look forward to your return to NYC.
To those Hainsies and Kimlets gathering in Tacoma, Have a Diet Coke for me!
And for everyone - Vibes and Kisses.
Laters...
-
OH! And I started Page Three to boot!
:)

Why did the barber take his cow to the beauty shop?
Tacoma.

MR BK is seeing TWO musicals today....and I am looking forward to the reports on said costumes chorography orchestrations blocking and lighting. Details must be spilled.
And what color are the programs?
-
Those in the LA area who are NOT attending the Cabaret on Friday night, might want to attend the Crue Fest on Saturday night - a cancer fund raiser at the Whiskey A GoGo. One of the bands playing will be Rok Hollywood - featuring my close personal friend Doug as the lead singer.
-
Slow news day -
-
I have returned from lunch with George, Jane, and Keith. I have had the pleasure of meeting George on several occasions, but it was wonderful to see him again. This was, however, my first chance to meet Nurse Jane and DH Keith (Jane's DH, not mine). Jane was every bit as wonderful as I knew she would be, and Keith is quite delightful.
-
In honor of our out-of-town visitors, Tacoma was on its best behavior. The sun was shining brightly, the mountain was out in all of its glory, and the bluest skies you've ever seen were in Tacoma.
-
Jane had the Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad, George had the cheeseburger, Keith had the halibut and chips, and I had the pan-fried oysters.
We spent many long hours dissing all of the people at this site; except, of course, those people who actually post here.
-
Thanks for the report, DR TCB. I am hoping DR GEORGE or DRJANE took photos.
-
Yes, I want photos too!
I am glad it was a fun visit in Tacoma and I wish I could have been there...but it was just not to be this time around :-\
-
Well, as I was dusting a book shelf this afternoon (something I rarely do!! LOL!) I noticed that that a lovely photo of Miss Allison Hayes that was in a frame on the shelf was turning strange colors...well, I tried to take Allison's photo out of the frame...and only part of the photo was removable...part of it is now stuck to the glass...lesson learned.
-
....Next on my list of things to do will be to remove valued move photos and autographed pictures from their glass frames.
-
You know what...it is very hot in Salem, Orygun, 97301.

Had a nice time with my mom, my sis, and my brother Jeff today. We laughed and ate and shopped.
And now my frenzy is over.

Glad you said that, I hadn't received and email, but hadn't checked my spam. There it was. Whitesheik is now an approved sender

Yes, I want photos too!

Thanks for the report, DR TCB. I am hoping DR GEORGE or DRJANE took photos.
Now, wait just a minute! You are hoping that George or Jane took photos? Excuse me? I took my camera with me to lunch......
-
And no, I did not take any photos!
-
Were your ears burning, Mr. Barnum?
He just SAID it was very hot in Salem, Orygun.

No, that certain parts of Miss Allison easily get stuck to the glass.
:o
-
Sounds like a grand time at the get together
-
Sister-in-law Jo Ann and I just watched the Kelly McGillis-Harrison Ford film WITNESS on HBO. I had forgotten how wonderful it is.
Sounds like the Tacoma gathering was fun. I'm waiting for photos.

Sister-in-law Jo Ann and I just watched the Kelly McGillis-Harrison Ford film WITNESS on HBO. I had forgotten how wonderful it is.

DR Elmore, I loved the movie. You say the book is different....would you recommend it?

Paul, who is a friend of Patricia Field, keeps telling people to go to the movie. But he keeps calling it DEATH BY PRADA....lol I have this image of someone laying on the ground with "Prada" imbedded in her head

Cillaliz - thanks for the tip! I'm planning Monday, October 2-Sunday, October 8. My conference at the Foundation Center is Friday and Saturday of that week (not in Atlanta this year!). It's just a daytime thing, so evenings will be free even when I'm "working."
I got curious to see if the hotel rates were dropping, so checked the Comfort Inn (where I already have a reservation). They've gone UP!
-
At last, page 4!
-
Is someone confusing DEATH BY PRADA with DEATH BE NOT PRADA, I wonder?
-
That was dumb, but it was a post. :)
-
Never did make it to the office today, unfortunately.

DH Richard just called from Nashotah House in Wisconsin. He must really be out in the boonies, because the cell phone kept breaking up.
-
Tomorrow, my friend Suellyn and I are going to see the Prairie Home Companion movie. We really had to scour the tristate to find someplace still showing it!
-
Just got my plane reservations.. only $198 plus all the fees... Orbitz was cheaper than the airline website. I'm going Wed 10-4 to Sun 10-8
-
We (Anthony and me) are back in New York City. We had a wonderful time in/on Long Island but tomorrow I must return to the office.
We slept late and ate good food and saw friends and talked and laughed and played with the dog!
I am all caught up on notes, now I need to catch up on posts.
It's 10:12pm on Sunday evening and I'm about to go to bed. I will see you all tomorrow.
P.S., no pictures were taken the entire time Anthony and I were away so no pictures will be posted although some pictures from the production of Beauty and the Beast may find their way to this here site.
Hello and Goodbye to Ginny and Cil :-)

That's a great fare! I need to wait until Richard gets back and decompresses from his trip this week before pinning him down about October!
-
Nice to have you back, Ben!

Plus all the fees adds another $40-50, but still a great fare. Couldn't pass it up
-
Hi Ben! Glad you and Ant are back. Would love to see Beauty and the Beast photos
-
I just took a two hour nap. We old people do that a lot.
-
I really wish I could come to New York in October. The other day I realized that I have never been to Ground Zero, and soon it won't even be Ground Zero any longer.
-
I just took a two hour nap. We old people do that a lot.
Also, people who have recently had major anesthesia, DR TCB! I don't have that excuse, but I, too, fell asleep on the couch earlier and never made it to the grocery.
-
Well I tried the trivia and have to give up. I am glad some people got it. But I just couldn't grasp it.
-
Boy oh boy are we slow today. Got to get cracking.
-
Well some good news:
As of today I have lost 56 pounds and still more to go.
-
Of course, I also want to go to Lost Wages to see the WSMA in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
-
Well I have to work tomorrow. So it is time for bed
-
Well some good news:
As of today I have lost 56 pounds and still more to go.
Congratulations, DR Michael S!

I almost just wrote to get a frenzy going, but I know what kind of dirty minds some people (A SS reference) at this site have!

Whew! Page 5, at last.

Congrats Michael S!

LOL! Someone offered me a frenzy and I totally missed it? Typical

92 degrees here again today.....
-
Watched a bunch of things once the cleaning chore was out of the way.
I found out when I was on-line this afternoon which episode from Season 1 of THE CLOSER Kyra Sedgwick submitted for the Emmy voting, so I wanted to rewatch it.
For those who know the show, it was the one where Brenda was almost raped by a suspect as she combed through a crime scene alone. She's wonderful in the show, but the nature of the ensemble makes it tough, I believe, for her to win for this episode. Others on the show get a lot of screen time. I know in the episode that Mariska Hargitay submitted, she's on the phone in dramatic conversation with a child being held captive as she tries to glean information from her so they can locate her. And I read that Allison Janney submitted a WEST WING episode where she was front and center almost the entire show barking orders and being very assertive.
Frances Conroy submitted the gut-wrenching series finale of SIX FEET UNDER for her entry. I'm not sure which episode Geena Davis submitted.
-
We have to get a frenzy going....think I'll sing....la la la la...oh, guess that doesn't translate very well
-
Oy!~ it's going to be about 100 degrees next weekend. That just isn't necessary....global warming I tell you
-
My mother found me this great reisling wine in a bottle shaped like a cat. Don't know if the wine will be any good but the bottle is really cool. I'm going to look for more of them. I guess they come in all colors
-
Oh, thank goodness, Matt H. is here to get us to Page 5.
Or Not.
Give me time. I have a lot of TV to report! :)
-
And I couldn't just watch one episode of THE CLOSER so I kept it on for the next one on the disc, the one with the autistic child who witnessed a murder.
Another good one.
-
I saw one of Collin Firth's costume from Pride and Prejudice last Thursday night. Too bad he wasn't in it
-
Let's see what else do I know? Not much
-
Next, I watched the rerun of COLD CASE which I had not seen due to sports runovers earlier in the year.
It had to do with the murder of a Vietnam P.O.W. after he got back to the US. Very mournful tale.
-
TCB!!! Where did you go???? You invite me to frenzy and then you just disappear....
-
Typical
-
DEADWOOD had a gripping hour with its customary measure of violence (a truly brutal fight to the death in the middle of the street; there was also a suicide later in the episode.)
-
;D ;D ;D
-
And I finished the evening with GREY'S ANATOMY. This was the Thanksgiving episode from this season.
Even though I'm seeing the episodes out of order, having seen the first two episodes of the show last Thursday, I had no trouble following the relationships as they've progressed over the course of a bunch of as yet unseen episodes.
-
Oh, I forgot to mention that I did finish watching LOVESPRING INTERNATIONAL. The Eric McCormack episode wasn't nearly as funny or interesting as the episode I watched last week.
-
Tonight is the season premiere of RENO 911! as well. The DVR picked it up while I was watched GREY'S ANATOMY.
So, I'll have that and ENTOURAGE to watch tomorrow.
-
DR Jose,
Glad to hear things are falling into place for you. Vibes for good news and wonderful new opportunities
-
Was there any frenzic evidence in that episode of DEADWOOD?
-
Molly's been with us four days and tonight is her fourth night. Her human returns from her trip tomorrow afternoon.
-
Toby's been on good behavior. (He seems to have figured out that when Molly's around, he gets more treats. :) )
-
Dylan is always on good behavior.
-
Yeah! For Toby and Dylan. They were very nice when we visited. Molly is lucky to have such a friendly place to stay while her human is away
-
Well, I'm off to bed. I was doing fairly well on my diet until today. I had fabulous fried chicken, fresh green beans cooked with bacon, my mother's potato salad, fresh radishes and a home made angel food cake with marshmallow frosting (it's my mother's favorite, so if she makes a birthday cake, that's what you get).
-
Well, I'm heading for bed now.
Good night!
-
Of course she sent more chicken and cake home with me....so...I HAD to eat it for dinner tonight
-
We're almost to page 6...no?
-
This should do it
-
Happy page 6....I'm off to get some sleep
-
TCB!!! Where did you go???? You invite me to frenzy and then you just disappear....
I got a phone call.
[/i]
-
That TCB was off Takin' Care of Business, wasn't he?
-
And with that, goodnight!!!!!
-
I just got an e-mail (spam) with the subject line,
"Shop till you drop on us."
[/i][/b]
Now what makes them think I would want to drop on them?
-
And with that, goodnight!!!!!
Good night, Fred!
-
I was just checking out hotel rates in New York in October. Good grief! It is almost cheaper to fly home every night, and then fly back in the morning!
-
Well, good night!
[/i]
-
Got caught answering an email, so just wanted to see how far we'd gotten towards page 7.
-
Not far, I see!
-
I think I really mean it this time - good night!
-
Back from a long day of theatergoing, about which more later. I'm tired, but have to do things on the computer. I did have three orders waiting when I got home, so that was nice, but I'm waiting for the upswing that will hopefully come tomorrow.
-
I've been home for several hours and I just remembered that I need to post the pictures that I have! I only took four, but I think they're nice pictures. I had to use my camera phone, but I think they turned out very nice. Here's DR (and DNurse) Jane:
-
Here's DR TCB:
-
Here is DR Jane and her DH Keith:
-
And finally, the view of Mt. Rainier from the restaurant entrance:
-
When we were in the restaurant, we asked our (very cute, in my humble opinion ;)) waiter to take our picture, but the water behind us was too bright a background. After we left, we were able to get a picture at the entrance of the restaurant, but that was not taken with my camera. I don't remember if it was Jane's or TCB's.
-
And don't you all just love Jane's shirt?? ;)
I wonder where they just went to? ;D
-
Butt, where IS Jane?
-
I think I ate too much food today, although only one meal. One taco, two cheese enchiladas, some chips and salsa. Then, a piece of coconut cream pie after the show. I did do the extra long jog this morning, so maybe I'll be fine and dandy.
-
She and Keith were dead tired and needed to find a hotel to stay for tonight. I think that they weren't actually planning on getting home until Tuesday.
-
When I first was served my cheeseburger, the bun looked like it had mold on it!! :o Fortunately, I hadn't eaten any of it...just the fries, which were very good. The waiter took my burger and in a few minutes brought me a new one. He said that the cook said that it was just some oil that got on the bun, but I must say that it didn't look like oil to me! Other than that little incident, the meal was very good.
-
Well some good news:
As of today I have lost 56 pounds and still more to go.
Congratulations! I've lost a little more than 10 pounds and am stuck for now (eating at Anthony's doesn't help ::)). But I'm not giving up at all. I know it'll take a long time and I plan on continuing...as long as it takes. :)
-
Tonight is the season premiere of RENO 911! as well. The DVR picked it up while I was watched GREY'S ANATOMY.
AARRGGHH!! I knew I forgot something. I forgot that RENO 911 was on tonight and I haven't been watching any TV! Darn. At least it'll be on again. :)
-
Well, since we're almost to page 7, lets see if I can push us over...
-
...before BK changes the day.
-
;)
-
After I got home, I decided to make some more ringtones for my phone. :)
-
I picked the overture to "Mack & Mabel." A very good, loud choice, I thought.
-
[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]PAGE 7 DANCE!![/move]
-
And I also made THREE ringtones from the overture to "Merrily We Roll Along," using different parts of the piece. :D
-
I love my new phone! But then, I'd better...I paid a little too much for the darned program to make the ringtones AND I had to get the specific cable from the company that makes the program. It all added up, so I'd better use it. ;)
-
I'm thinking about making a ringtone from the song, "I Like Fish," sung by our very own Guy Haines!! ;D
-
What do you think, BK? Would Guy Haines mind being a ringtone??
